Clown balance changes

The Clown changes

Addon - Ether 10% (rare) +1.0s to +0.66s
Addon - Ether 15% (very rare) +1.5s to +1.0s
Addon - Ether 5% (common) +0.5s to +0.33s
Addon - Flask of Bleach: removed intoxication penalty effect.
Addon - Garish Makeup Kit (very rare) +1.0s to +0.66s
Addon - Redhead's Pinky Finger: removed intoxication penalty effect.
Addon - Smelly Inner Soles 15% to 20%.
Addon - VHS Porn 25% to 35%.
Increased the Based Intoxication time of the Afterpiece Tonic (power) from 1.5 sec. to 2.0 sec.
Removed the slowdown penalty of holding the bomb (-9% to 0%)

What does that mean ether from +1.0s to 0.66s, what are those values refering to?
And removed intoxication penalty effect, what does that mean? All other effects of the toxic gas are gone now and there is only the hindered/exposed effect?

Someone please enlighten me, are these nerfs? Did the survivors cry enough, so he gets nerfed now? :angry:

    They are all buffs actually.

    Those are the bonuses given by addons. Since they buffed the base duration, they reduced the addons effect a bit, but the overall duration is still bigger than before.

    Some addons had penalties like reduced intoxication duration. They removed the penalties so those addons only give a bonus.

    So the numbers refer only to the time being intoxicated?
    +1.0s to +0.66s means that the addons previously added 1 sec to base value and now adds 0.66 to base value?

    The ether changes are a counter balance and are actually an overall buff.

    Since the base kit duration is being increased, even with the slight reduction in time. They still will last longer now. Its a healthy duration where it needs to be.

    He got buffed across the table.

    So.. uh, no, he wasn't nerfed because of survivor tears.
