I have been encouraging a friend to play DBD for a long time. They have been hesitant because they are usually more of the Call Of Duty type of player. I consistently preached the awesomeness of DBD. Does anybody know how many disconnects in what amount of time it takes to get a penalty? I haven’t played with the new update of the DC penalty yet but I heard somebody say it was 3 DC’s, and match cancellation and game crashes add to the amount of DC’s needed to get a penalty. if I leave 2 games back to back and then leave another game an hour later, do I still get the penalty? You guys probably won't care about this which is a shame with a game that i used to enjoy. I heard, read and watched the changes you guys made in match to the dc policy. But tonight i got disconnected 2 times all of a sudden and lost all my Rank progress (4 pips in two matches) which it wouldn't mind but when you have a full time job all time kinda of matters. So I was loading into a match and I guess I never connected, which forced the match to cancel. I get to the main menu and have a 2 minute DC penalty timer. While I'm in favor of a DC penalty, why should it affect someone who was unable to connect to the match? So I double trapped a pallet like normal to cut off a long loop later on the hatch spawns nearby so I go to get traps to make sure it's not used I accidentally broke the pallet and stepped into my trap on that side lol when suddenly the trap on the other side kept teleporting into me triggering a infinate trap stun loop7 comments 212 views last activity

Recently with the release of the Cursed Legacy Chapter it brought along a lot of bugs for both sides mainly killer, because of this I've stopped playing killer completely due to the fact that some of these bugs are game breaking for the killer and with the recent hotfix that nerfed Oni and Freddy but they didn't fix the Wraith's bug or the sounds issue it has made it much more frustrating to play47 comments 1,343 views last activity

Instead of just increasing repair times, I'm offering to decrease them, increasing Survivors interactions with the Killer, but still make Trials longer for Killers. After the Oni's nerf, survivors can just reset their positioning on whatever tile he catches them on and no pressure has been applied. The removal of his flick has made Oni boring and impotent, I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes low tier after people learn to play against him if left in this state. Would allow us to express fear (at a good play) / distract the killer by revealing our location if in terror radius and could be tied into perks even (if you scream you get X effect etc). Is there a way of knowing whose Kindred is active while another survivor who has it equipped is on the hook? Bro the key has NO effects without a addon, and you always will find it on chest sometimes. Give it at least a weak effect like finding injured survivors and doors or gens. Or spawn it on the chest with two addons already. Hopefully this gets their attention. They need to start paying close attention to the update rank error and random disconnecting taking place in game matches. I have been dealing with this since the release of the Stranger Things DLC. It only happens when I play survivor. Never when I play killer. Please don't self-care. Please don't tap the gen if Legion has Pop and someone just went down (you can tell they have Pop if you lost a whole buncha progress and the gen has red sparkles). Please realize Legion will probably have Discordance and plan accordingly. Please don't throw pallets if they're in their frenzy. It's clear at this point that when survivors focus on generators the games go by pretty fast, it's no wonder Ruin is such a popular perk. Games should not be decided by totem RNG. When Ruin is found right away it fails to do the 1 thing it's supposed to (slow down the early game), when Ruin is up all match the killer player usually has an easy game as the gens don't get done in time. I am a survivor main. I have far more hours in survivor than I do killer. That being said, I've been playing more killer lately because the bloodpoint gains are much higher; and to challenge myself.
