Unrelenting buff

The cool-down of missed attacks it reduced by 30%

Hitting a successful attack activates Unrelenting for the next 10/20/30 seconds any successful attacks made reduce the successful attack cool-down by 20%

successful attack cool-down reductions don't stack with other attack reduction perks

This doesn't seem as busted as that though. The killer would have to have a lot of stacks on STBFL and also would have had to hit someone in the past 30 seconds to actually be like the old machine gun build. It's a strong effect, but pretty situational.

What made that build strong is when survivors crowd up. With the proper amount of STBFL stacks it will be very much like the old build.

Survivors can just split up or start running from the killer a little earlier. It seems to have a fair amount of counter-play and build-up time, and it requires two of the killer's four perk slots. It would be a bit too powerful if it was like before where the only condition was the obsession be alive, but the change to STBFL and the proposed change to Unrelenting wouldn't make it as easy to pull off and snowball from.

They could of split off back then as well. Didn't stop the Devs from gutting STBFL and removing the earlier buff given to Unrelenting.

This suggestion adds back Unrelenting's succesful attack cool down reduction.

I've rather not have a situation where the Devs overreact and nerf everything that would orbit this combo.

I doubt that they'd gut both perks again if they buff Unrelenting. The devs seem to have gotten a lot better at not utterly destroying things when they nerf them since then.

    Legion...

  • I was playing during the days of the machine gun build. It was hilarious and horrifying at the same time. They definitely overnerfed to make sure it was dead, but I can’t say it’d be a healthy change to bring it back, even in a temporary situation like this suggests.

I would like Unrelenring to increase lunge distance by 15-30% too.

    I want more meta perks

  • We don't need this monstrous thing back. I remember the machine gun build. Of course there was a ton of other stuff completely screwed back then as well but yeah let's not make a grand return of this magnificent build.

  • how would this work on the hit that activates the perk would that get the reduction on the hit or would you then have to get another hit to get the reduced hit time?

  • they should just buff the perk to 50 or 70%

    Nope

It's legit only 20% for at most 30 seconds and it doesn't even stack with STBFL
