The shadow-nerfs/changes: Basically every pallet near the groaning housestore main building has been removed. Breakable adds were added in ,,fixed loops" (ones that were nerfed in the god loops removal). Plus some boxes and other stuffs moved, to block a window or two. Rank 2 killer. Bubba main. Camps hooks with undetectable. Extremely bad at looping and any other skills this game requires. Yet still on rank 2 cuz Bubba. EZEZ after matches. I did this once. Overall i played Bubba like 5 times but he is extremely boring and i feel "special" for playing this killer. So I thought I would comment on just how hard it is to advance once you hit Rank-4 playing Myers alone. I will battle my way to within one Pip of getting to three, only to lose pip after pip back to the edge of dropping to five again. BHVR is clearly invested in building up the lore of DBD, and tbh I think that's great! Reading up on the background of Killers and survivors can be a real treat, especially when this lore is accompanied with the very lovely animated art stills. I have been farming for ages to get fun perks on some of my killers and im hating it, I ask myself the question why do I have to grind this long to use the perks I want? For survivor its a lot simpler only having to really only level one survivor if you want, but for killers, perks interact with them differently and create fun experiences but I have to grind my life away to play with them. Whether it be killer or survivor the amount of DC is ridiculous. people intentionally kill themselves or will just quit the game for getting hit or downed. It happened a few times while playing survivor where another survivor would disconnect the instant he got downed. Just saw news about apex legends getting a reconnect feature and dbd needs that aswell. The servers can be pretty bad and the game has to many bugs. Usually there's at least one red rank so I can chalk it up to a smurf team, or at least assume so, but in this case the poor guys were obviously still fairly inexperienced. I don’t know why killer mains want SWF nerfed so badly. You’re literally just having fun with your friends. Not every SWF is a “bully squad” as killers call them, most just want to talk and have fun sometimes even meme. If a killer has a map that is horribly crippling on their power, why has BHVR no implemented a system where those maps have a lesser chance of coming around? Like Myers and GF have a lower chance on the farms, Legion has a lesser chance to get big maps, Trapper has a lower chance on indoor maps. So I'm going for the "No Mither" challenge in the archives, but get frustrated after getting spirit twice in a row. The first match wasn't too bad, but I got caught in chase very quickly. One gen was done, he had one hooked at that point. I got his attention and the chase began. I ran him around the map for awhile, at least enough time for my team to get 2 gens done. When none were done and he was still on me, I knew I had lower ranked team mates (Killer and I were both the only red ranks in the game). It's a minor rant. I have 3.000 hours. Two days in a row I had 3 games where I just died because I didn't press space during struggle stage. It’s a game, y’all! And yes I’m super competitive too. But the only way to get better is to actually play and not complain and use cheats to win! I play mainly survivor at a low 7, and honestly that’s about where I play. If I start to gain pips and play better killers, I usually lose those pips because I’m not at that level and that works for me! (Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work??) So, The Rift has been pretty decisive. It adds a ton of grind to an already incredibly grindy game. In one blog it was suggested that part of the incentive is to obtain exclusive content and to maintain that exclusivity. In today's about the anniversary, it opens the doors on some items making a return to the store. Is there a way we can gain Clarity on what's coming and what isn't?
