  • 1. I will show mercy to the survivor abandoned by disconnects.

    2. I will also show mercy if I killed everyone else and it was a good game, and they weren’t a jerkbag to me.

    3. I would also like to think I would also show mercy to the poor soul left behind after 3 friends jumped into the hatch. This happened to me before and I was terrified the killer would find me and kill me as payback...but he was really nice and took me to the hatch.

    4. Teabag me and I will make sure you struggle even if everyone else lives.
  • It was love at first sight with the Doctor. He is by far my favorite to play. I love the way he laughs, and his little stun groans are funny.

Then I would say Hag. I’m a Symmetra main on Overwatch and her play style really appeals to me.

Then it is a tie between Myers and Trapper. I like the strategy of trapper, the classic horror of Michael.
  • I hope I don’t sound jerky but I’m a PS4 user too and I haven’t had too much difficulty with the adepts I’ve gotten so far.

    Killers:

    Trapper
    Hag
    Doctor
    Myers

    Survivors:

    Claudette
    Nea
    Jake

Trapper was the first one I got and honestly I didn’t do anything special. I guess I would say a tip for AT would be to just think like a survivor when placing traps. Where would you least suspect a trap to be? Where would you path to avoid the killer? Where would you absolutely hate for a trap to be?

It’s really handy to put traps in hard to see places, after pallets, and on the other side of a vault point.

Also remember you CAN use offerings AND add ons and STILL get the adept achievements. At least with killers. And if survivors dc on you, don’t worry, your job actually just got easier because they count as elims.

Here a quick fix to limit being slugged. Do not use ds. If you do and we killers know you have it we will slug your ass. At one point i ran knock out primarily only to deal with these kinds of people making sure you stayed on the floor. Whilst I'd hook and pick up the rest of the survivours. Nowadays i slug but bring rancour to properly punish people who use that perk.

Something of note a killer will often switch up their tactics if the game isn't going well. So if as a team you finish 3 gens and no ones dead expect the killer to start slugging/tunneling or camping to try and eliminate a player. This is mostly because it very easy to lose a game hard if all 4 survivours are still up.
I wasn’t using ds. I was just trying to play the game. And the Spirit would camp downed bodies at a distance only to not only knock them back down, but get their rescuer too.

I agree that slugging is fine and fair game IF the killer plans to hook, but being forced to eat dirt a good portion of the match is boring and worse than camping. At least you can use camping to your advantage, even if it hurts you personally: stick around and buy time for your teammates or bleed out fast and move on. I never intentionally dc because dcing just ruins the fun for everyone and it’s usually a result of being a brat who can’t handle being down. So permaslugging is unfair and unkind.
  • I love Laurie but dang it if I encountered one too many Lauries who are toxic and purposely screw with killers below their level. I want to be nice to Lauries but they have to be jerks so they die.

Now Megs are the worst. I know I’m in for a rough unfun time when they’re bloody or have the fancy clothes.
  • I have been playing Michael lately and I am surprised at just how many cocky survivors will just walk in front of you. Like they’re not even worried about tier 3.

Same goes for the Doctor and any other killer. You may not have to be freaked out by the killer but I definitely think it would benefit the game if more survivors acted like me and my friends do: have to be extremely careful because one mistake and you’re on a hook.

Tip: slug the second last survivor and go kill the last one.
Okay but you would need deerstalker and you risk them crawling to the hatch as you hook, or you risk the second last survivor getting healed when you look for the last survivor.
  • Yeah, I was hoping they add a Scream DLC. But the problem is, what Power could Ghostface have?

Ghostface could take on the appearance of a survivor and can build up speed while gaining the ability to see survivor auras.

Ghostface could also have 1 trap that has collision and his own terror radius that blocks vault points and pallets from the survivor it’s tracking.
  • As a survivor, I like stealth. Mostly because I feel in control whereas going into a chase I panic and make bad decisions. It is also more immersive imo, because if you were really up against a killer you’d be dumb to run around them.

As a killer i also prefer stealth because the looping and bait chasing is just obnoxious.
  • Myers, for sure. It literally freaks me out playing the game and I turn my camera around and I check again and I see him, looking at me, standing there.
  • You won’t need adrenaline if you never get downed because your crouch is as fast as walking.

I started leveling Claudette for sc and chose Nea next for ue specifically. It is so handy, especially against Hag who I encounter a lot on PS4.

When I get downed and I think adrenaline or unbreakable would be useful, usually we need to get 4 or 5 generators done still.
  • I think it's marginally toxic, for some reason most 3 gen strats I've run into are Bubbas who relentlessly patrol 3 gens at endgame and refuse to hook anyone if they get a down. It's just bm at that point, nobody wants to wait 30 minutes to tap a gen run repeat, most of us just want to get onto the next game, sure a SWF friends can easily counter a 3gen but solo ques are too disorganized to realize it before it happens. IMO it just isn't a fun play-style for anyone.

But is it less toxic when I hit someone who is not deliberately trying to throw me off course and proceed to hook them?
  • I agree. I feel like all the survivors should get a special bonus for playing them.

Like yeah, you can teach Meg to heal but only Claudette can heal quieter or fewer checks. Etc.

This way you could build perks on a survivor but each of them will bring something good to the table on their own.

Do you have any screenshots sicn I'm not aware you could get onto the tractor.

No. there’s 2 walkways, one you can actually walk up like you are supposed to, and one that’s blocked by a thing of hay with a really tall wall. And they kept climbing back and forth.

What is weird is that unlike other vault points, the tractor is really high and provides coverage for the survivor on the hay stack instead of it being equally low.

Instead it seems a lot of them, especially in groups, get really cocky and obnoxious.

When me and my friends play survivor, yeah we work together but all of us get scared when the killer is around and games are intense.

Yet as killer I encounter survivors who instead of trying to escape will literally start running circles around me and it feels like Benny Hill is playing in the background. Last night I had a game where they gen rushed and kept tea bagging at the gate and one survivor literally stayed for an extra 10 minutes and wouldn’t leave. Another group kept unhooking and body blocking me.

I don’t want to camp. Camping is not fun. But I have to because otherwise I would have gotten nothing for my time beyond a displeased entity who can’t be satisfied with multiple hits and hooks.

I think they should make it so after x amount of time in a chase, survivors start to get exhausted like a reverse bloodlust. If they get hit, they get a burst of adrenaline but they are slowed and vaults and pallets become twice as long to use. Pallets should automatically break after 2 uses and they can’t be used if the survivor has camped the vicinity for more than 3 seconds.

In compensation I also think survivors should be able to wiggle faster, and completed wiggles take priority over hooking. And the last survivor should get a bonus for being the last survivor, like automatically getting the ability to self heal (or faster) or taking one extra hit or hook.

Survivors should live up to the name, not act like frat kids toying with someone.

The problem with fear is that fear is a subjective opinion to how you feel about something. Just because you nerf the survivors doesn't mean that they will start fearing the killer. They might keep more distance away, but not exactly fear.

I think I explained enough in my post that basically killers should be threats and the game should find a way to reward determined survivors without sending killers on goose chases or outright toying with them by camping at a pallet so I’m forced to eat a stun or destroy the pallet anyway because in another chase some jerky survivor will loop de loop between vault points and pallets.
