Nope, they don't. Lethal rush hits are considered M2 hits, and thus neither of those perks work.
what a shame :( nurse count as M1, spirit count as M1, deathslinger count as M1, but not lethal rush, why?

Nah. BHVR just can't code a game which is playable with a match full of 40ms ping
at first it was p2p, this is why it's in that state

It's lag/dedicated servers.
Ive had survivors starting the carry animation from a grab and suddenly they just yeet themselves off as if nothing happened.
It's been incredibly rare to get a grab for years now.
sadly it's true

what will occur is that survivors will be encouraged to split up vs legion but suppose legion lands 2 consecutive hits, the 3rd person just has to camp any pallet and wait for Legion to swing, during his recovery, just drop the pallet(preferably unsafe) on his head to end his feral frenzy preventing the 4th person from ever going down. Legion will rarely ever get to activate his blood drunk to get downs but he force survivors to waste pallets.
this was how you countered old legion with frank mixtape, you camped pallet so that when he hits, he can't second-hit you so now it takes 3 feral frenzies instead of 2, 4 without add-on, loop the 110% killer.
I don't know, legion is not very good so I think he'll take any change he can get that makes his power impactful in any form.
This is what should happen in the best scenario, but the best scenario doesn't happen all the time at all, and the more and more the games goes on the less pallets there will be and such, this is just a idea on how to make him power be lethat by rewarding injuring every survivors, since he has nothing at all to down a survivor with his power, would be something he could have while not being too strong, it will require effort for legion to pull it off
-
@Raptorrotas said:
Im not really into legion but the devs just recently added a mechanic that might be useable for Legion:
Let's give them the Laceration effect on frenzy hits instead of ( or additionally to) Deep Wounds. And throw in a 20-30% attack cooldown bonus.
Legion always has been the stabby stab guys and girls, so we could make them the 3-4 hit killers again.
Obviously a controversial idea, maybe even bad 😅
I don't think having a system that would be somewhat like old legion is a good idea

@Pulsar said:
Short answer? Latency.
Long answer? Due to Dedicated Servers, the Killer and Survivor connect to one Server. As of right now, when the Server reads a grab has happened, it will defer to the Survivor-side. This is also the reason why Killer gets Hatch priority, to my understanding.
I knew about the hatch priority, so I guess since we have the hatch survivors have the priority over grabs

Information between players cannot be relayed instantaneously. When you get hit 1.3 meters from the killer realize you were not 1.3 meters away on their screen.
I know about that, but it's bs that it hits you when it shouldn't even less if they "made" a system about it

Remove EW1. It serves no purpose since the Spine Chill buff. There's no excuse for him having such a weak early game when killers like Ghostface and Oni exist.
that's why I said he will be immune to those detection perks, like he should be really during tier 1
-
@gibblywibblywoo said:
It's a cool idea, the problem is it wouldn't make Legion any better.
Anyone with a brain knows you defeat LEgion by splitting up and holding Shift W the second you hear/see them Frenzying towards you. It's incredibly easy to waste a Feral Frenzy by looping around an object when they've already used close to 50% just reaching you.
That's why I added the movement speed buff for each hit, making it way easier to hit multiple survivors even if they split up, and this isn't meant to be something that will happen every single time, it's just to give the "opportunity" to down someone with your power if you managed to injure everyone with it.
and I am glad you like the Idea

First, as someone who mains Michael I don’t like this notion of “we need to change this killer because someone else showed up that does what he does, but better”. We need killers who are also fun and unique to play as and not just by allowing them to easily use their power. Besides, his power should feel different than Ghostface (as I assume that’s who you are referring to) I like that they don’t feel the same. Ghostface is suppose to be more sneaky whereas Michael is not trying to sneak up behind you, he just stands there and stalks.
Michael is a well balanced killer because he has to work for his T3 and it feels rewarding to do so when he is able to utilize it. So I wouldn’t mess with his base kit at all. I think it’s fine that there are perks that can counter his T1, they are forced to bring a perk after all. So I have no issue with that.
You are changing his base kit meanwhile merging his add ons which is what I personally think could use some updating. Not the other way around.
There is a reason why Michael still to this day remains a killer who is actually both fun to play as and against for the majority of the people (in my experience) His power is potent and lethal enough, but survivors can keep him at bay if they are smart, without completely taking it away.
everybody talks about Myers but no one mention amanda :(

I don’t think you understand the complaints about it. It’s complained about because it can delete a survivor from the game, without hooking them. Discarding it after already killing a survivor doesn’t change its impact.
I do understand it, but there's 1 thing survivors always seems to forget, there's lockers to counter this, you look at Myers hand when he tier 3 if possible and you know if he has tombstone or not, but i'll change the effect of the add-on

@th3 said:

"Tombstone piece: discard the add-on once a survivors has been morried"
I don't think you understand what makes this addon broken.
it's not that you mori 2 or 3 survivors. it's that you delete someone from the game 1-2mins in without hooking them.
I know, at least it's only 1, the fact you can mori just before tier 3 is over means you don't have the mori penality in the stalk meter so you barely stalk 5 seconds and you could mori again, with this change it's 1 mori no matter what

In solo queue most survivors will usually just opt to get 3 out and leave 1 behind to NOED.
If solo queue survivors don't outright cleanse all 5 totems in anticipation of NOED then they probably aren't going to risk trying to find it and break it after it has activated.
That's something coordinated SWF will do. Maybe around Rank 1 solo queue survivors will attempt it as well but it's simply too risky to try and find the totem and be altruistic I mean think about it in that situation you're probably going to hand the killer an easy 4k
fair enough but damn it's so annoying
-
@Boss said:
It isn't the Bear Trap, it's the Survivor model being slightly wider than we can see.
Totems can move your model a bit to put it in a more secure space so as not to maybe clip into stuff.
The moving of the interaction got your model just close enough for the BT to think you're on it, so it sucked you in.
That's my theory.
would make sense, still extremely unfair in my opinion tho

Think of it like "locked in an animation" kind of thing.
"Btw as soon as you start cleansing you position yourself in the middle ie where the trap is."
What this fellow said.Like when you open a chest,you might click to open from the side but it auto positions you in the middle.
I see...

but my body didn't even change position when i started cleasing, and my right leg was FAR from the trap as well

When healthy, they have breathing audio. When injured, they no more have breathing, only moan.
Ironwill remove the moan. Makes injured survivor completely mute. I find its stupid as well when healthy makes more noise than injured.
I think they should replace moan with breathing if you equip Ironwill, in return decease the breathing down to 50% or something.
it should be easy to do really, being healthy trigger the breathing audio file, being injured trigger a different one, iron will should keep the breathing audio, not remove the audio, i really don't see how this is hard to patch, it's literally changing what audio it trigger to another one.
-
@MadLordJack said:
Hopefully soon. It's never felt fair that survivors can have no audio clues in a chase. I abuse that so much I actually look like I know what I'm doing. Which, well, I guess I do if it works. And it works.
would work really less if the killer could somewhat hear you breath while you run, with the chase in the background it's really really hard to hear footsteps alone, the breathing is slightly louder than the footsteps and honnestly needs to be patched, survivors breath at all time, iron will only stops them from making pain sounds
-

Oh no, it's often worth it to chase survivors. It's just that you don't need to get the to leave, say, a long-wall jungle gym. You can easily and relatively quickly down them just by walking at them and knowing how to perfectly time your knives. Every corner is another couple of hits.
yep

They waste time. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
I know, i can tell when it's absolutely not worth it to chase a survivors in certain tiles, sometimes i literally see a survivor 14 meters from me on a really safe tile and i am like no ######### this and go elsewhere, you need to play him smart

Yeah I feel bad for them sometimes because they get no kills or maybe one hook. Plus, so many solo players I play with do dumb things at the gate,,, I am really like just leave.
I do feel bad for them as well, since a bad trickster is extremely easy to bully compared to any other killers, I don't bully, but I make sure they chase me long enough but eventually I am like, please leave me already you are losing the match
-
@MadLordJack said:
Trickter isn't a very fun killer to go against for most people.
But also he really isn't weak, he has a hard cap on his upper chase timer if you're good enough. And he is deceptively simple, you just throw knives real good. No mindgames, just knives.
you can still do some plays to mind game survivors to make them leave their high walls in hope to get them with your blades or fake movements to get 1-2 blades if you can, there's things that can be done

Exactly right. Had a match the other night in Lery's and I heard the sound the Trickster was coming and was like cool. Any other map I would be like "crap" lol.
I've never had a good trickster yet, I only had a "okay" one, which was barely a 5/10, still no kills, he just started to understand how he worked, I want a good trickster, and yea I still once got 3 kills and 2 hooks on the survivors in lery's, i only did 5 health state in the whole match with showstopper, it's a nightmare for him
-
@BrokenSouI said:
People get sore anytime they lose. I had someone wish I got cancer. Just because I was using freddy. And that was after his nerf.
As far as trickster. I don't even feel like he's the worst. To me that's trapper all by himself. I've seen some nasty plays by trickster. That trapper could only dream of.
he isn't the worst but he's the best of the worst, still needs big changes, but your skills really matter with him since if you don't play amazingly, you simply lose with him, so getting 4K 90% of my matches in rank 1 even if the MM is broken, means something
-
@sesawyer3127 said:
There is no reason to trash talk esp if you win. I play solo and when I come across a Trickster most know how to play him now and he is pretty deadly. Key is still getting distance and putting objects in between you and him. In some maps like Lery's thats easy but other open maps not so much.
Lery's is a nightmare like it is for Billy, Trickster is extremely map dependant, the better you get the less bad it gets, but it's still a big factor.

I've played against some decent ones and some have dropped countless players. I've also played those that spend about 10 minutes trying to throw blades over tyre stacks and walls.
Suppose people feel a bit sore after being beaten by the weakest killer in the game.
So far i've only played against 1 "okay" trickster, still haven't good a good one that will get 4Ks, I hope I will eventually.
"I've also played those that spend about 10 minutes trying to throw blades over tyre stacks and walls." that's usually every trickster I see or they never use their blades at all

Pallets are reverted back to before. You'll get stuns again but still get hit through them again.
Unfortunately vaulting at all speeds is now broken. You grunt upon vaulting, alerting the killer if they hear you, regardless of speed.

@dezzmont said:
I think the core issue I have with trickster is the deviation and recoil on the knives. Any change that doesn't address how terrible they feel to use sorta misses a big problem with the trickster: He isn't just weak, he feels bad to play.
Like... the fact you just do not consistently hit survivors at very close ranges even with perfect aim is a complete dealbreaker for DBD. Its identical to a lot of the problems the early guns in Deathgarden had, which made the gameplay feel miserable from the hunter perspective. But, of course, the problem is once they get accurate it turns out the gameplay of running from a guy with a machinegun isn't interesting.
So I think maybe the core concept of trickster is broken, and the way you would fix them is... well basically make plague 2.0? Which they already have a lot of similarities too, but its ultimately the same concept, a 'spam' ranged attack on a character who can't use it to burst down a kill but who can use it to supplement regular chasing fundementals.
it's true removing the recoil would be a very good thing
-
@legacycolt said:
The laceration meter not decreasing over time would make him too strong since it’s pretty easy to hit survivors with the blades.
it is also easy for the survivor to dodge them and to block line of sight, trickster keep most of his weaknesses with these changes.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Overall some great changes but I’m unsure about ricochet. It could lead to a lot of accidental or unearned downs since it isn’t consistent enough to be strategically used
lot? if you get 1 accidently down with it per game I consider it luck
but I am glad you like the changes

@piggygooik said:
seems pretty good but I doubt they'll buff him anytime soon especially to this degree since the devs might think he be to overpowered
doing a big big change or rework usually take years or many months with them, instead of a few weeks,
glad you think it looks good, on paper it might sound powerful but he still have most of his weaknesses, but just the fact the laceration meter doesn't decrease anymore is already a massive buff
