The worse part is the inmense amount of Tricksters I'm playing against... it's almost like if NO ONE has seen gameplay/ feedback from the PTB, including killers from PC.
-
It's really not an infinite, and if you were playing someone with 110% speed that's not Sh¡tster just use your power. If you do keep having trouble with it try running Bamboozle consistently tho.
-
Never 🥰 Hope that helps!
-
Thank you for your feedback! The devs will proceed to ignore it as they did with everyone else when they though releasing him was a good idea :D
-
#5 He looks cool and all but his aesthetic and character model don't really blend in with the rest of the killers. At least some of his cosmetics are cool but his default is garbage 🥰

Hi all! Ive started playing the game recently and have been enjoying huntress and got excited to see the trickster be added to Dead By Daylight. I decided to pick him up and hes WAAYY better than Huntress! It makes me kind of sad to see Huntress go down a notch with his release but hes SOO good! If you still like Huntress that's fine but I think Trickster is just better now! Good luck in all your games :)
Genuine advice, try to learn Huntress instead! She's much more fun, rewarding, and she's actually fun to play against :D !

Is this a troll thread?

The rift is just hot garbage but some people buy it I guess. I mean, they're still releasing new rifts even if all we do is complain about it
-
You really just put Deathslinger (no brain) over Huntress (does have a skill ceiling)?
-
It would require a lot of creativity to do this with every perk. Tho what you said about unlocking a perk to lvl 1 and then paying your own BP to get it to tier 3 in your inventory sounds lovely.

So IGN just gave Dead By Daylight a 9/10 review, personally I would give it a 5.5-6/10 but what do you guys think? Does DBD in it's current state deserve to be rated so high?
"An incredible slasher film simulator, and the best asymmetrical multiplayer game around."
With their final verdict being:
"Dead by Daylight’s inventive concept for a competitive horror game strikes an incredible balance between two very different styles of play, and makes both compelling. Channeling the slasher movie spirit, each match feels like a mini horror movie on both sides. Whether you’re the efficient and unpredictable killer, or one of the strategically elusive survivors, the thrill of the chase and the ever-present threat that even the best-laid plans can go awry keep Dead by Daylight feeling timely, even after five years of thrill kills."
I love how they ignored the grind so much. I have 400 hours and I still don't have all the teachables (I'm at around half of them)
-
The funny part is that this outfits are accessible for free in mobile while in PC you need to grind the BP :D
-
I like how this whole post just became an argument between two users and the only actually good reply is the first one
-
If u don't want survivor to kts first hook play Legion without thana. I also approve going against Deathslingers if they have no aim but it's not usually the case.
-
I mean I don't want to hear anything about this yet since us SoloQueuers can't even see our teammates' perks :)
-
The thing is, at least or me, the killer challenges are easier. Unless it's a "Kill X survivors during the endgame" or "Break X pallets or gens in a single match", the rest of the missions are pretty easy. For survivors instead, they get "Cleanse 1X totems", "stun the killer X times in a match" or the infamous "finish 2 gens while on the killer's terror radius"
-
I mean, from my POV og PH did deserve 110% but not in his current state, he does have a high skill ceiling and he is punishing to noobs. As for trickster, the thing is there's literally no skill to him so it'd make no sense to make him 115% when you can just randomly spam your knives and eventually down someone.
-
I never DC usually. If I ever kms on hook it's probably because it's a deathslinger. Other than that, if I do DC or kms to any other killer it's because of my trash teammates :D

What do you mean "glitched to no end"? I haven't heard about the glitches. (I've never played her, but I was thinking about getting her at some point.)
Her puke's hitboxes need DESPERATE help. Sometimes survivor even do the animation where they get infected and start coughing but they dont get actually infected :) She could also use a buff to her green puke and better spawn points for her fountains.

Am I really one of the only people that feels like the pallets on the Game are not that big of an issue? Like indoor maps are my favorites because I don't just chase a survivor in their footsteps. I take alternate paths and intercept and it makes pallets far less of an issue. I regularly get 2-3 kills on this map (believe me, 4Ks are not that important).
I agree with your statement in that the map is balanced. Hard to locate gens and loops, loads of LoS breakers and incredibly good totem spawns. But survivors do have a lot of tools in their advantage. The biggest issue with this map now is how awful it feels to play in, its a w key sim for survivors and a space bar spam game for killers

Have you seen psychopaths IRL? They don't look like Huntress, Myers, Pig, or Ghostface. 99% of them look like any normal person.
Well, you're right but what I mean is, every killer does look creepy in their own ways, and if they don't, at least they look scary or disturbing. Trickster does fit the definition of a psycho in his lore, and his appereance is okay, it's just it doesn't really blend in like the other killers. The fact that he also doesn't have a map makes him look even more out of place.
-
If you aren't using add-ons, you Frenzy would probably run out if you did that even in small maps probably. I barely play Legion tho.
-
I mean, they're adding a literal human with no changes or scary looking outfit whatsoever. At least Huntress, Myers, Pig and Ghostie look like psychopaths. Other killers do have a disturbing aesthetic like Hag, Plague or Twins. Trickster doesn't even have injuries LOL.
-
I agree with most of these but Hag needs to be higher. I'm tired of seeing certain content creators play Hag and doing things like placing the trap right under the pallet. She does have a skill ceiling probably in A or B. Also some of y'all are placing Pig in like A or B tier and there's like no skill at all with her bear traps and crouching isn't hard if you have good game sense. I can't tell the difference between a dedicated Pig main and a decently good killer player who just played her randomly.
-
I don't like slugging because I'm blind and I play with music on. Besides that, I do believe slugging is key for some snowballing killers like Hag, Corrupt Purge Plague and Oni.

I feel like this could almost be a chart of survivor popularity. Claudette at the top, then the other free survivors, then the survivors that came out relatively early... There's a few outliers sure, but still. Kind of speaks volumes about out community, doesn't it? Does it? I don't know, it feels like it does but I can't put my finger on why
Oh my god you're absolutely right how was I so blind

There is truth in it and sometimes people think I'm going to be toxic just because i chose to play with Feng or Meg.
True. I don't like Megs, especially if they're prestiged or have an outfit. If not, I usually think they're newbies.

Just had a match as Blight where a Jane DCed on the first down. Can you people please stop with that? Play the damn game and don't ruin the other 3 survivors' experience.
I barely ever DC. If I ever DC it is not for the killer bu the teammates. The last time I DCed was about 2 days ago because I led the killer to a gen I knew was being worked on to see if my friends could take a hit. Not one, but TWO survivors proceeded to hide behind a rock and leave me to die. Then they farmed me.
I do know that people DC because of killer more often than not, but most of us SoloQueuers only DC for bad teams.
-
Window loops are much easier to counter by the killer an the only ones are T and L, Shack and long C walls. The rest of the windows are more of a way to gain distance than a loop. Blocking a window is okay and good survivors won't give a s!¡t. Blocking a pallet means denying an entire loop. I do agree it should have no cooldown, but also make it easier to trigger, since the speed boost survivors gain is enough to move out of the Hex's range.

We need 1 item to fight against the killer, at least 1 use per match. NEW ITEM idea to be a bat found in the BW and we can use it 1 time per match. If the killer is carrying a survivor he will let go if another survivor hit him with that bat. Also you can hit him in a chase if you hide behind a wall and you can hit him before he hits you. And you stun him 3/4/5 seconds.
It will be fun, what do you think?
Head On is a teaachable Unique Jane Romero perk. It can be unlocked for other characters from Level 40 onwards.
When your mind is set, there better be no one standing in your way.
While standing in a Locker for 3 seconds, Head On activates.
While Head On is activated, performing a rushed action to leave a Locker stuns the Killer for 3 seconds if they are standing within range.
Causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds if the stun was successful.
You do not recover from Exhaustion while running.
Head On cannot be used when Exhausted or when you have accrued Stillness Crows.
-
I would genuinely cry if this happened to me because SoloQ is hard.
-
I play in Europe and I do face gen rushing more often than not so I've started bringing Corrupt Intervention a lot. I do believe that's not enough to stop gen rushing tho.
-
I once went against this Huntress in Léry's that didn't even facecamp me and I died on my first hook without even attempting any escapes :D
-
I've run Fixated - Lighweight sometimes whilts playing Blendette and it does have a nice effect that's noticeable.
-
Besides Spine Chill which was quite mentioned here, I always use BT and any Exhaustion perk that isn't Adrenaline or Dead Hard. I hate running Adrenaline soloing, because the amount of times it became a wasted perk slot overlap the times it did save me. I prefer using Balanced or Lither because they're the best ones to extend a chase, but I do use Head On and Sprint Burst too.

I've emptied my wallet to buy 2 skins for her this past week and now this I can't even BREATHE.

If you're going for wins, Thana isn't the best. It's effect is miniscule and the perk is designed to make people want to heal, which is sort of what you want on Plague but also... If they were going to cleanse, they would cleanse without Thana.
The strongest build I've found so far is Ruin/Undying/Discordance/Infectious Fright. It's designed to take advantage of an aggressive playstyle, but maybe that's not your cup of tea
I'm prestiging her actually so I can't use half the perks, but still this looks like a good build. I've never tried Ruin Undying on her since I've unlocked Undying barely a week ago or so- I do use Infectious Fright on her, if you have you Corrupt Purge you can pull off some insane plays. Discordance is a good perk in general. I'll try this!

I've always been of the opinion that the (green) bile should do something besides get people sick, and I think the perfect thing for it to do is to speed up gen regression. Given how crap base gen regression currently is, I don't think that's an unreasonable ask at all.
As a Plague main who can't play without Pop + Thana if I want to get at least a kill I do believe this'd be a huge improvement.
Regarding what the other people are saying, yes, pools of devotion have ######### spawns that could be improved. She could use some number and QoL changes regarding her vomit's trayectory and the amount of sickness it transmits. I hope the devs do check this thread out since it's becoming so popular, she does need some love!

Given this games community, its impossible to tell what is and isn't a meme these days 😂
I don't blame you, the perk design is so odd that we can't figure out anything nowadays (also sorry for being slightly mean lol)
-
This is a really good thing actually! It's a huge nerf to Spirit since now she can't fake her power at all :D
-
@Pipefish said:
None of them are OP lol
1. First one just don't body block, killer is slow while carrying survivor anyway.
2. Hex, can be broken and waste of a perk.
3. Do totems are just cleanse Noed, its not that hard to find once the fifth generator pops!
Imagine not figuring out this post is a meme.
Literally all of the perks are reworked version of older ones except for the Hex, which is genuinely worse than Bamboozle and the best maps for totems (Léry's, Midwich and Hawkins) don't even have that many windows and have more pallets over anything.
-
If you really think another Legion in the game is good... I can't even-
PD: Self Sustain is literally useless. The only killer that would more or less be punsihed by it would be Plague and it's alright since she disables half the survivor perks in the game (healing related).
-
Wait I was pretty sure he was part of a license. I mean how does he go even resemble DbD at all.
