I don’t know why, though I suspect it has to do with the unlimited unbreakables and swf squads.
I would be all for no mither buffs, especially bps and noise reduction. I think even stacking speeds would be fine too.

I wish Julie didn’t look like a squishy Frank.

My normal build is way different too: Spine Chill, Distortion, Stake Out and Self Care. But sometimes I want to play different.

I tend to ignore people who want my attention. Especially those who use OoO or are flashlight clicking. I rather chase and kill the (often much weaker) rest first and go after the other at last when the hatch is closed and there is nowhere for him to go.
In theory that sounds good, in reality though the OoO still wins whether you chase him forever or ignore him. Ignoring is pretty dangerous when he can watch you back.
-
Ooh same with aftercare and wglf.
-
@Mochan said:
WGLF doesn't need any extra conditions to gain stacks.
What it needs is to actually do something. It's really dumb that it has absolutely no effect on the trial.
I could see wglf giving both the hooked and wglf user the ability to see the killer aura for 4 seconds when the unhooker is within 16 m of the hook.
But there should be extra options for stacks because survivors shouldn’t have to fight and claw each other for them.
-
Correct me if I’m wrong but even with how things are, can’t Legion put 2 and 2 together when there’s deep wounds still? Like you boop them, 20 seconds later they still have it, probably means they’re within 32 m right?
-
@Chaotic_Riddle said:
Doesn't really make sense, as the perk is supposed to reward you for actually rescuing your teammates. Not to mention that it can be easily abused and could end up being the one thing that costs your teammates their own lives, as you're sacrificing yourself for a few extra bloodpoints and giving the Killer more pressure on your life.
Well my logic is that way this would alleviate the rescue anxiety especially with a David in the game too. Everyone won’t have to fight for their stacks if they’re own hooks could be included too.
-
@DemonDaddy said:
I won't disagree that activation should be better specified, but killer perks should only be denied by player actions not because they have surmounted to much control.
Noed usually is fine though because it’s PUNISHING SURVIVORS IGNORING TOTEMS. You didn’t do them and just humped gens? Well tough, killer got you fair and square.
HOWEVER, in the case of last survivor egc where killer kills everyone and closes the hatch, THE KILLER is the one to initiate the endgame NOT THE SURVIVOR. Therefore it’s a bit unfair to activate noed against the sole survivor, particularly when they didn’t activate it themselves from greed or laziness nor did they progress with gens. It’s also a bit unsportsmanlike in this particular circumstance because the survivor had no chance to prepare against it nor would their fate change unless you showed mercy anyway.
-
@DemonDaddy said:
And I would say breaking the totems as early as possible is a better alternative than having an easy way out programmed in. That's just punishing a killer's perk choice because your in a tough situation.
I don’t necessarily think it’s punishing killer perk choice when the killer already killed 3/4 survivors with gens still up. The killer has essentially got it in the bag after closing the hatch and finding the survivor. It just won’t be as cheap.
And if I recall correctly, noed explicitly states after the gens are completed, which this scenario would not be the case.
-
What @ReikoMori said. Feel free to dodge if your spidey sense is tingling. But if you’re in a game, try to end it quickly and now you can open exits to initiate the egc. Rage dcing just hurts you and gives them the sick satisfaction of getting to you.
That’s why dodging lobbies is better too - no harm done and the real salty jerks are the ones offended they have to wait longer.
-
So I’m starting to believe most people saying Scream and Ghostface aren’t scary are saying it to be edgy.
Ghostface is scary. Every other horror icon is cold blooded, ruthlessly single minded in the kill. The victims were screen fodder for you to practically delight in seeing them killed, and the killers were matter of fact about it - nothing personal, just business.
Scream completely turns this on its head. Ghostface is hot blooded and enjoys playing with their food before goring the hell out of them and making them suffer. Scream humanizes the characters and make us root for them and feel sad when they die - the opening scene of Scream perfectly encapsulates this.
Not only that, but YES part of what makes Ghostface terrifying IS that he’s human. The boy next door. The class clown. Ghostface highlights the barbarity and monstrosity humans are capable of, even somebody you knew loved or trusted.
Ps: Scream, unlike other classic slashers, was made in the era of growing domestic terror, lone wolves full of hate looking to make it big by shooting and mass murdering. Michael Myers is not real. Ghostface is.
-
I’m secretly hoping it really is just a myth that’s never gonna come because he only needs some buffs like survivors being unable to repair when transitioning etc. and that’s it.
-
Underrated: Freddy, my dreamboat. I saved him for last because EVERYBODY said he was the worst but I found that was a great exaggeration. Oh he has some nasty flaws that shouldn’t be there because they’re borderline exploitive, but there’s ways and builds to have a fun time making survivors hurt.
Overrated: People say the Plague is midtier and they’re wrong since she’s solidly low tier, bottom of the barrel, forgotten. I think maybe Pig too but that maybe because I’m not fond of 90% stealth speed with reduced vision and a finite power that’s not even lethal anymore.
-
But he is going to be a killer.
Peer pressure - he’s far too sensitive.

Thanks everybody for the support!

That's the one. Bingo i would say. This would reduce the grind moderately on it's own.
True, and it would make prestiging worth it, but also I think all 3 would be a great move for everyone.

It sounds like Jason is litigious and dramatic.

@Volfawott said:
Though this is a good suggestion you have to realise that it would be very easily abused.
If 4 survivors have left behind the second one person dies that's 3 people have a 25% boost the level of gen Rush will be ridiculous.
And it still doesn't fit the theme of the park which is meant to be last one standing means you gain a lot of power.
You're not the last one standing and high levels of power are dished out it's kind of ridiculous
I honestly didn’t think of that.
I seriously was just going off my numerous experiences as a solo: playing the game, oh somebody’s down, oh they dced, repeat. Leaving me, the solo, alone with a bag and a wrathful killer with noed in my wake.
-
@Kagrenac said:
That's what is was supposed to be.
The perk was initially called 'Last Standing' and it is extremely overpowered. People hack it into the game. By the time 2 survivors are dead they're vaulting 50% faster and can infinitely loop some areas.
I’m not talking about vaults. Left behind should grant survivors 75% max (stackable with wake up) speed bonus to gens, exits, totems, hooks, and heals.
Maybe also 300% survival category bonus
-
The only major change he needs is that if you’re caught and you’re slept, you can’t do any actions until you fully transition. NO MORE WATCHING HELPLESSLY FEAR ME.
Awake survivors should not be able to body block.
That’s all he needs.

I can agree that Plague is kinda a forgotten figure. I think when I get her DLC i'll work on her like I did with Legion to make her viable in rank 1 matches so people get to see her more, how she currently is though will be kinda hard.
With Legion it was balancing a broken Killer, with Plague it'll be trying to pretty much make her Viable...
That’s the thing, she’s not viable. Perhaps with really expensive add ons, maybe, but again - literally no killer requires that level of investment and cost to work.
Another tell she’s not viable - there’s hardly if any Plague tips, tuts, and the like (if any) post her ptb nerfs. I can’t seem to find people who play her regularly to learn and YouTube creators like Monto have only a couple videos - both of which have effectiveness add ons. In comparison, when I realized I liked Freddy and was pretty handy with him aka The Worst Killer, I found all kinds of info that helped me out, including from vet Freddys here on the forums. It was like joining a secret underground Sharp Hand Joe Society where we liked and knew Freddy was better than his reputation.
There’s nothing like that for Plague.

What do you mean?
On my bad killer games (which usually end in 2 kills), I walk out with around 22k easy (and I don't run Ruin unless I'm playing Trapper so most of my games are short). Even if I go for the absolute worst I've ever done as killer, I'll walk out with 15k easy.
On a bad survivor game, well.... that's what this post was about. 1,400 points. 3,200 the next. It would take me about 5-8 back survivor matches to come out with the same amount I'd get from my absolute worst killer matches. The amount of time does not balance that at ALL.
And survivors holding games hostages is a random side note, and a thing of the past so not sure why you brought that up... but okay
To be fair, while bad survivor games with 1.2-4K max definitely do happen - they’re usually outliers like the great ones; most average survivor games usually grant you 8-19k points (assuming 20k is great.)
Anyways what I mean is say a survivor and a killer has 24 minutes. The killer game usually takes up that entirety for 24-27k points (assuming 30k is great and not average.) The survivor, however, could play 3 games in that time averaging 8-19k points.
I should note that survivors, while earning less, definitely have much more leeway in regards to what’s considered performing bad-great.
So let’s say you played and got 13k as survivor for those 3 games in 24 minutes. You would have ultimately earned more at 39k in 13k installments than a killer at 24-27k lump sum.
Let’s say you had a bad game (2k) an average game (10k) and a great game (20k.) That’s 32k and equal or more than what a killer would make in that same time.
-
“I’m an x main and I just started playing y and y is so easy/hard!”
Pardon my French but no fecal matter Sherlock. When you start rank 20 killer you’re going to have a fun time. When you start rank 20 survivor you’re gonna have a hard time simply by virtue that your teammates actually don’t know what to do.
When you hit rank 15, then things reverse.
-
Asking for Plague nerfs HA she is BY FAR the weakest killer.
Also ps to people claiming she wasn’t out long when the data was taken - exactly. She was BRAND NEW and few people played her and those that played against her figured out quick on what to do and didn’t fall victim to “new killer who this?” syndrome.
That’s not right.
-
Yes and no about blood points. On paper, killers earn more. In actuality it’s a draw.
Because killer matches are at least twice as long as survivor ones, and it’s not always guaranteed to get x points especially against certain groups. So on one hand you have long matches and more blood points, on the other you finish faster for less but you’re guaranteed to get your points in a relatively timely manner...some nasty survivors try to make a killer dc or hold them hostage.
-
@AshleyWB said:
Playing a match with a DC influences team performance.
I agree completely with the title except for getting achiement Vs a team with a DC
The point is that right now in the current state of the game, toxic survivors have 100% control over a killer going for adept - instead of the killer being 100% in control of how they get the adept achievement.
-
@TAG said:
Is that not how it is, or did it change at some point? When I got Adept Pig, I just killed all four Survivors, including DCs, using her 3 default perks.
It’s how it used to be, it’s how I got the necessary adept perks, but they changed it so that a merciless victory requires everything under the sun and the stars to align unfortunately.
-
If you are injured, you suffer a movement penalty after the initial speedboost.
Ngl I only found out recently that’s actually not the case.
-
Tbh either it should apply to all hooks or it should be built into the game.
And there definitely should be 100-200% blood point incentive for the sacrifice category.
-
I don’t think sabo needs buffing.
If it did, I could see partially sabotaged hooks breaking on unhooks. Like a mini breakdown.
-
Survivors:
- Jane. I’m a Jane main. I like cute clothes and how she’s not a skinny high schooler.
- David. Eye candy. Can’t wait for Thirties David.
- Nea. Stealthy lesbian <3 I just wish her flannel was bloody.
Killers:
- Freddy. I’m a Freddy main, I am scared about the rework.
- Michael. I see it, I want it, I got it.
- Doc. I like making survivors scream and his giggles are hilarious. I would say Plague because I love her design and I think she has potential, but she’s very unnecessarily weak.

@pemberley and so there is no reason for survs to be able to do toxic actions. It's no valid argument to only be against one of both. I'm fine with getting rid of the mori spam if they do the same for survs. Otherwise this send a wrong message to everyone
Literally nowhere in my posts did I suggest survivor toxicity should be okay. In fact, I agreed with @NurseMainBTW that flashlight clicking should be eliminated along with mori spams.
Toxicity on both sides should be discouraged and eliminated.
However, this particular thread is addressing the toxicity of mori spams. Just because survivors act like jerks does not justify mori spams, or what spamming the Ghost’s mori would entail.
-
@twistedmonkey said:
Maybe if you spam it more than 3 times within a set time frame it auto goes into the animation, say 30 seconds? that way it doesnt prolong the timethat much and it can be cancelled for the legit reasons others have stated.
It shouldn’t be able to be canceled though. There is absolutely no good reason why it should be canceled or why it shouldn’t be a one time button press.
When you’re killing someone, you are definitely putting them out of the game. The trade off SHOULD be that you are committing 10-15 seconds to it while the other survivors could be making progress.
Spamming is annoying and toxic, and in the case of the Ghost - who WILL be prime real estate for toxic killers unfortunately - spamming is both of those things and very disrespectful and distasteful to boot.

Okay so,
1 - bm wise, it's not that bad.
2 - If you think it's so bad that a killer can "look like" they're doing dirty, I'd just like to remind you that you're playing a game where you murder and sacrafice people.
1 - bm wise, bm shouldn’t be tolerated since at best it’s unsportsmanlike and at worst it’s pure toxicity. Bm wise, tea bags in comparison are rather goofy and ridiculous compared to simulating Deliverance. It’s wholly unnecessary to put it mildly.
2 - We’re all playing a game that’s clearly in the slasher horror wheelhouse. Murders and blood curdling screams are to be expected and even wanted. ######### is not part of it, nor should it be trivialized as such.

Long wait for survivor last night. Killer nearly instant. I am worried. Didn't play the event - was that any better??
The wait times during the event still had a noticeable length.
-
The fountain should cleanse plague and broken.
But the plague needs to be buffed where survivors WANT to cleanse AND its effects are worthy of survivors getting instant heals in exchange. Because with the fountain not only is Nurse’s useless on Plague but survivors completely bypass the healing time that keeps them preoccupied from gens.
Right now the plague is laughably weak and is essentially just green sfx.
-
@NurseMainBTW said:
If Killers wants flashlights to break after clicking them too fast, why not eliminate mori spam too? It would be a fair trade, don't you think?
True. I would have no problems with that trade and it would be perfectly fair.

@Orti said:
But there is a tactical reason to stop a Mori, what if you see another survivor as you start to mori someone and you want to chase him instead. If they make it a one time use crouching more the once then every let's say every 5 seconds
I think it’s reasonable to believe that you should commit to a mori.
-
Yes, Billy is bothersome but Billy can’t be touched until the other killers can deal with survivors as readily as he can.

I does seem to be taking longer. Not sure if it's a rank thing. I'm only rank 10 so I wouldn't think that would be it for me though.
I’m rank 13-15, it takes a little while. I don’t even bother with survivor after 9 at night.
-
In recent months I’ve noticed a drop on both sides, though much more noticeable on survivors.
I think at first we had a lot of traffic because it was free but with games like apex and such, I think people got away.
It doesn’t help that it’s more common to run into (mean) swf on ps4 just because of the console’s nature, probably dissuading killers from playing more. Especially after MoM hit. Likewise, killers that purposely go out of their way to kill the fun probably drives survivors away.
-
So
much
eye strain.
It took me a while to find her and I wasn’t playing. To be the killer on a harsh time crunch dealing with this is a killer who has my sympathies.

It would be kind of cool if the survivor’s aura showed for the duration of opening. Like that way it’s risky. Maybe then the basement can guarantee a non brown item.

Michael Myers is infinitely scarier than GF could ever be. And frankly Legion is scarier than Ghostfaces regular costume.
I think they’re equally scary. They’re just scary in different ways.
Michael is scary because he’s Pure Evil - otherworldly almost.
Ghostface is scary because Ghostface shows how HUMANS can be pure evil - especially in the modern era of Columbine and domestic terrorism committed by white men full of rage and hate (especially towards women and minorities.)
-
I think healing a DYING survivor should be a little faster. I also think that killers attacking a person being healed and a healer should have their attacks prioritize the healer instead. Right now it ignores them and puts the injured into dying.
-
Another good Scream perk would be a hard counter to balanced landing.
Your prey stumbles in fear. When falling, survivors suffer from the Hindered effect for 40/50/60 seconds.
”She runs up the stairs instead of going out the front door. It’s insulting.”
-
Surprise!
You can now hide in lockers, muting your terror radius and be immune to all detection perks. Any survivor within 24 m has their auras revealed and are exposed for 10/15/20 seconds.

Adam has a black coat. He has the same camou as Claudette. It's better actually -- black vs. brown.
No, because Adam is still a large model, his hair is pretty distinguishable, and while he has black and navy coats, they still flow. You can spot him easier than Claudette who literally can hide in plain sight. Also the brown is actually better because it blends in better with the earth tones of the map.

The thing, as I already said, is that Claudette is not the only one with this issue. Francis has this too with his prestige or purchased clothes, same with some Meg's clothes, and even Jake and David can become invisible with certain hairstyles and clothes while facing a wall. So, as I said, maybe Claudette is a 10% more of an issue than the others I mentioned, but if Claudette is first, next will be Francis, and so on there will be no black people, no long hair hairstyles and only bright clothes to wear.
Please don’t be hysterical.
Literally every single survivor besides Claudette has something about them that allows killers to know the difference between a survivor and a piece of debris. Nobody has a problem with these characters, and the minor complaints are minor because yes, while Adam can have dark clothes it’s given away by his large model and flowing coat. You can still find Adam. You can still tell it’s Adam and not some junk and clutter in Lery’s.
There is something quite gross in you insinuating there can be no black characters - of course there can be. It has nothing to do with blackness. The issue lies in Claudette being a petite model with form fitting clothes that are very earthy in tone. The designers clearly went with earth tones to signify her role as a botanist, they can achieve the same by instead making her clothes more vibrant and floral. Bam problem fixed.
