I want to say two but I'm not sure if it was because they were a good trickster or just a good killer.
could be both?
tbh to be able to win with trickster you need to be good as killer, if you aren't you'll be awful with him

I hope you'll face a realy good one eventually

They are rare since to everyone eyes trickster is the worst killer, which in great hands, he isn't at all, far from it

on console? i'd love to see that match, I wonder how a good trickster looks like on console

I'm a rank 1 Trickster main and I get compliments from survivors from time to time. So ty if I've faced any of you out there.
But when I play survivor (rank 4) I notice a lot of Tricksters I've faced just don't throw knives which just baffles my mind.
whenever I play against a trickster there's 2 things that comes to my mind, ez game? or please be a good one finally
never got the second one yet :(
I don't main trickster YET but I might since once you play him really well he gets enjoyable

If players tried trickster very seriously, they would see he isn't E at all, not B for sure, not but E

@JimbusCrimbus said:
You can not be proven wrong. Dead hard is basically technician for looping. It's for babies, but yet, seasoned survivors use it and act like they're outplayed killers by hitting E.
you described it perfectly, I think the same 100%
-
@FrostySeal said:
I agree, Dead Hard is an incredibly stupid perk and if I had the power I would most certainly nerf it or rework it into something else entirely but it's not just for bad survivors. I've seen really good survivors use this perk and it makes the already really good survivor players just that much more better in the chase. Because of how powerful it can be for distance in the hands of a good player they can make the chase last way longer for the Killer and get themselves out of bad spots where they would otherwise get hit.
If anything Dead Hard is for good players. There is a massive difference between a bad player using Dead Hard and a good one. But overall it doesn't take much skill to use, it just complements a good survivors looping skills.
good survivors using dead hard can be a nightmare

Bad survivors don't know how to use Dead Hard though
That being said, relying on dead hard to do well is a detriment to one's skill - I do agree

When I've been playing killer I've had alot of hits lately that I've been like "That hit? That doesn't feel like it should've hit" 😬 On bright side I know as survivor there's been plenty of times I should've been hit and somehow wasn't so guess it evens out? 😂
I remember i'Ve once hit a guy who jumped of a house window and somehow I've hit their head and only their head, it was all that was visible, and i've watched the streamer afterwards and he was pretty much half a meter of the ground

It’s a cool idea but I think revamping totem spawns in general is a cleaner solution.
would be if the devs would actually work on those things

That could work if DBD also introduced a general 'set-up' phase of a match start. You know pick your Hex spots, set up Hag or Trapper Traps, et cetera.
you mean like RE resistance, but we all know for BE it would be extremely too much work and if they wanted to work on it now it would take them 3 years to do it

Considering I was giving recognition to the newer spots in old and new maps that have been introduced lately, but still acknowledged that some spots still sucked...
Yeah, I think I'm pretty confident in my words.
I rarely get good spots, and when I do, it's the other killer

Am I alone in thinking they're doing a good job with totem spots lately?
Even in old maps, they seem to have added new spots that are kinda crazy.
Here's one that blew my mind in particular:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/JJAWYSCCQD0A/dat-totem-though.jpg
Though some spots do suck still, I admit that.
---
More on-topic, I wouldn't if killers chose the spot too much. Don't know how it would work but I can't think of a reason why I'd mind yet, as long as it was from a list of pre-determined spawns so they didn't try to bug it.

I once won a game in 1 minute with this build, got 2 while they were exposed and chased the other, they last one gave up tbh but this build is nasty

I think the grab should exist if someone uses a key. If they jump in while its open fair game, but if they open the hatch in your face you should be able to counter with an interupt. Just an IDea .
I agree, even if the survivor have a key, if the killer is on the hatch first the killer should win, end of it, if the survivor have a key and the killer is not around they win, but if the killer is next to them they should grab
-
@ill_Boston_lli said:
you moved off of the proc point. You had it. She couldn't open it until you moved.
I moved back into the middle, and we can see she clearly opening it while being 100% in front of me so I was blocking it, she jumped into the hatch while getting into me.

Adding more things to legendary skins to make them more unique would be a fantastic change. However, that would require more effort and money spent on Behaviour's end. As such, they ain't doing that ######### I'm afraid.

The spawns suck they shouldn't spawn right next to any objective imo, last match I literally spawned on top of the killers ruin which should never happen because I know if I was in the killers shoes I'd be hella salty about it.
I can relate
-
@RealKamakaze said:
Here's a better question should survivors have a chance of spawning directly next to the killer?
Also I see people saying that all the survivors should spawn together but my only argument to counter that would be a Legion who gets a massive advantage when all survivors spawn together.
for only 1 killer I don't think it's a big deal
-
@VispeR said:
You can say it in every killer, they all have weak side. Not only on Legion.
it is true but at least legion can injure everyone quickly if they aren't too far, so this gives him a advantage on other killers with this build in that aspect

Could also try iridescent Pin. Breaking pallets by vaulting them counts towards spirit fury. The goal then becomes getting hit by a pallet right as you land a hit in FF. The stun with enduring is less than the cool down of coming out of your power.
I played around 10 games with this build and I think only 2-3 pallets were drop during my FF, so it wouldn't be worth it too much

@Magikazam said:
You got it wrong, Reason why survivor get tunneled is because of their teammate. If they don't heal, bring BT, or take protection hit, there little unhooked survivor can do. Assuming the killer can quickly get to the hook you can't run to far away and your blood+noise will make you unable to hide. if you run away the scratch mark are a thing.
Sure it not the killer fault, but it not the fault of that one survivor who got saved then his team dipped away
I know, there's a lot of factors, but it's most of the time the survivor fault if this happens because of what they do as soon as they get unhooked

Yeah it can often times just get called something out of rage and tbh this game has one of the whiniest communities (on both ends) I've ever seen really. I guess it's just the natural division between killer and survivor mains since the play is different despite it being the same game. Other games have their toxicity but not so much whiney
that is very true, dbd is the most entilted community I know as well

I think maybe it comes across a bit angry and not as informative as you would like. Really it's more about you trying to say that it's not really tunneling which in this case I agree with you but the extra bits can be a bit deterring from your point. But if that is the whole idea then yes you should get unhooked and run tf away and either get healed or work on a gen far away if you can't do that. Or carry inner strength and cleanse a totem to help yourself and prevent NOED
exactly, but for most survivors it's too ahrd I guess and they go straight on a gen and the killer arrive 10 seconds later and omg he's tunneling!
btw I edited my post.

Considering the written monologue you posted I think you feel pretty confident in your stance. It's typical of someone who mains killer or survivor to just disregard the other sides objectives for their own gain. Survivors are gonna keep doing gens because it is the objective for them. Killers are gonna hook for the same reason. The issue with tunneling in the end is just pure sportsmanship. It's a friggin game and shouldn't be taken SO seriously. Both sides need to just be made OP so it all evens out and whatever happens happens.
yes I feel confident about my arguments but I know it contain flaws, and yes the gens are the objective but if you go work right on it as soon as you got unhooked and the killer comes back 15 seconds later it's not tunneling, you stayed there working on this gen instead of getting away and heal, that's my argument, and it's very true sportsmanship really affect the way the game will go, I myself sometime let them go on purpose since I know they couldn't do anything all game, but I get them next time I see them, some people don't care about the sportsmanship in this game, but I just wanted to make some survivors who will really often call killers tunnelers that they really didn't do that at all.
And about the balance, since the DS nerf, not gonna lie, joke aside and forget the tunneling, the game is extremely more balanced, if killers play fair and survivors play how they should, not having 1 minute of immunity to work and get back up with unbreakable made the game extremely more healty imo, I don't tunnel as much as I once did, but if I see the unhooked survivor still injured working on a gen, I go for you, makes sense and it's the right thing to do.

You say "educate" but just because you made a long post about it doesn't mean you are 100% correct. And if you want better manners then maybe don't go on the forums and complain about something trivial. So who really needs to move on here?

You sound incredibly entitled and like a brat. I play both sides and I can say that this whole community is full of the whiniest people possible. Have you considered maybe just shutting up and moving on? Yeah it can be the survivors fault but what you are doing here is simply trying to bash a whole side to this game because you're mad someone called you out on tunneling. Maybe you tunneled and maybe you didnt but either way there is really no need to get on the forum and just complain just cause. Try logging off the game for a while if it makes you that mad
I am not mad when called out for tunneling because I know I didn't, I try to educate here, and I also do in end game chat when they call me that, but looks like you are too stuck into believing what you wish that you can't understand the simplicity of my post, maybe you should move on and work on your manners.

"I have 3k hours in the game" lol congrats? Plenty of us have more hours and can say that what you are describing is not "tunneling" but as said before just a case of the bad luck. BT and DS are not even strong perks to go up against since they have been nerfed to hell and really a tunneling killer will get you anyway. The one that sounds entitled here is you since some survs really handed it to you in the post game chat which is really a you problem and not the forums. Happy tunneling :)
you wish I was entilted, sorry for trying to make survivors understand they most likely are the reason the killer go straight for them right away, go play "superior #########" elsewhere

But u said if they do gen if u have real tunell vision at them they won't be able to do one so I jumped to conclusion when u said to do gen that u actually left them for short time my bad
I said that if you get unhooked and go work directly on a gen and the killer comes back it put you at high risk since you worked which means if you had DS you no longer have it and you are 1 hit compared to the others who are 2, it's your fault for working and not healing, the killer going for you because you comfirmed to the killer you don't have ds and you didn't heal.
-
@justbecause said:
I think u misunderstood what tunelling is, it's downing survivors right off of hook not if they doing gen or whatever that's not tunelling it's just bad luck u got found again tunelling is straight of hook when surv has no other choice sure some call it tunelling too but I don't see it tbh
I have 3K hours in this game, I know what I am talking about, what you said is about a farmer, the true tunneling is attacking the unhooked as soon as the animation is done and still go for them if they have BT and still go for them after DS, this is the ultimate tunneling, if you get downed instantly after the unhook you got farmed.

I had a match today where what I can only presume was a 2 man SWF (they were trying to protect each other from EVERYTHING, they were both Claudette, and both wearing the same outfit), unhooked within 3 seconds of me leaving the hook.
They were both injured at that point, so I hit the one that ran TOWARDS me (to be fair; I did come from a different direction than I left, so it may not have been deliberate). Turned out to be the unhooked 'Deet.
Of course; they called me a 'tunneler' in the end game chat. Because Survivors who whine about valid tactics are entitled children.
oh you just unhooked when I am right there, you expect me to leave you both? I really don't understand why you do this and think this

place traps in the middle of loops unstead of placing them in the middle of pallets and windows, take advantage of what they can'T see instead of making them see it right before they step on it, making them think the loop is safe since they most likely look at you while they run away on the loop.
Use corrupted intervention to give you a free 2 minutes of set up time without 1 gen done, take advantage of at least 30 seconds-1 minute to place traps in the middle of loops far away from the survivors to make sure they don't see you placing them, once you placed at least 5-6 traps you can start hunting survivors, if you only placed 2-3 traps and there's a survivor in front of you fairly close and you can give a hit, do it but ignore them afterwards, go back and keep placing traps, if you spend your early time chasing instead of placing traps you have no power at all, trapper is a mid/end game killer, not early, the early game is your moment to set your defenses.

My guess is that all the killers you mentioned have a power not directly damaging survivors; they hit their target with a normal M1 attack (after reeling, blinking or phasing).
Blight's lethal rush hits are different from M1s, though. His lunge duration and speed are different, and more importantly his lethal rush hits'hitbox and collisions are unique (~180 degree cone, 0 collision with objects allowing you to slide while lunging). Neither of these is obvious visually, as it looks like a M1 hit, but in fact it's not one.
Makes lots of sense, thanks for the explanation

BHVR could at least implement proper interpolation for survivors so they see the killer closer to them when they have high ping.
but we all know it's never gonna happen
