  • David King protects his precious Dwight and scardy Dwight gets out of a closet just for his David because he's so nice to him. #gayforthestay.

Jake and Claudette hang out sometime, there's a bond between them. Not exactly romantic but more like deep friendship with each other and kinship. They share knowledge about plants and survival.

Jane knows Ace from before she was pulled into the realm. She may or may not have hooked up with him while they she was drunk in a bar while filming in South America.

    Laurie and Feng are cuties.

Also try throw bottle at top of tree near gen

The gas will spread wider and you might catch survivor who's hiding the near gen

    For perks, you can pick:

    BBQ&Chili/Ruin: Because top tier

    Enduring + Spirit Fury + Bamboozle: Because <cute 4 letter word> looper

Monitor and Abuse: So you can throw bottle before they hear your heartbeat

    Discordance: Double gas strike!

I've figured that one out myself. Yeah its really nice for catching survivors near gens.

  • I mean I'd imagine it'd be pretty toxic, but truth be told it sounds like to me the survivors made a big mistake if they managed to get any person(s) down there once the gates are powered.

Its very risky even now unless the basement is close enough to an exit that the killer will just get destroyed by BT, DS + Medkit or body blocking by other survivors.

The basement is not meant to be a safe place, that's why they get paired next to strong survivor areas with decent pallets.

  • I mean getting an easy first hit on multiple people (if the duration changes are as good as it sounds) willtotally be much more worth it now, since they can end chases faster with normal Ms.

Survivors need to heal on top of the mend, which actually puts a little more pressure than the plagues sickness status. (Wow they're really similar now lol)

Legion sounds like how Freddy was intended to be in function. It'll be interesting to test first hand tho.

  • Clown can drop a bottle at a potential running route on top of using it with enduring. He can punish DS so hard.

  • David. I am how you say? *"Just a hole sir."*

Kate has me questioning my homesexuality. 🤔

  • @MegsAreEvil said:

the problem are those filthy survs that unhook but dont heal. they screw up the whole game.

Also those annoying survivors that don't let people with wmi heal them despite seeing that the killer is currently getting looped on the other side of the map. Runs to a corner and killer gets them after the killer has dealth with the other survivor.

  • I've collected an assortments of a boat loads worth of medkits. So I don't bring SC as often as I usedto. .o.

Like the others said, games go much faster nowadays. It's especially true once you creep up the ranks.

If I play with swf I never bring SC 92/100 of the time.

But even in solos, if I run out of medkits finding a survivor isn't too difficult because you should just move to a gen and just repair until a survivor finds you or you run into them as you are looking for a gen to repair.

Bond is a nice substitute to SC because it can be very informational on top of the ability to find survivors to heal you.

Dont forget them dcing when they see legion/nurse

Haven't seen the nurse DC's in a while hehe. Unless the people get downed first.

Legion games are understandable, it's either an insufferable long game of 45 mends or a medium timed game of tunneling with the exploit or a short fmt game or a fast game of survivors successfully gen rushing before the legion manages to sacrifice anyone. Lol.

  • I understand crashes during actual gameplay can happen, I've had it happen to me while playing both sides. Repairing boom randomly gets DC, hooking a survivor and going to a gen boom crash as killer. But those are rare.

9/10 DC I see are during convenient times = first down or while they're getting hooked by the killer, a killer doing poorly and its near the end of the game.

That suggestion sounds great, but given bhvr's track record, that sounds like its way for them to mess up mm for everyone even more. I'd be content with them just giving people a time penalty once they get the real DC/crashing under control.

Time penalty before can queue again:

    1st 3 mins

    2nd 10 mins

    3rd 30 mins

    4th 1 hour

    3 hours

    6 hours

    Yada3..

They also would need to make it so they can adjust the penalty remotely without needing to patch the game, =server sided instead of client sided. In case they a patch that crashes a lot of games and a fast hotfix can't be pushed out.

  • The nerf to the ms really hit her hard.

She seems to have a lot of trouble keeping pressure on the survivors, her ability to down survivors to "balance" that doesn't even properly compensate for it.

While I play her a lot and had decent success with her in red ranks,I found that I was doing way better off as Wraith or Freddy. It doesn't help that her BP gains are still bad.

Right now survivors don't have that strong of an initiative to cleanse against her, she's very vulnerable to getting countered by swf too because until she gets a corrupt purge her power does squat !@#% in a chase. Even then the ms penalty is so bad, you're better off taking a huntress if you wanna go around using a ranged ability.

I feel like if the act vomiting would force survivors to get interrupted when they're doing objectives or when they're running, it would pressure them more to go cleanse and slow down the game a bit if she wants to spread the love a bit.

Like the pig before her buff, the plague is really really close to being viable in any level of gameplay but the nerfs she got and the general inconsistent nature of the purging collision (sometimes a corrupt purge would hit some sort of invisible barrier in front of her) makes her a tough choice to pick over other killers, since she doesn't really excel in anything that the other killers can do better.

I think that grinding is ok.
Maybe just Remove some trash item/addon/offering that no one use them
    ..

This.. I'm mostly fine with the grinding ATM hell I have every level 3 perk on every the characters (except for chapter x because ######### legion) but if there's one thing that really bothers me is the amount of trash items that fill up the bloodweb.

I have no desire to use 60% of the items I find on the bw. Luckily some killer have gotten an add-on rework so they aren't too bad except for the trash offerings.

For the survivors it's really bad tho. Every item has maybe 3 good addons meanwhile the rest are just there to superficially inflate the bw. It's super bad because a lot of the addons for keys/maps spawn at way hiigh a rate. You'd get like 10 nodes for these item's add-on per bw meanwhile the items will probably only spawn in the bw every three bw or so.

You'll get stuck with a ton of addons that you never get to use in the end.

    Game?

I'd imagine game would be as problematic as lerys is .

  • I did an experiment a few months back where for two weeks straight I used twitch in my name and I got morid multiple times a day. it was iconic.

  • If we're gonna give a haste benefit (which is a very powerful benefit to have have my say, than we might as well as let it be its own perk. For me I just what Fireup to get flat buffs and make 1 token a thing.

  • I'm on the camp of just observing Legion right now, their power doesn't interest me and their perks are just so and so. The main thing I'm actually into about Legion is the whole different character thing, I'm waiting to see how prestiging and unlocking the Joey and Susie will be like.

Jeff on the other hand I'm pretty looking forward too. That man is a frigging buffet. an absolute unit. a thicc snacc. Not only that but he's got two pretty cool perks on him.

So I'm gonna wait for maybe a few months after release to see if they'll adjust anything on them, making it the first chapter that I won't buy on launch day. (though judging by their track record wraith, hag, freddy, lf and pig. It might take longer for anything significant to happen to them).

I can just get all my other characters to P3 with all perks until then.

Not all killers are meant to be viable (guess that also holds when talking about BP  )

That quote is messed up on so many levels… shakehead

sadly that's what the devs said in one stream as far i remember.i would love to see some buffs tho... just some. not many. but some.

That's so misconstrued. It was more that not every killer has to be nurse tier, _ rather than hey we're purposely making killers freddy tier to waste your money for the lulz_.

That said Legion could be a lot better. They did the spirit right post her release giving her what she needed.

  • @powerbats said:
Freddy would like to have a word with you.

Freddy's deviousness is fine as far as I can tell. I've been playing him in rank ones all weekend and I've managed to have gotten 6k bp in most of games I'm in, even the ones where most of the survivors leave. Even had max deviousness if the survivors are good and I engage them a lot.

  • There's a minimum distance that a pallet can spawn from one another, this will take a bit of time to get adjusted too and will be different on a game to game basis so you'll need to scout areas first before getting into chases.

The YE map is pretty big and has a lot of hiding spots due to a lot of survivor height rocks and plenty of thick foliage. Its one of the maps that really encourages you to hide from the killer which is why its pallet count feels lower especially when you consider its size.

Best tip I can give is to do your best to check the map layout first before you get chased. Spending 15 seconds looking for a pallet to go too will be much better time spent than the time it takes for the killer to down you and get you on a hook.

  • Odd I would've thought about buffing him instead of nerfing him. I would like to see him gain faster but lose his tier 3 faster. Just wanna see him in chases more than stalking and farming people.

  • @Aerys said:
I think Left Behind's main purpose would be to get another Gen done and then look for the hatch assuming that your team didn't get two done in time. To that end the perk itself almost doesn't need to exist as in top rank games that'll never happen and the Survivor will simply find the hatch and leave.

Perhaps Left Behind should give another buff entirely, something like a 5% haste for 60 seconds and a buff where if struck in the injured state they wouldn't go down for 25s unless hit again, akin to Borrowed Time. That would enable a Survivor to find and use the hatch more effectively if they end up being the last one left. However, I would ensure that the buff stipulates and only activates so long as the other three survivors were killed and before Gens are done, the buff should not activate during the Exit Gate phase. Just my two cents anyhow.

that is a really good idea

  • The devs always make questionable decisions with perks, but this one perk sure is...a choice.

  • I'm thinking Victorian as well, those Victorian era Doctor and Nurse skins might be a skin that can get expended on with a survivor collection. Since new chapters have been releasing with skins that have a similar theme.

  • Nerf her how?

Woop the nurse doesn't really need any more nerfs. I don't think she could ever get nerfed properly, because the whole idea of her ability is to turn the game over on its head.

A lot of nurse in my region, the best advice really is to stealth her. If you get caught be as unpredictable as you can with her, the nurse relies a lot on prediction and correct positioning. Don't ever try to pull the same thing too many times because a nurse that's played enough of her will read you to filth and drag your *** to the closest hook if she catches on.

  • Right after Freddy... LF is definitely worth looking into.

Leatherface is a worse Hillbilly in every aspect. Even with the value of his camping and basement denial the changes to patch 2.2.0 and the patch where Tinkerer got reworked really affected him negatively.

Pig doesn't need a rework more so straight out buffs and some deviousness gain for pete's sake. She just needs more range on her ambush so she can use them more often. She mostly needs the treatment the clown got, increase her base kit (ambush dash sneak) slightly and tone down the addons that buff these aspects of the kit. Her puzzles can stay the same as they are atm. Her pink addons need to get adjusted tho they suck ligma.

  • @Master said:
Lets face it, faster animations are a nice-to-have, but its not gonna change a lot^^
The concept of traps is simply flawed in a solo-game where SWF can communicate via voice comms

It's downed to 2 from 5. Which is more than half. That alone should bump up her map pressure to engage survivors more, especially with the range buff.

  • The third seal.the chaos and terror when they realize two of them are downed and they can't find each other is such a fun experience to put the survivors in.

DH is okay but I dont like the requirements same thing with HL.

Ruin is a perk that you have to pick outif you dont want to insta lose and I hate perks that have that kind use.

    Thrill is just there. O.o

  • FIrst of all. I have all the perks on Freddy so I've put some time on him.

Freddy is straight up obnoxious to play against for both sides. Survivors hate not being able to hide from him, he tunnels them one by one and that's bad because the tunneled survivor will get tunnel fatigued and the rest of the survivors won't get enough BP in the match because Freddy is only dealing with one survivor at a time.

His kit is also weak to play as, SC should not be able to wake a survivor up. When transitioning into Dream World survivors should not be able to repair, heal, cleanse or any action progression.

One of the only decent ways you can play Freddy is when you stack the dress addons together, because where it stands right now skill checks are triggering too often but the problem with that is that it would suck bawls for the survivors.

    Hears Lalalala >> quits game.

Overall his kit is just bad and annoying to play against. _

You already get 500 from a trap death. The trap set at 500 is good imo, because it's literally just downing someone and holding M2 for a few seconds. 800 for that is a little too rewarding. Trap timer sounds good though.

    fixed

What if it was something in between like 650-750?

  • subreddit is more like a killer leaning (not fully killer echo chamber but it leans more in killers) than a survivor echo chamber.

But most of subreddit is 60% memes, 20% gays thirsting over shirtless david and male characters, 10% artwork, and the rest divided equally among discussions, rants, suggestions and misc stuff.

  • People also say Chucky will never come. is there hope? they did say on the SAW stream that initially they have Billy (Jigsaw doll) in the game before they committed to doing Amanda, due to time requirement that it would've demanded to have a killer of that size moving up and down stairs with survivors on them.

  • The ether changes are a counter balance and are actually an overall buff.

Since the base kit duration is being increased, even with the slight reduction in time. They still will last longer now. Its a healthy duration where it needs to be.

  • Freddy I just honestly don't like what his playstyle encourages and how hard he tunnel. You also barely get any points from him that coupled with how survivors wrecklessly rescue someone off the hook literally 3 seconds after freddy hooked them. All make for a very boring and toxic experience for me.

He's the only killer that I dc from regardless of if the Freddy is good or not, or if I was losing or winning.

Doctors can be bad with certain builds and you essentially can't get away from him, breathing room is minimal and i can see how that can frustrate people. But he's okay I supposed.

He comes 2nd place to Pig. I love her because she's just so cute. Seeing her crouch around, nod at you, walk away. So cute.

Oh my life. She is. I nod at the survivors a lot because of it.

  • I just got the SAW chapter and I'm really liking the Pig, the only problem is that her perks are so bad.

    Pig>Shape>Cannibal>Nightmare.

Pig has a fun kit. Shape has a good kit. Cannibal was fun and is probably my most played out of the four. Freddy was a mistake, he's terrible to play and also terrible and outright unfun to play against.

  • True true.

I do want to see the games be reasonably slower, hopefully with the changes to the pallets it'll mean we'd see shorter chases. But I am concerned if only going to fix the issue with increasing the time of repairs, I think making the survivors spend more time finding totems (especially those godforsaken hex totems) would be a good place to start to help lengthen up the games.

Its appalling to see that a match be make or break by one perk.

That's basically the point. It's all they have to do so it happens too fast.

Yups that's why I think its very iffy to play right now. With how long survivors can stall on pallets loops and how little incentive there is to do other things it just makes the game overwhelmingly fast for most of the killers, especially ones that weren't for chasing.
