Congrats. I've gotten it I think 4 or 5 times myself while doing the "kill the survivors by any means" challenges. 😀
-
Dead Dawg is okay if you can get rid of the 3 gen that normally spawns in the corner. That map can almost be as bad as Asarov's depending on the killer and if they play defensively.
Midwich is my favorite of the indoor maps. Probably middle of the pack overall with the only complaint being the gens are hard to find.

Not quite what I'm talking about.
My bad, thought you were talking about console game sharing. I've heard most people call it family sharing on steam so it threw me off.

What's game share?
You can show other people your screen on console. Even let them play or play together on certain games.Edit: Never mind. Thought op was talking about console, not steam.

It could be anything.
Licensing issue: With them unable to say it certainly makes it a strong possibility. On the other end I've never watched the Pinhead movies but aren't the entire things sexual based, seems weird they'd care about a "came" joke. I'd also assume when making the character they would show the voice lines to the license holder beforehand.
Backlash: Did Twitter knights and Facebook moms get all up in their grill and they don't want to deal with it? Possibly.
Audio File Problem: Maybe there was a legit problem with the audio file that caused problems elsewhere in the game on the current patch. The PTB is usually an older patch and something new could have came up though it seems they'd mention this if it was the case. Unlikely to be the reason but still possible.
Voice Actor: Maybe whoever voiced it had some dark past that came to light and BHVR doesn't want to use their clips anymore. Maybe the voice actor changed their mind and didn't want "came" memes as part of their resume. I have no idea who the voice actor is, just something that came to mind as a possibility.
Changed their mind: Maybe one of the BHVR heads just didn't like the meme and wants it dead. Maybe no one realized the joke and it's not what they wanted for the character.
There could be any number of reasons and it's all speculation and hard to say why they removed it. Hell, maybe the line wasn't saucy enough for the licence holders and they want double came.

Naah, including this rare occasion, something else could happen: a cat peed on keyboard, a dog chewed interned cable, fire in the apartment, SWAT, mom called, killer got bored of killing: What am I doing? I am wasting my life here!; power outage, hurricane, plane crash, diarrhea, wifi outage in McDonalds... like a lot could happen
I concur as I've personally had 7 variations of dc's on that list alone. A lot really can happen.

My standard build is BBQ, Pop, Agitation and Discordance with some changes depending on the killer.
5th Perk would be Franklin's or Lightborn
Franklin's is already my favorite perk and Lightborn is a lot of fun in flashy squads.

It doesnt take away anything from the tips he posted. Why? Bc none of those tips is new. Its stuff, which everybody who plays hag on a decent level knows and you find the same tips in every hag guide, most of the time in the beginner section. Most guides are far more detailed, too.
The sad part is that there are so many players, who dont know this things. Not many play hag, but as experienced survivor you should also know this things. This lack of understanding is the part, which makes hag suited best for such a long winstreak among all strong killer.
Lets take Otz as example. He said that Hag was the easiest winstreak. He didnt even try, used meme builds, no perks and he lost it over 50 on purpose. Addons make it easier and have you any idea how helpful map offerings are?
If you would have watched Otz in his DS2-time, you would know that every winstreak, even the Nemesis, which was one of the hardest, was a joke compared to DS No-Hit. It took forever and if you only watch the two videos, you will see how frustrating it was. 700 is a lot longer, but its not really high concentration the entire time. The Nemesis streak shows also the best strategy to get a high winstreak. Otz failed so many times, but why did he get it suddenly? He used something against streamsniper, but the important thing was that he changed when he played. Later in his streams the opponents got suddenly weaker. If you use that, its makes it a lot easier to win consistently. And if you only play 2 matches per day its possible. Otz plays 700 matches in less than a month.
It takes away potential interest which is pretty important. A lot of people in this thread didn't bother to even read or look at the rest of his post after seeing the 700 wins. When I first read the post I had no interest with the tips or experience he had and only wanted more info about the streak. Had the 700 win thing not been there I feel a lot more people would have taken a deeper interest in his Hag tips which is what OP wanted in the first place.
As you said, a lot of people don't even know about Hags existence so any post to garner more interest in her is nice. It just feels like a waste since so many people aren't going to bother to read it or acknowledge the info after seeing the 700 win streak comment as you can already see with some of the posts in this thread. I just think it's a shame.
I think we're going to have to agree to disagree with the Dark Souls thing. I've got around 1600 hours in dbd and maybe a 150 in DS2 (which granted isn't a lot for either game) and I feel like doing a hitless run would be a lot easier and more consistent then doing a 700 win streak. It'd be more nerve racking on a constant basis due to the length but I also feel it'd be more consistent at a certain level. With DBD it'd be more luck then skill (though still a lot of skill needed) at that point.
I've really only watched Otz's few videos he has of the DS2 runs and some of his streak challenges live and I just can't see DS2 hitless being harder. I just might not have enough experience in either game to have a proper opinion but going from what I've seen of his videos and my own time in the games, I just can't see it.

You guys are funny. You asking who cares if its true, when you care about. So theres your answer.
You and others make it seem like he boosted with the 700 wins as if he had found the cure for cancer. But he never boosted with it and he certainly shouldnt. 700 wins is impressive, but not a sign for skill. More a sign of impressive luck or exploiting the broken matchmaking. Dont get me wrong, you still need to be good, but thats it. Its nothing compared with no hit runs in DS, its even less a sign of skill then reaching the highest rank in Apex, LoL etc.
So why would anyone care about this anecdote before the information?
I was saying who cares if it's true in relation to the reason why he posted it in the first place since he only wanted to show tips and experiences with Hag. Of course people will care after reading such a claim so it takes away from what he was trying to do.
The claim of 700 wins is also the biggest in DBD history. As far as I know I don't think another killer streak even comes close which would make this guy some DBD Legend. There was one with 200 on Twins and I saw a Nurse one with 185. If you know any that's higher I'd be curious to see them.
You're short-selling the claim IMO. I think it'd be a ton easier to no hit a dark souls game then it would be to get a 700 win streak on any killer. Hell, Otz has an all bosses no-hit DS2 run and he struggles at times to get even 50 wins playing as sweaty as he can.
Edit: I forgot his streaks were addonless so it takes away from my point a bit but even with add-ons I don't think he'd be able to get even close to 700.
A 700 win streak is not only a huge sign of skill an ability but also of astronomical good luck. It's way more interesting to talk about then any random Hag tips and tricks so asking for proof or even some minor gameplay is warranted. The fact OP refuses makes it seem like they're lying and that in turn also takes away from the tips and experiences they posted.

I mentioned it because it is true, which I cannot prove. Hag is an S tier killer and I want people to know more about her. People may believe whatever.
I think some people can look past whether they believe the claim and read the post. Everyone can take exactly what they would like, positive or not.
Who cares if it's true? You don't have proof and are unwilling to try to so why did you bring it up at all when it would only hurt what you're trying to accomplish? How many people do you truly think would take the post seriously after reading such a claim. Not in pity since most people are calling you out but in genuine interest for Hag. Certainly not many.
I really want to believe you mean well and are not just trolling but your responses are completely nonsensical. You had something really nice here and you just spat all over it because of that claim. It just feels like such a waste since most people don't give Hag the time of day.

I've never made an account here before.
You are entitled to your opinion about the streak and you are welcome to believe what you want to.
All I wanted was to bring attention to the Hag and to help people with counterplay.
I am not interested in streaming for hours or posting gods, as they will not satisfy everyone's need for proof. I am not going down the rabbit hole of what is and is not enough for everyone. I address the lack of proof right away.
I think I learned a lot about the game and wanted to share. I hope you find something useful. Some people certainly have, and that's plenty for me.
You're not bringing attention to Hag at all though. You're bringing attention to yourself because you claim you did a 700 win streak.
Why bring up the win streak at all if you just want to share your experience with Hag. As I said, it's needless grandstanding that only hurts your apparent objective. So why did you bring it up if not to show off?
By bringing it up the info dump becomes meaningless outside of a few people who are just being nice to you because everyone else is calling you out.
-
This post has the same vibe as people who make a new account on Soulborne forums and say they beat the entire game with no guides, didn't die once while also finding every boss/questline and now here's how they did it.
Good on you for the info post but if you want people to learn more about Hag then you should take out the 700 win thing. It takes away from the post and it's only thing people will care about as you can already see. That fact you seem to refuse to prove it as well even through a simple custom match or stream would show at least some of your skill also takes away a lot from the post. If you have nothing to prove then why bring it up at all? It's needless grandstanding and will only serve to annoy people.
"I played Hag for an entire year and here is my experience."
Use that title while never bringing up the 700 wins and all of a sudden you have a post with people actually talking interest with Hag, maybe inquiring into some of your games, learning strategies, etc.
As it is now, it's just a well spoken troll post whether you mean it as such or not. Personally, I'd request the post be closed and then remake it in the guide section while keeping out the wins, though honestly the damage has already been done and I don't think many people are going to take you seriously.
As another note, alt accounts are not allowed in any fashion on the forums. I'm not sure if that answer was in reference to the Reddit post and you've never been here before but just as a heads up.
-
At max potential I'd personally say Nurse, Oni, and Plague are the top 3 in that order. Also assuming they're using Infectious.
Nurses power all on its own can allow for massive snowballs. She negates every loop and once she gets on a role is basically unstoppable in proper hands.
Oni when he has demon dash is one of the most powerful killers in the game and is basically designed as a snowball killer. Topknot plus someone who knows what their doing negates a ton of loops.
Plague with her puke is also very similar to Oni but requires survivors to give it to you. It's very easy to snowball though with a good puke pickup.

Was always curious if that was just a fan render posing as being official or if it was actually a game file.
Since you brought it up I also became a bit curious about this and did some googling to see what I could fine.
I can't speak to their legitimacy since I don't have the game on pc but there's a guy on deviant art who uploads dbd model files for people to use and not only Yui but most of the survivor models female and male alike have nipple textures. According to a reddit comment I found talking about this, the Nurse also has a weird model with a rip in her panties so you can see her buttcrack.
I've also found a few others post talking about it on Reddit some months ago being the most recent with no one saying otherwise so I'm inclined to believe that it's not only true but most of the survivors have nipple textures. You'd need someone with the game on PC to actually check to be definitive though.
-
Franklin's and Agitation. Lightborn is also a lot of fun in a flashy squad.
As survivor I don't really have any favorite perks. I do feel naked without Kindred but I wouldn't say it's fun. Probably Head-on if I had to choose since every now and then I'll do Head-on shenanigans in a 2-man. Some giggles are had.
-
One purple is as max as it gets.
Edit: Got into a match so I couldn't elaborate further for a bit. I believe it goes on a 1-2-3 system with brown yellow and purple respectively.
3 browns, 1 brown and 1 yellow or 1 purple should all give the same effect. Assuming they haven't changed anything in a while and the wiki is to be believed.

No. You play him as normal. And when he tiers up. Look to see which Mikey it is...It's not like he has a huge tell if he's tombstone Myers or not.
But to answer your question. If I wasn't sure. And he was in T3 and I knew I couldn't make another loop or window again. I would 100 % jump in a locker.
You don't have time to check though unless the Myers is playing bad. Myers should only ever go to tier 3 when he's right on your ass, tombstone or otherwise. If Myers tiers up while still looping someone then the Myers simply messed up.
I'm talking a proper Myers that knows how to 99 a tier 3 and it's a simple tap to tier up and then you're dead. Not the Myers players that go into tier 3 when you're on the other side of a pallet and next to two lockers.
I guess you could preemptively do it while he's in tier two just in case (which would counter it) but you'd be taking a guess all game and giving free hooks which I feel is too strong for a simple purple add-on.
-

Jump in a locker and it's gone. 🤷. I just can't get over how many times posts like these are made. And it's always "well if my idiot solo que partners didn't suck". As if the game should be catered to an audience that's at a rookie level
So do you just jump in a locker against every Myers you play against before he gets tier 3? Before you know what they're running? It works after you know they have tombstone but at that point it's already a 3v1 which is very bad. Hell even if you do it before then it's still a free hook and he'll still have it 99'd and eventually get someone when they're in a dead zone or while unhooking.

Ah yes. This. This is the comment right here. Let's nerf an acceptable add on. Because of the clueless team mate
Did you stop to think for a second that the add on is fine...And that you can't nerf/change something. Just to accomodate clueless survivors...?
How is the add-on acceptable? Judith's is fine because of the slowdown and massive stalk needed but the Tombstone Piece is one of the best add-ons in the game. The stalk required isn't all that much and it turns the game into a 3v1 which is nearly impossible to win in most cases.
I wouldn't say it's old Iri Head level of annoying but it's pretty close to it IMO.
-
Loved the last test and I honestly can't wait for MMR. Most of my games were really good and even the bad ones were far better then the bad games I'd normally have.
The worst I had was the same camping Bubba twice in a row and my god, instead of spending my bar crouched nearby and trying to get me, they saw what was happening with Kindred and stayed on the gens. It was fantastic.
-
A tournament level Nurse using Corrupt, Ruin, Undying and Pop while also slugging for the 4k against randoms every single match. That's pretty tryhard.
The same can be said with 4-man SWF swat squads who bring 4 brand new parts and just leave everyone to die so they can get out quicker.
With those kind of groups it's like pitting a professional athlete against some random people on the street and they go all out with no mercy. That's some true tryhard sweatlords right there.
Almost everything else is just standard people wanting to win or have fun or things like that. Of course people are going to try their best and there's nothing wrong with that on both sides.
Does it suck when you're a casual just messing around? Yeah, it does but this isn't family game night on Mario Party and expecting people to take it easy if something goes wrong is just going end with disappointment.
-
I did mine a few hours ago without issues. You're making sure to play survivor right?
Outside of that they can be hard to find sometimes.
-
@Alice_pbg said:
people calling them broken add-ons... have you played with them? they aren't. specially the tombstone, it's literally bad.
also, it's very easy to tell who is going for the achievement, because they play very "uniquely".
and no one is telling the survivor to not try to survive, just to not keep hiding in a locker when you have no chance of survival just to spite the killer
I think most people are thinking of the Tombstone piece when they bring it up as that is quite strong. Judith's is as you said, pretty bad.
-
The actor who played her is following DBD twitter so it's possible we're getting her sometime. It could be a late addition or the leaks could be wrong.
She also might just be following because of the chapter itself. We'll have to wait and see.
-
One of the mods mentioned there won't be any refunds for the offerings, no different then when others were retired so it's likely they'll be treated the same as the others.
Unless they had some really bad negotiations or some kind of bad blood arose I assume they'll try to renegotiate the licence in the future. I doubt it'll happen anytime soon but I think it's likely we'll see a "For a limited time Stranger Things content is returning!" post where they re-enable the Lab and Demo and everyone is purchasable for like a month along with a new skin.
Edit: Wow, a lot of posts popped up in the time I took to write that lol.
-
Not sure if you're including console but I got about 1500 hours. All trophies accept Skilled Huntress.
I've probably consistently had the majority of trophies since even before 1k hours. I'm a bit of a trophy hunter so I was working on them the majority of time I played. This is a bit of a wild guess but I'd say around 500-600 hours or so and I had most of the trophies (at the time) outside of skilled huntress and the 200 protection hits.

As someone who has never watched the movies I feel like I'll get by just fine now and be able to talk equally with people who have. This was a fantastic read.

I think something from Fatal Frame would work well. Not the most requested thing in the world but it comes up when video game horror pops up.

Yeah I get that ,but then we go back alllll they way to the start of all of this, do whatever you want just dont mention why you did it the way you did it and its fine.
Though then we get into another layer of problems because survivors technically can bait a reaction out of you and you might react just to spite them with a remark that they will then report you for and get you banned even though you did nothing wrong but get annoyed with toxic survivors....
If you say something inappropriate because someone else is baiting you then that's 100% on you. You can always minimize chat or just leave right away. Honestly, if you're concerned something you're about to say may be considered harassment then I really wouldn't chance saying it.
It's no different then IRL really. If someone is egging you on it's up to the person in question to not to slip into their teenage days and call them a [BAD WORD] [BAD WORD] [BAD WORD] lest they get a group gasp and then they're canceled on Twitter.
I'm making light of the situation but it's really not that complicated. If you're doing something bad then simply don't say why and enjoy doing the bad thing. If you're getting egged on and have a short temper that might cause you to say something stupid in the moment then don't let yourself see it in the first place by minimizing chat or leaving right away. It's up to the individual to take proper action to make sure they don't fall into a bad place when they know they might falter.
Kind of like if you're a recovering alcoholic you probably shouldn't hang out in bars. Not the best example but I hope you get what I'm trying to say.

I get that but likewise its rather weird to be punished for something undefined, how are you suppose to know you are not allowed to do something?
The entire law system is defined, it has to be, this leads to people seeing loopholes that sometimes get fixed with new rules but still, it is needed that people know the rules if you want to be able to fairly punish them for violating the rules.
If you're really worried then just don't mention your reasons. Tunnel people however you like and just don't say why and you'll avoid being punished. It's almost impossible to to get people on harassment unless they admit it first since it requires multiple games and very specific targeting.
Also, it's only a video game and not much more is going to go into making a Declaration of Rules covering the do's and don'ts of every possible scenario.

See, there we go, thanks, but now I just need a dev to confirm this as being their ruling as well.
Physical disability would mean you are not allowed to target someone over their character wearing glasses.
However you could still target someone over wearing a set outfit just because you dont think those should exist and want to punish those that support this system by buying set outfits, just an example.
You're unlikely to get any kind of confirmation from a Mod/Dev. Harassment is generally looked at as a case by case thing and as such they won't give you any defined rules of what is and isn't harassment lest people start to abuse the in-between.

23 almost 24
I got to 18 a couple days after it first released and then I took a break. I tend to play in chunks so not to wear myself out with constant DBD everyday. I'll make my way to 35 over the next couple days or so and then wait till the next level releases before playing more.

I'm saying people that suck will suck no matter what they're on and it has nothing to do with Console or PC. If what you're trying to say has nothing to do with Console vs PC then don't put it in your post in the first place. Here, I'll fix it for you.
Wow come on people. Stop being too scared to pull someone off a hook or take a protection hit. You dc or hide the whole game as well as sandbag others to save yourselves. Work on getting better at the game and stop being so scared.
Look it at that, now it's not about Console or PC but about people being too scared to do anything. A much better and healthier topic I'd say.

Not at all. Someone who does not want to play anymore will not start to play the game normally if they get unhooked.
At best, they go afk, at worst, they sandbag their teammates.
Only the Killer really benefits from Survivors not being able to suicide immediatly, because it is easier for them to get to the Hatch.
In my experience when you unhook someone trying to kill themselves they either play normally or more often spam notifications to die. If they play normally then great. If they spam notifications then they're wasting the killers time a little which wouldn't have been wasted otherwise.
I've only once had someone start to sandbag after a rescue and it was at 5 gens anyway so it wasn't that big a deal. If they start to sandbag you can also just report them. Overall, I think it's plenty worth the risk to save a suicidal teammate.
Suicide-ing for hatch does indeed take longer now but that's a different topic entirely. I'm talking entirely about rescuing salty people.

Time is important in a balanced match. In a 3v1 match, the killer wasting a few seconds hooking someone who let themselves die does nothing. If they have hook perks such as Pop or BBQ it in fact ######### over the remaining survivors.
It's still extra time they wouldn't have otherwise. Is it most likely meaningless? Yes, it probably won't do anything because a 3v1 is next to impossible to win but extra time is still extra time for those still willing to try.
You can play around BBQ multiple ways but POP is a solid counterpoint. In fact I'd say that's the strongest point you have for not unhooking the person. It only applies if the killer has Pop but I guess it comes down to whether the unhooked person wastes more then 20 seconds of time. Strategically, I guess unhooking there would be situational and not a guaranteed thing. I'll give you that one.

Then they just get grabbed off the hook and start spamming loud noise notifications until the killer hooks them again and kills them. It really does nothing but waste everyone’s time and give me a headache if I’m the one playing killer.
The killer still has to waste time to hook them. No matter how little time it is, it's still extra time for the team that they wouldn't have had otherwise.
Distracting the killer by spam notifications I'd also consider a bonus for the team. It makes the killer want to stop it which means they aren't checking the gens.

It stops salty people from killing themselves early. It's beautiful.
