What do you think about this for spirit.
If you use short bursts of her phase or phase at all, It automatically takes 90% of your power. Now what does this mean. If you phase for a second you lose all of you power basically sort of like if a Legion hits someone who is already in deep wounds while in Frenzy. I also think she doesn't need change at all. But a friend and I were thinking about how to make the community happy without fundamentally changing her in the end. Let me know your thoughts on this. Totally cool if you think this is stupid but most of the people I have asked have thought it was a pretty fair change.
So if you were to phase for one second you would have to wait 13.5 seconds for your power to come back.
There is no meaan by this change, no one needs to useher bursts, she can get the 1 hit and the second after phase, you can just take the time to get the hook and recover your time.

You said "usually".
If that's true then you know you shouldn't be DCing, and if it isn't then that means you are just playing the victim card, like many other people here.
DCing because of game features is childish anyway, so i advise you to play a different game. Try single player games and set them on the easiest difficulty.
Sorry then, I meant that usually when there are 4 keys they are not all with Purple or Iri keys, they are probably 3 broken ones and 1 real, the 3 brokens have bloody amber probably. When I play killer I usually face survivors that change character at 6 seconds to one with key or flashlight, flashlights are no problem, but keys piss me off.

To be fair, judging from the anniversary stream it seems like their idea of a key rework is to make it a base mechanic into the game together with moris and this is probably gonna take another 6+ months if we're being super optimistic

I like to think I'm a nice killer. I will avoid tunneling as much as possible and do not face camp (even in EGC). If someone was just taken off the hook and I find them immediately, I will often slug them rather than rehook them just because I feel bad and want to let them survive a bit longer without just straight up letting them go. Unless I have another target in my sights, I won't ever slug (though in large part because I think this is boring for me as a killer rather than an altruistic thing).
People who do this last second switch are the exceptions. I still will not directly tunnel them but if I have two options, Mr Key by default now takes priority. I will go out of my way to keep everyone alive as long as possible (not because I'm being nice though, I'm trying to keep the hatch out of play so if you're on your death hook, you're getting the boring slug rather than just killed). If we get to EGC, I will make it my priority to get them on the hook and bust out the graham crackers and chocolate.
There are not a lot of things that turn me into the scummy jerk tactics killer; this is one of them. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes survivor...
If you are slugging the guy that was just unhooked you are not being nice, you are just trying not to get DSed, I am killer main and I know that its not just get the guy downed and rehook him, there is the DS at the middle that makes everything more spicy.

i never stated Franklins was a hard counter for keys.
my post was a direct reply to someone stating how this was so survivor sided and I wanted to give some killer sided arguments and some light counters to keys. And Franklins can help if they are super focused on the key.
there is also killer stuff in the game without real counterplay (Spirit Stridor, a Nurse that knows how to play).
also we have confirmation that keys will get reworked.
There is no actual counter to keys. People in SWF usually put 4 broken keys in the last second and a hatch offering just to make the killers quit, they cant escape by hatch but they dont need to as they are just gonna make the killer DC like bully squads.

Look at Neas hand, she selected key at 5 seconds missing so the killer wouldnt bring Franklins Demise or Mori, this is a old trick that make killers pissed off, usually bad survivors do that and die because they were camped or tunneled by the killer.

Most of the time the killer doesn't even run NOED so it might just be a waste of time, What do you guys do?
You shouldnt try to find totems, if you just find one you cleanse it, unless you have perks like Small-Game, Iri Map or Normal Map with the red rope, Detectives Hunch, and the in coming Counterforce. If there is a Devour Hope then you might try to find totems as with 5 tokens thekiller get a MOri+ the 3 tokens Insta down.

If you are making this question, do the totem, there can be Noed in the end of the match or the killer might have undying, as you made this question, you are probably low rank, aft low ranks there are lots of Noeds, with NOED, it takes one dull totem that is alive when the hatch is closed or the 5 gen is done, and makes it Hex, if there is no totem, there will be no way that NOED appears.

Hey did you guys know the trickster has a lullaby? You know that huming thing the huntress does? In his case it sounds like his terror radius but it can't be altered by any "undetectable" perks (such as insidious) or any perks that alter a killer's terror radius (such as monitor and abuse).
It's a feature that balances killers that lose their terror radius with their abilities (the kids singing when the nightmare is near) or that are a threat even at a distance (the huntress, duuuh).
That being said, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY PUT A LULLABY ON THE TRICKSTER IF HE CAN'T DO ANY OF THESE THINGS, ARE THEY PURSPOSEFULLY TRYING TO MAKE THIS KILLER BAD.
I mean yeah, the trickster can harm you at a distance, IF HE LANDS ABOUT 8 KNIVES AND YOU STAND COMPLETELY STILL WHILE HE DOES IT INSTEAD OF TAKING COVER OR DODGING.
Also nowhere in the game it says he has a lullaby, a salty survivor told me on chat yesterday "you look dumb af running monitor, i could hear you on the other side of the map", that's the only reason i went to look it up. Apparently not even some streamers know of this because they never mention it on tier lists and they run monitor themselves. And yes, it makes monitor and abuse pretty useless, considering it goes up to 32 meters and it sounds exactly like your terror radius.
So not only i have to worry about being slow, but now i can't even surprise survivors. They better buff him so that the knives remove a health state each if they plan on maintaining the lullaby, jeez.

A rock bottom skill floor with a near game-breaking skill ceiling is bad game balance and bad game design. That's really not debatable.
I understand that Nurse players have been honing in their craft for years and changing the way she plays would really screw Nurse mains over, but why is this allowed to go on when it's a seemingly glaring issue with balance?
I understood what you said, but even tho you cant loop a good nurse, there are tons of things you can do without having to do loops, if you gen rush against her even tho one guy is down, there will be 2 gen by 1 down, thats not really debatable if its killer ided or survivor sided, if you ccan get the save and get downed and another half gen is done, then this game is almost won.

I know that working with survivors AGAINST other survivors is against the rules (as it should be, I find it to be absolutely pathetic behavior) but I have to admit, I didn't interpret the rule as "working together for mutual gain".
That said, that ISN'T what the game was designed for, and I myself would be bored doing it. Again, while I enjoy letting the survivors live, I still prefer to play an actual match leading up to that.

A killer who will at the end of the day will come down to how good you can hear. Takes more skill then Blight? If Oni is so easy then why aren't there many Onis? And Hag takes more then Spirit.
And no hag doesnt take more then spirit, I was hag main at first and I got to rank 1 between a month playing her, no teachable perks and no add-ons, if you want to compare hag and spirit, you have to compare the skills you need to have to polay hag so lets do that.
Spirit first, skills needed( talking about no perks against a Iron will optimal squad, and not saying about normal killer skills as m1 waiting DH, droping chases...) You need to know when to get out of the phase, mindgame the mindgame, hear foot steps and grass( as you cant hear breating and grunts of pain because of IW) where to go after getting the hook, ( if you dont know when to get out of the phase you need to know when the survivor is going for the window, pallet, double back or hiding in the corner of the jungle gym.
Hag second, skills needed: Know where to put traps that are gonna activate during chase, normal killer skills such as mindgames double backs and moonwalks, and know here to put traps that are gonna activate when going to a gen( trap placement in general).
Now lets see if the hag is really more difficult to master, it aint. Spirit is a better killer but takes more things to master( hearing, mindgames on the phase, getting out of the phase in the right time), and Hag is a worst killer and need to master less things( normal killer skills and trap placement, if yu want to consider fake trap placement as something to master, feel free). I might be missing something about the Hag skills, feel free to correct me if Im wrong.

People used to justify Old Bubba with the fact that you would always get at least one kill. While this is true for the most part, generally 4ks were less common than seeing "entity displeased" on the endgame screen. Don't get me wrong, nobody camps better than Bubba. But if good camping wasn't enough to get him out of F tier before his buff, I don't think it's that much of a problem (despite how undeniably unfun it is)
He still can get a guaranteed kill without even having to know how to play, his camp really doesnt get him out of tier c but he still can just get someone out of the game if he wants, that is really unfun but not op.

So I was chasing a meg on the game as twins and every time she got to a pallet she would drop it.
I was wondering, for a basic m1 killer how do you deal with survivors predroping multiple pallets in a row?
Thats the game I mean, I replied almost the same question yesterday, you should just break the pallet if its necesay, if she was droping the pallet every chance she had, you should try to break the pallet if you see that you cant play around it, but most of te pallets are unsafe pallets, so you could try to mindgame her to start desesperating and going one side to the other and spamming space, at some point you will get the hit and you will win the chase. Other thing you should keep in mind is that some pallets need to be break like jungle jim pallets and Shack pallets, those are really dificcult to play around even if the survivor is a r20 that just started to play the game and you are a r1, if you dont break that pallet you cant get him. Knowing when to drop a chase is really important as well, if you see that a survivor has a really good setup with shack pallet and 1 TL between shack and jungle gym, you should just try to get this guy on another opportunity or try to find anyone else, you should drop the chase against really good setups or good survivors that you are chasing for over 20-25 seconds, if in this time you couldnt get a hit just drop the chase, especiially at haddonfield, at haddonfield there is the strode house, that loop is a nasty infinite loop, just drop the chase and find someone else, believe me, they are not getting closer, they are only getting more and more distance.

-that's the player's fault, Bubba being effecient at a strategy that puts the killer at a disadvantage isn't OP
-BBQ is not op and it contradicts your point about camping
-He can only down all survivors if they group up, which is the fault of the survivors
-hitting through windows is caused by lag and absolutely nothing else
I agree with all that but dont you think that being able to get a guarantee kill is one of the best strategies? When the game is lost or almost, Bubba facecamps even tho he has a tiny bit hope, I really dont think that face camping on the start of the match is op but when you have passed the past 5 minutes looping him so your teamates could end the gens and help you, you get pissed off easily as the bubba player wasnt even playing well but he can just kill you on your first hook, its unfortunate but we can do nothing, we can just expect the devs to fix the face camping as any decent player wants.

Pro teams know not to go for rescues on a facecamped survivor, There is no way that's the reason he is banned
He has a guaranteed kill on the match, thats why he s banned, If you search for many tournament rules, there is Leatherface Banned on those as he can get 3 points for free, and yes good survivors know that and they cant get the save and the motive they know that is because the bubba has the fame of camping god and thats why he is banned, when bubba is allowed they sometimes use camaraderie so they buy half gen more with the camping meaning that they can all escape the match just because bubba downed 1 guy and camped him.

the IA is ######### neither wa, they need anerf on closed maps and a buff on big maps, on closed maps they can box you but on open they just cant do their work, thats my opinion obviously, for bots to come handy there will need a lot of programation and they are probaby gonna act like a dwight that just walks and enter to a locker when hear the killers terror radius, the IA needs to be improved so it can be turned to bots.

Probably because I am not a fan of RE but this chapter just isn’t interesting to me. The new map looks absolutely terrible and will play about as well as midwich. The new perks seem okay if not a bit weak and the new killer seems like PH 2.0
its a funny way to see it but this chapter came to break the entire match ruin and bring in a way selfcare to clutch, leon perks need a rework as I said in past posts, Leon need rookie spirit to maybe reduce the regression of a generator by 40% at a time, then it would be a good perk as 4 rookie spirits would make ruin 120% regression on 4 gens, BtB needs to make you heal faster when in the killer terror radius, and flashbang its jst a bad perk and Idk how to buff it or if it even needs a buff just like many other bad perks at this game, counterforce is gonna make ruin last the time it should as it shulndt last all match as ruin is a perk not to take 2 gen in the first minute of match, the 50% heal off the hook might make selfcar worthy as it is gonna heal you with the normal speed but its still better just to let someone hheal you and the gen mine is not coming in clutch by any way as the gen is gonna be popped neither way and the stagger isnt considerable as killer are not gonna pop gens that someone just got out be cause they have the chance of having this perk altho its bad. Thats my view of the chapter, nemesis has the starting of the game average perk that can make some interesting meme build to jumpscare survivors but still not phenomenal.

Most people don't even pay attention to what they are doing to survivors. It's just becoming based around rank 10 players having a 50/50 chance of escaping, while anyone above or below is screwed. It's not about them keeping broken things in the game for survivor and killer, it's about what they remove from survivor while permitting it from killer because "Killer is hard".
They remove pallet vacuums, but keep killer hit vacuum(auto aim) in the game without a working hit detection system.
They remove infinite loops, but promote killers standing at hooked survivors infinitely.
They gut movement and make it easy for killers to get hits around corners, in 360s, and through pallets.
They gut toolboxes but allow slowdown perk stacking.
They replace most good loops with crappy filler tiles that only protect you from basic m1 killers 50% of the time.
They balance the maps around killers who only m1, so when you get a killer that is stronger the map can be broken in killers favor with little skill on their part.
Good killer perks make the game easier or require less thought, while good survivor perks are what are necessary to prevent dying to thoughtless tactics like tunneling off hook or being slugged on the ground for 4 minutes.
Now killers need AI to help them win too, insane slippery slope the games went down imo. I remember when killers had to work for their kills, now all they care about is the win screen and not how they got it.
I think you got a point at the killer facecamping but wdym by equaling infinite loops to face camp, there is stil haddonfield strode house that is a infinite loop, are you defending infinite loops? I want to understand what you meant. About talking that killers have good perks, they need those good perks to win and they need perks to make the game equal( although its still not by the second chance perks that have a complete slowdown, you guys hink that slugging is toxic because you want us to eat ur ds, thats not how it works, if you are being slugged its because ds is a completely broken perk that makes killers have to slugg you to have a chance of winning, if ds was reworked, we wouldnt have to slugg you guys because it would not be so good and not so popular anymore.

Spirit does take time to master she does. But compared to the other top tiers Nurse, Blight, Hag, Huntress, Oni or Pyramid Head she is easy. And the counterplay you described won't work against a GOOD Spirit who is easily familiar with what survivors will do because they're good at using their ears. Except Nurse against the best killers you have a chance a counterplay that doesn't come down to I hope she's inexperienced.
I mean, I was at first Hag main, I took less than a day to master her and in 1 month playing 1 hour a day I got to rank 1, she is easy to master compared to spirit, oni doesnt need focused training, I mean he need a good DPI on mouse and some mindgames, but nothing really difficult, when it comes to nurse thats true, spirit is easy to master when compared to nurse, ,Pyramid head is mind games and predictions as well, the others you said dont really need much practice.
-
I mean there is no point the killer quiting the match after being in a hard chase, just if he commited to you for 4 entire gens, then its understandable, and I usually quit as survivor when I see a bad team, like they left me to die on my 1 hook after buying them 4 gens and not even being face camped, they just left me on the hook opened the exit gates and escaped the match, not even trying, thats why Im spirit main lol

@ADM_Biscuit said:
Now I know the killers have to be "op" to a certain extent for them to be able to win against 4 other people. In the case of leatherface and the doctor they are overpowered to a point where it's not fun to go against. Which I am many others can probably agree means they need to be toned down a bit. For example earlier today I had a leather face who hit me when I went through a window and was about 10 feet away from it. Now part of it was probably lag but still that's pretty insane. Now with the doctor I know his whole game play is structured around slowing down and annoying the survivors, but he really shouldn't stop you from doing action for a couple seconds after he shocks you. For example I've had many doctors shock me right before I used dead hard, and whether your in a dead zone or not your basically dead. So I propose that Bubba gets a longer cool down on his chain saw attack not much longer but longer. I also propose that the doctor doesn't stop actions like dead hard or vaults and only slows down the survivor for a few seconds. Please let me know if anyone thinks this is unreasonable thanks you for you're time.
What rank are you to think that doctor is one of the best killers of the game? And Bubba I got your point, hes got a guaranteed kill on every match but either way

Tombstone Myers always safety pips at best even if you 4k. If Rank doesn't matter to you then it's just up to your experience with that trial. Was it satisfying? Did you enjoy giving that last survivor the hatch? Then...who cares. You win.
If you're survivor and you spent all game crouching in the corner and ran out the exit gate as soon as your team carried you, did you really win? Wasn't that boring? Yeah you didn't die but...I feel like you lost. You know?
Tombstone Myers is not SS tier as some people say, if you just normally loop him and get some distance you can avoid being killed by him, something good to know, is that when Myers has the tombstone, at tyer 3 his hand will be opened, his hand is normally closed at tier 3.

And in this whole text I havent even mentioned Iron Will as you said that it was the counterplay that pros told to be her unique counterplay, its really not, if you go against a good nurse you are going to see what is it to really have no known counterplay technique( when I mean technique Im not talking about using DH as someone might mention me to say).

All these nerf Spirit people weren't doing it right. Then I faced a Spirit main. All these pro tricks were worthless she just downed and downed us. A 4 gen 5k. Since then and more good Spirts I realize all this "counterplay" is literally worthless against good Spirits. And not to mention her add-ons and Stridor. Which is a viable argument since people will run these commonly. One " counterplay" I hear is just run to the next loop. Something that works against a bad Spirit but good Spirits will recognize this and just down you later. 5 seconds is enough time for her to catch up to you and not to mention how likely it is add-ons are in play. As well just double back or crouch and wait. That's great against a bad Spirit. But a good Spirits will know you're doing this since they'll use their ears from all their time getting familiar with Spirit. And once more the likely chance she has add-ons and Stridor. So tell me people who say she has counterplay have the Spirits you've faced actually been good Spirits?
As you said they havent faced a good Spirit, there are tons of people that think that spirit is being a op character, it really is but its not like the old freddy that didnt even have to practice to master, spirit takes hours and hours to max her, I passed weekslearning how to play as her, she is a really difficult character to play with, there is a lot of things you can do to counter Spirit, when at jungle gyms if you start to walk she will have to get out of the phase if she is a decent player as there are tons of possibilities there, you might double back, hide in a corner, you might vault the pallet, you might vault he window, the thing about spirit is her counter play, there are a lot of people who dont know how to play with and against her, so she is not actually op, she is being op because people dont know how to counter her.

I hella find it annoying though as even with my 1.5K hours of DBD. I have little experience encountering fireworks and now knowing in two I probably encounter Leons spamming me with flashbangs seems pretty annoying like 3 survivors with flashlights following me every move to get blind me every action.
The Other one is Jill's mine trap... Kicking iss already a waste of time and now I have to worry about getting stunned and blinded for 5 secs every time I use Pop... I am scared seeing my 3 gen and then kicking it but every time I kick it explodes in my face.
Leon hasnt got any perk that is actually good( the flashbang is literally a flashlight in a worse way in my opinion) but Jills perks are really good, the totem hunter one and the 50% healed after hook are really interesting, I dont think that the gen mine is a good perk, I couldnt see the full value still but I cant see any way that it comes in clutch.

Yeah. But the match that I was just in all of the other players were in the same quadrant of the map with two working on the same gen. And when another person was downed, I jumped into a locker while another character conveniently began working on a gen near me just as the other was hooked. Lol. I can’t figure if these things are intentional or just stupid.
In solo queue, I’m more confident in my skills to distract a character than I am in other people doing the hook save. I’ve seen too many people hiding behind rocks mere feet away when its obvious the killer is on the other side of the map after someone else, only to wait until the second state before unhooking.
thats my point, the problem of the game is hitbox and matchmaking.

I go to locker when the downed teamate is getting picked by the killer so I am able to hide my aura from the killer.
