I'm that stealthy boi you hate trust me. You'll wish you never took Whispers against me cause I'll have you locked in the same place on the map for 2 minutes lolTheBean said:@weirdkid5 said:

idk, I've had some good success with it. If they are hiding and staying still in the map anywhere, except in a looker, you can pinpoint almost exactly where they are hiding. You can even tell which direction they are moving in if they are UE'ing around.
Spies has been interesting too.. but if the survivor has UE, then it won't help.

That doesn't really mean he's good. He's one of the weakest Killers in the game.AetherBytes said:I don't think he needs a buff. I got 6 4k's in a row earlier using him.
It's pretty common knowledge most Survivors in this game suck major phallic objects. -

I don't see what's wrong with creating a separate challenge event that allows people to get Legacy again. I say this as a Legacy owner as well (formally, since my save data got deleted the day Hag came out.)NekoGamerX said:@Salty_Huntress said:

Nah. You should be able to buy ALL the event stuff in the shop with real money. However I think there should be a grace period where you can only get it from the event, and they aren't available for money purchase for something like a month after.I would spend money on Huntress's wolf mask if I could. The game was in awful condition back then and would crash regularly. Made it near impossible to get any killer games done. I only got David's jacket because it was so much faster to play survivor games that the crashing didn't matter as much.
I just want them to restore my lost Legacy already. People are still hacking it for themselves. Not sure what's keeping BHVR from giving it back to those who lost it

Yes there is, most of the suggestions in this post strictly benefit Solo Survivors and thus shortens gap between them. Quite significantly, I might add.And whether or not you think SWF is broken or not, it’s been here for quite some time and is likely here to stay. They’ve said they don’t have the tech at the moment to specifically nerf SWF lobbies because they don’t track whether a lobby is Solo or SWF. So the logical alternative is to instead bring Solos up to SWF’s power. It sounds like you are too new to realise that each time they add something like the suggestions it removes tension in a game, why wonder if you need to hide when you hear a heartbeat when you know where they are? Why go for a save when you know where they are? All this does is allow all the survivors not only swf stay on gens for shorter matches. This is not the way to fix the problem making it even more of an m1 simulator, it just means we know everything instead of having to be aware, sounds really fun doesn't it? The thing is you don't seem to think about how each one off these buffs also inherently buff swf, the one thing say has that they will never be able to give is on the fly updates, the killer us going to shack, I used that pallet, no pallets left around the harvester, open the gate I have dead hard etc, to think some notifications and aura perks will bring solo anywhere near the same level is laughable. Of course SWF is here to stay who said otherwise? they actually do track swf v solo hence the stats they released on percentages on who plays what, having the tech and hand and it not being available are two different things, the tech us out there they just need to get it in place. The logical point to fix anything broken is to fix what is not every single thing around it, would you change 6 circuit boards, replace a whole cistern to fix a faulty pipe? Or would you look to fix which is broken? The game is not tense and never has been.
Dead by Daylight is not a horror game. It’s a cooperative survival game where you do gens and run around pallets.
>
It's not cooperative. Your success does not depend on the success of your team whatsoever. This is an opportunistic game.
Cooperative in the sense that you work together on a team. But yes, there’s a lot of stuff that incentivizes ruining your team for personal gain.
That's the thing. You aren't a team. The idea is that you are 4 individual Survivors all doing their best to survive and you just happen to be in the same situation.
You never even have to "work" with your team, in fact, it's a completely valid strategy to lure the Killer to your team to get him off your back (as long as you are not working together with the Killer, there is a difference)

The hatch is there out of necessity. If you don't have it, the last survivor has no chance to escape, and attempting to do the objective makes it painfully obvious where they are. In layman's terms, touching a generator is a "I'm here, come kill me" alarm. It makes no sense for the survivor to do that, so they're going to do the smart thing and NOT do that. Now you're playing hide and seek for half an hour, maybe more, because the survivor does not want to die. They aren't even doing anything wrong because doing the objective is a bad idea in that case. The alternative is not great unless you've got all day to run circles around the map looking for someone. Not doing something dumb does not make somebody a noob.
I mean there exists an achievement that is meant for the last survivor to do the last gen and then get out through the gates. I have even repaired 3 gens as the last guy.
If there is an achievement for at least pulling off 1 gen, you should be able to do more. Don't claim this is an impossible task. Also I thought refusing to do the objective was considered holding the game hostage.
Just cause it's a bad idea to go for the gens doesn't mean the Survivor shouldn't be forced to deal with it. It should be hard af to survive as the last guy. Hatch closing mechanics were perfectly fine.

Yes, you can. As long as you've got a good reason to suspect they cheated, we would gladly take a look. Just keep in mind that achievements alone are not enough for us to ban them. They can be a good indicator, but there's a whole list of issues with certain achievements not going off when they should.
The cut off date for Legacy was November 2016, right? The guys Steam achievement for creating account was "Been A Steam Member Since September 2017" would that be enough? He hasn't even had his steam account long enough to have legacy.

don't have 3 or 4 toolboxes, cuz killers will dodge that lobby since gens get done way too quick without toolboxes, so when a killer sees 2-4 toolboxes ofc he will either get franklins or dodge. i rather dodge than have 1 perk slot removed cuz of franklins

Friendly reminder that about 70% of Survivors rely on SC, DS, and SWF. In my eyes most Survivors aren't that great.
To contradict your point, I've never had an issue facing a Nurse even at Rank 1 as a Solo Survivor.

From the Steam Page for the game: "Survive Together… Or Not - Survivors can either cooperate with the others or be selfish. HILARIOUS. 😂Sounds to me like you just need to get better. If you are the same Rank and you consider his match against you to be an "easy" one, you don't deserve the Rank you hold.
If you are the same Rank as the Killer, him dodging lobbies is no excuse for why you lost your match. For all you know, he dodged 10 lobbies before you. If he beat you, he's still better than you.

The community would be better off when five players queue solo and the killer is selected randomly. Why?
- Every player would then be affected to changes to both killers and survivors.
- Every player would have a basic understanding of the challenges of playing both sides.
A huge part of this whole toxicity is created because some people queue with their friends and the first one to die he has to sit there passively watching the rest of the game.
This could be address so that players who die spawn as either "helpers" to the survivor or "assistants" to the killer.
If you've ever played F13, this would just make people who don't get Killer quit and vice versa.
-
I approve of this
-
This is what I would do, stop lunging in open territory and just follow them. If they don't try to 360 you you're good, but always assume everyone is gonna 360.
With this in mind, if you see them go to turn, simply stop and walk backwards and face the direction they spun in. On PC this is also how you deal with good 360 users, because the auto hit isn't enough sometimes to hit 360 users if they flick hard enough

There is a reason why screenshots and steam profile is not accepted anymore. How to report them in the lobby?
If you hover your mouse over their name, in the post game screen, there will be an option that either lets you give the player props or report them. You'll need to manually search up their STEAM ID and manually type it into the report before you leave the post game screen.

As much as people should play the other side so that they can get a feel for the full balance, forcing people to do so would kill the game. Removing player choice is never a good idea.

That's not the point, regardless perkless or not a game shouldn't end in 4 minutes. The entire survivor objective system is just flawed, especially when it can be bypassed in 4 minutes.
Now, @powerbats... The twitch thingy isn't working for me right now but I'll @ you when I'm able to see it!

So when a killer ends it in 2 minutes that's ok then and how often does a game actually end in 4 minutes here because let's be honest the cherry picking here is stupid.
If a killer is able to end a game in 2 minutes then something is definitely wrong for the survivor side. I'll admit that every two minute game I had as a killer was solely due to the fact that the survivors were just too greedy, not because of my skill. You see this a lot by survivors rushing the hook while you devour the entire team by downing every victim who attempts to unhook in your face. About the cherry picking: Yes, I understand that not EVERY game is 4 minutes and usually games last a good 10 minutes from my typical killer games. However, seeing that the survivor role have the power to end the game practically instantly is just ridiculous honestly speaking. This needs addressing.
This right here

I can't remember the last time I had 2+ BNPs in a match, let alone 4xBNPS, 4 Injured Survivors W Resilience, Running 4 Tool Boxes + Spine chill with the killer looking at them, prove thyself & this is not happening.
You guys reacting like 4 BNPs is common, let alone all other perfect conditions for this to even happen.
OMEGALUL
What is essentially a free objective shouldn't exist at all, regardless of how common 4 BNPs are or not. You have to balance around extreme outliers, not ignore them. That's how ######### gets abused.
No you don't, because I guarantee a setup like this has NEVER happened in a live match.
I mean, just because you never seen it happen doesn't mean it doesn't actually happen.
I had a guy on here explain how he and his buddy have a strat to always get off the last dude on the hook as long as BT and Adrenaline are in play, and as long as the last gen is done on time, the Killer will not be able to rehook the last guy or hook his savior.
I've played this game since Day 1 and I can promise you I've seen 4 BNPs before, and this was back when BNPs were INSTANT repairs.
When people realize the potential of what they can do, they'll start doing it. I have over 50 BNPs. It's not like I'm strapping for them.
why do ya'll move the goal post so much, we're talking about the exact setup in the video, not "4 BNPS". Of course that happens but I've not seen it since BNPs were nerfed and I certainly haven't had a gen pop instantly like they used too.
The setup in the video simply can't happen unless you're an incredibly bad player, sure 4 bnps, maybe but if all survivors are in one place you're probably going to find them very quickly and aren't likely to get them finished either way.
I honestly can't remember the last time 4 bnps have graced my match, I also can't remember the last time I've seen any youtuber or twitch streamer go against it either.
But like you said in your first comment, lets balance around extreme outliers, so lets balance around ebony mori, iridescent hatchets & infantry belt... you know, because it COULD happen.
I'm fine with this, if you fix junk like this then fix Mori's and stuff like that. There's too many outliers in this game for it to ever be properly balanced.
And I'm not moving any goalpost, it's not like this isn't nearly just as effective with 3 people, having 1 guy distract the Killer. It's already common knowledge that looping is the best way to waste time, and a Killer who drops his chase realistically isn't doing himself any favors, as he just wastes more time and lets the Survivor he's chasing heal. Even with 3 people, you'd maybe lose 5 seconds or so? It's completely negligible.
Like I said, just because someone got some good perks or good addons from the RNG bloodweb doesn't mean that they should be allowed to do the things that are possible. This includes Killer Mori's and such.
-
DS Is A Noob Friendly Perk and Sucks A Lot
The survivor presses space and in the end manages to escape with no effort because ds is a broken perk.
Most Killers it is impossible to recatch the Survivor even with all the buffs.
nerf ds, it's not a bait. This perk delivers the game to those who fail to escape a chase. free win -
