It doesn't take a data analyst or expert to tell you that Clown's changes made very little difference. The best change was the faster reload, and that is a VERY minor change. Y'all wonder why people don't like crossplay. Just played a match against a PC swf team, which isn't usually that bad. 8 seconds into the match see a survivor, go to chase them, first gen pops, a second later 2nd gen pops, 2 seconds later 3rd gen pops. I'm interested to know how all of you think the SBMM will handle swfs of various skill levels cause I don't know if there is a right answer in an asymmetrical game. You can pair them with a killer who is at the average of the swf but depending on the skill difference then one good survivor can run a killer for the whole match. It seems like when i play survivor my teammates are afraid of the killer, my map rng has as few pallets as possible and my team tends to never do gens Typically this results in hatch games, me dying on 1st hook or dying to "lower skill" opponents Regularly due to my teammates seemingly being self care users or just super new to DbD. I absolutely loved the skill checks for the yellow glyphs, and was wondering. How could they incorporate this skill check into the game as a feature? Well the obvious answer you be on gens of course. From the developer update it seems they are only measuring escapes as a win. Does this mean crouching in the corner all game and getting hatch is a win but doing 5 gens and getting 6 unhooks with super long chases but dying is a loss ? Think about it, having it where hitboxes lose collision after 10 seconds of pressing against each other would fix some BIG problems of holding the game hostage and all that. I just got out of a match against an afk killer and 2 of the other survivors blocked both the gates, they only moved after the killer came back. Now what would have made this situation not happen? What's the point? From what I've seen while playing the ptb it's gonna be the chain, the weapon on the ONE killer that you will almost never see from either side, the only time you see it is when he M1s. What's the point of putting a cosmetic on a weapon you'll see for like 5% of the match? So some people's concerns here are mainly based around higher, tougher games that would make it less fun, or would result in them losing badly to extremely competitive opponents. So many people seem scared of SBMM especially when it comes to playing killer, which would mean you often had those chill and easy games (lucky you) but I for one 9/10games versed challenging survivors, while I'm not talking about top 1% but I hardly ever versed survivors that wouldn't do gens or lacked the understanding of tiles etc. While I'm not mad about it, this is a huge reason I'm not wor16 comments 231 views last activity

With the Mmr system, you’re never going to have a chill game if you’re above average as a survivor or killer. Each game will be sweaty and cause a influx of the top killers like Spirit and nurse, because top players won’t really have any other options to when going against strong survivors. Last night was one of the worst nights I've ever had in playing Dead by Daylight. My rank 8 survivor kept facing off against rank one killers, and my rank 12 killer kept facing off against red rank survivors. This game can be a blast to play, but the horrible matchmaking makes it really difficult to have a pleasant experience when you're a casual player.
