I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. I first started noticing it during the PTB where Pyramid Head got his zoning changes. If a Survivor walks onto a Rites of Judgment trail, the piece they walked on will disappear. Other pieces of the trail will stay as the Survivor walks over them until they leave the trail and stop triggering Killer Instinct, and if they walk back into it, that specifi0 comments 11 views last activity

I just played a match on Grim Pantry, and I couldn't Slam ANYTHING. Everything was made of butter and I just slid off it. Trees? Slide off it. Rocks? Slide off it. Boats? Slide off it. Pillars? Slide off it. I know Blight's collision has always been buggy, but I physically could not bump into anything at all except the crates. Anything without a perfectly flat collision just pushed me to3 comments 41 views last activity

"And here's Victor's pounce ability in action." "Okay, this is pretty cool, but there's a few issues with it." "Such as?" "Well, it's slow, takes forever to charge, has awful hitboxes, for some reason you removed his ability to look up so he can pounce over most objects and actually use the pouncing part of his pounce attack to his advantage, the range is really limited even compared to Slinge15 comments 2,511 views last activity

Most Perks, Survivor and Killer, have their place in the game and are actually solid. Even ones that everyone loves to call F tier meme trash still fill a particular purpose and fill it well. The reason people don't use them isn't because they're bad. It's because they're not Decisivebreakable Soul Hard Timedrenaline Burst or Hex: No One Escapes Ruindyingveillance's Endfury and Chili. Sometimes I'll have memories of a Killer that isn't in the game. He's a stalk-based Killer called the Advanist and he was what got added instead of Oni. He leans and marks like Faceghost, but grants himself new attributes like Myers. He doesn't exist in the slightest, but I have vivid memories of playing as him on Haddonfield and even memories of my friends telling me he's really, really bad. W9 comments 211 views last activity

Victor pounces. I don’t think I need to say anything more. The existence of Killers like Huntress and Slinger means there’s a lot of cool, fun stuff to be done there. And I’m willing to learn that cool, fun stuff. But it honestly feels like the game doesn’t want me to. Let me explain. Imagine you want to practice a Killer with a special ranged attack. You don’t want to win, or get bloodpoints,48 comments 662 views last activity

When you manage to down someone with your ability that is buggy, clunky, slow, extremely high-risk, like higher-risk than nearly any ability in the game, and countered by running around corners, and your reward is someone else walking up and kicking you in the face and there’s nothing you can do about it, and then you respawn as a 115 Killer with no abilities unable to pick up the person you down0 comments 41 views last activity

Why does it take so long to switch to Charlotte? Without Victor nearby she's a 115 Killer with ZERO abilities of any kind. Literally none. She's a Trapper without traps, a Legion without Frenzy, a Blight without Rush. The only special ability she has is the ability to be somewhere that Victor isn't. She already struggles to apply pressure on her lonesome as is. So why, pray tell, is that furthe9 comments 141 views last activity

I just want to point something out. These are the changes made to the Twins from the PTB. Allow Victor to be recalled after having been on a survivor's back for 45 seconds The Twins' Spinning Top add on now causes the survivor to drop any held item when hit by Victor's pounce attack However, if you remember the post they made about the changes that were planned on the release, you might know13 comments 471 views last activity

Quick and agile, you can generate momentum where there is none. Attempting a medium vault while this Perk is active will turn it into a fast vault. Causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds. Nimble cannot be used while Exhausted.6 comments 71 views last activity

This change is going to separate the boys from the men. The virgins from the chads. The society-dwellers from the gamers. The people who make Pyramid Head one of the holy trinity of unfun Killers from the people who make Pyramid Head intensely intimidating and exhilarating to be chased by. In other words: It’s a ranged attack that goes through walls. Just because it’s hard to use doesn’t mean it9 comments 241 views last activity

No Mither, Resilience, Blood Pact, Desperate Measures. Here's why. -Resilience for obvious reasons. -Desperate Measures gives you an extra stack if you yourself are injured. -Blood Pact reveals the obsession's aura to you and vice versa if you're injured. This means that not only do I get the all-around speed bonus of Resilience, but I also have a permanent aura link to the obsession, and si4 comments 191 views last activity

Genuine question. I was sitting to myself thinking about stuff and I came to the realization: As someone who was around when the Halloween update dropped, I have NEVER, not ONCE, not since it was a literal brand new Perk, seen ANYONE in my matches use Sole Survivor. Not even for adept Laurie. And I have to ask: Has anyone else seen it used? I'm not asking if you've used it yourself; I'm asking i15 comments 611 views last activity

Based on the way Pyramid Head's power is worded, it hints at Torment being considered a status effect, but it doesn't have the little red indicator that other effects like Mangled, Oblivious, Madness, etc. have. Does the coding regard it as a status effect or more like being asleep or sick?3 comments 71 views last activity

Not sure what else I can really say. The new Terror Radius music for Billy is so low-intensity and is missing so much. It honestly feels like a rough draft of what the theme is actually supposed to be. I literally had to go onto YouTube to listen to the different intensities to figure out what is what. The "approaching" music sounds like just more "distant" music and the "near" music sounds like10 comments 291 views last activity

It was the endgame. David, who was the obsession, and I were the only ones left. I'd just been looping the Killer while David opened a gate. At this point, I was already injured. When I saw David was opening the gate, I made a break for it. Because I had Blood Pact on, not only was I able to tell David was done with the gate and make my leave, but he could also see me coming and opened the gate e2 comments 131 views last activity

Hello, it is I, the only person in the universe who actually uses Solidarity. Today I found out that this Perk is bugged and does not heal you the correct amount. Now, for those of you who don't know what Solidarity does: If you heal someone else while you yourself are injured, you will heal yourself for half the amount you heal the other Survivor. For example, if you have 25% progress on your h7 comments 61 views last activity

I have no idea what tweaks they made that would cause the pallet logic to be so utterly out of whack, but I have never seen such varied tile strength in all my life. In the past two days alone, I have played games with both the least and the most pallets I've ever seen spawned on Ironworks of Misery in all my four years playing this game. Like, you'll have one match where the number of pallets ca7 comments 151 views last activity

I've noticed this happening more and more recently. I'll be picking someone up or opening a locker or doing any semblance of anything that prevents me from manually moving my camera, and I'll get blinded by a Survivor I can't even see. And by "can't even see" I mean "physically not on my screen". While I have Shadowborn equipped. Anyone else been getting this? It's been happening more and more6 comments 141 views last activity

So, in my Survivor games, it feels like the Ruin rework aimed at addressing the fact that it was so heavily used has lost effectiveness, because I have legitimately seen it in almost all of my games now. And it's not like I go against a Billy or an Oni or some other Killer that actually has a chance of getting value out of new Ruin—No, I'm talking Ruin on Ghostface, on Legion, on Deathslinger...70 comments 1,012 views last activity

So, there’s been a bug stuck in the game for a few months now where Survivors in the dying state will make no noise. It’s been in the game for a while now, since the Oni patch or before, and is very common, happening to me personally about 1/3 to 1/2 of the time I slug a Survivor. I’ve been wondering what would cause this, and a thought struck me: There is one Perk in the game that does reduce yo2 comments 71 views last activity

I think if you instantly heal someone with For the People, it should grant you the Altruism bloodpoints and Benevolent emblem points you would get by healing them normally. As far as I can tell, it doesn't give you either right now. So let's say you heal someone to halfway, getting 250 Altruism bloodpoints and 5 Benevolent emblem points. Using FTP in that scenario should grant you the remaining 20 comments 11 views last activity

Sure, some loops are unsafer. Sure, some maps are slightly smaller. Sure, some god loops are less godly. But I'm really not feeling anything all too different on these new maps. There's some new trees, some areas are differently arranged, but... yeah. Problematic buildings are still problematic, certain terrible loops like the fence loops on Thompson and the awful long debris loops on MacMillan m12 comments 321 views last activity

Now, before we get into this, NO, I'm NOT trying to use this thread as a platform to say that toolboxes have been buffed. I just think it's interesting to note that if you try REALLY hard, you can get a toolbox that will solo a gen faster than any of the old ones could have. It takes a lot of effort, but it is possible. My ideas to fix Deathslinger: Buffs and nerfs to make him more well-rounded and feel better to play.Deathslinger is a tough cookie. Like most of the threads I've visited involving him, I'm going to compare him to old Legion: Not just because he's a 110 Killer who inflicts Deep Wound, but because in his current state, he has two massive, glaring issues. -The first is that, contrary to what most people think, his chase potential is actually extremely strong. Out of all the things this cowboy does and doesn't have, the ability to give Survivors Deep Wound by hitting them with his power really confuses me. Deep Wound is meant to be a stall tool, forcing Survivors to spend time mending so that they can't sit on generators. On Legion, for our only other example, this makes sense: Feral Frenzy is designed to hit multiple people in rapid succession and i72 comments 2,181 views last activity

First of all, let me start off by saying I’m very happy the “Survivors break free more easily” drawback isn’t very heavily felt by this addon. What little breakage it encourages can be offset by so much as a brown reeling speed addon. However, there is one issue I do take with it. For those who don’t know what the Rickety Chains are, it’s an addon for the Deathslinger that grants you 50% more bl0 comments 131 views last activity

Someone said in the comments of the YouTube video that Jake Park's voice actor, Kevin Biossoneault, did the screams in the trailer for Chains of Hate, and listening back, I can see it, but I'm uncertain. It helps that Jake is one of the few Survivors whose voice acting is really good in my opinion, but I still can't be sure. Is there anyone who could confirm if it was Kevin or not?2 comments 112 views last activity

Technically speaking, Michael is wearing a set of workman's coveralls: A one-piece, fullbody uniform with no distinguishable individual garments. His legs are not wearing "pants" since it's all part of one uniform, and the same goes for his top not wearing a "shirt". His uniform is both at the same time, which, technically speaking, makes them neither. So, in other words, if you really think abo5 comments 72 views last activity

I'm not kidding. Unless you have 6 to 8 tokens of Save the Best for Last, the time required to sabotage a hook with Saboteur is shorter than the time the Killer takes to recover after hitting someone while carrying a Survivor. Meaning that unless you have sufficient stacks on this one particular Perk, a healthy Survivor can literally sabo the hook directly in front of your face and there is nothi43 comments 1,732 views last activity

Now, before you grab your pitchforks, I'm not calling Plague overpowered. I don't think anyone in their right mind would ever call Plague anything other than low-to-mid C tier on her absolute best days. But being a weak Killer does not excuse the fact that Plague is, frankly, one of the worst power designs in the entire game—and this upcoming change puts a major highlight on that, I feel. The dilemma of Fixated not giving players a walking speed boost while they are injured is something I've been pondering for a bit now. When the Perk first came out, my immediate assumption as to why that cost was added was to discourage the meta of Survivors never healing in favor of sitting on gens with Adrenaline equipped. However, if this was the intention (which I have no idea what the reason8 comments 151 views last activity

So, a little backstory. Spanish is not my native language, but being someone who went to several classes to learn it, I decided to look for some avenues to practice it or at least keep it from going too rusty. I decided a good way for the latter would be to set Dead By Daylight to Spanish, so I had some contact with the language nearly every day. I set it to European Spanish, since most of my lea0 comments 61 views last activity
