I mean, sure, the ideal reaction is to not care about someone being rude.
That's not really an excuse to BE rude, though.
I would agree IRL but not so much when it comes to video games. The entire point of a taunt is to taunt which players should be allowed to do IMO. It can even give you some strategy when used properly.
It's no different in any other game with t-bagging or voice clips and heck, even single player games AI can taunt you with voice clips and such. I just don't see it as a bad thing to have or use in video games and while it may technically be "rude" it's such a minimal amount of rude it's silly. Like not holding a door open for someone levels of rude. It's inconsequential and unlike IRL it's all in fun.
-
No you shouldn't feel bad. I would have t-bagged and flashlight clicked as well and made her either hit me out or I would have waited the time down to the last second before leaving.
It's a taunt and the entire purpose is to annoy the other side. It's then up to each individual whether or not it bothers them with some people getting extra annoyed for some reason. I'd say most online PvP games has some way to taunt and DBD is no different. People "shouldn't" get upset over it and people shouldn't be given the finger wag of disapproval for taunting.
Granted I'm more of a time and place kind of taunter. I only taunt at killers that play rather scummy in order to gain their attention as people that play scummy are normally the most effected. Sometimes they'll even throw the entire game because you t-bagged once by going on a forever chase and then camping. Frankly that's a win in my book.
People that taunt at every pallet just look silly and are generally just wasting their time. Unless you're a really good looper you're only helping the killer and in the case of said person being a good looper one simply has to abandon and move on. The taunt is there to keep your attention so don't play into it's hands.

I just watched an Otz video and played this whenever he got in a chase and it was just...fantastic. I'd love something this, lol.

Thx guys for the helpful tips. I am done with Trapper, Wraith, Billy and Nurse.
Congrats! Best of luck on getting them all. ^_^

I can give a couple tips based on the Emblems. The one I normally have problems with is Gatekeeper but I'll get to that.
For the Devout Iri you need a 4k, hook everyone at least once and have a total of 9 hooks. You get 2 points per kill, 1 point for hooking everyone and 1 for 9 hooks which will give 10 points which is an Iri at red.
This means you don't have to 3 hook everyone but instead you have to hook everybody once and make sure they all die while spreading out the other 5 hooks. DC's do count as a kill so as long as you've hooked the dcer at least once you can still get it as long as you get those 9 hooks total. Moris also count but bleeding out does not meaning if someone bleeds out on the ground you won't get it no matter how well you played.
Gatekeeper is a right pain as it's based on time and I'm not 100% sure how the math works on that one but you basically need to protect the gens and not let the doors get open for a bonus. It's capped at 9 minutes so the longer you can protect the gens in early game the better. Corrupt helps with this except for the fact you're doing adepts. -_-
Chaser and Malicious are pretty simple but require some play style adjustments on some killers. You basically want super quick chases for chaser. I don't believe you lose points for abandoning chases (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong there) so if possible pick your battles carefully. Something to note is you lose points when you're by the hook so you do not want to proxy camp if you can help it. I've gotten gold emblems a few times just because of -1 point loss for being too close to the hooked survivor.
Malicious is an issue depending on the killer you're playing. You get points for every hit while losing points when they heal as well as gaining points for each hook state. I've found that you normally get an Iri in this one as long as you've got an Iri in Devout as long as you've been playing properly. Meaning you can't use instadown powers and you can't use the plagues vomit to a degree. You only get one point if you insta down a survivor when they're at full health meaning you'll actually be losing points when they heal up. You can hit survivors with instadowns when they're injured but not when healthy.
This means killers like Bubba and Billy and such you can not use their chainsaw to instadown fully healed survivors. This also applies do Spirit and her Haunted Grounds. Another thing to note with Plague is when putting someone from healthy to injured using her vile puke it doesn't count as a hit meaning you need to use corrupt puke or M1. I personally did this one by puking on them once they were on the hook. If you puke around their feet it will hit them and then once they're off they either wont heal giving you more points and quicker chases or they will heal giving you a super power to end chases really quick.
You should also note that while you lose points if a survivor breaks off your shoulder it can be in your interest to hit someone recently unhooked to check for borrowed time as that'll give you free hits and points if you down them.
If a match is going too quick it can help to drag it out by messing around and hitting them just to get extra chaser points. Chaser can screw you over pretty bad if your games are too quick as it doesn't seem like you get enough points for only the minimum amount of chases. This can also be an issue with Plague so if it doesn't work out you may have to abandon using her power altogether and only ever M1.
Plague is definitely the hardest killer to Adept as the emblem system works against her while Legion is the easiest as just using his power throughout the match constantly will practically guarantee an Iri in everything except Devout. Everybody else is pretty straight forward just requiring a bit of a play style change and some good luck. Basically if you can 3-hook everyone and the gens didn't go by super quick then you probably got the Merciless. The only Emblem I really kept track of in game was Devout that way if someone DC'd or suicide'd I'd know if I still had a chance or not.

You need merciless? Rly? FML! I never cared much about achievements, but that changed yesterday for some reason. I finished off all survivors in two days. Now I was planning on starting with Killer later, but I thought ruthless would be enough. This is gonna be painful I think.
Yeah unfortunately. The biggest issue is your rank. If you're red rank then it becomes a lot harder to do since you need better emblems while if your low rank the adepts become super easy.
@Fibijean said:
Congrats! The only killer Adept I have left is Deathslinger (got Clown a couple of days ago, and Legion the day before that). I'm having a really tough time getting it because I am not good at aiming, and Deathslinger and Oni are my least-favourite killers to play. At least Deathslinger's "use power X times" achievement is fairly easy.
I made sure to get the difficult ones like Evil Incarnate and From the Void She Kills out of the way early on once I started seriously achievement-hunting a few months ago, and I got Left Behind ages ago by complete chance because it was bugged. The hardest one I have left is distance hatchets on Huntress, of which I have four so far. Luckily, I play on PC, so I only need 20.
I got pretty lucky on deathslinger. I'm also not he best at aiming with him but I luckily got a group of potatoes which made life easy. I think I hit maybe 2 or 3 shots in the match but still got merciless by fake shooting and them making very questionable plays. Best of luck on getting your achievements. ^_^
-
That's interesting. I've been playing for the last few hours and most of my groups had a majority of red and purple. I had a few matches with obvious gray ranks but for the most part it's been all red. Actually thinking on it I did have one group that was I think a yellow, 2 grays and a red but that was the worst one I've had tonight.
Granted even when they were red ranks they weren't the best. I had a few really good individual survivors but no good groups tonight. I figure since I'm saying this I'm gonna get a super squad now but at least it'll shake it up.
-
Had the same bug happen to me just a little while ago.
System is PS4.
I was playing Spirit on Temple of Purgatation.
I have no idea how to replicate. It has only occurred one time for me.
Here's a endgame Screenshot of everyone's perks, items, etc.
Here is a video clip of the issue.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pu61ZTLqi-oIf you need anymore information let me know and I'll try and get it. I have the entire match saved if you want the full video. I had been playing for maybe an hour or so before this happened.
-
I can understand some people getting upset as they just want a normal game or they have a challenge or something they're working on but I personally love it. Working as a team and trying to get the chest without dying is a ton of fun. I'll black pip with little points any day to face more of them. I think I've seen maybe four in my almost 2 years of playing. I wish they were slightly more common. :/
If they ever added a new game mode I would love a 'Defend the Chest" objective.
-
It's pretty fun to watch but doesn't seem all that fun to play.
-
I recommend doing it on any map with buildings as the hill doesn't really work all that well as I think it's just a little too small. Haddonfield is your best bet.
-
As Killer I hate Disturbed Ward the most. I used to hate Rotten Fields but it's better now.
As Survivor I hate the Lab and Asarov's.
@Hippie said:
Definitely Gas Heaven and Azarov's Resting Place (and basically every other Autohaven Wreckers map).... and Family Residence as well.
Like I mentioned in a previous thread, Gas Heaven is basically an easy win for Survivor and a pain in the rear for Killer. I hate playing on that map on either side!
Azarov's Resting Place is possibly the most Survivor-sided map in the game. If you play against smart Survivors (and aren't playing giga-terror radius proxy-camping Doctor which I seem to go up against too often on that map), they can easily do the right generators and secure an easy win. And when I play Survivor on that map, it's almost always an easy win, unless it's against the Doctor I mentioned previously.
Family Residence is horrible. It's dark, expansive and I almost always seem to play average height killers on that map. Even the most brightly attired Survivors can hide in the grass.... I was hiding easily while wearing the bright blue Nea hair on a game today. I actually like Sanctum of Wrath now that it's smaller and harder to play on as Survivor, but Family Residence needs to be altered badly. You can hardly see scratch marks on that map.... and forget about seeing blood trails unless you're using Bloodhound.
It's interesting you say that about Asarov's. I personally think its the most killer friendly map in the entire game and is an easy win most of the time. Just find whatever side has a better Gen setup and protect it. Once the pallets are gone in those areas or you have a survivor hooked on your side, it's pretty much over for them. If you're running Pop they are extra boned.
The middle section can be annoying depending on how it's setup and if you play the map normally and don't go for a 3+ gen setup or they are able to break it then yeah, I could see the map being difficult but if you "camp" gens on that map, you are golden most of the time. If the basement happens to be on the same side as well and you get a basement hook, they are just screwed.
I've seen times on Asarov's where 5 gens were all pretty close to one another and it just makes it impossible for them to do anything. If they go too deep in your territory or mess up you can basically camp them to death while protecting all your gens at the same time with the only way they're getting the person off is to hook trade.
-
I like Pop, BBQ, Whispers, and Save the Best for Last.
Whispers isn't really needed and could be switched out but I like the guarantee of knowing my static blast will hit someone and if it doesn't, then I know they're in a locker. Sloppy could also be a nice replacement just to get them to waste more time healing which give them more chances to miss skill checks.
Pop is obvious and good on almost everyone.
BBQ for points.
StBfL is great on any M1 killer.
Impossible Skill check doc is fun,
Distressing, Unnerving, Lullaby, Overcharge both calm add-ons and a indoor map makes for an awful time for the survivors.
You could do a similar build as above but use anti-heal perks instead to make it so it takes forever for them to heal.
Ninja doc where you use both calm add-ons and Monitor to sneak up on people. The other 3 perks can be anything you want.
I'm sure other people will have some interesting build choices as well. ^_^
-
Oddly enough I've actually been in a similar-ish situation. I was in a 2-man swf and got paired with another 2-man swf. They were really good and we also did pretty well and the killer afterwords asked if we were a 4-man SWF. I said no and that it was just a 2-man and so were they. I had messaged the other group as well and talked a bit at how well the match had gone.
Not even a couple minutes later we get paired up with the same group and after the game was over, it was the same killer. I didn't message him because I knew how it looked and he didn't message me either but boy oh boy I bet he thinks I was a lying SoB.
-
It's honestly pretty up in the air.
The skull on the picture is likely in reference to the logo so it probably has nothing do with the killer and for all we know the picture in it's entirety could have nothing to do with anything. Candyman does seem to be the safe bet right now and has the most backing. The tweet seems a little too on the nose IMO so it very well could just be a red herring or they're just being very obvious. Candyman also isn't that well known outside of America but I still think he is the most likely candidate.
IT is also possible since DBD started following King a while back. I don't think there are any clues though supporting it.
Jason would be cool but it'd be a miracle.
My personal preference is Pyramid Head as I just want a killer that is from a video game. The 4 logo is debatable and the guy who worked on Silent Hill mentioned he got a big deal recently but I don't think he owns Pyramid Head so it likely has nothing to do with DBD. Definitely a dark horse bet.
Pinhead is another big one but I don't think there are any clues backing him.
A Resident Evil killer would be neat as well but again, I don't think there is any real clues backing them.
Right now unless we get some more clues Candyman is the safe bet no doubt with the only things against him being, Scott saying it's not him, the tweet being way too obvious and Candyman not being super well as other popular choices.
-
I like the simplistic nature of it. I think it makes it a lot creepier then most of the other legion masks though I do understand how that could be a turn off for some people with just how simple it is.
-
Exactly what Doomspooge said. I've had games with SWF where it said the killer dc'd and I escaped but my friends were still in the game playing and I was the one who had been kicked. I haven't had that happen in a while mind you but it is something to keep in mind.
-
I'm not even sure what he's referencing. I thought you could always lunge after teleporting with Hag. Unless he means you can lunge sooner which I don't think is that big a change as you could already lunge pretty quick as is.
Did I miss something?
-
I mean Scott won around 32 games with speed limiter Bubba. It doesn't suddenly make Bubba a really good killer.
You can win with every killer in the game but not every killer is as good as others or even "good" to begin with. I win most of my Legion games when I play them but I'd still place him as low tier while I lose almost every Spirit and Billy game I play but they're still high tier.
It's all about the player and while I don't consider Wraith bad per se I don't think he's super good either. Rather middle of the pack kind of killer
-
Emblems are not tied to points, they're actually two different categories so it's possible to get a perfect game without getting all iridescent. You can actually get a perfect game and have people escape as well.
You lacked Malicious which is from hitting survivors and new hook states. You lose points in Malicious when survivors heal or break off your shoulder.
In this case you either lacked some hook states, didn't hit them enough or they healed too much. Not only that but I don't think infections count as hits so you suffer the same as the instadown killers when you one shot them. It only counts as one point of malicious instead of two.
Here's a link to the Emblem Page and the Bloodpoint page so you can see what you need to do.

Mine is just the default one I made like 20 years ago that I use for almost everything and I'm too lazy to come up with a better one. I've got like 5 or 6 different main names but this is the one I use on most things either for throwaway accounts or just because. Anything semi-important I'll try and use a separate name for.
-
I have no problems with Object personally; I like the Off the Record/OoO combo but I think if you're running it you should expect to be tunneled and not get mad if it happens. The info you get out of that perk in SWF is really good and unless I'm playing a stealth killer, I'll always tunnel the Object through DS to get them out of the game as soon as I can maybe even camp a state if the team is being silly and overly altruistic in their rescue.
Most SWF or even solos will try to protect them when they see they're getting tunneled so it works out more often than not.
-
To be fair you are almost devotion 2 so I'd hardly call you a rank 18 killer. Seems more like you just haven't played in a while or only play survivor which can still translate to skill on killer just from general experience.
-
He could have had rancor for the NoED effect but I'm not sure about anything else. It also seems like your jumping to conclusions about the killer cheating when the game incredibly buggy at times. Monto had infinite ruin once as it simply never spawned on a totem. The same could have happened to this guy with Ruin and NoED.
I've also lied to my friend saying I cleansed multiple totems without touching any so he wouldn't look and had quite the giggle when he got NoED at the end but that's cause we mess with each other so I can't really say if that's a possibility here.
What were the killers perks and do you have a video or screenshots or anything?
-
I was actually thinking about this a bit today.
Why not have it so that whenever the killer is within whatever range of the hooked survivor for however long without another survivor being nearby gen speed is increased and hook time slowed down enough that it gives the other survivors time to finish all the gens so 3 can escape instead of the normal 2 or in most cases none as everyone always tries to unhooked the facecamped person and fails. Having faster gen speeds when someone is getting facecamped would incentivize the do gens and get out strategy you should use and I think it'd even work with randoms sometimes.
Killers that facecamp at endgame or so aren't affected as they already know the game is over and it'd only really hurt the people pictured above that facecamp super early. They obviously have no interest in chasing, interacting or even playing with others so why not just let the game be over with quicker so they can go stare at a single person next game.
Camping the survivor can sometimes be a proper strat but when you do it like the killer above is doing, it's one of the most boring things you can do in game and chances are all they're after is the salt after the game. I doubt they even have interest in the match itself.
-
This is a really cool idea!
Gamer Sense
Years of gaming have prepared you for this moment and now's the time to shine. You are able to see the killers aura while simultaneously hiding your own aura for 4 seconds when pressing the active ability button. Gamer Sense trumps all killer aura perks and starts off with 1/2/3 tokens. Gain 1 token whenever you are unhooked, when all totems have been cleansed, when all chests have been searched, when all generators have been completed, when EGC starts and when a teammate is killed.
Competitionist
You're filled with the urge to complete every objective that has been laid in front of you. Whenever you complete either a generator, a totem or a chest, the nearest location of the same objective will be revealed for 20/40/60 seconds.
It is what it is
The reality of the situation isn't always what is seems. Whenever you are on a generator that is completed the completion aura will appear on every generator as well as a fake gen aura appearing on all completed gens for 5/7/10 seconds.
-
I was one of the Dwights as was a buddy of mine. The other guy was just a random but he decided to join in on the fun. The Bubba sent us the screenshots after and I'm so happy he did. ^_^
I could have sworn I had more screenshots but nope, just videos.
-
I mentioned the same killer in another thread as well, lol. He's like one of the first horror killers that pops up when you google horror skull killer or something like that. I never even heard of him before today when I was googling around.
I do think he is a bit too obscure what with all the hype they've been building up with the killer being iconic and they're super happy about it and stuff. He's pretty recent being from 2009.
Personally I'd prefer Pyramid Head just to have a killer from another video game instead of a movie but I'd take pretty much any decently known killer. Pinhead, Candyman, IT, Alien, Predator, Jack Torrance, Jason, someone from RE, the list goes on and on but I think they'd all be good choices.
Edit: Hell I'd even take Leprechaun and I have soft spot for Chucky.

Ur posts are making me so hyped lmfao. Inbefore we get some random ass guy from some random ass horror movie no one has ever heard of before xD
I was thinking the same thing and figured we might get some rando. I googled various things and found a killer called Chromeskull from the horror movie Laid to Rest. Best part is the skull "kinda" resembles the one from the picture and from artwork I've seen the skull is sometimes depicted as melting. I think the killers face melted or something in the movie, I don't really know.
There is even anther movie set to come out eventually. Let's get Chromeskull for DBD!
-
Scott considers himself more an Oni main then anything but he does play everything.
He's super sick right now though so he's not playing all that much.
-
Tier 15. I did all the challenges and haven't played much as I've been playing other games.
-
Could use map offerings. That's what me and my buddy do after getting similar maps in a row.
-
I also disagree. There are already times where gens can spawn in deadzones and those gens are incredibly dangerous and should either be done first or not at all. If the majority of gens were like that I don't how survivors would even be able to do anything, especially against instadown killers.
Heck some gens become deadzones if you use a single pallet at them and oh boy if your teammate goes and wastes it when they're healthy and the gen is at like 20 percent. That gen suddenly becomes almost impossible to finish if the killer is even slightly paying attention and god forbid if they had pop.
I think it would be way too big a buff for killers and some killers like Hillybilly or even Huntress would become almost unstoppable. Myers could stalk people super easily, Oni could always guarantee a first hit, hell every killer would get huge buff from it even stealthy ones. They wouldn't have to bother being stealthy and could just walk up and smack ya.
I do think deadzones should be filled with something but not gens. How about extra chests or one super chest that takes longer to open but can be opened multiple times for basic tier items.
-
Legion with BBQ no doubt. His power gives everything except hooks so even if you mess around and only get a couple hooks you can still end up around 25k a game. Normal games that aren't over in 3 minutes will have you closer to 30k. It all depends on the hooks really.
If you want to go the extra mile you can run beast of prey and distressing though it's not needed at all.
-
Monstrous shrine is definitely one of the worst killer perks no doubt. Mindbreaker and Zanshin tactics are both pretty bad as well.
For survivor No Mither is the worst perk no doubt.
Edit: Forgot best perks.
When it comes the to best perks both sides have like 10 or so that are just nice.
For killer one could argue for BBQ, PoP, StBfL, Spirt Fury/Enduring, Nurses, etc.
For Survivor you got DS, Borrowed, Dead Hard, Iron Will, Adrenaline, Spinechill, etc.
It's hard to classify "Best" as it depends a lot on your build, the killer your playing as or against and things like that.
-
Ghostface is just really meh honestly. I don't like facing him because his reveal is very wonky sometimes. In a KYF match me and my buddy were messing around with him and he stood completely still, I looked at him and it started to reveal him and then it just stopped before starting to reveal again and then it worked. I didn't even move my camera and the game decided I wasn't looking at him.
While I know it's only the animation his lunge looks really really dumb at times and it's almost always Ghostfaces who hit through pallets and windows.
As far as stealth killer's go I also think he's the most boring to go against. I do like playing him but only for the t-bag and memes. I don't really care much for playing him seriously.
Myers, Billy and Demo are the 3 golden standards for killers in my opinion. Myers is a fantastic stealth killer, Billy is a fantastic oppressive killer and Demo is a fantastic all-arounder.

Im exactly the same way. Some killers deserve to be taunted. You know it gets them because they are clearly taking the game too serious to play all douchy. On the flip side I am grossed out when other survivors taunt a killer that played fair just to be dicks.
Oh yeah I agree. I never taunt if the person is just playing normally or if there is seemingly a reason behind them acting the way they are. For example it's endgame and they've had all of two hooks, yeah I won't be mad if they facecamp or tunnel. Sometimes you just want a kill and I can't be mad at that.
Doing that at the beginning of the game though and the unlucky person that got camped or tunneled having like 2000 points. It just annoys me sometimes and taunting helps with it, especially if you see it working. ๐
-
Depends on how the killer played. If the killer facecamped early game, hardcore tunneled, or used an ebony I'll t-bag at the exit gates and make them hit me or I'll just wait the time down and go last second. Heck I had a plague hardcore tunnel a David all game, I blocked for him so she lost him and then she started after me and I went the extra mile and t-bagged at every pallet. I ran for the last two gens she lost me and then dc'd. Was pretty funny.
It's just a little victory for me and it honesty shouldn't bother the person when it happens but that's just how taunts are, they affect some people more than others.
Personally, when I play killer it makes me chuckle and if I play like a jerk and they get out I fully expect t-bags and will normally nod and moonwalk with them.
-
Using top knot on Oni lets you basically have almost any loop for free in the game if you know the timing. It's kind of insane how different it makes him feel. The speed boost combo'd with it just feels soo nice. Using Oni at loops is very viable but like Billy you gotta know the timing and what you can and can't get around which only comes by playing him a bunch. Shorter loops can normally only be countered using top knot since the charge takes too long otherwise.
Oni's power is definitely stronger then Billy's when it's active as well as having some built in tracking to counter Iron Will but he can suffer really bad in early game. On the other side he can also snowball incredibly well and is a very good slugging killer when using Infectious. I definitely think his snowball is better than Billy's and if you're the slugging type I think Oni is the better choice there.
Really though I think it just comes down to preference which one you like more. Billy is more an all-arounder while Oni starts weak but get's stronger over time. While their powers are similar the playstyle is a tad different as Oni requires a bit more thought put into it like keeping track of where people were healing or if they did gens injured so he knows where blood is or when's the proper time to use the power or when to or not to slug. Billy is more "chainsaw go vroom!"
I personally think Billy is stronger overall because you always have that instadown as well as map coverage if someone is giving you trouble. As Oni you almost always need that first hit and if no one gives it to you he suffers hard so in that way I think he is a higher risk higher reward type killer. Some people like to put him as mid tier or even low tier but I personally think he's high tier and around top 5. Even if Billy is better I don't think Oni is bad by any means and I think he's also a lot funner.

Oh yeah, it did fixed it, thank you
No worries, glad you got it sorted. ^_^
-
I personally feel very different from you.
- Maybe it's because I have thicker skin but I love when people send me toxic messages. I get an absolute kick that someone got so upset over a video game they sent me enough profanities to make a sailor blush. Even as a kid, I never cared what other people had to say to me that were not people I cared about or at least showed me some form of respect. I always just roll my eyes and smile when people get overly mad in this game.
- Matchmaking is a very fair complaint. The devs have mentioned somewhere when people leave the game they try to instantly fill the lobby so this is why you get rainbows so often. At the moment it's more focused in getting you in the game then making sure the game will be fair. Is this the best choice? Depends on who you ask. Personally, I'd rather wait only a couple minutes for a bad game then 30 minutes for a fair and balanced one. I'm sure others would feel better if it was the other way around.
- I actually enjoy the difficulty this game has to offer. The more I play the more I realize how bad the average survivor is and while I enjoy curb stomping people I don't enjoy it so much that I want that every game. Most games as killer if I run meta perks it's normally a win for me and if I do lose, I can tell you exactly where my mistakes were that would have changed that or at least made it closer. I always feel like I had the chance to win and it was mostly my fault that I didn't. It's so rare that I get destroyed by any group where I feel I had no chance no matter what I did.
- Also a fair point. There is only one game mode and while the Killers are different the main gameplay is the same which just comes down to trying to prevent burnout. I play with friends which makes the game a ton of fun survivor side and when I play Killer I'm usually working on a challenge, trophy or just messing around.
I don't really take the game super seriously when I play killer. Hell, I just had a game yesterday where I got bullied pretty hard as I was messing with the new PS4 sensitivity. I was missing swings a lot trying to get used to it and I played pretty terribly all around. I got a few hooks and at the end of the game I downed a person by the gates as the others left and the hatch opened up. Instead of hooking her I just let her go through the hatch because I thought that was funny. Entity displeased with no kills and not even a full stack of BBQ. It was still a pretty fun match and I think the fact that I can personally enjoy matches like that since I don't take "winning" all that serious let's me have a lot more fun and keeps me going more than other people.

Closing out of the game and loading it back up normally fixes bloodweb issues for me. Haven't had it happen in a while knock-on-wood.

No you can still just walk onto it as killer.
I tried a bunch in KYF but was never able to walk on it as it kept bouncing me off. I must have been hitting it at a bad angle or something then.

It's still there you just have to lunge now; so it's back to the way it used to be.
I think they changed it because it was way too easy to just walk on the hay and make the window useless.

I've played a few games as killer and a few hours of survivor and so far I'm quite enjoying it on both sides. I plan to play more tomorrow when the tome comes out so my opinion may change.
As Killer, some of the maps feel a bit better in walking around and as survivor I enjoy not having the dumb window thing pull you back. The loops are interesting but I can't really say if I like or dislike them until I play the maps more.
There seems to be a bug where when you leave the match your character falls out of the world and this actually happened to a person in game after they were moried. She had a key on her but was no where to be seen and my friend who was spectating said all he could see was black on her screen as she was being moried.

For me it would be a bug if it didn't do that, I feel it does this every time I boot up the game since I bought the game 2 years ago.
Same here, it's always done it for me on PS4. There's also the issue of massive FPS loss if you play for too long.

So it still works exactly as before, and the tokens are just an indicator for those who aren't able to see at the bottom of the screen how many of their teammates are dead? That seems like a waste of time to make such a change. This perk needs to just be reworked, I don't see the logic in ever using it.
The main use is for Object of Obsession. If you're the last one alive you have a 72 meter aura reading on the killer which admittedly doesn't do much now but it seems like you could have had some fun with it back when there was no EGC.
It also can counter Nurses and other aura reading killer perks but the issue of needing a teammate to be dead does make it rather bad.

Do you mean as survivor when you spawn traps and your camera flick towards them? Because I'm pretty sure that's intended.

Depend really. If they do something funny or offer their item, I'll normally let them go. Sometimes I'll let them go even if they've been playing like an ass.
It's normally all in the moment and if I'm working on a challenge or something then I don't and other times I'll pretend to let them go only to hook them.
Even I'm not sure what I'll do until I'm in the game and doing it.

Yes this is exactly what I mean ๐
Couldn't say then. I've had multiple PS4's running off the same internet and never had issues connecting to SWF myself so I don't know what the problem could be. Sorry for not being able to help. :/

I think she means the same external IP, of course they are not using the same IP on their LAN...
I don't think it was that out there of a guess to think she meant internal IP. Wouldn't be the first time someone has set the same static IP to all their devices and wonder why they don't work properly. My brother and friend have done it and I've done it accidentally so that's probably why I assumed as much.
