What's scary is despite all the tools they keep giving survivors. I can one day picture the devs cleansing totems for them -.-
I mean what's funny to me is most people who argue that "NOED should be removed" don't cleanse totems or do anything to counter NOED they just think whining on the forums without a legitimate change or better counter to NOED will get it removed.
Personally I think it should be so everyone is Exposed yes but you get a speed decrease or possibly just make it so it spawns on the map at the start of the game like Devour and you get stacks for doing something in game making it not only rewarding but so fair people can't whinge on the forums about it "rewarding killers for playing bad".

No it really doesn't mate if your so bad you can't get kills with current NOED you should go back to playing Minecraft.

Me personally, I hate it. I hate everything about it.
Okay fine, I love its graphical design, but that's about it.
Look all indoor maps are pretty bad, survivors can't find generators, some killers either become super overpowered or unable to even M2 and they're pretty much just there to look good instead of be played well. This map is utter garbage the amount of dead ends and narrow corridors with no pallets is unreal and finding generators is like trying to find water in a desert it's annoying, boring and messy. Considering there is no DC penalty I DC most times I play this map just because it's not fun to play on and I play to have fun. Sorry to all Resident Evil fans but this should never have been made into a DbD map.

5 games in a row I had a killer who went around slugging everyone and then just left everyone to bleee out. The next 3 games after that the killers I faced all face camped 1 survior all game. Killers are intentionally trying to ruin games to make people quit right now and the devs do nothing about it. Something needs to be done
Look although I do not condone face camping, tunnelling or slugging in any way in my opinion if your getting these kinds of killers lots then your clearly a low rank player now I'm not saying your bad but your clearly around rank 20 - 13 which is where I find most salty face campers. I mean if your allowing a killer to get an easy 4k by camping that's your fault because your not gen-rushing the killer while he wastes his time tunnelling and camping, not taking protection hits, not using Borrowed Times or Decisive Strike. If you are really this bothered by those things you can't really complain unless you do everything in your power to counter it. Just my opinion.

So then you agree, gen rushing is not a thing and is just simply a matter of being outplayed. Just like how if you lose to a camping killer, I.E. a basement Bubba, then you all got outplayed as well? A killer can only win the game off of kills. So if you guys just tally-ho the basement knowing there's a camping Bubba then it sounds like you played the wrong tactic when you should've just done more gens or if you're the one who got caught by the Bubba then maybe you should've loopee him better and you wouldn't have been camped? =)
Just like how you don't care for the killer's feelings if he gets gen rushed, then why should the killer care about the person's feelings who's being camped? See, I can do this too and make dumb excuses for killer losses and depips, and point out cheap tactics on the other side. The difference is, when I get my ass destroyed by a 4 man SWF death squads, I don't come on here and cry about it. The most I've ever cried about is how broken matchmaking is, pairing me up at rank 12 against red ranks. That's about the extent of my crying, and then I go take a breathe, get over it and move on with my day. It's a game. Stuff happens and it's not always gonna make you feel nice, especially when it's a game that has PVP elements. So long as neither side is legit cheating, and if they're using what is available to them and everyone else in the game, then it's fair play.
Yes except the game is designed so that you get 3 chances on hook isn't it? If you don't patrol generators or use anti-gen-rush perks then that is on you, you were outplayed. Looping the killer for 15 minutes then getting knocked when every pallet on the map is gone or when your team mate gets in your way only to die on your first hook is not being outplayed your supposed to get 3 chances on hook unless everyone else is dead.

That's...not how that works though and makes no sense...
By that logic then killers also need something done about gen rushing that doesn't rely on perks like Ruin or Pop. What do you think? Make it so that if survivors are just smashing gens and nothing else then they get minus points for it? Oh! I know, how about every time survivors flashlight spam then they bust the light bulb in the flashlight, essentially breaking the item? Or better yet, how about for every teabag the survivors do at exit gates, killers get an automatic Blood Warden effect where if a survivor is hit they can't exit and they now need to run out and lose the killer again? I mean their objective is to escape right? If you're out there dicking around and taunting the killer, then you're not really doing your objective. Why are we rewarding such toxic gameplay like that?
So I'll tell you what. We can remove camping, force killers to just go out and chase survivors constantly, but then if survivors hang around exit gates and teabag or click spam, then we penalize them too. That sound like a fair tradeoff to you?
Yeah it does I have 0 respect for survivors that do any of those things and I only do them myself if the killer is toxic. If I see my team mate T-Bagging the killer I either leave him to die or I farm him because I don't respect it, without people playing killer I can't play survivor. I also have a lot of respect for killers because they have to deal with the unfair matchmaking system that BHVR designed. However if your a killer who uses NOED, if your a killer that face camps or if your a killer that tunnels please stop complaining every time a survivor clicks his flashlight, you were toxic towards them so they are gonna be toxic towards you.

So then we can also do something about killer depips if survivors just gen rush and don't interact with the killer? I mean why should I have to suffer if the enemy team just rushes the game and essentially just whoops my ass?
Well I mean if your good at playing killer then you shouldn't get gen rushed. Also doing generators is something survivors actually have to do to win the game sitting in front of a hook ruining one person's entire game just because they're good is not something you have to do it's something you choose to do because your bad at the game and put about as much skill into it as I do eating my breakfast. If your getting gen-rushed by sweaty survivors that's not their fault that's matchmaking's fault they're only trying to have fun playing the game just like you, so you shouldn't go out of your way to ruin their game because your salty.

NOED and Facecamping toxic? Lmfao
I mean NOED is what bad killers use because they either get looped by one guy for the entire game or are literally unable to stop generators from being popped. The goal of the killer is to kill survivors yes but they are also supposed to prevent generators being done now giving the killer a perk which only activates when they have failed one of their objective seems stupid to me. Honestly I think NOED would be better if everyone became exposed at the cost of the killer became slower. Obviously though some nooby NOED gamers will be sat there screaming at the thought of their precious NOED becoming fair for survivors.
Face camping in my opinion is bad for the game because when players get face camped it's usually because they have looped the killer for an excessive amount of time, so in summary you are punished for being good at the game. As a rank 5 survivor this has happened to me so many times and I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to loose a PIP point because you can actually play the game. I also think face camping is bad for the game because lots of new players do it and while doing this at higher rank the killer doesn't learn the basics of countering survivors looping, patrolling the generators and learning how to play the game in general, this makes matchmaking even worse than it already is encouraging more killers to DC frequently and in my opinion I don't blame killers for DCing because why should they play a game where they are placed against red and purple ranks at rank 15-20?

This should never be a solution to something that's part of base gameplay. Perks should be there to amplify certain aspects of the game, not to make up for a lack of a built-in solution. There needs to be a solution to camping that does not rely on something special. This is a sign of bad design. I'm not saying make DS baseline or anything, but there needs to be at least a single option to counter it without needing perks.
Yeah I agree or something should be done so that you don't loose pip points for getting camped because it's a little annoying when you loose pip points because some toxic 9 year old camped you on hook.

Borrowed time, Camaraderie, Decisive Strike, Deliverance, Kindred.
Many of those do not stop camping or tunnelling though and killers still just target them. Something needs to be done to guarantee camping is discouraged. However in my opinion the developers do not care and as long as people keep buying Ghostface to camp with no Terror Radius they won't do anything to stop campers.

Freddy has very little counters objectively, that's why he has the highest kill rate in the game. Killers are designed with 2 things in mind. Anti-loop and mobility. Some killers have just anti-loop and no mobility like Pyramid Head and Deathslinger, and some have all mobility and no anti-loop like Legion. Freddy has both and he's amazing at both of them. His blood pools can be guaranteed death if the Freddy is patient enough and can also teleport to any generator he wants. There's a reason he has the highest kill rate in the game by far and even the devs stated he was overtuned and needed a nerf. Most people also find him boring to play as and against, he's just in general a really toxic killer.
Yeah totally I think you just don't know how to counter him because I do ok against Freddy players and so do most red ranks. Look your probably just not good at looping Freddy and that's fine I am terrible at looping Spirit but I don't sit here telling everyone how Spirit players are toxic and how the killer needs a massive nerf.

I love NOED and i run it when i see 2+ toolboxes. It's very balanced since survivors can counter it in 2 ways, 1 adrenaline, 2 totems.
Well then your clearly not very good at the game are you. Anyone who uses NOED is planning for failure and I don't respect that, the goal of the killer is to stop generators being done and killing the survivors in the process not letting every generator get done and then quickly killing everyone. Also totems aren't really a counter for NOED because not many people are gonna spend all game looking for totems and find them all while doing the generators. The fact that you use NOED makes you think you are around rank 13 - 20 and you only started playing the game a couple months ago.

It's not my approved list lol there are just some things that are more overpowered than others. Freddy for example has a 75% kill rate in the average red rank game. Meaning that even an average Freddy will get 3 out of 4 kills in a typical red rank game. Most people don't play Freddy because he's that fun, he's objectively unfun having an uncomplicated kit, they play him because they know they can get 3/4 kills every game especially with builds that make it even harder to play against. Those people are toxic, specifically going out of their way to ruin games and not even have any fun in the process, do you not agree with that?
Well playing a killer really isn't toxic have you ever considered you just don't know how to counter or loop Freddy? You can't just say something is OP without an actual reason. I do fine against Freddy players.

No, I think you're making a lot of assumptions to call things toxic. Someone playing a killer that they want to play is not toxic. Survivors using meta perks is not toxic.
You obviously have a personal list of things that are not okay because there's definitely not an official list.
If something's in the game, it's not toxic to use it. I don't get why that is so hard to understand for you. Just because YOU think something is overpowered and YOU think using that thing is toxic doesn't mean it is
Stop making excuses. Accept the game for what it is, not what you think it should be.
I mean some stuff is pretty overpowered though you have to admit, for example Iridescent Head and NOED. When it comes to killers I think the killers are either pretty balanced or underpowered. When it comes to toxicity I don't think using Iri Head or NOED makes you toxic it depends on how you use them although I have little respect for anyone that uses NOED because to me it shows that you are planning for every generator to be popped which is planning for failure.

If you've simplified it to just that I don't think you've been playing the game long enough to understand why people actually play Freddy.
Look lots of people are going to say "(insert killer here) is overpowered because of (insert reason here") just because they can't loop the killer I mean when I just started playing I said Michael Myers was overpowered but these days I just see a Myers and laugh with my Spine Chill, The point is your going to think something is overpowered and has no counters if you don't know how to counter the killer and luckily most killers do have counters, the only killer I personally would say that needs a slight nerf is probably Spirit and that's because I literally have no clue how to loop her and believe me when I say I have watched every single YouTube video possible.
-
@Lucent said:
Is it toxic or just a lot of really thin skinned people as far as gameplay goes? I think it's the latter.
In my opinion the developers did encourage the toxicity initially by not providing filters in chat but mechanics will always be abused regardless.
An example is there isn't a good/friendly reporting system i'm aware of. Overwatch was toxic when it first came out, devs there added a mechanism to easily report game chat and took it seriously, now it's not as toxic or so i hear. I haven't played in awhile.
Early on in Dbd it just felt like the devs here encouraged that toxicity and here we are. So for me, that is where their responsibility for this atmosphere lies.
I played Friday the 13th which is similar and shamefully now dead but it's community was fun. The atmosphere was different, it was actually enjoyable for everyone. The difference with that I think is it wasn't competitive, no ranks, no consequences per se, just a group of gamers having a good time.
Couldn't agree more with things such as Moris, Keys, NOED and Iridescent Add-Ons they are to some degree a GOOD idea but fact is they can be abused far to easily. It also doesn't help when developers come out and make ridiculous comments such as "Camping is a legitimate strategy" The developers should encourage players to get better at the game while also making it enjoyable to do so but I don't see how loosing pip points when some 9 year old camps you is fun for you or the killer. I feel like I am missing the point? Obviously it's there game and they can do whatever the hell they like but to me it just seems stupid that you would encourage players to make the game worse for other players.

Most of the pvp games I played are full of toxic people but I see people calling everything toxic nowdays.
If the killer is not bm'ing a person on the hook, just staying near it doesn't make them toxic. If you don't like something it doesn't automatically makes it toxic.
Yeah and I fully agree with that if your entire team is right next to you while your on hook I don't expect the killer to run in opposite direction like a complete idiot I expect him to try and kill my team. This is honestly one of my biggest issues in Dead By Daylight though because there is always that rank 20 that sits there not leading the killer away and getting me face camped.

Did you not read patch 4.7? They nerfed Iri head.
Iri Head is still insanely overpowered I think personally it should only 1 shot someone if they are a certain distance away so you can't just walk right up to the survivor and throw a hatchet right in their face. Same with NOED a tiny speed decrease is not nerfing it it's just pretending like you give a ######### about what your community is telling you.

Really so you would say a Huntress using NOED and Iridescent Head camping basement isn't toxic? Or a Ghostface who sits in basement T-Bagging you just because your actually good at the game isn't toxic? Or a survivor who sit's t-bagging at every single pallet they can find on the map isn't toxic? Look your entitled to your own opinion but I would call doing stuff like that toxic.

Yeah but like what would be a good killer in dbd out of all the antagonists? The Governor and Negan both just look to normal and you could pass them off as survivors. The only character I would say that "fits" is Alpha or Beta with the skin masks.

The way I see it, I think the Walking Dead is decent material for another paragraph DLC. Almost exactly like how Bill Overbeck was introduced by himself from Left 4 Dead, maybe they get a representative from the Walking Dead the same way.
Although in the grand scheme of things, I don't see a single license on this list being very high priority. I'm just saying out of the options provided- The Walking Dead seems the most realistic.
Maybe BHVR should focus on fixing the games matchmaking instead of new killers and survivors.

for only 1 killer I don't think it's a big deal
Well that's my point if all the survivors spawn together and it's not a Legion a generator can be popped in 20 seconds possibly less. I'm not saying there should be 0 chance you can spawn together but at the moment their is like a 50-60% chance you will spawn will the other survivors. I think you should only spawn with other survivors if you use one of the offerings because that means that the offerings will actually do something because at the moment they're pretty useless considering you will probably spawn with someone else.

I mean I watch The Walking Dead but it's not really scary is it. The scariest thing as of recently would be the Whisperers and they were more just unsettling and creepy rather than scary. Either way I don't think the Walkers or the antagonists such as Negan would fit in Dead By Daylight.

Playing as a killer it happens quite a lot that the first gen is already done in the first 30-40 seconds even when I already got a hook, but 1 hook in the first minute vs 1 gen, it's nothing at all.
While playing survivor, it happens a LOT I spawn with someone or more and a gen is 2 meters from us, making us work on it instantly and maybe finish it before the killer even show up or we commit to it and that's 1 gen done in the first minute.
I think on both side is it unfair since if 2-3 survivors spawn next to a gen they already start doing their objective and can possible already do 20% of their work without a single pallet dropped or even 1 hook, pretty much making the killer start the real match with 4 gens instead of 5.
Obviously it doesn't happen every single game, but most of the time it does.
Of course you can use the argument of "use corrupted intervention" which is totally valid,
but Should survivors spawn apart slightly and slightly away from gens? just to at least make survivors take 7-10 seconds to get on a gen alone or maybe with someone instead of starting 1 gen with 2-3-4 survivors right away?
Here's a better question should survivors have a chance of spawning directly next to the killer?
Also I see people saying that all the survivors should spawn together but my only argument to counter that would be a Legion who gets a massive advantage when all survivors spawn together.

I actually think the hitboxes are fine as they are, it's either latency, 'aim dressing' (auto-aim) or sometimes hit validation that messes it up. The Matchmaking thing they have recently talked about, since MMR is likely coming very soon...To the fear of many, like myself.
I don't think BHVR is necessarily intentionally ignorant, but I'd levy the blame on the fact they refuse to budge on their sticking to a chapter release schedule and refusing to dedicate a chapter to actually improving the health of the game. They do midchapters here and there even though they introduce more problems - like the pallet bug and even the de-sync issue.
AND even with their content schedules, we haven't had a new map since Pyramid Head. The last year's anniversary killer. Kinda shocking. We've had map reworks sure, but it's not 'new' content it's old content remade.
All of the current remodelling/rework stuff they are doing is likely because of next-gen consoles.
I mean hitboxes when it comes to windows and pallets. Getting hit from the other side of a wall, although amusing sometimes is not funny when your playing to win.

(IMO) They only responded to Trickster as quickly as they did because of two reasons:
- One of the developers said on a livestream it would 'take a while' before changes were made to him despite PTB and even Live feedback. This was like pouring gasoline on a flame, bad idea.
- Trickster's reception was lukewarm and they needed to draw more people into it
PTB's seem pointless at this point though, because they're previews of content rather than tests. Sometimes things are changed on PTB, sure but it's not the norm that this happens. Trickster was weak on PTB and somehow even worse on live according to some.
And when I say 'something internal' what I mean is I imagine they've had some kind of shake-up to prevent miscommunication or to stop them making promises they can't keep.
I mean either way I feel like they don't give a ######### to some degree considering every bug I report seems to get passed as "one off" when it's happened again and again. I mean how long have they been saying they would fix matchmaking? How long did it take to "fix" hitboxes? (even though they are still broken). Like I said I think BHVR would rather have us pay more money for cosmetics and characters than fix their game. I mean I could list issues with DBD endlessly because of how ignorant BHVR are. They clearly don't care about the player base they would put more effort in if they did.

Well, considering that they get ######### on most of the time, I can understand why they stop communicating (and as far as I know, they communicate in their freetime). Communication is a privilige, not a right.
Once again I feel like these are all excuses. If most big games with a decent amount of staff can communicate well with their community why can't BHVR? I mean if your telling me that you have never once doubted the intentions of the creators of this game then your honestly pulling my leg. I remember it took 4 months for the developers to fix the bug where survivors were still grunting after they died on hook.
-

The biggest problem right now is the lack of communication, I'm of the belief something internal has led them to stop communication with the community as much. It still happens but not as much as it used to. Their priorities are seemingly around new content rather than fixing what's already there at times but credit where credit is due - they responded to the complaints about Trickster moderately quickly in BHVR time.
It didn't take as long as it did for Blight's POV to finally be what it should've been on release.
Also their seemingly tendancy to give a tacit 'okay' to people using exploits still baffles me a bit.
Still though they only responded to the Trickster issue because it was all people were talking about, every other issue gets swept under the rug as a "one off". Buffing a killer and listening to the community every once in a blue moon does not deserve respect and I don't think they should not be given credit for it because most other games manage to listen to their community why can't BHVR? Also I don't think something "internal" has happened that stops them it doesn't take much effort to read through the forums, read some tweets or watch some YouTube videos.

This is a thread for you to share more pleasant moments from DbD, to remind us all that toxicity isn't all that there is. I'll start.
I'm not sure who the killer was playing, but long story short, I was destroyed by them early on. I think the last survivor got the hatch.
I checked out their profile, as I usually do when I'm killed off early to pass the time, and saw that they had played "Ori and the Will of the Wisps", the sequel to "Ori and the Blind Forest". These are games I've been curious about, but never really tried before because of all the promotion surrounding it (the more something is promoted, the less I want it and the more I suspect it's utter crap).
We ended up having a nice conversation about the games. I asked them what they thought of it, to which they gave the games complete praise. I explained that I wasn't too much into platformers, but they assured me that wasn't an issue because the game was simply incredible and I'd barely notice it.
I haven't bought either of them because I'm saving up for a new everything (GPU, CPU, RAM, motherboard) and still want Cyberpunk 2077, but I'll probably be checking out the first game when it's on sale. Worst case-scenario, my BF will love it.
What are your wholesome moments?
Well it was late at night and it was taking around 20 minutes to get into a game as survivor so I played killer instead to pass the time. After a couple matches (all unfair against sweats) I went against a SWF all using flashlights. These kids decided to gen-rush, t-bag in front of pallets, constantly flashlight save and click the flashlight. Clearly these kids have no respect for people that play killer so I DCd and do you wanna know why I enjoy that moment? Because they waited 20 minutes to get into a game and be toxic for nothing. They had to wait another 20 minutes because they had no respect for the people playing killer. Respect the killers, I always do because without them the game is nothing.

This game has not become pay to win... Get outta here with that.
I, too, have been playing since 2016. I own every version of DBD, including Switch lol. I own all of the DLC on 2 consoles, and most of the DLC on the others.
I can survive, or 4k a match without any perks. If you've been playing since 2016, you should be able to, as well.
Hate to break it to you but this game if something increases your chances of winning greatly and you have to pay for it then it's pay to win. Either way though that many Iridescent Shards for a ######### character is actually ridiculous it's a CHARACTER! Now I understand with the licensed killers such as Ghostface and Mike Myers it's different due to the licencing but cmon it's still a joke with characters like Clown and Hag being 9000 Iridescent Shards. Also can someone explain to me why things don't transfer across platforms like DLC? The developers claim they haven't worked a system out for it yet well I think it's so they get more money of players. The developers behind this game are DODGEY period. I mean then again it's pretty clear to me the people that make this game are worse at coding than Yandere Dev considering they can't fix hitboxes, matchmaking, animations, sound effects, pallets, tiles and even the currency is broken so it doesn't surprise me if they can't code something literally every cross platform game developer can do.

Two of the three best Killers in the game (Nurse and Huntress) are free, and the third can be accessed with shards (Spirit).
The majority of meta perks on both sides are available on free characters (Meg, Claudette, Jake, Bill, David, Hillbilly, Nurse, etc).
The majority of Chapters don't contain game changing perks or Killers, and are there to provide variety. Licensed Chapters are paid only for legal reasons, there's nothing to be done there.
This game is far from Pay2Win. Sure it costs a lot of money to get every bit of content in the game, but the universally agreed best Killers and Perks are available for free.
You are forgetting that Hex: Ruin although free on Xbox is a DLC you have to pay for on PC (Despite buying the game on Xbox and PC). BBQ & Chili another really good perk you have to pay for. Decisive Strike which is literally one of the only perks to counter tunnelling and you have to PAY FOR IT! No it may not be P2W but it's pay to have fun, you throw $20 at the game and your chances of winning do increase without a doubt.

I might be alone on this opinion, but if we have 2 or 1 gens to go, there is somebody being chased who is on death hook, the others on 2nd hook or death hook as well, and yourself with not being a hook, you should definitely take the hit and try to help the person on death hook. Power in numbers and even if you haven't been hooked the likelihood of escaping after somebody is dead decreases heavily. Just a tip.
The amount of times I have been looping a killer only to find out my team mates has been sucking each other off in a corner it's like actually annoying. Not to mention them team mates that let you do all the work while they hide and then when Exit Gate is opened they leave you for ######### dead despite the killer not camping and not having NOED. There are also them that leave you to get to 2nd hook and their excuse for not getting you is "gen pressure" when they literally did 1 generator. I mean I once went against a team of people that left me to die on hook against a Nurse who wasn't camping when it was my FIRST HOOK! Nobody was even dead ffs. Then there was a Dwight who wasted a pallet when killer was trying to tunnel me, 1 million IQ right there. I actually find it funny and there are literally no consequences for these types of players not even the toxic ones that sit t-bagging on hatch while your on hook dying and that's because the developers couldn't give a flying #########.
Look if your gonna play a game that involves teamwork be a team player or I just insta-dc or kill myself on hook when your next to me so the killer kills you it's really simple.

I still don't even know what you are claiming to be the problem
but if its getting hit while on the other side of a window while being right next to the window that has been in the game for 4.8 years so I think if it was a bug by now it would have been patched
and no bringing devs don't care doesn't make your argument suddenly right, making an actually argument against the mechanic would and even then you stood too close to a window and someone took advantage of your bad positioning so I can't see why that would be a bad mechanic that should be removed instead of just looking at it as an opportunity to play smarter
Like I said I wasn't close to the window I was not positioned right next to it he literally just hit me through a window.

You can hit through a window, it doesn't act as a wall as long as his little arms can reach over it, even if you aren't vaulting it he can swing over the window and you can get hit over the window if you stand close enough
Well in my opinion that shouldn't be happening but hey it's not like it will ever get fixed if it is a bug because I am like 90% sure the developers don't care about fixing the issues in this game. I mean matchmaking is a pretty simple concept for a game this size but still as a rank 12 Survivor I end up against a rank 5 killer and a team of rank 18-20s. But hey what do I know I am just a survivor that feels like a terrible human being every time I see a rank 20 killer against a rank 4 because this game cannot grasp the concept of matchmaking.

No, actually.
The window is still an empty space, and killers can hit through them easily. I've gotten a lot of free hits against survivors who think that they're invincible despite the fact that I'm less than a foot away.
If you know the killer is close to the window, just stay away from it.
Also, I think I might have been that Wraith. I recognize your username, and I've been playing him a lot more recently.
Well the Wraith I went against was toxic as all hell despite being literally the worst Wraith I have ever gone against. I looped the poor guy for a good while until my team got to the last generator and I was knocked (this was mainly due to me getting injured on the other side of a window). I mean in my opinion anyone who is a Wraith main is probably a little bit toxic. Seriously every high rank Wraith I go against usually uses a nice anti-gen-rush build, they camp everyone on hook, they tunnel literally everyone and then as a just in case they sprinkle on some NOED for good luck. So usual Wraith build I see is Thanatophobia, Hex: Ruin, Surveillance (or Tinkerer) and Hex: No One Escapes Death. Hey maybe I am just really unlucky and go against Wraiths that like ruining the game xD.

Windows are somewhat special in that they are both a wall and open space. While you can’t walk through them, killers are allowed to attack through them. If they couldn’t, not only would it make them lose a lot of hits, it would cause problems with characters like huntress or deathslinger who can shoot through them.
There is also the fact that the survivor basically needs to be right next to the window to get hit through it, making them only likely after vaulting a window.
Once again you are missing the point. The window is an in game tile and as far as I am aware the only way you would literally be able to hit someone through a window would be if you and the survivor were directly next to it (which I still think is unfair) but the thing is I wasn't I was in the middle of one of the short corridors on Backwater Swamps house thingies (I don't know what they are called). My point is there is literally no way he should have been able to hit me.

if you want a concrete answer on a problem you can't discuss the problem in abstract terms it just doesn't work that way
Survivors getting hit through windows are relatively common since dedicated servers and is slowly being addressed as servers get better and the extreme high ping situations are being addressed with hit registration, however for the foreseeable future this will stay prevalent, better find a way to deal with the annoyance from it now since its gonna stay for a while
Right I don't think you understand me here. I didn't even vault the window nor did the killer he was on one side I was on the other so ping was not the issue, delay wasn't the issue it was down to the game being designed a certain way. If this is not a bug a developer needs to come out and say that it's not because otherwise there are only two possibilities either A the killer was hacking (which is doubtful because my friend did the same thing) or B the games designed incorrectly.

Just to clarify, are you saying that being hit through a window is the issue? Because saying that you got hit through a wall is makes it sound like two different things happened.
Well a window even if you are on the other side is still supposed to be like a wall but you can jump through it and through to the other side, if you were hit through a window it would be the same as hitting someone through a wall considering the in game tiles are the same size.
