Except I'm not a Killer fam, I've already provided enough evidence to you, whether you acknowledge it or not, that I am a Survivor. And actually, when he called me out on what I said, I admitted to my incorrect statements and rectified it. 3/4 meta perks and 1/2 meta add-ons is still a meta build fammo. You'll have to excuse if I haven't played this game in over a year, aside from a few matches about a week ago, and my lack of a good memory.
I should've been more specific on that so apologies but if you look at certain killer mains on here my point stands.
No worries, we all human.
And what are you talking about? I have also already acknowledged that Scott can win 20 games in a row if you read my other comments, but Scott hardly "demolished" the Depip Squad. He just barely got the pip when the last gen was activated. That isn't a demolishing game, especially against no-perked Survivors.
Ok so he didn't destroy a pro team but the video is stupid as an example.
Not really, I'll explain why.
And this match proves exactly that, Killers can capitalize on Survivor mistakes, but even when doing so you still need to sweat in order to get your pip off. I actually never said Scott played bad during this match, he actually played well to the best of his abilities.
So a pro caliber player having to work their ass off against other pro caliber players is a problem why again? If he was playing against bad survivors or even average and struggled then it'd be different.
You have to take into consideration that again, they were running perkless. This is without DS, SC, Dead Hard, or other various perks that make playing Survivor much easier.
And that is further one of my points, that he sweated and still barely got the pip. I think you guys seem to be missing the point entirely here.
No we're not missing the point ehre, it's just irrelevant considering the talent level he was facing, you're trying to justify that video by using him playing against equal talent and having to work hard.
Equal talent that was intentionally handicapping itself to prove that perks are unneeded for Survivors to be successful in this game.
As far as the incorrect statements about @ScottJund 's loadout, I was incorrect as well as my forgetting of the Victory Cube. But this game is still prime example of the issues at hand, and I will still be relaying this information (along with the fact that if this match was in current Emblem System, there would have been no pip earned by Scott
)There's no denying there's issues at hand what's the issue is that you and others are blowing them out of proportion to justify a false narrative.
It isn't out of proportion though, as I've said previously, the game needs to be balanced around the top level Survivors and Killers. As it stands, there is massive disparity in the amount of effort each side has to put out to be victorious.

I normally don't.
But telling someone to kill themselves over a game? I get camped i dont care. I get tunneled i dont care. I get trolled like pinned by the killer but they wont kill me? I have a laugh.
But to tell someone to kill themselves is something i can't stand. If i entered a group because somone wanted to message the killer to that? I will instantly tell them stay away from the game report and block then.I may be a bit.. Overzealous? But over a game, you shouldn't do that
why do you care? Are you suicidal and such statements motivate you to do so?
It doesn't really matter. You should have the common human courtesy to not tell someone to go kill themselves.

I mean it is technically a legit strat, it just isn't viable. Camping aside, it still only takes 160 seconds to repair all 5 gens with proper coordination
True and if people stopped rewarding it so much killers would stop doing it except for the dedicated ones that just want to watch the world burn.
I do wonder how much camping skewers the survival statistics at each rank same as dc's on both sides along with crashes.
If people would stop going after camped hooks, the stats would show the game is heavily stacked against Killers. Along with the dc's and crashes, I got no doubt the Kill stats would be a lot more accurate. Choosing to go save a camped Survivor shouldn't be taken into consideration for balance, as that is a personal choice of the Survivor, optimal strategy is to just repair and escape instead of risking more loss to the Benevolent Emblem. If people simply left the Survivor, the kill rates would plummet. There's always that one dude who tries to save against campers (usually that's me, but I don't blindly run in there like some do).
You're wrong , because at higher ranks it's not gonna go down the way it does in lower ranks, survivors will either do all the gens , or bait you and then BT save their buddy , you end up with nobody at that point. Anytime it's a leatherface, wraith , or pig camping you know to just gen rush and not be a hero because LF can take out multiple people and the other two can cancel BT with their already built in mechanics and no insidious included
A Killer that is dedicated to camping, i.e. one that refuses to leave 5 feet away from the hook, is impossible to save against. I'm sorry, but if the Killer wants the guy on hook dead, he's dead. You can't BT bait anymore without trading yourself out on the hook, and this goes for every single Killer.
If the Killer wants someone to die on the hook, it's 100% going to happen as long as he isn't mentally inept.

Tru3 chased and tunneled one single survivor for 2.5 minutes without perks/addons. It takes 1 minute and 20 seconds for one survivor to finish one gen. He knows that and even told people to not chase a survivor for too long if you have no ruin. Is this thread some kind of a joke? This isn't gen rush. It's just him ignoring his own advice. 3 people basically didn't notice the killer so of course they're going to work on gens. Now take 3 people and 2.5 minutes. Of course they'll finish 4 gens. That's the result of not letting the survivor go. I never chase for too long if I notice the chased survivor wastes too much of my time. That's how I usually surprise people on gens resulting in quick hooks.Except letting a Survivor go just results in them either Self-Caring, and forces you to track down another Survivor. Tru3 didn't know at the time the guy didn't have perks, so why would he risk the self-heal?
I mean it it only takes around 20 seconds to Self-Care. If you keep dropping chases, you'll never get anyone. And if you aren't playing a high level Killer like Nurse or Billy, you really can't afford to drop chases at all, especially Doctor. He excels in long chases. So what this comes down to is Doc is just trash.
This is just further proof of certain Killers being absolute trash. Balance of the genrush aside, there is legitimately no effective way for any Killer not Nurse or Billy to be able to patrol and make the Survivor lose ground.

You''ll find that person you're responding to is like quite a few of the biased killers on here, they spout nonsense and then when called change their story and still spout nonsense.
The newest thing they do is use the killers are human and make mistakes excuse/deflection yet if the killer demolishes like you did then it's different.
It becomes well the survivors were potatoes not that the killer played better ignoring that they just claimed killers playing badly were human and made mistakes. So if the survivors make mistakes it's not because they're human but because they're potatoes.

Jesus how are you this misinformed on EVERYTHING. It was even harder for killer to pip during the patch those games took place
Holy ######### I forgot the terrible Victory Cube even existed smh. I removed that ######### from my brain is was so terrible lmao (I think I need to put down this green stuff I got besides me right now).
Judging on your performance that match you still probably wouldn't have gotten more than a Safety with the current ruleset. With all gens completed, that's a no emblem in Gatekeeper, you would've gotten a Gold in Devout for 2 Sacs and hooking all Survivors, possibly a Bronze but likely a Silver in Malicious (you didn't get many hits overall, there were healed off a few times) and you would've gotten around a Silver or a Gold in Chaser. It would have required you to get Iridescent in at least one of the possible categories you scored in, or all 3 Gold Emblems. I would actually like to go and analyze that.
So actually, although I was incorrect about what system was in place, you were actually still saved by the Victory Cube in terms of your pip. So in actuality, it is harder to pip NOW than back then, at least in certain circumstances based on what happens in the match.

Gonna copy/paste what i said in the other thread:
Don't forget that the depip squad played when the game was different than it is right now AND most of the killers they faced were bad and/or made several mistakes.
Tru3 DID make important mistakes and was running one of the worst killers you can run without perks and addons in a big map. If game was balanced towards that kind of situation don't you think it would be broken if he was running perks and addons? Besides, i think he got 4K with other weak killers like Freddy. Probably because survivors made mistakes too, and that's fine, because mistakes should be punished. So are you saying ScottJund is bad? Cause they demolished him.
Mistakes should be punished, but when you have to win entirely on your opponents mistakes, you cannot win if they play perfectly, which isn't very difficult to pull off in this game unless you face a godlike Nurse.
What? They didn't demolish me? I won.
You went 2-2 against a team of Survivors that weren't using any perks, while you were using a sweat build with Huntress on Grim Pantry.
I wouldn't call it getting demolished, that's a little facetious on my part, but you did earn the pip. I'm not sure if you rematched them when they used perks, but the fact they still 2-2'd you with no perks is evident the game is still unbalanced, especially since 2 of them pipped and one safety pipped, given what you were running and they weren't running anything.
I can guarantee if you didn't run any perks or add-ons you likely would have lost. The fact Survivors can do what they did and still come out as balance intends shows that Survivors are way too powerful. Add perks to them, and they become nearly unstoppable.
This is the match if anyone has any interest in seeing it. Marth's performance aside (who admits he was "boosted" this match), this is what SWF is capable of, and how skewed the balance truly is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cssz6aQ9Dq8Just saying, I was the first one to pip against them and then you say "they demolished me" when I pipped on Huntress with no instathrow, Iridescent, Ruin, on Swamp of all maps. You're just basically lying at that point. Stop that.
I said "that's a little facetious on my part." Or, I guess you missed the statement where I renounced what I said before? You still ran other meta perks on top of meta Add-ons, all to 2-2 a pack of survivors with no perks.
You had BBQ, whispers, and Stridor, and Nurses, on top of running 2 extra hatchets, AND Babushka for faster charge up time.
I might go back to saying they demolished you just cause it drives home the point you still couldn't 4k a pack of no perk survivors, and you had to use a top-level build just to pull that off.
im starting to think you havent even watched the game. I didn't have stridor, I didn't have extra hatchets, and I AFK'd the last 2 minutes of the match to just stop their streak instead of 4king. Are you confusing me with someone else? You seem to have some weird dislike for me
Oops you're right you didn't have Stridor, that's my bad, and I thought the Begrimed hatchet was the Infantry Belt from the quality of the video (I'm on my phone at the moment). False info is not what I wanna spread, I legit mistook those perks and addons.
And so you stopped playing the last (minute, you hooked the last guy right when the gates were powered) just cause you wanted to stop the streak? If that was your only goal in the match, the you barely achieved it given when you Killed the last guy. You afk'd cause the gates were powered and regardless there is nothing you could have done to get them anyway, as both Clauds would have been out by the time you got to the other side and started running the loop again. That actually further drives home my point, as the Killer it still took you all match just to get 2 players. Imagine if they actually had Self-Care or DS, which is another one of my points. Did you rematch the Squad when they used perks? That's what I'm curious to see.
The point of you pipping is irrelevant to the point I am making anyway considering a Killer can still pip without even Killing anyone (at the time, I believe this even before Emblems, so yeah, it was really easy for a Killer to pip still). That is also one of my main issues with the game, but that is a different point entirely that has to do with the Ranking system itself.
As far as liking you as a person, I don't know enough about you or anything you say to have a dislike for you, nor am I saying these things out of spite. I'm using your match against the squad as a basis for how unbalanced the game is, and you being a Killer that is actually competent helps to reveal the balance flaws.
Because if it takes a top level Killer using 3/4 meta perks and 1/2 meta add-ons just to get a 2k on a group Survivors using nothing at all, the game is busted in terms of balance

And before you say, "not every Survivor plays this way," you would know that because you face opposition that you easily slay all the time, because the game is riddled with no-skill Survivors. But, when the real deal comes up, you have to sweat your ass off just to get a 2k. Not every Survivor plays this way, but any game that takes its balance seriously always balances the game around the top-level players, because they are the ones that can abuse the systems the most.

If someone plays perfectly i don't see why said person shouldn't be rewarded.
I'm not saying Scottjund is bad, everyone can have a bad match no matter how good they are.Because even if you play perfectly, your opponent has to have opportunities to overcome your skill. This is where the game drops the ball.
Compare it to something like fighting games, where there are a million variables and even if you go against an opponent who is much better than you, you can use your knowledge to overcome the challenge and FORCE mistakes or outplay the opponent.
The main problem with DbD's balance is that it doesn't present the Killer enough opportunities to force mistakes out of Survivors or to outplay them, with the sole exceptions being Nurse, Billy, and Huntress. If two players play perfectly, it comes down to who has better reflexes, mindgames, and overall the ability to read the opponent.
With looping as it is and with how all 5 gens can be finished in just 160 seconds, the Killer has almost no room to actually outplay smart Survivors.
I also love it the "top Killer gets bodied by Depip Squad" point gets shut down immediately with "everyone has bad games." Yes, you are correct, but when Scott can body 20 teams in a row, and then get absolutely murdered by the Squad, it shows that majority of Survivors are incapable of actually facing good Killers. ScottJund had to use all his best gear against them and still lost.
And he played as well as he could have, it wasn't a bad game at all. The game is just stacked against Killers, and despite saying the exceptions are Nurse, Billy, and Huntress, ScottJund was playing Huntress when he lost. They also defeated several top level Nurses and Billys. The only real viable Killer is Nurse.

Would be nice but most SWFs are against such a thing and some players fear that splitting the playerbase would be a bad idea regarding matchmaking / waiting times ect.Unfortunately, it seems like BHVR has a similar point of view that those in that regard so I highly doubt they'll ever implement such a mode.
@se05239 said:
Keep dreaming, dude. No competitive mode will ever happen because it'd inconvenience survivors relying on SWFs for easy wins.In the current balance state, such a separation would probably kill the game. First, the game needs to be balanced around voice comms (+ingame voice comms), but unforunately BHVR doesnt have the balls to do that
I've suggested built in proximity chat on here before but everyone goes insane disagreeing with the idea. It's definitely not as strong as swf voice comms but at least survivors will have no one to blame but themselves for not working as a team. Though some killers like trapper will get hit pretty hard by this.
No proximity chat, we need global teamchat for survivors, otherwise TS/discord will still be superior and thats what the game has to be balanced around
I mean just implementing chat into the game won't fix the balance. There are enough people who don't want to chat while playing survivor solo and get yelled at by some salty kids.
If you dotn want the advantage of chatting, thats fine, but dont deny the possibility for everyone else.
Fact is that voice comms are part of the game now and the game needs to be balanced aroudn themI don't want a game balanced around something the majority of players won't use.
The majority of players already plays SWF, just fyi
yeah but they play with friends, not with strangers. I wouldn't want to chat with strangers.
You just said "I don't want a game balanced around something the majority of players won't use."
But fact ist that most of the players are using voice comms already, having an advantage over killers.Yet, as far as I understood you, you want to keep the game balanced around solo play because you are a bit "socially awkward" even though you are the minority
Oh and btw, ofc there will be a mute button. You wont be forced talkign to strangers
I'm saying that there are enough people who don't want to communicate with strangers, simple as that. If your solution is to add voice comm to the game, and then buff most killers to the level of swf survivors, then watch all the solo survivor players leave this game because they don't want to chat with some salty strangers, yet if they don't use voice comms, will have a serious pr disadvantage and also put the rest of their team into a disadvantage. That's not going to work.
I wouldn't mind if voice chat was added to the game, but the game's biggest balance gaps between solo and swf survivors need to be adressed with ingame built in abilities for survivors that help solo survivors but not swf survivors. Aura reading abilities like kindred Tier 3 come to mind. But its ok for killers to verse SWF while the game is being balanced around no voice comms. Guess they will have to suck it up eh?
Uhmm, I said they need to close the gap between swf and solo with aura reading abilities and other ingame abilities for survivors, and then killers can be balanced around swf more appropriately. Or did you just skip that part? And it really isn't that bad honestly.
Voice comm provide a much greater advantage than you think, what are the devs supposed to do? Light up all survivor auras permanently? And even then, communication is still stronger
It still better than forcing all solo survivors to use voice comms. I'm sure of that.
Honestly it wouldn't make much of a difference if they added ingame chat. SWF teams will still use Discord and probably just ignore those not in their chat.
Even just adding voice chat, I'm not sure how they could balance for it. Anything that could potentially "mute" the survivors on the Killer end would still be nullified by Discord.
Also, closing the gap between Solo and SWF survivors only further buffs SWF, cause if you buff the individuals, the team itself also becomes stronger, making it that much more difficult to balance.
Nothing short of entirely reworking all of the systems will be able to fix the problems. Which is why I was sad to hear they still have a 5 year plan for this game. I can't imagine another 5 years of Killers being underpowered af.

I hope people debate coherently about the gameplay, and do not come joking and contempt my concidering. Seeing that you are one of these people, I expect nothing from you. It's like waiting for a main killer to agree with me, it will not happen;
bro every god nurse like zubatlel or me will agree with you that nurse is complete broken and unbalanced. so what? devs wont nerf her so get used to die against good nurses.
pro tipp: if you cant beat them, join them and enjoy your easy 4ks
You are an exception. Most main killer I know do not want it to be balanced or they think that survivors have many advantages over killer, but they do not.
I play ass survivor, but all I want is fair game for everyone. And I expect devs make something
I mean the Depip Squad will show you even top level Nurses cave to the tactics of smart Survivors.
She isn't impossible. She just requires different gameplay than any other Killer currently has.
I hate when people use top level Killers as an example for what is possible, when it's pretty much a fact that most Survivors in this game are incapable of using evasion tactics outside of looping, which is why they die to Nurses super quick. And now you are quitting the games with Nurses because YOU perceive it to not be fair.
If the Nurse was super OP, they would have done something about her, but she isn't. The devs consider her fair and that's how it is. Even the best Nurses can't keep up with a coordinated gen rush and smart evasion tactics that go beyond "mindgames."
As long as team chatter and the rush maintains its place in the meta, the Nurse should maintain hers as well.
-
Nurse is only a problem when she has more than 3 blinks. Perhaps you need to try a different approach, one that involves less circles?

The depip squad has already proven that even perkless survivors have no problem stomping fully slotted high rank Killers. At that point it's just ignorance of the community and developers, nothing more.
Remember the discussions pre depip squad?
"Killer mains be like; We can escape all the time... If that's true I want proof!" A typical statement of Survivors.
Few weeks later the depip squad provided results from their "experiments", the proof everyone sceptical asked for.
"Not everyone plays like that!" was the new excuse.
Then we see No0b3 getting 23x escapes in a row in high rank.
"He got carried by a friend!" the next excuse.
This made me realize that you can't make a point in a community full of pure ignorant. Every high skilled survivor will agree that Killers have no chance against coordinated high skilled survivors, the Killers skill is mostly irrelevant.
Any Killer that isn't Nurse, Billy, Huntress, or Clown pretty much requires the Survivors to make mistakes, and even Clown has problems. Pretty much 75% of the Killer selection is unviable against top level Survivors, and unless it's Nurse, you're still gonna have to sweat as Billy or Clown.
The reason I dislike the game currently is because it is far too easy to play and win as a Survivor. Even when I die, it doesn't really matter as long as I get enough to rank up. All I lose is Bloodpoints, which is irrelevant for me as I only play one Survivor and have everything on her already. Why would I want to grind out on someone else?
I pretty much need to go perkless if I want any modicum of a challenge in this game as a Survivor. The game was fun for the first 800 hours. But after pretty much having a win ratio of about 80%, the game has exhausted all sense of reward from me. This is the most glaring issue for long time players.
This is why I feel many usually just resort to troll tactics and other shenanigans, because the Killers can't reasonably do anything about Survivors who taunt them with their skill and superior mobility around tight objects. I use the term 'skill' very loosely here, because even without looping, it isn't very difficult to run the Killer around for 3+ minutes if you have good navigation around the map.

You cant take someone seriously that hasnt even been able to reach rank 1 BECAUSE it is so easy to reach, such a guy just started playing and has <100 hours

Keep dreaming, dude. No competitive mode will ever happen because it'd inconvenience survivors relying on SWFs for easy wins.In the current balance state, such a separation would probably kill the game. First, the game needs to be balanced around voice comms (+ingame voice comms), but unforunately BHVR doesnt have the balls to do that
The fact they caved to pressure and shoehorned SWF into the game before balancing it is evidence enough of that.

The game shouldn't give the Survivors all the information that it does. The game used to be a little more challenging for it when you weren't sure what Hex was up, or if there was even a Hex at all until you find one.The proficiency indicators I'm fine with, but anything that tells the Survivors what debuffs they have on the right hand side should be removed, as well as the indication that the Killer is chasing the Obsession.
What kind of HUD do you suggest, for both parties?
The Killer should be able to see which Survivors are injured and what debuffs he currently has in play and on which Survivors they are affecting, which perks he has set on himself, in addition to the noise indicators that are normally present, where the gens are, and who the Obsession is. Your add-ons should also be present to remind you what your build is.
Survivors shouldn't be able to tell who is injured until they see them. Seeing allies through walls when they go down is fine, and any buffs the Survivor receives from other Survivors should be indicated so that you can take full advantage of the buff. But anything that warns the Survivor of an "Exposed" or "Hindered" status should be removed. Obviously seeing your own perks and item is also fine. Survivors should NOT be able to tell who the Obsession is until he has gone down at least once, unless you are the Obsession, in which case you can see that always.
This change would drastically benefit the killer: what would you offer in exchange for the survivors, to balance it?
Nothing. The game needs to be harder for Survivors.

They copied the roadmap of R6. Why not the ranking system?
Because that would require them to actually balance the game like R6, and we all know the majority of Survivors can't imagine a reality where they don't have SC and DS on their builds.

I've been barking up that tree for a long time mate. Got a Steam thread with over 4k comments about this. It ain't happening.

Because the rarity system was pretty jacked up, so it actually made "Ultra Rare" perks appear more often than even Common perks. So they removed Common and Ultra Rare perks to make it more streamlined.

The problem isn't in how quickly you get your emblems.
The problem is that both you and your opponent can get them at the same time and they aren't opposites of each other. It's like a game of football where both teams can win as long as they score more than 2 goals. It's possible to lose in this system, but this surely isn't a competitive match.

The perk grind in this game has become a real problem that sorely needs to be addressed. The devs still continue to release new killers and survivors every 3 months and they have not stated when they plan to stop so its only going to get worse and worse. The ideal solution would be to remove perk tiers. Perk tiers are redundant and needlessly triples the grind.I would actually be fine with this. There's no real reason to need to play the game this much to get competitive perks.
It just pads out the gameplay time more than it should.
-
Add a solo ranked mode and a team based ranked mode.
The solo rank mode would be standard play, but in ranked mode, you would take 5 people on 2 teams, 4 survivor 1 dedicated Killer. Make both sides face each other, and the team overall gets the best Emblems would be the winner. You could run both games concurrently in order to minimize wait times.

The system is more an assessment of time played than skillful play. The system increases queue times significantly, and in some cases indefinitely. And in its attempt to find a “balanced” match, it diminishes the connection quality in the process.
This is nonsense. Dead by Daylight has the only community I know of that believes in the mass delusion that Rank does not measure skill. What garbage. This is the kind of mentality a person who thinks he's hot stuff, but actually can't get out of Rank 15, has.
Newsflash: rank measures your ability to consistently perform objectives. If you can't consistently perform objecives, you de-pip. And de-rank eventually.
It absolutely measures your skill. Only the best players who can consistently achieve objectives get to Rank 1.
Stop whining and pretending that Rank does't measure anything, just to keep your fragile ego that you are an actual skilled player, intact. If you are Rank 1 you're good at this game. If you are Rank 15, not so good.
And for the record, I am Rank 15. I accept this and realize I have a long way to go.
As someone who has repeatedly hit Rank 1, it doesn't really show skill. Maybe it did before they made Emblems easier to get, but it doesn't take a whole lot of skill to get there.
I mean, you can do it without perks and items with relatively little added challenge.

Play and DC often to stay at ranks with more people=Can play
Get banned because you found a loophole that makes the game playable=Can't play again.
This entire situation is garbage. It happens every time there is a rank reset at this point and nothing has been done!
You dont get banned for deranking, thats totally legit to do.
DCing is bannable of course, just like in any other competitive game. Its pathetic that you need an absurd high DC rate that the devs take action....
If you're referring to her she dc's to derank. She plays until the end then quits when shes hooked/at the gate.
Yes she DCs the game to derank, thats what I was talking about

When your advice stems to "stop playing" you've missed the point entirely.Cater to casuals? Like they already do? What are you even talking about? SWF is casual to the max, and this change is exactly catering to casuals. This game was originally and STILL is balanced around solo survivors, as there is no reasonable way for Killers to fight back against a good squad, ala the Depip Squad, whom the devs have acknowledged the balance issue from.
If you're going to make a point, at least know what you're talking about. Suddenly if you go against solos that means you want to win every single match? No? Because good solo survivors exist, you're talking to one right now.
Yeah... Comparing casuals.. LULs... Killer Casual... To SWF Survivor Casual.... Yeah good comparison.
Here we go guys... THE DEPIP SQUAD argument... Luls.... You know how much that argument means to the Devs?..... Nothing... But yet this is what poor old players still cling onto as their dying breath of SWF vs poor old killers.... HEY YOU KNOW THAT DEPIP SQUAD!.... year(s) later... still harping on the same tired argument of the shipwrecked players clinging onto their NO-SWF dingy for support.... WHEN WILL YOU HELP ME DEVS!... POOR ME AND THE DEPIP SQUAD.... sad.
Yeah... Hard to be too wrong about saying that more then half your matches will have some form of SWF in it. But yet... I guess by your argument.... YOU MIGHT JUST GET THAT DEPIP SQUAD!... So watch out survivors!!!!! THE SKY IS FALLING.
Thanks for also using my post as a spring board to boost your ego! I hope your the best!.. There I hope that strokes you a bit.
Maybe I termed the casual too wrong for you... The 1 hour casual player... to the 8 hour a day casual player....
Sorry... I didn't mention that... The op sounds like an hour a day casual player... So yeah.... I don't think they should cater to the 1 hour a day casual player.
Sorry I don't feel like stroking the OP's argument for them. I don't feel like putting my arm around them and trying to make them feel better about something that isn't going to change.
This doesn't change the fact the existence of SWF is purely a casual mechanic, you seem to have failed to ignore that point, as long as Cote himself stating this game was always balanced around solo players.
The depip squad doesn't matter to the devs because they would lose their cash cow if they actually made the game more difficult for SWF players/buffed Killers in a meaningful way. At what point do you understand that I am a Survivor player, it doesn't take being a Killer main to see the game is busted in terms of balance, with SWF being a main part of it, but other factors being the main issue overall.
If you keep using caps, you just might turn out to be right one day. You just might make the universe fold to your will if you hold shift hard enough. OP may only have one hour a day to play but that doesn't mean he's "casual" when it comes to his understanding of balance and fair play. He plays up to purple ranks, so presumably he's a least a somewhat decent Killer. But even ScottJund got demolished by the Squad, so hey, just git gud right?

You only got a little to play each day, so you want to make sure you win everytime you play since you have no time for losing any matches.
It is because of posts like this, at some point the Devs are just going to make it so you'll never see anyone in your lobby. You'll click join... and all you'll see is anonymous markers showing you others players are ready to play. Then everyone jumps in and starts with all the same info everyone else has. Which is the fairest it should be anyways.
Can't handle playing some SWF now and then, you should stop play since more then half your matches will have some form of SWF in it.
The way the lobbies are being pull together now anways, you can't really tell who is SWF just by how they enter the lobby. If you are still dodging SWF based on that info, after the lastest matchmaking.... You are certainly more frightened of SWF then you realize.
luls
DBD is a game catering towards casual in case you havent noticed.
And yes, at the moment it seems like the solution is indeed stopping to play, DCing and hoping for a better next game.
Too bad apparently they will be developing this game for another 5 years rather than make a sequel, which will allow them to fix issues that simply updating a game cannot fix without massive upheaval.
I doubt that the majority would pay for another game.
