I’m not a Survivor main by any means, but when I do I play Survivor, I don’t like running meta Perks like Adren and Borrowed because I don’t think they’re fun. Most of them have a rather passive effect and don’t really feel engaging to use. When someone says something in a game "hard-counters" something else, that usually means it overpowers the strengths of that thing to such a degree that it's basically useless to the player using it. Undetectable does not hard-counter Babysitter. Against a stealth Killer, Babysitter is not useless. Babysitter is a hindrance. People like to say Babysitter is a weak Perk, but I disagree. Everyone has that one guilty pleasure Perk: A Perk that sucks wee wee and is near-universally regarded as low-tier, but for the sake of fun, or because we think it has potential, or because we just don’t want to be meta slaves, we run it anyway. Now, before you say anything, I’m not saying it’s bad. It’s really, really damn good, in fact. My issue with it is that the music that plays when the Doctor is near or when he’s chasing you are quite low-intensity. The music that plays during a chase doesn’t sound like the music you should hear in a flee for your life. I never really took the time to look Susie’s unmasked model up and down in good detail, so this entire time I just went under the presumption that she was white. Taking a good look at her though, I’ve noticed a couple interesting things. -Her skin tone, though not dark by any means, is substantially less pale than Julie’s or Frank’s. I've wondered for a while what non-horror or non-scary licensed characters would fit well with DBD. Even the least spooky people and creatures in this game have their roots in at least a tiny, tiny shred of horror, with the possible exception of Bill Overbeck.
