I think it's interesting, but personally I'd just leave it as is right now. With a lot of maps being shrunk and weakened significantly, I believe this will have a big impact on how fast gens go now.

In my honest opiniton, the core problem of genspeed lies not in mapsizes, it is rather the inballance between early and lategame.

Many killers are not able to handle the stresslevel when suddenly after his first chase, 2 gens are poping right away. Changing size of the map does not fix this problem at all.

With my idea i want to ballance genspeed a bit more, so gens are getting equaly fast finished throughout the whole game.

SWF are actually really rare. As far as I remember the stats, only 5% of people play in a SWF. So no, it is not more than 90% of red ranks. More than 90% of players are actually solo - that is a correct statement now. And without knowing that the killer is camping (no kindred) they are going to get rekt. Red ranks included. If I see that a killer is camping, I'm going to try my best to gen rush the hell out of him. That does not mean that my team will do the same. Some will feel bad about the person on the hook, and try their best to save them. It is how it is - solo Q gets heavily punished by campers for no reason at all.

That is the issue with the latency, and you will see hits like that until the devs do something about it (which they said they will, but knowing them it will probably take 2 years). However, this was not the point of the debate, so I'm not going to dwell on this topic for too long.

While it is true that Full teams are way more rare then most people think, you remember incorrectly. 5% is for full teams, but you get in most games some sort of SWF, most commonly 2 solo and a duo on average.

Just because people don't agree with you or are disagreeing with you doesn't mean you can just belittle their opinions. Personally I think pop sucks as I have to leave a chase to use it in certain situations. I personally love corrupt since old ruin is gone but I never pair it with pop as to me I either waste a couple of pops because gens popped too fast and no other gen was being repaired or had any repair on it or my corrupt is useless and I dont find a survivor till it expired. People have their opinions and preferences and have a right to express and share them as you do but you don't have to be rude about it or completely disregard their opinion. I understand you like that pair but I personally don't and that's fine, just why can't we be respectful and polite?

Sure, everyone can have his opinion, but if i think someones opinion on a certaint thing is bad its also "my right" to express that either. Thats my opinion on opinions.

No, they don't synergize, corrupt is fairly useless. When the only counter is make them waste it or leave them alone for a minute, it's too strong.

USA south. Get a lot of players from Chile and Mexico.

Corrupt is widely considere one of the best killer perks right now. Especially with those perks in combinition i mentioned, it is extremly powerful. I doubt you have ever tested it recently, otherwise you would most likely speak different.

Maybe DS and Unbreakable are too strong, i am not sure. I would nerf DS a little bit, but that has nothing to do with no counterplay. Just because something is strong or something is weak does not mean there is (no)counterplay. Dont mix that up please.

    Change my mind

Puh, really hard to change your mind on that, because all arguments are relative and depend on your experience you had so far.

Personally i think there is no powerrole at the current state of the game, it is really well ballanced overall. Still, some changes need to be done. Clown is for example a killer who needs a buff, but for example Nurse is still too good and has to be nerfed or even completly reworked.

From a "normal" killers perspektive, lets say Doctor, the game can go both ways. Against a really good SWF team, you will have a very hard time to succeed, but versus 4 solos you have it realtivly easy. Same with maps, some maps are a bit more killer sided, some are a bit more survivor sided.

Statistics showed us, that the game is not survivor sided.

Last but not least, another thing i really wanna mention: Survivor mains usually have more experiecen then killer mains. The reason for that is simple. Every survivor, no matter if he plays Jake, Bill or Nea are completly the same. When they play survivor for 2000 hours, they played survivor for 2000 hours. A killer main, who has 2000 hours has his hours spreaded on possible 19 different killers, which could pontially cut his experience with a certain killer down to 100 hours on average.

Let me know what you think about that.

Hmmm I wonder why someone playing a game to have fun is not enjoying the game when people are literally abusing him in it?

    HMMMM

Yes its a shame that some people try to bully, but what you gonna do about it? I never said its a good thing to bully a new killer, but the only advise for that is to ignore the bully and try the best to get better with Nurse. You got a better advise for the OP?

Don't tunnel isn't a valid strategy every game though. Just like searching out all the totems in a match isn't viable every game.

So why is DS more fair than Noed again?

Who said DS is more fair then noed? Both are fair perks in my opinion, i actually think DS is better then noed. They should nerf DS a bit so it deactivates when you are healed or enter a locker.

Corrupt and pop don't synergize, corrupt is gone and barely does anything. If all 4 survivor run ds and unbreakable, they have 8 minutes of God mode total.

I must be in a region where 75% of red rank survivors are gods. They don't miss dh, and they're all incredibly good loopers.

Corrupt and pop dont synergize? Corrupt is gone and barely does anything? Uff...i guess we are simply not on the same page then.

If you dont go for the unhooked all the time, they have 0 minutes of god mode in total and play with 1 perk the whole game. Again, why do you make this argument when there is an amazing counter and that which is simply "dont tunnel"? And if they want to achieve something with their DS/Unbreakable, slug them, let them waste Unbreakable and get the next target.

Maybe you are in a different region, because where i play (PC EU), 75% of those survivors should not even be in red ranks imho. But i also think we might define "looping like a god" very different. May i ask on what plattform and region you play?

I wasn't referring to the toxic portion itself, such as teabagging, I was referring to the playstyle in general. Where they will all attempt to bait you into chases, weaponize head on, vault spam when they don't have your attention, and so on. Learning to play against that as a baby Nurse, vs normal gameplay, is something else entirely. Though a good Nurse can mop the floor with that, actually getting to that point is the challenge.

Those teams exist, but i dont see any problem with that. Actually it is really good training to get better at chases to play versus people who are seeking your attention.

What is your recommandation for the OP?

  • @Dwinchester said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1236800#Comment_1236800

Not really the same thing. Pop you can switch gens or get right back on it. Bamboozle, you just go to a different loop. With the ds unbreakable combo, there is nothing that can be done, because you don't know its there.

The problem with survivor second chance perks is how well they synergize. Ds, dh, unbreakable, and adrenaline is a stupid powerful combo. It would be like surge, pop, old ruin, and thrilling all working together.

There are very powerful combos for killer that also work together really well. Just look at Pop, Corrupt, Discordance and Thrilling. I would use this over your suggestion any day.

Or if you have trouble with DS and unbreakable combo, toss in Infectious fright. By the way, how to counter infectious fright? Calm spirit? :D

Also, and i can not stress this enough, unbreakable/Ds combo is useless if you just go for the unhooker instead of tunneling the unhooked guy. If you play like this, 2 perks of his 4 are completly uesless, the 3rd has no effect yet and DH is not that great since dedicated servers. You can even slug the unhooked survivor and THEN go for the closest one, whats the big deal?

(before you come with "try that on red ranks", i am rank 1 killer and i play every day 15-20 killer games + playing mainly all killers weaker then huntress, and still win almost every one of those games)

  • This post might be the perfect example of entitlement. Killer mains are whining that a survivor is complaining and they advise him to get better at the game. At the same time, 80% of the threads here are from whiny killer mains that want to have killer buffs / survivor nerfs. How about you follow your own advise?

  • @CosmicParagon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1235605#Comment_1235605

I literally told you: run pallet loops or loop at tiles with 2 windows, only one can be blocked at a time

I didn't say to not do gens, i said to not tap to pause regression. Only repair if the Killer is otherwise occupied.

Corrupt only blocks 3 gens, either work on one of the 4 open gens or hide for 2 minutes. It has literally no other effect and the Killer has 3 perks once it's gone.

And I said its uncommon for non-m1 killers. M1 Killers are braindead-easy to counter, just loop them at any tile. The only Killers that STBFL is considered "Meta" on is Trapper and Demo due to their ability to use their M2 to down the obsession or use traps to potentially double their stacks

Spinechill does in fact have no counter. Good luck walking backwards to survivors without hitting every obstacle on the map. Otherwise use your eyes like I said. Monitor reduces 32M Killers to 24M and 24M Killers to 16M. To my knowledge, Spirit tends to be the only 24M Killer that commonly uses Monitor, and her power is very noticable, so you can simply walk away from the generator. If you don't hear the Killer's TR for an extended period of time at the start if the trial, you should be on guard to begin with, as it means that you're likely to be up against a stealth Killer. If somebody with Monitor gets the drop on you, it's your own fault for not paying attention.

Yes, run to a pallet or to a different window, but where is the counter to bamboozle? According to that logic we could also say the absolue same thing about pretty much any other perk like for example DS - "just go for a different survivor". Explain me the difference in terms of counter.

Again. pop has no counter. Killer hooks, he gets the pop. The only direct counter is "dont die".

Alright so now we are back on the "m1 killer dont need counter because bad" argument. Very strong argument, Trump would be so proud of you.

Monitor has no counter, it reduces the terror radius, end of the story. Use your eyes is no counter at all, since the terror radius will still be 8 meter reduced, no matter how hard you look. Do you realise that you use the same argument for spine chill but for spinechill you want to make your argument work and for monitor you want to make the argument not work? Moving backwards or look sideways is a simple adaption to playstyle to counter Spine Chill. If this is a good thing or not is not up for debate, but if we considere your logic, it is a counter. Monitors counter would be to do a gen that is in the open so you have FOV. Therefore the counter is to adapt your play, like you would as killer vs spinechill.

Dont let me even start with OoO, the counter is already basekit. The killer also sees you. Both sides benefit from that perk. I only wanted to mention that you can even put yourself in a terrible spot if you up against a stealthkiller.

  • @Dwinchester said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1235416#Comment_1235416

Ds and unbreakable together can't be countered. You have to make them waste one. Adrenaline is fine, but noed is it's equivalent. The play a stealth killer is a bad argument since you can't change mid match.

Yes and like i said, there are tons of killer perks that also cant be countered, like Bamboozle or Pop. There does not always have to be a hard counter that makes a certain perk useless. DS is a second chance perk for survivor and pop is a second chance perk for killers if you think about it (both slow down the objective of the other team)

Because there's a difference in learning against a normal team, and a team out to make your life miserable.

Only if you care. What would you suggest instead if he runs into one of those teams? Disconnect?

The best and only solution is to not care if they try to bully or not and simply try to give its best.

  • @CosmicParagon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1235416#Comment_1235416

    Adrenaline:hmm, that sounds mighty familiar...

DS&Unbreakable: Literal invincibility for 60 seconds, not even taking into account locker techs

Exhaustion Perks basically net you a free escape every 40 seconds

OoO: unlike survivors, Killers can't just "play a different Killer". They tend to have a Killer that they enjoy playing and are good at.

If you can't tell that Diversion was a joke I cannot help you

Bamboozle is laughably bad, just use pallets instead, or loop at a tile with 2 vaults, he can only block one

Pop: don't tap gens, the killer can't kick a gen if it's already regressing

Corrupt: Hide for the 2 minutes if you REALLY don't want to fix the open gens

STBFL is uncommon on non-M1 Killers, so just loop them normally

Monitor: Use your eyes, stop relying on the TR to tell you where the Killer is. Or run Spine Chill, I literally never take it off as survivor, because it also guts stealth killers

What are you even talking about? What kind of mindless response was that..

It was about "no counterplay perks". Where is the counterplay of Bamboozle again? Its a bad perk? Amazing counterplay per se wow 200IQ argument.

Or your "counterplay" to Pop. Are you serious right now? Just dont do gens? Amazing counterplay!

Or hide 2 minutes until corrupt runs out? Amazing counterplay! :D

And yea dont forget the counterplay of STBFL... the uncommonly of the perk ROFL. THAT is counterplay i have not ever heard of.

Or Monitor, use Spine Chill to counter it. Like spinechill has no counter... and on top of it, when using perks to counter killer perks, what does it mean for those survivor perks with "no counterplay"? Yes, you can not use those.

You dont even know what counterplay means obviously, so stop arguing or at least think before you write something.

Name one Killer perk that is both OP and uncounterable. I'll wait. In the meantime, here's a list of Survivor perks that are both OP and uncounterable

    1. Adrenawin
    2. DS(jump in a locker)
    3. Unbreakable(run with DS)
    4. Exhaustion perks(admittedly Dead Hard is unreliable at best these days)
    5. Object of Obsession
    6. The Pebble

Adrenaline: Not op at all, they have to run 3 perks the whole game to get it activated, which is not always (mildly said) the case. On top of that, the benefit is not that great most of the time.

DS: There is an amazing counter to that: Dont tunnel. And if the survivor runs in your way, down and slug her. Whats the big deal?

Unbreakable: Pretty much the same with DS.

    Exhaustion perks: Are you joking?

OoO: Play a stealth killer and have a free wallhack while the survivor has no cluse where you are all the time.

    Diversion: lol

"There is no counter" is such a bullshit argument. I could also say where is the "counter" of bamboozle? Or Pop? Or corrupt? Or Safe the best for last? Or Monitor and Abuse? Or Or Or....

  • What makes you think Legion is better the Huntress, Oni or even Freddy?

  • Thats a problem overall with the ranking system. If gens are done quick / if the killer is getting kills quick, nobody gets anything out of it.

On top of that, i think you might be exaggerating a bit. If it is true you have looped the killer for 5 gens, there is no way you are only silver. I do manage to loop the killer for 5 gens from time to time and i end up always iridescent on that emblem.

Simple math, killer is on you for 180 seconds (absolute minimum) and your value multiplicator is probably at 3.5-4 on average. This alone are 700-800 points including starting points, not considering escaping chases or pallet stuns.

Because no one likes to start up a game and go "Oh boy! I can't wait to see how I get my butt kicked today!"

I understand where OP is coming from. You want to learn new killers because they seem fun but some have a large enough skill curve that starting out will have you get destroyed, especially if you get to high ranks with a different killer. I had a similar experience trying to learn Huntress when I got to red ranks as Ghostface. After getting destroyed a couple times i ended up waiting for rank reset before doing anything.

I guess i am an exception then. Versing people who are better then me always resulted in a benefit. Dont let frustration get to you, thats the only advise that is reasonable because devs wont make killerbase ranking for obvious reasons.

    @MegaWaffle said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1235163#Comment_1235163

Actually its best to learn against people a little above your skill level and slowly move up by adjusting your own flaws.

I would learn jack ######### playing Basketball against top tier pros all the time because I don't know if I'm actually learning basic skills because everything I do ends up failing.

That is true in most games and also different things in life, but not in DbD. Why you may ask? Because rank does not mean a lot in this game. A rank 1 could be a decent player or almost a beginner.

The second reason is also quiet simple: You noticed that i used the word decent and not good? Because there are almost no good players in DbD. The skill level in this game is absurdly low compared to any competetive game i have played. Becoming global elite in CS took me some effort, while becoming among the "best" players in DbD was easy. No competition, not enough tryhards. Beeing normally talented and investing a couple of hundred hours should already make you one of the better players if you take it kinda "serious". In other games, you are mediocre at best under that conditions.

  • @emptyCups said:

The most toxic gaming community I've been apart of since League... Idk why dbd is a cesspool.

Since LoL? I dont know about that, for me the throne of toxicness goes to DbD without a doubt.

  • Why do you give a f if it is a bully fest or not? You want to practice the Nurse, so just dont care if you win or loose. Play your game, learn the blinks and expect that you will loose.

On top of that, the best way to practice is to verse people who know how to play against Nurse. Getting stomped as a Nurse beginner is totally normal.

  • Actually i dont care, but if any perk is bothering me, then it is SC. This perk make some people play very selfish, not even mentioning people who run that perk make stupid mistakes when and where to selfcare very often.

  • I LOVE having a challange, and out of those on your list, Leatherface is the ultimate challange you can get as a killer.

  • @xRem said:

This isn't bait or rhetorical, why don't killers have something that compares to keys out of chests? Game after game I keep seeing and then bam, 3-2 people get a free escape because luck.

Why is there no killer counterpart to this?

This is something we can discuss after the (hopefully) upcoming mori nerf.

And "game after game 2-3 people escape because of luck..." argument... you are either very very unlucky or this is bullshit. I have not had a single person escaped with a key since months, can not even remember when it was last time tbh, but it was ages ago.

  • If i understand @Thatbrownmonster correct, this topic is about this bug we apparently still have in the game. I think you were talking about getting blinded or something like that, which is not the case here.

  • @emptyCups said:

now... and this is almost painful for me as I'm usually for every killer buff I can get...

but i have to disagree... flashlights are countered by just looking sideways and you can still swing when blinded... that stun only happens if you really let them lock onto you.

even really experienced players have trouble using flashlights

    I think it should stay

Unless they fixed it (i have not had a situation recently to say they did or did not) you can get chain stunned because there is a bug that wont allow you to get out of cloak. It is ment that you get uncloak as wraith when stunned by a flashlight, but a bug prevent(ed) this. So they can simply stun you as long as they want until they run out of battery.

So yes, if this is still in the game they have to fix this asap, its no game mechanic, it is a bug.

  • @Huff said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1233994#Comment_1233994

I might be wrong on this, but didn't they make a change to where self healing can give you survival points? If so, I think I might have seen a video where somebody was getting mad survival points (like 525) per great skill check they were hitting while healing, but it was with a medkit with the great skillcheck addons. It's a bit more setup than just "Deliverance" but I'm pretty sure that has a lot more potential for points, total.

Oh yes thats actually true. Still, i would not change that build at all and only see it as a bonus to bring in a medkit. Unhooking yourself alone with deliverance is 1500 Bloodpoints, therefore you would need 30 skillchecks / 10 great skillchecks to achieve that.

  • Of course you are right, it is more easy to get bloodpoints when playing the killer, but i think this should stay the way it is.

Still.. there are ways to get a lot of bloodpoints as survivor. My favourite is this build here:

    • We're gonna live forever (obviously)
    • Prove Thyself (double coop)
    • Deliverance (extra points for unhooking yourself)
    • Desicive Strike (extra points for escaping as obsession and extra points for escaping the killers grasp)

This build is also the only realistic way to get max bloodpoints as survivor when the killer is not farming.

  • Sidenote: Recently a few friends and i checked most of them and it is almost impossible to even pick the top 10. Way to much great quality.

  • @CashelP14 said:

Genuinely I think more winners should be chosen. There are too many great designs for only having 1 winner on each side.

If they're in the free part of the rift it would be nice if we had 3 winners from each side. Personally I think Plague, Legion and Feng have some excellent skin ideas and it would be a shame if only 2 winners are chosen.

I cant agree more. For me personally, at least 50% of the created designs are worth a price. Fantastic work by the community i must say :=)

There is no way you get morid 60% of the time. I am a rank 1 survivor and I haven't seen a mori in weeks. Killers never run them because they depip or black pip and most killers like me have an honour code where we just don't run them.

Maybe it depends on the region but for me in at least 2, actually more 3 out of 10 games the killer brings an ebony or ivory mori. Honor code is something that does not exist in EU (Steam Version) for some reason.

  • Every Indoor map and the saloon.

  • Your Carl story makes me think you are responsible for most of the plots on pornhub ;)

  • Where is the "I just die on the hook" option. I am pretty sure this is the most common way to die in DbD.

As Spirit, I use STBFL (non meta), BBQ (meta), A Nurses calling (I think it's meta, I'm not sure though) and Surveillance (non meta).

Lithe always helps me win, since it's really good for preserving pallets. STBFL is amazing as Spirit, and I slug an absurd amount so allows me to down survivors really fast. Surveillance I like to use for tracking gens and survivors, it's definitely one of the best for me.

Safe the best for last is totally meta and so is Nurses calling. Surveillance is debateable.

So i am fairly new at this game. and almost instantly fell in love with it as i have put too much time into it already... but there's something i really don't like about the game and that's this game's Point and ranking system. but its not that if i die fast, I lose a bip.. I am fine with that. if i do die fast i ######### up... And that's fine.

How ever when ever I do really good.. I get 3 gold Medals and i do really well and i focus on Objectives, focus on rescueing people and focus on surviving and helping my team survive.. I get 0-1 Bip, even if you survive...

If i survive a game, doing the objective and rescuing friends from being on the hook I should not be 0 bipped.. this is not how it should work.. when i take Objectives ALL over the map and get 2-3 generators with COOP and some cases and some Saves i shouldnt just get 1 bip, i should get 1 bip.. If we survive and maybe 2+ people survive that should be a BIP..

This game Punish people That play the game the way it was originally intended. And it rewards players that Lose the game on purpose.. because if you rush in and you do stupid saves and your team Goes down... It doesnt matter if you Kill all 3 of your team mates by doing this, but if you save them ALL over and over, guess what you get a bip... and since your close to the killer, you get chase points and points in general.

The main objective of the game is Generators. Without anyone doing them, the guy looping the killer won't get out alive.. But when you focus on the MAIN objective of the game and you stay stealthy and you get 2-3 Generators and 0-1 saves because everyone on your team tried to save the hooked people.. you BARELY and sometimes DON'T Bip even when the Game you played is as perfect of a game that the game tells you that its intended to play...

Stealth points and "being in the Zone" of the killer should get boost in points. The fact that you need 4 perfect medals to even BIP is so stupid... Sure tell me what i can do better, But don't tell me I don't deserve a BIP because i had 3 Red medals and 1 Silver medal because the killer did NOT have to chase me as much...

First of all i want to mention that i am not defending the ranking system at all, i just want to explain it to you really quick.

The ranking system is more or less a "entertaining system" for the Entity (check the lore for more informations on Entity). Fast and quick games like killer gets everyone fast before gens get done or survivor just rush games are NOT rewarded with a lot of bloodpoints and pips. The best way to rank up (and to get more Bloodpoints btw) is to have long games where a lot happens.

Now jump into the ranking system itself for survivor.

Survivor have 4 categories, so called emblems:

    • Lightbringer (repair gens)
    • Unbroken (stay alive / dont go down)
    • Benevolent (help teammates)
    • Evader (avoid or run the killer)

For every emblem there are serveral qualitys which give you points:

    • No Embleme (0 points in this category)
    • Bronze (1 point)
    • Silver (2 points)
    • Gold (3 points)
    • Iridescent (4 points)

After every game, the system adds up all points you earn for every category. Lets say you have Iridescent in "Lightbringer" (4pts), silver in Unbroken (2 points), Gold in Benevolent (3 points) and Bronze in Evader (1 point) you would gained 10 points in total.

These 10 points will give you a pip or not, depending on which rank you are. For example you need 13 points to get +1 if you are in red ranks, so there you would not gain any pip. But if you are in Yelow ranks, you would get +1, because there 10 points are enough to get the pip.

Last but not least, lets talk about how much you have to do in every category to get which quality of emblem. Keep in mind that rank does not effect this at all, rank is only relevant at the end on how many points you gained. Its not harder to get more points but you just need more points to rnak up in better ranks.

Lightbringer: This is mainly generators, but also totems. You also get points for long chases for passiv progress (your teammates do gens and you run the killer - you also get 1/3 of the points the got). A fully done gen by your own gives you 100 points.

To get the best embleme, you have to do 2,7 generators. Gold = 1,9. Silver 1,0 and the rest i dont know :)

Unbroken: If you leave the game without beeing downed a single time, you get Iridescent autmatically. It is also the only way to get iridescent on that category. Ifyou get only downed a single time, you can only make gold, not better, no matter what happens. Otherwise it depends on how long you are alive. If you die within the first 5 minutes, you get no embleme, from there on the longer you stay alive, thebetter your emblem becomes.

Benevolent: It is a bit tricky. You gain points if you unhook a survivor, but you loose points if you dont do safe unhooks (survivior gets downed within 10 seconds after the unhook). So when someone is "farming" a sruvivor of the hook, the only gets bloodpoints, but he is also loosing ranking points the same time. To get the best embleme, you need 3 safe unhooks. But also 2 safe unhooks and tanking a hit for your teammate is good enough to get Iri.

Evader: There are 2 possibliltys to get points. Staying hidden when the killer is close or running away from the killer for a long time. The longer you can escape the killer during a chase or you can stay hidden, the more points you get. The closer the killer is to you, the more points you also get. Per second it is 1 points, but if the killer is very close, this could be even 6 points per second. You loose points if you get hit. Usually, if you run or hide from the the killer fo 3-4 minutes, Iridescent is very likely.

I hope this helps you to understand why the system works how it does. Again, i am not defending it, but thats the way it goes. Good luck and have fun.

Being a famous and skilled streamer doesn't mean that he got 116 4Ks in a row as Plague. Now if 100 people actually did come forth and confirm that he did so and they witnessed it, it would be a different story (although a practical impossibility since the chances of a single person catching 116 of his Plague games in a row without missing anything would be unlikely let alone 100 people doing it). However, only 2 people have suggested that's the case. And you make a stupid alternative like "did he make all this up on youtube or is it simply true that he did it?" when he didn't even make it all up on youtube. All he did was a single video of him playing a Plague game saying 116 4K streak as Plague. And there is absolutely nothing simple about getting 116 4Ks in a row so both sides of that question are stupid. You're wildly dellusional if you think this is a "simple killstreak".

Btw, I actually did find his Freddy killstreak videos. And while they actually do provide more evidence, the timing on them makes it suspicious as all hell. His Freddy kill streak involves 9 4Ks in a streak over the course of 69 days. While it is possible to do this since it's exclusive to Freddy and he can just play other characters during other points, it's incredibly unusual to split out a "streak" over such an excessively extended amount of time. It's provides all kinds of time for selective choices, editting, and all other kinds of things to raise suspicious over the streak's validity. He's clearly only doing it for his fans and not to prove anything, otherwise that's a questionable choice. Btw, if he did his Plague streak at the same rate, then it would have taken over 889 days (2 and a half years) which goes further back than the Plague's release date.

The only solid proof you've provided so far is proof that you have absolutely no clue what solid proof is. Fungoose is definitely a highly skilled player. I can see that from his gameplay for sure. But even highly skilled players would find it to be a giant struggle to get 100 4Ks in a row. While there is a possibility it can be done, there's definitely no solid proof that he did it. Though with his methods of separating streaks between killers and only attempting the streak during select games instead of in a row, it's more possible his way than the standard way.

Alright then, believe what you want to believe.

Old ds could be countered out by dribbling and enduring. This one has no counterplay whatsoever. What dont you guys understand about that? Old ds would extend a chase by like 3 seconds because of enduring. Not to mention the old skill check was alot smaller then this one.

What do you mean by "dribbling"? You could do that with the obsession sometimes (not nearly always, especially not when versus a team), but my point was that all 4 could have run DS and dribbling those was impossible.

Also Enduring was not really a hard counter, the survivor had more then enough time to get to the next pallet/window

I'm not disputing FunGoose's streak at all, but I will absolutely dispute how meaningful it is. He is a professional DbD player with nearly 10k hours. This is about as relevant as saying an NBA player beat average college players 200 times in a row in a game of 1v1. Citing full time streamers as any sort of balance metric is a fool's errand. I wouldn't expect the average hobbyist to make auto repairs even remotely as fast as I can, because it's what I do every day as a job.

    Quote Dehitay:

If you can actually get 100 victories in a row with 3 or more kills at rank 1 with valid proof, I'll lobby alongside you. I'm surprised nobody picked up on this borderline impossible condition. I'm perfectly ok with saying if you can pull that off, let's nerf killers somehow. If survivors could get 100 4 man escapes in a row, I would definitely want them nerfed.

After i delivered solid proof he jumped on the Illuminati conspiricy train, thats the reason we still have a discussion going.

Fungoose has 7K hours, and he is a very good player obviously, but on the other side, there are also good survivors with the same ammount of hours on the record ..or even more. Its highly unlikely that he was not running into 4 man tryhard squads in almost 120 games who have at least the same experience then he has. And he still managed to 4K them - with No addons / offering Plague...

According to some here, its impossible to beat those groups, and according to even the majority here, killer mains run into SWF groups on daily basis.

My point was to just show that it is in fact possible to beat the best survivors over and over again, if you are just good enough.

But as you say, we should not balance mainly for the best of the best, but rather more for experienced but not highly skilled players. Still, it leaves a sour taste, since you have to imagine what this will do to those killers who already dominate without those upcoming killer buffs.

Unbreakabill. One lets you have a slightly faster vaulting speed in chase & counters stealth, and the other gives you a free health state.

You dont need something like "health state" when you know how to use spine chill ;)

Which perk is better? Spine chill or unbreakable? And why?

    Spine Chill.

There are so many reasons why spinechill is better, i just name a handful.

    • Gives you awareness of the killer
    • Gives you extra 6% on everything
    • Gives you a great tool while looping a killer where LOS is blocked
    • Is always useful, while unbreakable only shines from time to time
  • Number 1: Plague

    Number 2: Clown

    Number 3: Myers

Just looking for suggestions on a good build for nurse. I've just recently started getting into her and would like some ideas on what works well with her. Feel free to explain your set up to!

    Shadowborn

    Infectious Fright

    BBQ

    Whispers

If you somehow can life without Shadowborn, i would use Nurses Calling/Monitor/Deerstalker instead.
