I don't know. How is finishing gens in 4 mins still aloud? It's your job to finish your objective as quick as you can and it's the killers job to kill the survivor as quick as they can.
-
Spirit is stronger Sadako is scarier.
-
Can SBMM be an option to turn off I'd like that mostly but, also boon reworks.
-
He never was able to do that it always goes away instantly in the basement, gens, hooks, door switches, and I think totems as well.

I don’t like the idea of more perks being basekit that’s all I can say.
Agree with you there.
-
There's 2 options you could combo together Monitor and Abuse with Shadowborn than you're good.

lol - I see the devs looking at this and going - oh, yea, that's something we need to look at before we re-activate her.
I mean possibly lol but, they dude look at that user who made that comment and banned them cause they started being extremely toxic in here. Not to me but, to someone else.

I mean that sounds like a lose lose situation right there lol.
I feel your pain though as I play off peak hours too, I do definitely agree it's not as sweaty consistently. You can still get hard games but you do tend to get some chill ones mixed in as well
Yeah definitely I've had plenty of mixed games at that time some really good teams and others that aren't that good but, have an idea on what they're doing

Yeah most games are like that though, peak times you naturally have a wider pool of players as well as verse people who dont play as much or only play when they get back from work/school etc.
When playing off peak times your more likely to run into those who have more freedom to play whenever or all the time (exception of night shift workers)
True unless that night shift worker would rather play DBD at work rather than watch over there business.
-
Boons for me they don't provide any challenge when playing Survivor and make the game a little to easy and boring.
-
I see her from time to time but, not a lot

I discovered the game in June of 2020 so I never got to experience it :/
ah really that sucks it was always funny just get yoinks and scare the survivors but, there were ones that just rage quit once they got yoinked.

I feel most would disagree lol.
I know a lot will disagree lol it's to be expected but, I still enjoyed it.
-
I miss old prayer beads where her phase was silent and you could get unfair gen grabs that was funny to play as and scary to vs.

“I died to a baby doc” smh I’ll never understand salty players.
I can sometimes but, when I do understand them they take it way to far and I'm like you guys need to chill out you have hundreds of future games ahead of you that you'll win and loose.

I feel like that would be a separate single player game.
that is possible.
-
It ain't that bad but, it also depends how good you are with billy and on the maps. Try running Lethal on Billy for maybe an early down

@Tsulan said:
Whenever someone calls you a baby killer, just answer something like this:
"And I still beat you. So where does this place you?"
Apart from that, it's best to ignore the chat.
Maybe I will say that next time XD probably not though I don't like to add up to the drama unless there complaints are very stupid than I question them except they leave before I could say anything most of the time.

Salty peeps be salty *shrug*
That do be true.

Honestly I'd like to try first person survivor I think that'd be very challenging and make DBD more scary.
-
Welcome back
-
Sluzzy to be fair there was probably weird hit detection between you and the killer they might've had a better ping than you hence you got a few unfair hits plus the hatchets have a beachball collision so yeah they do happen from time to time.
Also from the posts you put on the forums you kinda make yourself a target in the game like no offense but, your posts constantly saying Survivor is to weak, Killer is op, nerf this, rework this killer, etc. You'll probably from time to time have a killer that'll target you because of your posts and they'll be like it's Sluzzy?? I'm gonna tunnel/slug/camp them and see how good they are.
Plus you sometimes just try and sacrifice yourself on the first hook because you got caught so quickly.
-
This map is decent for the first in door map. I always welcome a match on Lery's.
-
I hope they don't announce it early too. However it'll be the anniversary chapter so i think they'll want to keep that hidden as best as possible
-
It was one of my favorites wish it came back.
-
I really enjoy playing against Bubba and always look forward to a chase cause he always brings an intense moment if he'll catch ya with his chainsaw and if I get face camped well it's no difference than any other killer so I just except it and move on.
-
I wouldn't mind seeing Dead Space but than again EA may want more than what they get cause they greedy.

Yea but I agree that linking it to just M1 makes it kinda pointless to most Killers that thier powers making downs easier ie huntress, tricky boi, etc
true

Jolt, Sloppy Butcher (basically any Perk with an M1 restriction)
I don't play M1 Killers so I can't stand the M1 restriction
Really. I understand Surge not being that useful all the time but, Sloppy is pretty decent for most of the killers mainly the stealth ones.
-
True I've seen many teams beat me and other good killer players without dead hard all the time.

Probably he gets tunneled, brings ds the next match, then doesn't get tunneled.
I get tunneled all the time but never bring DS.
-
@VikingDragonXii said:
...then your not using it right because DS is one of the most useful Perks survivors have. Please pre tell is your reasoning on saying it's a wasted perk slot. I'm being serious and curious.
The timer goes out later down the line when the killer finds me and if I do have the timer still the killer catches me like 20 seconds after it runs out.

Don’t you get more shards the higher your devotion level is??
it's for each level you go up the higher the level the more shards you get the devotion is just there.

They're playing Hockey remember it's like shooting a puck ;)

I don't think your "counterplay" to dh will ever work if its a semi decent survivor using it for distance. Noed destroys solos so hard because unless you run small game (which only gives you info its possibly coming) which then you have to solo save your team from it. It's not the easiest to work around.
Works well fine for me I never have an issue with dead hard even against good teams sure sometimes I miss time my swing and Dead Hard saves them or there ahead of me and just dead hard to reach a pallet or vault in time but, I never have an issue with dead hard in my games anyway.
-
I was more competitive back than and I would rage more as killer than survivor cause I couldn't hit anyone and they knew how to loop me. Killer made me get stressed back than and as survivor I was just enjoying myself but, I needed some help with killer now I can enjoy playing killer and not worry about getting stressed now mostly anyway.
-
Death Sword for Nurse could be a cool one.
-
Can I have those matches I love RPD :)
-
No it doesn't need a nerf I think people are just over reacting to the perk. It's not that big of a deal I've seen many players who've had dead Hard but, still go down pretty easily.
-
Bubba doesn't need a nerf he's fine as he is sure you're not gonna have a harder time against a face camping trying to save a teammate but, in chase you can still ignore him pretty well.
-
To be fair Survivors also do the same thing sometimes as well but, yeah the same with some killer players too. Also you beat the strongest thing in the game. Sluzzy be like impossible how'd you do that?
-
Hacker most likely
-
I don't see it to much and when I do it's not really that much of a game changer.
-
Because you can easily avoid NOED and it's not always a guaranteed perk it's always a 50/50. It's good sure but, not top level good there's many perks to help prevent NOED from being activated in endgame like Counterforce or Detective's Hunch and even than if you're a good looper or runner you won't have that big of an issue with NOED.
-
Deathslinger I don't enjoy the slow aim in he has now I miss quickscoping and getting so many great shots.

Hmm, there is an issue with correlation and causation here. I think you're coming with from the argument established by Coconut, and while there is possibly a correlation there, the latest downwards trend started in August after possibly the biggest spike the game ever had, not in September as he says. That spike coincided with the RE chapter, exposing DBD to a much larger already existing player base of the Franchise.
While such periods of exposure are nice in the short/mid term, we have to acknowledge that RE usual players tend to enjoy those titles as they are released, alternating with other games. That is different from the constant stream of content produced by DBD and other games with an extended life cycle. While DBD can retain some of those players, it's expected to lose most as the content consumption pattern is very different. That might explain better why the drop started in August when for that demographic the game was no longer a novelty: we had a great influx of players coming from a different franchise with different gameplay and consumption patterns.
Also, expect an even steeper drop when Elden Ring releases next week as lots of content creators and players from DBD migrated originally from Souls games.
I didn't even think of coconut's video actually when making this but, I see what you're saying. I was actually more thinking of choy's new video he published a few days ago.

How do we know that the people leaving aren't because mmr is broken and new players trying the game are like, "hell nah, bro, I do not want to play against red ranks just so the forums can tell me they have nothing to do with matchmaking as though that is not the exact problem."
I am not saying nobody left because of actual mmr. In fact, that is why matchmaking is so loose and now people might hypothetically be leaving because mmr doesn't work. I am telling you, mmr was added to help retention. The reason it is not working is because this is not true mmr.
I hate the old system, but I have to admit, it took awhile before you started playing against red ranks. Nowadays people be playing against them after their second or third game. It is really cringe, bruh.
Here's the thing with red ranks now is that someone could be an iri grade 1 right but, iri grade 1 in the old system could just be a rank 10 or 6 at best right. So there's some iri players that aren't that good yet and I've seen a decently hand fold as well of them as well.

I'm in a mix between Pinhead, Oni, Deathslinger, and Sadako.
