Just no. If you are so overconfident that you give up on a health state, you do not need any more buffs.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Rofl did you even read what was said instead of doing your no buff thing again? Since bonus bloodpints isn't a buff in any way shape or form to gameplay.
Which is just downright wrong.
Buffing bloodpoints gives you access to more high quality items, add ons and offerings.
So please to not try to hide the advantage, because it is insulting to everyones intellect. There are perks which grant bp without being crippled, so #########.

This is nonsense, lol. This won't fix #########, nor change anything regarding looping.
I beg to differ, I imagine that it will give survivors less of a window to vault safely meaning that a baited vault can result in a hit where the late vault will result in a grab. It will encourage survivors to drop a pallet and keep moving.
You just can move around to generate speed and vault the pallet then inf times, that's what high skilled survivors do with windows all the time, they know the speed and how to get it.
The devs need to replace the safe pallets and window vaults, that's it.(If they would be experienced in what they are doing, they shouldn't have messed up the pallets and windows in the first place like they are now...)
It's not that simple to balance this game.
The game is full of design flaws and poorly choices and fast vaulting is one of them, due to it being based on speed which players can generate with 360ing, lol. -

Gosh devs, just [BAD WORD] add a delay for using the flashlight, like 0.5 seconds.
Or deplete the battery more for first clicking it, so many potencial preventions...don't make everyone suffer for a few people doing a little annoying thing.
How does someone suffer from not being able to spam the click noise anymore?
If you deplete the charges on clicking for like 1%, it wouldn't really matter to people using it to blind the killer, but to people who are spaming the click noise as their flashlight is depleting.
Also there is still the option to add a delay which doesn't hurt anyone.

They just have to redo network code, not the whole game.

It's been like 2 years.
2 years of self care, decisive strike, sprint burst and adrenaline crutch.I just played a round without self care, it felt awesome.
I actually feared the killer as they could insta down me.
I was [BAD WORD] frightened, then I equipped self care, decisive, sprint burst and good ol adrenaline back.
Then again there was no [BAD WORD] challenge at all, I wasn't feeling scared, I was feeling superior...
The only situation I really felt helpless (which should be all the time the killer hunts me in my opinion) is when I am the last survivor alive. These 4 (maybe more) perks are 0% balanced and way too user friendly and overpowered (adrenaline is actually ok, if the "devs" finally fix gen rushing).
But even without perks, a proper team can still gen rush or loop for a really long time at given places.Whenever I play survivor, I dominate the killer almost every game.
I just dominate them over and over again. It doesn't even feel like fun anymore.Whenever I loose, it's due to the killer facecamping/tunneling (the real tunneling) me, being a nurse or due to HIGHLY incompetent teammates.
Never because I really got outplayed until my death. It just bothers me the game is balanced around overpowered perks, poorly placed map structures and exploits.
As killer you are forced to run Ruin, as survivor you are forced to run self care + any exhaustion perk.
If you don't equip those perks and none of your teammates does, your chance to loose is significantly higher (like 80% higher if you are a bad player).Without perks (mainly as killer) only if the opponent is #########, you are able to win those games then.
Please devs, finally adress these issues.
They suck, I was used to the game being a competitive horror game, but the horror aspect is completely gone, due to overpowered perks, (infinite) loops and gen rushing.
Since I entered red ranks I don't feel the fun I had when first playing dead by daylight.Just try to balance both sides equally. For once.
I wanna get frightened as survivor and make people frightened as killer, that's the only reason for me I actually began playing this game.I stopped playing this way, because I can't anymore due to me being rank 1 and everyone being in tryhard mode there.
I am now using crutch perks, crutch strategies and in general don't bring fun to survivors/killers I verse.I don't want to play that way, I really don't want to.
But everytime I try to play for fun, I get dominated, and people are always sofucking toxic (for no reason), they make me angry as [BAD WORD] and I return to playing like a bastard. always.I don't wanna stop playing DbD, just because the balance is screwed since the release.
Just have a great day and try to be less toxic, dear players, maybe we can until the game is fixed, create a enoyable experience for every player.
ok so is noed a crutch perk? yes, stop complaining about really good survivor perks when you killers have plenty of perks to counter them. you hate DS use unnerving presence. you hate self care? bring sloppy butcher. you hate adrenaline? bring NOED. you hate sprint burst? just dont swing at them and just follow if you know they have it your just mad because sprint burst is now used before exhaustion add-ons can do anything to stop the perks (AKA the clowns exhaustion bottles). the only real way to win against as a killer is to stop complaining about survivor perks and learn how to work around them like i did when i went from playing only survivor to playing survivor sometimes and killer sometimes.
Welp, I'm gonna go in depth to why nearly all of your arguments are invalid.
(Shouldn't have posted in the survivor biased forum)NOED can be annulated completely thus it is not a crutch perk. It is a viable counter to gen rushing which doesn't even get activated if the survivors destroyed all the totems, which can be done in like 1-2 minutes.
It's apart ruin the only thing you have as killer to actually stop people rushing you.I am not a killer main, I am playing both sides, but I don't feel any challenge at playing survivor against a generally considered fair playing killer. Because there is none.
Why do killers need to run perks to counter overpowered survivor perks?
They serve no purpose than possible nerfing a survivor perk to the status they actually should be at by default.About the perk examples you gave:
Unnerving Presence only does make the dstrike skillcheck zone smaller, but it is still easy for a good survivor to hit the skill check. Imagine now 4 decisive strikes. Maybe 1 good survivor will fail their skill check and you still chased down 3 people just to find them standing by a nearby pallet in 100% safety.Sloppy Butcher doesn't counter Self Care at all, lol.
It makes healing slower by 50%.I
It's a good perk, don't get me wrong, but you are still able to heal in no danger when being away from the killer when doing so. You aren't able without this specific perk in ANY case without a med kit (which effectively prevents you from bringing any item than a med kit). You'll have to find a teammate or not heal. This slows the game down a lot and the killer actually has a chance to stop gen rushing.
But with self care this gameplay aspect is fully gone.NOED is not a counter againt Adrenaline either. These are two completely different perks, imagine 4 survivors bringing adrenaline and 1 killer brings NOED. Effectively 4 survivors heal 1 health state and get a sprint burst. The killer then has to catch up while there are still pallets, window loops and maybe a few dstrikes around.
Only in very few situations NOED does anything against Adrenaline. NOED just makes the endgame more dangerous for survivors when the survivors didn't cleanse all the totems. So if you search and find a survivor successfully, they get to sprint away to a 100% safe pallet or window loop, just because they can.
Does the killer have a ambush attack on pressing a button like the pig every 40 seconds?
No? Guess why killers are complaining about weak perks.I am not a killer main, I am playing both sides nearly equally.
I love playing survivor and I love playing killer, I actually am used to these perks as killer, but I was complaining as survivor, when I wrote this thread. It's not fun for me playing as survivor with the top perks as they are too overpowerd (compared to the killer alternatives).
I just feel ultimatively safe as survivor as I have like 3 second chance perks in my pocket to ######### the killer completely up.I regularly stop playing with these perks, but I keep getting back to them, as without them it is very hard to actually win game in a solo queue with ######### mates all the time.
It just destroys the game for me and the killer I'm versing.
However when I feel killer, I don't get the opportunity in the red ranks to configure my perk loadout as I want.
I am forced to certain perks as otherwise the game is over within 3 minutes.I just want the devs to balanc the game for both sides.
Currently atleast for the perks it is certainly not. -

And that without going through all the stages which serves no reason anyway.i dont mind dying instantly as the last survivor if it allowed you to try and escape off the hook and if you didn't you would just die instantly and just give you all the points for struggle but it takes the point away from struggle
Even if you get off the hook, the killer just smacks you down another time, you don't deserve to live as last survivor on hook anyways.

Borrowed Time is alright for me.
It should be buffed to be honest to work even if the killer is not in range to counter insidious.
Maybe reduce the time to trigger borrowed time to 10 seconds and increase the bleed out to 30 seconds. -
It could easily be fixed with forcing the survivor to do a skill check if the skill check sound appears. (able to be cancelled with running)

Self Care is not broken, and I'll repeat it once more, is not in need of any buffs or nerfs. Maybe even reverse back to the old tiers, but it's not a problem. I'll thoroughly explain, and this is just from personal experience.- The biggest concern with self care people seem to have: the risky action of bodyblocking.
People believe that if they nerf self care, or simply don't even have it as a perk, it will end this.
No, it won't, and it certainly hasn't. Any experienced player should not be afraid of being injured without healing yourself with self care. If I'm healthy, I'm still going to through a bodyblock if it's necessary. Guys, there's a perk that even supports it, used with No Mither.... David's perks....
Anyway, what people fail to understand is, if you have one person in your grasp, 3 others bodyblock and you hit them all. You have two options:
Wack them all and potentially lose the hook
Wack one or two, drop, and rinse and repeat. Many Killers have done this when there's a swarm, and it has resulted in many penalties on our end for not expecting the killer to drop and go after the first or second injured bodyblocking guy.If that does happen: Everybody now has to heal, which is resulting in less generator progress being done (People are dumb and don't gen rush if they're all injured, and if they're all self caring that's 40s~ off a gen, which is about half a generator they missed out on completing. Statistics may be wrong, correct if so, but regardless time they are healing, is time they are NOT doing their objective, which is essentially slowing down the game.)
"Self Care is a crutch"
Okay, I can see your arguments there. It's a very reliant perk, I agree. But so is Hex: Ruin, BBQ, and Nurse's. It's the super meta these days, and none of these perks are in need of a buff or nerf (minus the hex system but that's irrelevant). I mean, can't Survivors have a single perk that IS powerful? It just seems like everything we have as survivors is being totally picked at bit by bit... Utitlize your auditory senses, utilize Nurse's (You can't say Nurse's is trash perk as it doesn't barely work or else it wouldn't be META.)
The survivor was not found while healing for roughly 40s~(?), and yet you say they don't deserve the heal? Why not? You failed to find them even though they are grunting, blood pools, foot steps, grass noises, footstep noises... you still failed. Or even if you lost the chase, they obviously deserve to go on and heal.
And healing is not even a problem to begin with considering over half of the killer options, perks and powers included, OFFER INSTA DOWNS. But hey, healing is the main problem, right? Not the length of gens, length of chases due to loops, but it's the most basic mechanic in the game, right?
Not to mention, if Self Care gets touched, which by the sounds of it if it does it's gonna be a pretty serious nerf, I'll happily run Bond and Leader instead, which means: Faster Heals, Faster gen rushes, and more coordination! Actually hey, maybe you should nerf Self Care. It sounds way more beneficial. No salt, no jokes, I'm okay with Bond being meta and knowing my fellow teammates position nearly 24/7 instead of a simple 40s~(?) heal. By the way, this game is totally playable without perks even at Rank 1 (Not entirely the same for Killers...unless it's Billy or Nurse but it could be a give or take) and I never see much of a difference when I don't bring Self Care, which tells me it's not in need of any changes, but to each their own with ones opinion.

Talking anecdotally about game balance proves nothing, because too much in anecdotes is dependent on RNG, especially in DbD. Which is why I will addressing your fundamentally flawed claims from the theoretical perspective. I don't need to prove anything, because once again, you've started off with claims that your 'evidence' does not prove to be true, but I'll still address what you had to say as a courtesy to you.
As you say, survivors don't need SC to bodyblock. So its removal/nerf shouldn't impact survivors who want to bodyblock, right? Thanks for furthering my argument.
The problem with your math of bodyblocking on the way to the hook, is that it depends on what stage of travel to the hook the bodyblock is done, and there's too much variance in potential circumstances to be able to discuss effectively, the effectiveness of a bodyblock. Remember, all it takes is one bodyblock to get a survivor off the killer's shoulder in the 'best' case, and in the 'worst' case, even 3 bodyblocking survivors can't save a survivor from being hooked. If they're all SC'ing, that's not 40 seconds off of gens. It's 20, since they're healing simultaneously. Which is barely enough time for the killer to complete the hooking and get the first survivor found to the first pallet of that chase, after the bodyblock.
On top of that, getting someone off the killer's shoulder buys far more than 20 seconds of time, since we both know that chases go on far longer than 20 seconds, so in actuality, it's not beneficial to the killer to have survivors bodyblocking and Self-Caring, as the survivor main myth seems to declare all the time, since survivors have bought themselves far more than the 20 seconds spent Self-Caring by bodyblocking.
With my suggested nerfed version of Self-Care (25% healing speed), that would be 40 seconds off of gens, and would be relatively manageable for the killer.Yes, people do genrush through being injured. The fact that I do it on a fairly regular basis, disproves your general statement that nobody does it. That's the thing about anecdotal evidence - it's anecdotal, and doesn't necessarily or definitively prove anything.
I don't recall stating or arguing that Self-Care was a crutch perk. I could be wrong, but if memory serves, that's not a point that I was defending. However, since you've brought it up, I'll address that.
Self-Care is only a crutch if your gameplay relies on it. As you said later in your post, you don't rely on it since running it or not running it has no noticeable effect on the outcome of your matches, so it's not a crutch for you. I applaud you for having a degree of skill that most survivor players don't have, if what you said about your Self-Care usage is true.
However, Hex: Ruin, BBQ & Chili, and A Nurse's Calling are not comparable to Self-Care. I have yet to see anyone on this thread name a single effective counter to Self-Care that doesn't involve throwing the match. However, I can tell you that Hex: Ruin is 100% useless against survivors who have the half a brain necessary to be able to hit great skill checks, and can also be countered by unskilled survivors by breaking the totem. I can tell you that BBQ & Chili can be easily countered by either misdirection when far from the hook, or just by existing close to it. A Nurse's Calling has a few more of the hallmarks of being a crutch, in that it does something for a killer that they could do by using their eyes and ears. Well, not their ears, since audio occlusion is not functioning properly at the moment. But it also has a simple and effective counter - not healing near the killer.
You can't talk about Ruin needing/not needing a buff then in the same breath say that the hex system (upon which Hex: Ruin is based) needing a rework is irrelevant to the subject of Hex: Ruin. It's very contradictory, and only disproves your point.
Also, just because a perk is meta and does/doesn't need a buff on one side, does not mean that the meta perks on the other side do/don't need buffs. As I've said already, if the game were 100% balanced (which is isn't), that may be the case. However, the game is not 100% balanced, so your argument holds no weight.
While I would agree that BBQ & Chili doesn't need a nerf or buff (since even when it doesn't reveal survivors' auras, it still helps the killer make the informed choice on the decision whether or not to camp), and that A Nurse's Calling is in a decent place since it's pretty much a crutch that wastes the perk slot of someone with eyes for not much gain, I would definitely say that Hex: Ruin needs a buff.
The reason that these perks are meta and effective at high ranks for killers, is because most high-ranked survivors are quite bad at the game. I've already explained the simple, easy, and effective counters to each of these perks, but that doesn't mean that the majority of high-ranked survivors will use them. I speak in the context of theoretical effectiveness when things are used to their greatest potential. The difference between Self-Care and the high-rank killer meta, is that the high-rank killer meta is easily counterable to the point of being a joke, whereas the high-rank survivor meta offers no counterplay if used effectively. What you seem to be missing here about survivor perks vs killer perks, is that killers have 4 perks, whereas survivors have a collective 16 perks. Meaning that, for a killer perk to be balanced, it has to be 4x as strong as a survivor perk. Theoretically, a survivor's strongest balanced perk should be 1/4 as effective as a balanced killer perk. Most killer perks aren't even as effective as a single powerful survivor perk, which just goes to show you how pathetically weak killer perks are. Every meta killer perk is easily, simply, and effectively countered by basic survivor game mechanics, to the point where survivors don't even need a perk to counter every one of the killer's perks with minimal effort.
So, that you'd say 'Can't survivors have a single perk that IS powerful' just shows your entitlement, lack of interest in keeping the game balanced, and lack of knowledge about game balance. Survivors are not supposed to be the power role. They're not even supposed to be mechanically powerful (even though they are), so why should they have powerful perks (by your contextual definition of 'powerful perks', which are 'perks that can single-handedly make the match a nightmare for the killer and remove any risk/threat/challenge from the match for a survivor' (since those are the survivor perks that have been on the chopping block as of late (exhaustion perks, DS, Self-Care, Borrowed Time, etc)))? They shouldn't. And if you've read this far through my post, you'll understand that that's because of basic theoretical game balance, not because of a desire to make killers 'overpowered'.'Everything you have as survivors is being picked at bit by bit'? Last I recall, stealth is a survivor's most effective tool, and the devs have buffed perks like Urban Evasion, and Whispers is on the chopping block, to make stealth more effective. The most effective tool survivors have isn't being picked at bit by bit, so I don't know where you'd be under the impression that everything you have is being picked at, because it clearly isn't.
"The survivor was not found while healing for roughly 40s~(?), and yet you say they don't deserve the heal? Why not? You failed to find them even though they are grunting, blood pools, foot steps, grass noises, footstep noises... you still failed. Or even if you lost the chase, they obviously deserve to go on and heal."
First off, a heal is never deserved. To think otherwise is purely and simply entitlement.
Secondly, it's 20 seconds, not 40 seconds.
Third, the groaning/footsteps/grass noises are irrelevant since audio occlusion is bugged and the killer can't hear any of that unless they have direct line of sight on a survivor (in which case those things were all irrelevant (yes, you can hear them while playing survivor, but if you've played any killer at all recently (which it would seem that you haven't), you'll know that those sounds don't exist when playing killer)), and the blood trails can be mitigated by using that same grass to cover them up.
Fourth, my argument had to deal with the increased efficiency of overall healing when multiple survivors simultaneously use Self-Care, which this part of your response has nothing to do with. You're using a strawman and deflecting to a point that I wasn't defending.
And on top of that, all of this is nothing but your opinion backed by nothing but your experiences. You're not even attempting to think of game balance in any sense but how you see it to be now."And healing is not even a problem to begin with considering over half of the killer options, perks and powers included, OFFER INSTA DOWNS. But hey, healing is the main problem, right? Not the length of gens, length of chases due to loops, but it's the most basic mechanic in the game, right?"
All of these insta-downs come with their respective counters and drawbacks. Hex: Devour Hope is a totem perk, so the totem can be broken, or the survivor in question being unhooked can be unhooked before the killer left the area of the hook, and the killer won't gain a token. Hex: NoED is easily countered by breaking all the unlit totems across the map. The new Hex perk is countered by not breaking either of the two lit totems of it. Myers' EWt3 insta-down comes with a lengthy charge time during which he is completely ineffective and non-threatening, also coming with the drawback of being Myers and not having any tools to counter looping in his kit. Leatherface also comes with the same drawback. The Hillbilly's insta-down is also limited by charge time, and is on the devs' nerf chopping block.
I didn't say that anything in particular was the main problem of the game. Those other things are some honourable mentions, but we're talking about Self-Care here, and I'd appreciate it if you kept your replies on-topic, and the topic is Self-Care.
I'll repeat it once more; Self-Care is broken, and you or anyone else still has yet to prove otherwise.
I completely agree, but once again the dbd devs are listening to toxic survivor mains.
So it isn't going to get nerfed anytime soon sadly. -
I don't even think they made the physics themselves.
I think they just used the unreal engine 3/4 preset for physics. -
So you want the killer to look at you dying for 120 seconds, just because you feel like you shouldn't have died?
You actually should instantly die when being the last survivor.
And that without going through all the stages which serves no reason anyway. -
you whine about survivors not being as overpowered as they used to be?
you kidding, right? you still can gen rush a killer to hell, if you are a medicore survivor.you played 25 games on rank 20, so what? you expect rank 20s to know all the exploits and loops?
play on rank 1 then come here again. tip: you will come here again to complain about survivors. -
@HookedonDemand said:
The whole gen rushing thing confuses me. Isn't finishing the gens literally the only thing survivors need to do to escape ? Why would they wait, to take in the scenery ? It's like complaining that the killer starts killing right away...
We don't criticise survivors doing gens, we criticise the power of 4 survivors doing 5 gens under 3-4 minutes making the game end way too soon.
Bad killers like every single killer not being hillbilly or nurse are forced to use perks like NOED and Ruin (even those 2 need em) in order to even stand a chance against good survivors.
This shouldnt be the case. NEVER.It's unfun to play killer on low ranks, because gens are going crazy and there is literally nothing you can do about it.
It's the devs incompetence, not the competence of survivors. -

In the last Q&A session from the devs, they kept on forcing the idea of "we want our players to have fun, that is why we do this and that". From here, my questions are: "How "fun" do they think is it to play against a good nurse?", "How "fun" is it to play against a good nurse with more than 2 blinks?", "How "fun" is it to play against a huntress with one shot hatchets?". Explain the "fun" part to me, please, I might be missing something. They keep on talking about how they do not want killers to be too strong, while having this piece of junk aka Nurse in the game. Explain to me your logic, or else, I will not buy these pointless words of "We want you to have fun". I would rather have a rework on Nurse rather than on Wraith or Freddy. Not even a single word has been dropped out of their mouth about the Nurse changes. Do they actually think that everything is fine and "we better work on Freddy next". How many posts did they read about "Nurse is broken" compared to "Please buff Freddy"? I do not want to assume anything in here, but the answer, for me, is pretty obvious.Explain me how it is fun to get dominated as killer with not being able to do anything.
This is worse than loosing against a skillfull nurse. -

I am an avid DBD player and absolutely love the game. But it is very annoying when i get downed and have a very slim chance of escaping because there are too many damn hooks around the map.The offerings are random so it could only erase a hook thats nearby another 40 hooks.
Not everyone has saboteur and can communicate within game to get rid of hooks.
The damn wiggle time is too hard, we already have Iron Grasp to make it impossible, it doesn't have to be nearly impossible without it.
Wiggle is there to make it impossible that the killer can always carry you to the basement.
It is not meant to be an escape tool and actually the bodyblocking thing gives you a guaranteed escape (devs realized that too late sadly)Iron grasp is there to make it impossible for you to escape at all. I'm not saying completely nerf it but at least despawn maybe 1 or 2 less hooks? They always spawn way too close and we might as well let killers automatically have iron grasp
And sometimes there aren't any hooks near.

Also why didn't you have a problem with shirtless David? Isn't that sexual objectification based on your terms? Such hypocrisy.Have you read my post? I said there were people who said she was sexy. It's a problem in itself that there are people like that. Just because you don't see it like that doesn't mean no matter with it.
I read your post and yet I see no issue. And who cares if they find her sexy? What's it to you any way? It's their opinion and their minds. Why should the developers listen to you just because you have an issue with something that is subjective in nature? Also is it a problem if I find a girl on the beach sexy? What do you want me to do? Just throw out my sexuality? Or are you gonna just try and censor that girl like she's a forbidden fruit? Just because you see it as a problem doesn't it is a problem.
Btw you didn't answer my question as to why you didn't have a problem with shirtless David yet.
No, you didn't read my post properly. If you read it correctly, you wouldn't ask a question about David. And is it a problem to look sexy on the beach? Of course. I think you're the one who doesn't think it's a problem. Do you really think it's not a problem to see her sexy with a dead body? Just because opinions and minds are freedom of speech does not mean that you can say anything. And I'm not forcing you to change as I said. They need to figure out the problem with this character. The problem is that they don't realize it.
######### are you saying.
Should we wear burqas on the beach, or what? Sounds like a religion, haha.I don't feel anything for the spirit, maybe because I am not into women that much, I can't vouch for everyone else.
What are you talking about? Do you think women dress that way to make them look good to you? They want to wear it that way. Not because I want to be your eye food. I can't believe what you said. Do women have to dress that way on the beach because of your eyes? You're not interested in women and you talk so easily. Don't go anywhere and say such a shocking thing, it's awful. There's no guarantee that you don't feel anything about spirit, even for others. I've already seen a bunch of guys who say she's sexy.
So if the spirit likes it that way, why do you judge the devs to dress her like that?
Your logic is flawed.I never said I liked her clothes. I never said I liked everything about her. Get it straight.
I never implied you like her.

It's only sexual if you make it sexual. I don't see any sexual objectification because I think with the head on my shoulders and not the one in my pants. Oh and you don't mind the idea of killing people and yet as soon as some skin shows you magically have a problem? I guess your priorities are in need of a checkup.
Your logic is flawed. -

The new killer is definetely not trash, but she's weak. Her power is easy to counter + her basic speed is slow. It's like the pig with only the crouch attack.
And 20s cooldown, and disability to see the survivors, and loooon charge time, and 110% speed...
Corrected that.
-
The new killer is not trash, but she's extremely weak. Her power is easy to counter, she can only use it every ~25 seconds, her base speed is reduced for some reason and you can still hear her in invisibilty.
The fact, the killer can't see a survivor while in m2 or their blood and only their scratch marks which appear at a 3 second delay makes her low tier on low ranks.
You can mindgame the ######### outta her. It's like the pig with only the crouch attack.
-
I am laughing right now.
Body blocking was never an issue for me.
I just hit them and continue hooking the person, I have on my shoulders.
I know the timings and if they could wiggle off, I let them live their live as slug.
I then hunt down the players trying to save the slug and camp their ass off, because overaltruistic body blockers will definitely come to save their friends. The only issue with this is, because of self care, getting hit isn't a real punishment anymore, it's a 20-30 second heal and that's it.
-
I am a killer main, but I play survivor regularly.
Camping on rank 1 against good players when not playing nurse or hillbilly is definitely forced.
I had good games around rank 1, without camping, but in the most cases, I verse hardcore tryhards pallet looping until 2-3 gens are left, they then are my bait for other survivors to waste their time, in other words, I proxy camp / hard camp their ass off (yes, i do tunnel).Usually I get 3-4 kills (hatch was never a good idea).
But whenever I verse really good swf survivors, I don't stand a chance as they just resuming to do a gen and when I leave, they come to save. I can't mindgame then, I am screwed then. This game is just pure cancer for experienced killers who don't want to run around a structure minutes over minutes.
Camping wouldn't be a thing if survivors weren't overpowered.
It wouldn't make sense then, but people like Ochido don't get that, saying killers are balanced but then complaining about campers.Alltogether, when you complain about camping, you can't say killers are the power role as camping only exists, because survivors can waste so much of the killers time.
Until the game is fixed, camping and tunneling will remain and yeah, it's not a bad thing, same goes for pallet looping.
It's just not fun... -

I swear to god, you again proved, you don't know anything about your own game.Nerfing bloodlust, a mechanic which is already weak as [BAD WORD] and only exists to counter a broken gameplay style is utterly stupid.
Just rework the stupid map design and give the killer more opportunities to mindgame. (Fix the goddamn nearly infinites)The new killer is a complete wrack, she can't do ######### without seeing the survivor.
You can't rely on 3 second delayed scratchmarks without blood or anything.
To top that, you are slow like a hag.
Like if you wanted to make wraith viable, but create a new second worst killer. But ADDING a perk which gets you off a hook for 100% and fixing the dstrike bug without NERFING dstrike, the most overpowered perk in the game, I mean #########.
You basically beg us to facecamp everyone we get on a hook.
Atleast the new map is cool, even tho you accidently left one of your editor tools in the map, omegalul.
But you still need to unhook someone before you get hooked yourself. So it's 2nd chance if you manage to do that
Because unhooking isn't a 3 second thing and in a SWF you can't communicate whose turn now it is to unhook.
It's nearly the same as: You need to hit a skill check for Decisive Strike
-
The lobby system in general sucks and needs a rework.
But punishing killers is the wrong way if you want to even FIND a lobby. -
@Kovrik said:

Surv need more chances. Calm down man. LMAO
Like they don't have enough second chance perks like Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Sprint Burst, Dead Hard, Lithe, Balanced Landing, Unbreakable.
Nah, that's just not enough, let's get off a hook without any teamwork too!Where are the killer alternatives for second chance perks?
There currently is only NOED. Which can be completely annulated.I guess you are being sarcastic.
-
You can complain about both things.
-
If he plays a weak killer and gets a map not in his favor, he won't stand a chance againt a "good" swf with voice comm. (survivors usually use offerings for maps, so you most likely don't get "The Game")
He explains how to player killer well, I know all the strats, because I use it myself.
But he explained the flashlight issue and the gen rushing issue completely wrong (subjective).
Flashlights were overpowered as hell before the pickup speed change, especially for killers like Huntress or Hag. You basically couldn't do much against 1-3 skilled players wanting to save their mate.
You won't have major issues with Hillbilly or Nurse with flashlights of course, but with every other (not viable high mobility) killer, you'll have a lot issues.
Survivors don't die in a wall normally in SWF, so this is not even an option. (They most likely have DS, so if the flashlights save fails, they still get a free escape)
You can waste a perk slot or accept the free rescue. (Flashlight saves while picking up and not being able to move yet are seeming to be a network issue anyway, like freezing on objects before being able to use them.
So basically if timed perfectly, you can't even do ######### against it.)Gen rushing is no survivor spawn issues or a bad map pressure issue.
It's there because the gen timer is a constant value not affected by how many players are alive.
If you don't play an fast downing or teleporting killer, you don't stand a chance against gen rushing.Basically you have to down and hook a survivor before 1-2 gens are popped to even stand a chance against good survivors.
If the map is not in your favor, you are screwed when there is no possibility for a 3 gen strat in nearly every way.I still manage to get 3-4k nearly every game as killer.
Even with extremely bad killers.
But whenever I get a skilled SWF, the game shows me how powerless I really am, when not playing top tier killers. But I don't like the high tier killers, I prefer mid-low tier killers like the pig, the wraith, the shape etc.
For me the game is no fun getting gen rushed by a 4 swf with flashlights and dstrike while not being able to counter play.He represented these 2 things completely wrong in my opinion. So I assumed he isn't good at killing.

No, you do things that don't allow them to use the flashlights. You pick up facing away from them or face a wall. You bait pick ups. You slug, et al.
well yeah with the new update since all the killers whined about flashlight saves being op they made it to where you have to start blinding at 1 sec instead of 2 so you have to be right next to the killer when he pick up to flashlight save
It was easy to counter flashlights before the updated pick up animation. People just thought it was easier to moan instead of getting better and doing something different.

Thats the survivors way of life. Why git gud when you can instead complain, project power, review bomb and get what you want anyway without any practising
its also the killers. why do you think they changed it in the first place?
What are you talking about?
You think the killer problems are a git gud issue? Take a look at the official tournament games where a non-nurse killer has been playedFull of bullshit.
This guy in the video doesn't even know how to properly play killer.
He acts like he never versed a team, where all you can do, is loose. -
If someone teabags me, I always facecamp them, no matter what.
You have to be respectful if you want to play a game with me, otherwise I am not too. -
You should have limited sight as survivor (Update the frking fog) and the heartbeat should be quieter, then there will be fear.
-
The whole idea of the hatch is a joke, you played bad => free escape.
Most people if smart just get the hatch with no counter play for the killer. (RIP 2500 points for 4k) -

It could be all kinds of challenges in a row.
Getting a 4K with a 5-T H: DH would be like challenge #3.
And you'd have to do like 7 different challenges to then unlock it.If that happens the reward should be depending on what rank you are on.
But this ain't gonna happen. I have a feeling for it, there never will be any challenges like this. -
This maybe works on idiots, but most killers dodge 4 swf or 4x flashlights.

That last part is subjective, i like the looks of both cosmetics.
As for how difficult it is to get to 50 & 90, it's not.
Neither is difficult, but Survivor is simply more tedious. If you want difficult-to-gain rewards, request the devs to make challenges like:
Survive after being hooked once while running No Mither.
or
Kill all 4 Survivors using the 5-Token bonus on Hex: Devour Hope. This would be great actually, but then the perk would have to be unlocked for the event time for every killer.
-
they wont even include something like this, trust me. It wouldnt make sense either

Becuase from what I've heard and seen.T bagging, looping, juking attacks during a chase.
There must be more, but these right here cannot be all there is. Because this just sounds like Killer anger issues to me.
- T bagging: Accepted
- Looping: I would not count that as "toxic" because you just want to use the pallet effectively so why wasting it?!
- Juking attacks during a chase: Man, why should that be "toxic" you just try to avoid getting hit and especially if you are half life you try your last chance to avoid from getting downed.
But there is one more thing you could add to your list, clicking with your flashlight at the killer to get his attention or just doing it in a active chase.
This is stupid if killers are getting mad at this. And if they feel like camping because of it, then they saying you made me mad so I'm justifide. Well at least when I start maining killer, I can say I'm better then them campers.
You'll learn better soon, son.
If people have dstrike, t-bag or click with their flashlights at me, I will definitely camp them.
If survivors are rushing gens like crazy, I still camp and tunnel like crazy in order to still win the round. Most of the time camping survivors is the easiest and safest way to win the game.
Especially on low ranks where survivors can loop you for minutes with no counter play to it. -

Buff killers to be viable, stop looping and exploiting map mistakes and then we can talk about camping which is only a problem because killers are weak.looping IS REQUIRED TO SURVIVE if you respect pallets to not give us our 1000 points for stun then your stupid to not try and swing through a pallet and hit us as you get stunned i mean its broken that you guys can do this
Camping IS REQUIRED for the killer TO WIN if you respect campers and still go for the unhook, then your stupid.
I mean its stupid you guys can run in a circle and this for multiple minutes (if you know the map well and are skilled, which most survivors most likely including you are not) with almost no counter play to it. -
True

I agree the nerf is bullshit, it is already extremely weak as it wastes your times when trying to use it on someone.
-
I think flashlights should get reworked to actually challenge the killer.
Like you cant look down or up to avoid flashlights, you have to look in the opposite direction etc.
