Hitboxes should lose collision after 10 seconds.
Think about it, having it where hitboxes lose collision after 10 seconds of pressing against each other would fix some BIG problems of holding the game hostage and all that.
I just got out of a match against an afk killer and 2 of the other survivors blocked both the gates, they only moved after the killer came back.
Now what would have made this situation not happen? How about pressing into the survivor blocking the gate for 10 seconds, clipping inside them and opening the gate myself. This would also fix the problem of the killer body blocking multiple survivors holding the game hostage.
Meanwhile this can still work with killers who excel at body blocking like Leatherface, Hillbilly, and Plague. 10 seconds is plenty time to rev your chainsaw or make the survivor broken with your vomit. The only downside I can see is killers who body block a path to a hooked person to limit survivors being impossible to do.
Has no one at BHVR thought of this?

They have thought of it, its a kind of squeezing mechanic it applies in places like the basement stairs but it isn't applied everywhere since it looks unrealistic and it only applies in few rare situations so its not worth it to rework it to have it be universal
It 100% should be universal. Also who cares if it's unrealistic, you can literally walk through a killer vaulting something by using an add-on on a key or after getting hit. Realism should not hinder gameplay.
I care, it only needs to be in the game in around 0.1% of matches otherwise its useless since most perfect blocks are patched around, it makes hatch stand offs when the survivor has a key unwinnable for killers unless they have an instadown since instead of being able to stand on hatch to block it a survivor will just squeeze through them and open it anyway which means its effects are more likely to negatively impact more matches then they help
