  • There is no such thing as a "BP Economy". The bloodweb is not a stock market. It's just a grinding mechanic.

I have no issue with BP bonus on everything. It's just sad how soloq is trying to keep up with SWF.

  • Nurse, Oni, Deathslinger. They work just fine and don't require addons. Deathslinger could have a higher range for my taste but oh well.

Honorble mention to Huntress. When ur actually good at sniping her power is very strong and fun. Throwing an axe across the entire map and get that hit sound is one of the best experiences. But it takes a few hundred hours to actually get there.

  • I do the same as you. Try to do gens, heal, unhook and sweat not to win but to try not to get a de-pip.

But with every match like this my mood goes more and more downhill until at some point i am glad to get hooked so i can suicide. Obviously after 5 matches dying on first hook, the one's you want to give up immedietly are those where they run for the hook and keep you from suiciding.

I don't usually kill myself when someone is running for the unhook. Only if no one comes and im sick of it anyway.

  • Agreed. I had matches where i hit everyone once because they started together, but after that never managed to get 2 hit's because they split up over the map. The first hit is easy but when Nr 2 is hugging a loop the frenzy is gone. I got outplayed like this as well as i have outplayed other's. It's not hard to do at all. Most of the time this frenzy mode feels morel ike a debuff then a power. Get 1 hit as you would with anyn ormal killer and then waste a lot of time.

See, I don’t actually mind her face. I think she looks really pretty, my issue has always been with the hair lol. Meg is also one of my favourite survivors and I find her so cute. Especially her default head. I’m not sure why so many people call her ugly. I think she’s so adorable. 😂

I like her size and proportions. But her rear end when healing looks very puffy and her face ... i think it's her eyes and the texturing that bother me. Her mouth is kinda cute though. A bit like belle delphine xD

    Wait a second ...

@Devs: Give us Belle Delphine as character! Immedietly! ASAP! xD

I absolutely love her hair in the movie, it just looks nothing like it in the game.

I’m hoping that it’s one of the things that gets changed during the graphical update.

Agreed. But she needs a complete makeover. Currently she is (in my opinion) the ugliest character in the game. This also includes most killers. This body shape is just scary.

I would also like to see some butt love for the girls. Devs somehow managed to give most character models diaper butts which is painfull to look at when healing. Also Megs and Nea's faces look like they just got their gender surgery done. Especially Meg could look a lot more feminine. On Nea it kinda depends what head model you choose. Grim Matsuri is most peoples favorite. What you never see is a head from Stockholm Syndrome.

I'm frequently around 6-4 rank as survivor, and I honestly think I've met less tunnelers/campers in lower ranks xP Unless there is really change on ranks 3-1.

4-1 is better. I had a lot of good matches with proper team mates yesterday on 4 but dropped to 5 today and immedietly had matches with people DC, suicide, crouching across map instead of doing gens and so on. I am buffled every single time when im on the hook and i see that the killer seems to be in a chase with 3 people simultaniusly on the other side of the map. Two run in the same direction for the closest pallet and one is hiding behind a rock waiting for the killer to leave his chunk of the map, while you are on hook. Luckely i got back on red ranks today. There is a noticeable gap in skill and teammates you get paired with as soon as you hit or leave red ranks.

Facing red rank killers isn't alway's fun. I HATE these last milisecond hit's before the drop, or being hit while already vaulted and with a huge gap between me and the killer. But at least your team get's stuff done. Much less annoying and frustrating to play.

  • Tunneling, camping, DC, suicide on hook ... all good reasons to play on red ranks. Sadly you have to go past this crap to get there, but it get's less the higher you rank.

  • My build:

Fire up + Play with your Food + Brutal Strength + Bamboozle

Find obsession, build up 3 stacks, go rampage. Fire Up adds additional speed to the other perks, making chases a summer breeze with brutal ending. Fire Up could also be replaced with Whispers but i never have issues finding survivors. Does have terror radius, but with this much speed that doesn't matter.

That isn't counterplay, at least not how you seem to think it is. Counterplay is I see you're doing something, and I can observe what you're doing to make a play that, if I'm more skillful than you, will result in a favorable outcome for me.

Mashing left and right is not that, partially because of quickscoping (he can fire instantly so your "dodge" isn't seeing the shot coming and moving out of the way, it's wiggling around like an idiot and hoping that forces a miss, which are NOT the same things) and partially because of zoning. He can just keep bringing up his scope with no penalty until you move left and right enough to lose a massive amount of distance dodging literally nothing because he was never going to fire to begin with.

This is different from the Huntress, who has counterplay. Because you can see her projectile coming, and dodge it. You don't need to wiggle left and right, you can see it, choose a direction, and move out of the way before it gets to you. She can't quickscope zone you because she has a large windup (visual and audio cue with delay) before every single shot, plus a charge time if she wants the hatchet to go faster, making it harder to dodge in time.

How people cannot grasp the difference between making wild guesses and hoping the other person fails and actually responding to what is happening in a tactical manner is beyond me. I know "dodge" and "he missed" seem similar because they result in the same outcome; you not getting hit, but in terms of playability, they're so, so different. Maybe an exaggerated analogy will help: Imagine a guy throwing big, heavy rocks at you from across the street. You see each rock coming, and dodge it. Now imagine that same guy with a machine gun and wildly firing. You're not "dodging" those bullets, you're hoping they don't hit you.

In a loop you are jumping thour windows and throw pallet's around you "like an idiot". No counterplay because it looks funny? What is 360 then? xD

Maybe you should play Deathslinger yourself. I have met many survivors who where actually capable of dodging me. Deathslinger does not telegraph when he is shooting like the huntress does. The counterplay is to have anything between you and him, drop pallets early when neccessary and have a good feel for timing in your gut's. When he is behind you and you ran in a straight line for a second, he will shoot any moment. It is all about timing and the correct feeling. If you don't understand that you might lack the skill. Other's have it.

BTW: Gen rush is counterplay to EVERY killer. When you are effective at doing gens, that is all the counterplay you need.

Also you compare deathslinger to huntress. Deathslingers projectile have a traveling time just like the huntress does. But other then the huntress axes, the harpoon of the deathslinger has a very small hitbox. Where a body shot with huntress is a guaranteed hit, the deathslinger misses even those because of the pinpoint hitbox. That is why many deathslingers hang out at hooks so they can get a shot on none moving targets. When in movement, iti s not that easy to hit with him. Which is something you would know if you had ever played with him.

  • ^This

I missed a ton of shot's that should have hit. Survivors complain about not enough counterplay but all you often need to do is to smash <- and -> while running and there is a good chance a shot will miss and even go right throu you. Similar to the 360 move on other killers.

  • I think he is about as hard to master as nurse. But without everything that makes nurse fun to play.

At least by now i have seen a good Blight player. Singular. He is not as garbage as some might say, but i find him very annoying and no fun at all. And then there is the issue where you can not see #########. I am litterally losing survivors because they run around a small rock. And then you can not use his power on so many objects because of the weird behavior and angles. He will make the bottom of my list where he can snuggle with Demigorgon and Plague.

  • EVEN BETTER!

Show kill rate charts for SWF compared to none swf teams!

  • No he is not.

Killers that do not compete with SWF fall out of the meta.

  • The point that freddy has a relatively low pick rate but a high kill rate means that there are fewer people who play them but those who mained him are very good. Has nothing to do with being OP. You just read what you want.

  • You get a skin for free and you can choose from 5 different skins. So you definetly get to pick at least one character that you actually play. That is pretty good and even better as 2 skins for free for characters you might not even play.

  • It took a lot of complaining, but this is amazing!

The Bloodweb grind issue with too many characters is not fixed by this, but this should settle the mood for the holiday's. Thank's devs!

  • Look's like there are very few but effective pig's on the road.

  • I don't see why anyone would call this small pp ...

Claudette + Urban evasion, quick and quiet, iron will and left behind is something i would call a small pp build.

  • Ticket's are not working for a good time now. I tryed to use one a few weeks ago too but no chance.

As someone who is now playing both sides of the game I respect that it's your job to well Kill. But This is a timed event. where we can all get more blood points on both sides.

You don't need to end the match as fast as possible to show how good you are. I've given killers blighted hooks when I can because I know it's their part of the event. And I'll do flowers and Blighted Gens as survivor even if I have to end up dead by the end. It is just a game after all.

I'm also aware that it's your choice of how you play as a killer and I respect that too. I just wanted to say my piece. I'm adjusting back to the usual destruction that comes with being a survivor.

This may fall on mostly deaf ears but I don't care.

Same goes for survivors too. we can all get more blood points and still have fun. I know I can.

As someone else who play's both sides: Devs made the tome survivor sided with these pedals so you barely get into survivor lobby's. So i am kinda forced to play killer instead, which is good. With my best killers i can do 30k BP consistently in almost every match. Thus allowing me to grind BP that i can then use for halloween addons on both sides as well as extra rift progress. This is also part of the event and no bad or toxic intention. But i usually also give the hatch. So there is that too.

They gave you a comparison and you decided to ignore it. I'll give another one.

Battlefield manages to have 64 players in a game with massively scaled wars that still don't manage to cause noticeable framerate dips, even back on older consoles like the 360.

    Need anymore?

For starters: Battlefield is running on Frostbite Engine which has been developed inhouse, fitting to what it need's to do. Epic games is getting better, but has just started to optimize their engine for open world scenarios.

I am not ignoring anything, nor do i say that DBD is at it's limits with optimization. Porting games onto different platforms can take a great deal of effort in coding and every platform is and works different. They will sort out the issues eventually.

    "You guys are a joke."

So ... you are joking then? Or what is that supposed to mean?

I agree that some people here seem to want everything for free. But at the same time, devs are very busy to push out stuff that directly translates into more money like DLC's, crossplay and costumes and very slow in pushing bug fixes or in adressing balancing issues not only with a few perks but with the core game like matchmaking and certain map's etc. I mean 6 years into public release and only now they start to re-design the matchmaking ... that is ... remarkable. You are ignoring the elephant in the room and there are reasons why the communication between community and BHVR is not the best. Everyones pissed all the time. Largely negative. Almost no white knight's defending the devs. I don't believe that you can fully blame the community for that. Dev's have contributed to this over and over again.

Wanna compare Mp game to MP, aight, Black Ops 4 and Dbd... Bo4 takes 96Gb (I have every dlc) even Warzone (which is over 100Gb) runs better, except for yesterday since everyone was on because of Halloween event

For starters: Disc space has absolutely ZERO to do with performance.

I could make a whole "for starters" series, but i have no time for that.

  • For starters: Compare MP to other MP games, not SP to MP. One is more GPU sided, the other is more CPU heavy.

Rainbow six, 2018. Worst season every, shield glitch with that you didn't have to aim and you could shoot like you are aiming. 2019 one of the buggiest ops in the game got almost permanently banned out of the game because of a glitch. Shields got banned at all because of glitches. R6 bans players for abusing glitches. Rockstar games resets the account to 0% for abusing glitches. Overwatch also bans. You can't tell them to not ban anyone because ItS tHeIr FaUlT. Don't abuse it. Or don't cry when you get banned.

Still bad buiseness practise to ban people because you are too lazy to fix issues.

  • The idea is good but struggle builds work almost exclusively against slugging or (as in your case) killers with very bad eyesight + headset.

Maybe some day we will see a perk that allows you to heal while struggeling as well as allow you to escape when you have recovered. Once a match when reaching 50% struggle you could heal one health state and escape. This + essentually your build would give a new meta build.

  • Add more "Generators" including "Gens" that fit into the map design. There could be so much more to fix as generators. Pipes with Valves, power boxes, battery's, windmill's, solar power and different types and models. Different element's could have slightly different mini-games. Things to repair could be integrated into the map design.

There is no reason it HAS to be a generator. That's just all that DBD has ... it's boring by design because devs didn't think of more. How about an capture the flag element where you have to transport an item from A to B without the killer noticing you? Some killers come with new mechanics but the core game is stale.

Hacking a bank is theft? I know I agreed to the EULA and I expect to get banned if I exploit, my point is that you shouldnt

What kind of exploit are we talking?

I see uses of exploit's almost every day. Smaller and bigger ones where im not even sure what is an exploit and what not. Hag+Mad Grit = Exploit or feature? Crawling underneath a hook?

Like when an exploit isn ot newely explored but part of the game for month's or even years - How can the devs expect that nobody will use them? EVERY OTHER developer (especially big companys) push out hotfixes for those kind of issues. If they don't do that and instead push one DLC and cosmetic after another, then users will have to assume that these exploits are legit game features. There need's to be a rule for that. Some sort of deadline from discovery to a point where it becomes okey to use an exploit, because otherwise devs would never have to fix anything but can keep banning people for thing's they should have been fixed years ago (as in case with the hook crawl).

Too lazy to fix issues but not too lazy to push the ban button. That's just sad.

  • I think he inhaled too much gases from the police car's =)

Best way to handle Haddonfield as a killer is to meme or tab out in a corner. This largely also depends on killer+build. With Trapper, Haddonfield is actually fun to play. But most killers struggle a great deal. It is way too large with all those buildings and stuffed with strong loops as the buildings themselves and these ultra long fences.

  • @Dito175 said:

It is banned in almost every other game, why it wouldn't be here?

    Do you have any examples?

I don't know what this thread is about, but bug's have to be fixed. Not kept in the game and get people banned for them. OP is right.

In any online game that is somewhat competetive gamers will use what they have and make the best from it. This is totally normal. Obviously this also includes all kind's of Exploit's as they come up in every game. The Job of a developer is to have their games tested or test by themselves and solve those issues. Not banning players. They CAN bann anyone they want to, from a legal perspective there is (sadly) no refund included, but it's very bad buiseness practise to do so. Nothing unexpected though from Behavior Interactive. They don't care much about good or bad buiseness practises among developers.

  • That's probably one out of 20 but yeah, sure. Nurse is the hardest killer to master.

  • @Babyyy_Boyy said:

I don’t know why killer mains want SWF nerfed so badly. You’re literally just having fun with your friends. Not every SWF is a “bully squad” as killers call them, most just want to talk and have fun sometimes even meme. I get I get it, some perks are broken with SWF and comms take over specific perks but if you take away SWF you’ll probably be winning 99% of your killer matches.

If that would be true then devs can balance the game more in favor of survivors. ALL survivors. Currently there is a ton og push back against any survivor buffs or killer debuffs. That's mainly due to the few very bad and toxic matches every killer has once in a while.

btw. please stop with this "main killer" argument. I play survivor even more then killer and i see SWF as an issue myself.

Everyone has to endure toxic and sweaty matches in this game. Do you think anyone enjoys playing against moris, or Insidious campers, or Stridor Spirits? Should there be an opt out for all of those as well? Let’s just show everyone their opponent’s load outs pre-game too, that way I can dodge iri head Huntresses and rusty shackle Hags and Objects and DS/UB gamers and Freddys with slowdown builds.

    Agreed.

Mori's and many addons are desperate for changes. So is the MM system and SWF mechanic. But as long as devs don't start working on thing's but continue to sell costumes instead we will see another 100 threads with thousands of arguments about this stuff.

  • Things that don't directly translate into more money like event's, tomes or costumes seem to get the least attention.

DBD Mobile has a training mode now. I don't need it anymore but i don't get why this is mobile exclusive. Starting a custom game solo would be enough to learn the maps, learn how to 360, learn how to teleport with nurse, learn how to strave around corners with billy and so on. But nope. Not even that is included.

Alternative gamemodes would be fun but i don't see this coming anytime soon.

Where did I say that using "" Makes my argument "superior"

Thing is, and you should accept that there's a fact: Devs already said they're not doing separate game modes/queue modes.

And exactly why should we care about people that are not even the 5% of the community (Toxic SWF), and toxic people exist on both sides, same as smurfing.

You're basically punishing normal SWF making them getting longer queue what a great "idea"

So yeah, ignore whatever fits your agenda lol, and imagine attacking me because you dont agree with me, that's so childish and shows your low iq, are you unable to have a normal discussion? if you're not, then forums are not for you.

So you are part of the toxic 5% then. I would say i am surpprised, but that would be a lie. Calling me childish with low iq for "attacking" you. Okey then. Bye.

BTW to answer your "Point" If devs give X side the option to play easy-mode (Let's say removing X enemie from the game) in A ONLINE game, what do you think will happen? Yea, that's right, people that want to play against that enemie will have to wait 1 hour cause if you have the option to play easy mode, why not use it?

Your point only works on NO ONLINE games, sorry but that's the truth.

Sorry but you are talking nonesense. You still ignore my arguments and putting "" on them doesn't make your opinion superior.

Removing SWF from normal MM doesn't make it "easy mode". It gives a plain field to balance the game without the randomness of toxic SWF groups smurfing their way into whatever ranks they feel like and abuse this broken system. If you don't see an issue with that and call ranked MM without this "easy mode" there is actually nothing left to talk with you.

You are ignoring the point(s) of my earlyer posts. Also this was the case some time ago before devs encrypted the game files, survivors played with readers to see what killer they are going against and matches still happened. Personally i dunno what killer i wouldn't go against. This doesn't actually matter at all. What matters for the outcome of the match is the skill of your teammates.

Now in 2020 the game has 40k avg playerbase

    Then how much is it?

What exactly do you think would happen when half the games population has to wait for over an hour to get a trial? Would they continue playing, paying money for DLC and cosmetics? Or would they leave and take that huge chunk of revenue with them?

What exactly makes you think SWF teams make half of the community?

Devs stated that SWF teams are only 4-6% of the total playerbase. It is an absolute minority that screws up the MM and overall gameplay.

SWF Teams might need to wait in a seperate mode til a high ranked killer has time for them. And then they would have to be nice, so he might play another game against them. But the other 96% of players can enjoy the game in a normal way and don't have to deal with this much toxicity. SWF players always act like they would make 90% of the revenue, but that's far from the truth.

  • @Kolonite said:

lol they're never gonna let you opt out of swf. Deal with it and get better at the game. That's all you can do.

  • Not sure how "new" this is, but yes, this exploit exists.

  • @LuffyBlack said:

Forced? Could someone explain to me what's going on?

SWF is mixed into soloq rank matchmaking with no info. SWF appear as normal players but often play with voice comms and often coordinated. So killers go from one match where they dominated and maybe even played nice and let the survivors do points or give the hatch to someone into matches where they get speed blinded on pickups by multiple survivors or get locker stunned in every loop. This is highly inconsistend and no fun for killers. In return, you see a lot more mori's, campers and toxic killers in general. This ruins the fun in this game for a lot of people.

MM feels like total RNG and you never actually know upfront what you are going against. Maybe you had a bad experience in the last match, so you weaponize up to the teeth for the next one against a casual or maybe even weak group of survivors who just want to have fun and then get all the dirt they don't deserve. Just because the other group had to be super toxic.

It's a bad experience for everyone and should be dealth with.
