I want the killer to get away from the hooked person. I'm confident enough in my chase game to distract the killer while others go for the save and heal.

Poor guy, you believe at you solo queue team mates that are selfcaring in the other corner of the map and are gonna look for the anithing other then saving your teamate or helping you, it happends to me all time, its usually me( r3 survior) r16 baby dwight and 2 r18 claudettes with selfcare, thats why Im killer main lol

Just occurred to me... And for both sides. I mean clearly if the killer kills all 4 survivors it's a win. If all 4 survivors escape it's a win. But what else is considered winning for the killers and survivors? Like is 2 kills and 2 escapes a tie? Can someone shed some light on this for me? The game doesn't seem to focus a lot on what's winning.

Yes, 2 escapes and 2 sacrifices/ moris is a tie, 3 escapes is a loose, 3 sacrifices is a win, there are some guys that consider pips the win, others consider bp winning, its very subjective to understand whats winning at this game.

It isn't Blight, it's the hitboxes. The hitboxes on things are just ridiculous

Blight hitboxes hit when they shouldnt and dont hit when they should, huntresses hatchets hit like a rocket launcher, the hitboxes of this games are the big issue.

  • @DarthCat I understand what you are passing throught, I played at ghostie and got bullied many times by SWF with key, they think that they are good because they played with BT DS DH Unbreakable/Adrenaline with Key, against a killer that is not even A tier, you should just ignore and accept that they are kids trying to pass their time in a game thinking that they are the best players ever and they are douches, they know they are but this is a survivor sided game and there is nothing we can do, everyone that plays as killer frequently knows that this game is easier for survivor to escape or win if they play the basic, but thats DBD.

  • @DarthCat said:

The amount of killers I have been facing recently that just camp and tunnel and slug for 4k's without any remorse is disturbing to me. If you try to ask them why they tell you various things like: You just need to play better. Should I just let you live? It's my job to kill you. I don't care I won.

The win mentality some people have in this asymmetrical PvP game is really bad.

You can not kill any survivors and still "Win", survivors can escape and still "Lose". If you 4k and get a bad score you lost. If you escape and get a bad score you lost. If you didn't have fun you ultimately lost. How is absolutely destroying 4 solo queue survivors who are not that good fun for you? Did you get bullied by a really good SWF now you are taking it out on average survivors?

I have many hours in this game going back to 2017, I am just over 4000 hours of playtime. I main Amanda Young when I play killer. I know what it's like to get bullied as a killer. It's definitely not fun. I however don't turn around and start playing like a sweat lord who has vowed to get vengeance on every survivor like they are the Russian mob who just killed my dog and stole my car.

On Amanda I run A nurses calling, Brutal Strength, Enduring and Monitor and Abuse. I never try to slow the game down, I only slug occasionally when I am actually getting bullied. I NEVER tunnel, I make a very distinct point to NEVER tunnel. When a survivor gets hooked I make note of who I hook and how many times I have hooked them. I ALWAYS let survivors get unhooked, I never chase them off the hook. I go for 2 hooks on each survivor, and then some downs before I let every survivor go. I always score 21-25k points. I don't always kill all the survivors and "Win" But I always get legitimate GG's and +rep from survivors. I even meet people I am happy to see again or vice versa.

This is a challenging way to play, you don't always succeed. It's EASY to camp and tunnel. It's EASY to slug for the 4k. It's EASY to play like a dick. Ultimately the killer CONTROLS the pace of the game. As a killer you are playing with 4 other PEOPLE. Ultimately at the end of the day it's about having FUN not winning. Is it fun for you to prevent 4 other people from having fun?

Thoughts? Opinions? Personal Anecdotes? Lets hear some juicy rants from both sides please.

You are not wrong, the community is getting infestated by children that invade the game, there are some content creators that make dbd videos focused more on kids, thats really bad for the community in general because its becoming the Fortnite community.

Hey fellow hags in the fog,

I have been playing hag in purple-ish ranks for the last while and absolutely loving her. I usually run nurses, sloppy, monitor, and ruin, but have been struggling with gens flying lately, especially on larger maps like coldwind and red forest.

I keep on hearing conflicting advice about corrupt intervention: SpaceCoconut, a big hag main, claims it hurts hag, and Michi, arguably the best hag player I've seen at least, uses corrupt every build.

What are your thoughts on corrupt intervention on the hag? Should I be using my 9000 shards on plague?

I'm conflicted if I should be getting this perk from plague. It seems like a lot of the time the survivors get super agressive when corrupt is in play and harass the hag in the early game so it is hard to set up traps. Or 2 gens still pop in the first two minutes, regardless of corrupt is in play.

Would love to hear your opinions about this perk, and any strategy for trap placement you use if you use it. Thanks for helping out a baby hag!

Hag was my first main, I got to rank 1 in a month with her, she is a really strong killer if you know how to use her, she has her traps that can close loops and catch survivors off guard, no, you dont need Corrupt Intervention, she can place traps quickly and she can just ignore the time that trapper needs to get his traps along the maps and place them precisely, tho Hag need a lot of moves that you need to predict, like putting traps that only trigger when ou are in chase so you get the second hit and even some traps to force the survivor to crouch all the way throught the basement so she can slowdown the game wih her perk Hex Ruin, use Iron Grasp to get people to the basement, Hex Devour Hope and maybe Thrill of the Hunt to protect the totems, but you need to understand that some perks like Agitation from trapper, Hex Haunted Grounds from spirit, and Make your choice from Pig are probably perks that you want on your future build, still Corrupt INtervention is a really good perk to patrol early gens, but not necessary on Hag.

If she’s standing still at the other end of the pallet and you leave the loop, she can just follow your scratch marks and sounds while you have no idea what she’s doing. She moves at 176% by default when in her power and her power lasts for 5 seconds so she has plenty of time and movement to consistently catch you while there’s nothing you can do except maybe try to throw her off a bit. That hardly ever works against good Spirits though.

Whats the point of leaving scratchmarks then? You can just walk or even crouch to make les noie and less visual tips for the killer.

You want an 'I win' button. There isn't one for any killer. How do you counter a good nurse? You don't really.

We are talking about spirit not nurse

  • @GannTM said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2234008#Comment_2234008

What’s the counterplay then? It better not be a perk.

Players at jungle gyms can start to walk and there are lots of possibilities, he might go for the window, he might stop at the courner, he might vault the pallet, he might double back, there are lots of possibilities, I have ot even mentioned any perks as you said.

  • @Lucent said:

The issue is you are lazy. Let's be honest, you don't want to learn how to counter her because it's inconvenient for you so you whine and complain. She is simple to play and simple to counter.

    agreed

  • @Phasmamain said:

While I do find these nerf spirit threads a bit boring can we just acknowledge that both twins and Freddy got nerfed before spirit did? (And no I don’t count the add on nerf since it didn’t fix anything really)

Spirit still needs more training then freddy that was a killer just behind spirit at the killer tiers that any newb could play with if he knew the basic of the game, the freddy is just put 2-3 blood pools at the loop and its locked down, and spirit can be really difficult against key cocky survivors.

  • @danielmaster87 said:

You try playing against good survivors with Spirit and see how "easy" she is.

    Thats what I meant

  • @TwitchyMike said:

I think I can speak for most people that spirit is just broken. Correct me if I'm wrong but anyone who I talk to about this game says spirit is just broken. I get it it's the normal part of gaming experience for one thing to be over powered. But sometimes games against spirit...... I'd have more fun hitting my junk against a hot stove lol xD

I should clarify I've only logged in 157 hours into the game over the last year so maybe she's always been this way?

Im spirit main and yes she takes skill to play, she needs a good headphone and a good game sense, if you just start to play as spirit from one day to the other you will see that it takes some practice but when you matser it you never even need to care about trying other killers, I might be wrong and I might just be a bad player that had to take hours of training at KYF to play as her at competitions but we never know.

  • I mean the rare moments I do play survivor when someone gets downed I enter to a locker when I cant hide behind a gen and the team mate that was doing the gen with me gets out of the gen and start to try to get me out of the locker, that pisses me of as its giving my localization and his as well, thats why I play as killer, soloqueue sucks and I am a masochist that likes suffering from key SWF and survivor sided game, but thats DBD lol

  • laughing at some Sluzzy posts, nothing wrong I suppose.

Playing a few games at red ranks has reminded me how overpowered killers can be. Doctor and overpowered Bubba with his 1-shot that lasts forever. Before I reached the third game, it was a slugging overpowered Huntress of course. You can’t play long without seeing Huntress because she is so overpowered with an unfair advantage. At one point, one was on the hook, another was slugged, I tried to make a save before they reached death stage and she played proxy camp and got me before I could make the save. 4 gens was still up and survivors are helpless.

Killers moan about that one loss, but there is no question 4K happens too much. A coordinated SWF is the only possible way to somewhat slowdown killrushers. But most SWF don’t win either. Killers have been buffed too much and survivors nerfed too much. Way too many tracking and gen perks making it too easy for killers.

A mid-chapter buffing survivors and survivor perks like they gave tinkerer would be a refreshing change. Where is the survivor’s NOED? It doesn’t exist. Constantly nerfing survivors and buffing killers is making the game unfun.

It needs to be looked into how much killers win.

NOED ISNT KILLER PERK, IT IS r20 PERK, ANY SKILLED KILLER DOESNT NEED NOED AS I SAID YOU ARE A RANK 20 KILLER THAT TRIED PLAYING AGAINST r20 SURVIVORS THAT JUST STARTED PLAYING THE GAME THATS NOT THE AVERAGE PLAYER

clearly just another Sluzzy post, lets remember that he is a 10 yo child that doesnt know how to plat the game and thinks that the game is killer sided just because she cant get away of any chase alive against a clown, and abput your post sluzzy, winning as killers can mean lots of different things, but in general 2 sacrifices and 2 escapes is a tie 3 sacrifices and 1 escape is a win, 3 escapes 1 sacrifice is a loose( all that by the point of view of the killer) and you are a rank 20 killer that played against survivors that just started playing the game and got the 4k, props for you that is very skilled as we see.

Surely its gonna compete with the Office as the best comedy of all times.

  • @Sluzzy said:

I've seen these enough and they need serious nerfing. Either that or survivors need major buffs. I got out of a match against a Blight and I've never felt so cheated in games of all my life. First of all, I spawned with a Nea and we almost finished a gen but the Blight was given a "free" beacon that it was almost done so he shows up without any warning whatsoever. After a short tussle with the Nea she goes down away from the gen. Because of crutchy ruin, it lost almost half of our progress. In the meantime, the Blight uses his free aura read to chase another person off a gen and left her on the floor when he got the signal I almost had the first gen completed again so what does he do? With one on a hook, the other on the floor, he sprints across the map to get me off the "first" gen that should have been done a long time ago. I go down and hooked and both gens lost all progress. Because of perks two gens were lost. How is that even remotely fair?

By the way, the cycle continued and everyone is dead with 5 gens still up. A look at his perks shows BBQ, Ruin, Undying, Tinkerer.

I am sorry killers, if you win with this combo you didn't win because of skill whatsoever. No matter how good the survivors are and how hard they try to do the objective, you are using 4 crutch perks for a free win. You are carried because of perks. Every rank 1 blight is winning with this combo non-stop and the devs need to stop sleeping and look at this combo and how much killers are winning with it. It has to be astronomical.

BBQ and Tinkerer needs to be a one-time use perk like survivor perks. These perks are way too game changing to be used all the time. Put it on a 120 second cooldown. Something to make them fair.

Sluzzy please I require you to play as spirit with Tinkerer Ruin Undying and get 4k at r1 if it is a free win as you said, I know you arent gonna reply this because you know that you cant, if you want i send you a video of me playing against key swf with Stridor Ruin Thrilling Tremors Tinkerer and Duration and speed add-ons, .

I can hardly bring myself to play or enjoy survivor anymore. Every match is an all-out bloodbath.

Today I decided to play this game and relax, as survivor. Out of 5 matches this evening, 4 are sweaty hardcore huntresses. No matter how hard you try, there is no avoiding the hatchets and your entire team is on their belly. 5 hatchets is simply way too many with no cooldowns between throws. The fact this killer was not nerfed blows my actual mind.

Do the devs realize how much this killer is spammed? Apparently they are ignoring stats. Fairness not important here?

Then another killer. Fill in the blanks. A wipeout at 4 gens still up. Eventually everyone gave up.

I think it is obvious at this point balance is an after-thought. The survivor objective is way too difficult compared to the killer objective. This issue is compounded heavily by the fact killer perks removes objective progress from the survivor side and aura perks do the job for killer. The killer perks are way too oppressive and overpowered.

There is not enough survivor defenses on the map. It is too easy for killers to track survivors. Maps have too many deadzones, there is not enough fog anymore, and killers can see right through any foliage on the maps.

If you are not going to give survivors ways to defend against the killer, at least make the maps have opportunity to easily stealth. Ideally, both should be an option. Right now neither exists. Removing stealth, adding in aura perks, making maps brighter, removing pallets, making maps smaller, have all made the game all lopsided in favor of killer. It doesn't help survivors have been nerfed non-stop 5 years in a row. I would say the game is now broken in favor of killer. It's borderline unplayable. If you win as survivor, it is because the killer let you win.

Reverse course for a change, buff survivors and make the game fair. Killers shouldn't default winning all the time.

Not to say that you think that huntress is op, she has a rocket launcher hitbox I agree, but she is one of the worst map control killer and if you are struggling to get 1 gen done or your tem is killing you or you just had a bad match and thinks that hunstress is the best killer in the world and the game is killer main by all sides( wich is absolutely not).

Playing soloqueue doesnt count, I wanted to see you say that as a killer main going against that guys that put the killer shack hatch offering and key when the clock hits 6 seconds missing, the game is really survivor sided not to start by talking about the SWF Key teams that are usually salty as hell and just think that they are the best players of the game because they could escape with a key, if you are struggling at soloqueue we need to fix the matchmaking not a buff to survivor that are gonna abuse that on coordinated teams genrushing the ######### out of the gen and bringing keys to the match.

  • @TwitchyMike said:

Trickster is very underpowered I'll agree and speak personally to this. The maps weren't made for a multiple trick shot killer who takes 16 hits with a ranged attack to down you. Idk if they should lower the amount of hits it takes to down someone or give him a speed buff. But your average player has trouble picking up trickster and being viable. Again you can't look to your R1 players all the time and call that your proof. Majority players is what's lacking here. After all we're playing a 4v1 game not CSGO tournament level stuff here.

    agreed lol

This is intended as a discussion for the upcoming and new perk: Bite the Bullet and how it fares against Iron Will. As much as I want to like BtB, I can't help but wonder why anyone would run it over IW seeing as IW just let's you be quiet always as opposed to only when health like with BtB.

While we're at it here I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it's intentional that BtB silences other characters when you heal them or if that is a bug? Also when you heal someone else with BtB yourself, does it make both of you quiet if you're both injured 🤔

I have too many questions surrounding this perk so forgive me.

Anyways my personal thoughts on it are it's basically a Technician but for healing and while I really like the idea and concept of this perk it feels so incredibly overshadowed by Iron Will's mere existence.

You really want to make a comparision that is that unfair? BtB need a buff like more speed when in the killer terror radius and no sound for the for the healing person and the person being healed as a little counter of maybe nurses callining or courlfobia in a way, and Iron Will we dont even have to say why its one of the best perks in the whole entire game( notto talk about the rookie spirit that should stop one gen of regressing at a time, it would be a awesome kinda counter of Ruin, not just stop the gen of regressing because it would be too good but maybe make it regress 25% slower at yellow level and 40% slower at purple.

  • If you justsay that nurse is bad because you tried her one match and got 0k its because you dont have practice with her,she is not necessarily bad, actually she is one of the best killers in the game, she just need practice, about trickester I cants ay the same, he is a fun killer to play, his chaser emblems are broken but he is not strong definitel in maps like Azarovs or coldwind( jungle gym especifically), he need a ton of practice but if you put the same effort on a nurse or a spirit you will have a lot more coming back from it.

which survivor perks from dead by daylight are true to your abilities in real life?

    for me it's probably

    • iron will - i don't vocalise when injured. several piercings done and not a peep the whole time
    • alert - weirdly, i can tell when the front door of the house gets opened because of the way the air pressure moves. anyone else got something like this?
    • up the ante - known for always getting rare drops in video games, rolling high on need/greed. my friends get upset with me when we compete on loot in ffxiv because i always win it lol
    • autodidact - i'm a fast learner, rapidly iterating and improving on new skills in a short period of time.

maybe it doesn't have to be only survivor perks. if anyone has a history of spontaneously causing technical difficulties for electrical devices nearby then, by all means, tell me you have surge 😂 i've definitely heard that's a thing for some people.

I have the Quick and Quiet without the part of the quiet lol

Killers MUST be able to play around pallets in some way. Never completely negate them obviously, but if every filler pallet took 15 seconds and pallet gyms 40 seconds CONSISTENTLY, game would be unplayable and very unfun for killer. Just play as m1 wraith and put an offering for meat plant and you'll see why it's necessary evil.

Killers already have a way to play around pallets( wraith is just a bad killer my bro accept that), Killers like Spirit and Nurse , Nurses blink( you can just pass the pallets but needs a lot of training to max out) Spirit has her phase( that helps her just get the second hit in just a little time just ignoring pallet if you learn how to play as her Im Spirit main so I know the work it takes), Enduring( you can disrespect pallets all you want without being punished), Spirit Fury ( helps you disrespect pallets and then just ignore the breaking action( combos really well with the enduring) and finally Brutal Strength (helps you break pallets quicker), so you got that right? If you want to make the wraith the perfect example of killer you are really not getting anywhere.

That's exactly my point. Pallets don't gain you anymore time like they use to which is then negated by a killers speed. Breaking a pallet for a killer isn't as much of a problem as it use to be.

Agreed. Pallets continue to be an issue. Some of that could be optimization problems which is a big issue on console.

I am not a member of the LGBTQ+ Comunity, but I respect it as everyone should, i think that there is no point at camping or tunneling someone with this charm, I am just using this charm as Killer as I know that this situations are happening to a lot of people, that should count as sportsmanalike just like normal camping should be, we never know how the Devs pretend to fix this.

Is it me or are pallets becoming less and less useful with each new killer? The game has been getting new killers that have the ability to bypass pallets. Nurse use to be the only one that can bypass pallets but now we have a lot of killers that can get around them with ease. As a built in defense survivors have pallets, vaults and blinding. New killers need to compete with swf teams so they create new killers to deal with that issue but make survivor defense mechanics obsolete in the process.

Does anyone else feel like maybe, just maybe there should be a new defense mechanic for survivors to replace pallets? Something more fun, survivors what do you think?

The pallets are getting no use, I agree, something other that I must say is that the pallet hitboxes are not getting stuns, everybody knows that, I am killer main and seems like each update there is another bug that just ignores pallets and even swing not to get stunned, I think they should start to work more at pallet hitboxes( not to say about Deathslinger and Huntresse`s hitboxes).

  • The rare time I play SWF e play talking about tactics, but some times we just face a bad killer and start to troll, like we do no gens and start to ds head on him, on the end of the match we usually give him the 4k so hes not gonna be so pissed with us or maybe we not spoil his day for the killers that take the game absolutely serious, but on normal matches we play seriously like a Optimal Team, but 90% of the time I`m playing Solo Queue or as killer.

How i knew they were new players? Their ranks were between yellow and green, just 2 matches i get red and purple ranks. I checked after end game.

How i understand they were new players in game? When you are chasing them and when they are running behind rock, not to pallet or windows you can understand they are new. When you are see Baby Dwight hiding in locker, you know he is clearly new player. Or Meg dropping all God-Tier pallets and running without look behind, you know she is new player. When you get 5 hooks without 0 gen, yes they are clearly so new.

And you know, killing them is not fun. I just felt bad, they do not know how to play, i am just killing them like bots. And then i give up and i did let them escape.

Please fix your matchmaking, that is biggest problem in game seriously. As survivor i have to get skilled survivors like me and good killer against me. As killer same, i have to get skilled survivors for fight.

not to say about the matchmaking time that we have to wait just to get a match , and when we get it is against SWF Key survivors.

Matchmaking on low ranks( 8, 7...) is absolutely broke, you get r 15 survivors and r 5 killers, whats the point of making the survivors play badly against a good killer, when I play killer( I am Rank 6) I usually get 2 pips and 3-4 k on r 1-2 survivors, I mean whats the point with that? shouldnt I get R6-5-4 survivors?

You have a healthy mind set.

The other day I was facing a Trickster at Haddonhell (solo queue) and he kept slugging the second last survivor. I kept picking her up (safely), and he'd keep finding her and downing her again. Just REFUSED to hook her. God knows how long that went on for, but she eventually bled out and I got the hatch anyways (sheer luck that I found a purple key way earlier in a chest). But it was just miserable lmao. At one point I was seriously considering just walking over to this sweat-lord and begging him to kill me so it would end.

But I'm a spiteful SOB so....

What is with that anyways? Dude already got a crap-ton of BPs, so what's the point?

With the time he is trying to get the 32 k 4 kills he could have gotten more 20k just playing another match.

I just hook them and if the fourth finds the hatch, so be it.

It's not worth the time to me to slug #3 and get into a game of hide & go seem with survivor #4 (especially if they circle around and pick up their partner cause now I'm back to hide & go seek without a built in slug timer).

I'm just gonna kill them and let the chips fall where they fall.

exactly the game is not gonna get any funnier you passing 30+ minutes trying to find the 4 sneaky survivor that revives the other one and sneakes into a locker, believe me I was the kinda guy that slugged the 3 guy and started to search the 4 survivor, every time the 3 survivor is revived you start to get pissed, youn only loose time and fun searching infinitely for the 4 survivor.

I mean you should put the guy on the hook as now they need to fail skillchecks t get sacrificed, Slugging is one of the best game strategies but is it really worth for you, I mean if you are slugging and you sacrificed 2 guys and there are 2 gens missing I really dont think that you are slugging the right way or you slugged the hole match, slugging doesnt give you pips and if you slugg at some point there will be no survivors at gens or 1 only survivor at gen, if there is only one survivor at a gen you should be able to slowdown their game, and so if their game is slowed down you can easily get the 3k without the hatch even appearing as a snowball, I dont want to seem like guy that is annoying by criticizing your way to play, all I am trying to say is that slugging the 3 survivor and trying to find the 4 one isnt a good idea if the hatch hasnt spawned, and if the hatch has spawned you had a difficult early game or maybe you got a SWF, either way is difficult to have a comeback if your early game was bad, so I something to offer you, I usually use Spirit with Stridor, Ruin, Tinkerer, Thrilling Tremors, slugg is only necessary if you had a really defficult early game or you started to snow ball the survivors, Slugging isnt necessary in this build as you are probably not gonna pass 1 gen done. I really hope that helped you :) Peace Out

That does NOT guarantee that you are gonna have 4k on every match as its not a cake recipe or the memorized hatch spawn locations, as Spirit you have more speed than other killers to find the hatch only loosing to Nurse when the hatch is at the top of a little mountain as she can just blink and ignore the mountain that the survivor has to follow. Either way you shouldnt try to 4k every game, that doesnt make your game any funnier or any happier, but make your choice, Fun or 4k every game.

  • @Gens_Before_Friends said:

As we know hatch standoffs were changed some time ago so that the killer can close the hatch, but it then that powers the doors. We really need some type of new change when it comes down to the last two survivors.

Needing to slug a survivor to make sure you can actually get the 4k takes so long. Down a survivor go around looking for the lone survivor hiding somewhere find out they picked up the downed survivor, down them again, do the search again, and again all the way until someone bleeds out or you get the 4th survivor.

This is extremely boring for the slugged survivor and boring for the killer when we could be in a 2nd or even 3rd game by the time you find the 4th survivor. It's not fair for the killer to just give the 4th survivor the hatch either and unless you know exactly where the hatch and doors are killing the 3rd survivor is too risky.

Thoughts on what should change about the current meta of needing to slug a survivor to guarantee a 4k?

Long time lurker this is my first created post :D

I'd argue that it's Quentin, not Ace. Up The Ante is worthless. Luck is a joke. Open-Handed doesn't do anything for him if he's going au naturale with his perks, but if you're not doing Adept Ace, then it pairs wonderfully with perks like Bond and Kindred, and applying to the whole team is a nice bonus. Ace in the Hole also isn't bad. Opening chests is a bit of wasted time, but the items you'll find will be way higher quality than the usual - medkits with bonus heals or even a styptic, toolboxes with extra charges, keys with aura reads or that you'll keep after the trial no matter what, etc. It's also the only thing you can do in-game to actively build up your addon stock, so that's nice. It's not a good perk, but it's got its uses. So for Ace, 1/3 garbage and 2/3 meh.

Quentin's perks are a bit more garbage than that. Vigil doesn't shave off enough time to be worthwhile and the only effect you'd care about with it is Exhaustion. Wake Up doesn't do enough for what it is - if you last that long in the trial and you're the one in position to open the gates, great, you do it 3 seconds faster. Could possibly save you in a last-man endgame collapse scenario and that's it. Sure, your teammates see where the gate is when you're opening them, but they already get that info when the gates are powered. Pharmacy is the best of the lot, and it's really just what it says on the tin - you open a chest and get a green medkit, which is a quick self-heal. Great? It does have uses, but you'd be better off just bringing a medkit - it's more reliable. I give Pharmacy points for the situation you want to bring another item but want a reliable heal too, but considering the effort to find and open a chest, Self-Care is going to be the better option in nearly every way. Pharmacy's best use is just getting your character a lot of green medkits, which you can then bring later without using Pharmacy.

    So that's 2/3 garbage and 1/3 meh.

Vigil only works in a considerable way with 4 vigils one in side of the other and Pharmacy makes you opens chests faster and the 1 chest that you open comes a green medkit, as you said is more reliable to bring your own medkit, and I agree with that, ,the point of wake up is that its a info perk that may help pther survivors at the endgame, like they are looping the killer and they couldnt see where the exit gates where when they were pin pointed, Wake up can come in clutch but again its a support perk and its very occasional.

As I said meme perks, I am just comparing them by their best perks, if it`s their best perks doesn`t mean that they are good it means that they are their best perk or they have a utilitie at the meme build like plundering chests with Appraisaal Plunderer`s instinct and Ace in The Hole, again, a meme build.

Imo dcs should count as kill, but its not really important.

DC`s right now count as Brutallity points, just 650, I think that a DC should give all the sacrifice points + 3 hooks points, and the point of it being not a kill is what pisses most players when they are trying to do the adept of any killer, so yes in my opinion they should count as a kill or a sacrifice.

Credit to Pixel Bush for this idea, but he’s the only one of the original four not to get tome lore so far. Yes, it’s true that he isn’t as popular as the other three, and often gets shafted, but it’s been so long since they received their tome lore that it’s interesting.

We know they’ve been planning to have a LGBTQ+ character for a while, and Jake would be a great choice imo.

AsJakes lore says his father did not like the way he lived his life so he went to a forest long away from his father, he seems really lonely to me but if they change that at the lore they could completely make the lore all work together as he being a LGBTQ+ comunity member, but as the way the lore is right now I dont think it makes any sense, we never know.

  • @Laluzi Steve does have a perk anti-camping used by lots of players at tournaments, still, on normal matches you rarely make use out of this perk as it is a anti camping perk and you have to be a good looper or a toxic player to piss off the killer in a way that he decides to camp you, Ace doesnt have any perk that helps you in a normal match situation, Ash has the Mettle of Man the meme perk, and Quentin has wake up that helps survivors other than you see what eit gate are you opening and you have a buff of 15%, its a solo queue perk that might not even come in use in any matches if you dont achieve the endgame just like adrenaline, but adrenaline isnt even a good comparation to this perk as it is infinitely better than wake up, as you said about Leon , he has got the flash bang perk that might combo with head on ds on the future but we still dont know, his perks are preety bad as we can see in PTB, let`s see if he can be maybe buffed on the rookie spirit and Bite the bullet, my Idea is that Rookie Spirit can stop one gen of regressing at a time, and the healing Bite the Bullet could maybe increase the healing speed if its on the killer`s terror radius and you and your allie being healed are completely silent as they heal.

Ace Visconti is the worst survivor when judged by his perks, Yun Jin Lee has the exhaustion perk that is not that bad but also not that good, the Self Preservation is very occasional as it only works if you are in chase and someone bodyblocks a hit for you, then you leave no scratchmarks and the Fast Track, it is a meme gen rushing perk as you are able to use the Brand New parts without having it and you can combo with resilience, spine chill, fast track, stake out and someone other then you with prove-thyself, you can complete the gen way faster then with the brand new parts if there are 2 guys with prove-thyself( 1 buffing 3 guys and the other buffing the first guy).About Ace Visconti, he has a semi Iron Will built in, his perks are, Open Handed, increases the aura reading ability for survivors by 16 meters, Ace in the Hole makes you get add ons on your plundered item( you can check the table of drops here: https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Ace_in_the_Hole#:~:text=Ace%20in%20the%20Hole%20allows,Item%20has%20equipped%20upon%20escaping.&text=of%20all%20Survivors-,Lady%20Luck%20always%20seems%20to%20be%20throwing%20something%20good%20your,Very%20Rare%20Rarity%20or%20lower. ) and last one is Up The Ante, another meme perk that combos with the luck set up, usually used by players that are ghosting the killer that have Devour Hope so they can get out of the hook without having Deliverance. I really hope that this helped you in some way to decide which one is the worst survivor in the game when ranked by perks. Peace out :)

Does Appraisal work on the box you get them out of?

Nope, Appraisal only works at chests, the vaccines are suply boxes, the Cut Coin or Shiny Coin also don`t work at the vaccine supplies.

  • if its a DS rework you cant use it with normal ds, if it is another perk you CAN use with ds, so you have 2 chances to get out of the killer grasp

    Hex: Blood rage
