@DarkWo1f997 Funny you tag @fcc2014 but you didn’t have the balls to tag @Lowbei and he found it himself , if we’re gonna talk about someone at least tag them in it so they can see it and defend themselves, or resolve the situation peacefully if need be .DarkWo1f997 said:@fcc2014 I don’t have any issues with anyone except for Lowbei. He’s been nothing but repulsive towards me. What is that anyways? Is Lowbei the pronunciation of “Logang” while licking a glass window? Whatever. Anyways, I just don’t understand why everyone is escalating the situation instead of defusing it. That’s all I’m saying.
Its great you were all unbanned. This game needs more players. -
Some get lower ranked friends to send the invites so they never really face a rank one killer unless they solo que and then the whole team gets ######### because of one guy, that’s one thing I can say where the survivors do have the disadvantage severely is the reliance on team play because you can be betrayed in a heartbeat or put in a near impossible scenario if one or two dc right after the match starts bc they don’t like the map
-
I play better solo than with friends because I won’t leave a buddy behind even if I die trying , but to me that’s what it’s all about is having fun even if you die in some hilarious manner, when I play swf I’m not all sweaty try hard I’m asking my friends how they’ve been doing and just shooting the sh!t with everyone, but in solo I’m almost like a lone ninja and I trust no one while adjusting my perks for self satisfaction more than my team because they will betray you in a heartbeat and not think twice , and you actually have to take in the sounds of the game while playing instead of distractions, they say swf with ds and flashlights are deathsquads but the real problem is when you get randoms who are all doing it because they are100% focused to the game and not at all conversing

I have caught many players with Nurses calling, Sloppy Butcher, Thanatophobia together. You have every right to differ, but it's still the best on killers like Freddy, Nurse, and even Trapper with his ultra-rare addon. The one perk that is carrying your build is Nurse Calling. Sloppy Butcher and Thanatophobia are worthless. Hell, even Coulthrophobia is worthless in it´s current state, because no red rank survivor would heal inside the terror radius of the killer. Because Nurse Calling exists.
I disagree coulrophobia is a strong perk and with your logic you just used it’s like saying nurses calling is worthless too because survivors know that you can’t heal in the terror radius , everything has a counter people try to act like killers should have zero counters and should be able to eat every pallet in the map without slowing down even a little and that’s fine with them as long as we keep trying to invent bullshit ways to get kills even though majority of us don’t have a problem doing so NC isn´t worthless, because killers get a glimpse of healing survivors, once they come into range. Survivors usually stop healing once they hear the heartbeat. Coulrophobia only works inside the terror radius, and even gives the survivors a nice warning sign that they are in range. The warning sign appears before survivors can hear the audible heartbeat.
I guess that’s all on how you use it because I couple those perks together anytime I run nurses calling for maximum effect
So survivors keep healing while being in your heartbeat?
On what rank do you play?
Well I’m at 6 now and no they don’t keep healing that’s not what I’m saying lol I’m saying it’s effective by not letting them fully heal because chances are you can get in range to get a glimpse and force them to keep trying to move to finish healing
You are gimping your own build with Sloppy Butcher. Survivors get a notification before they hear the heartbeat. You´ll miss more survivors if you take Sloppy Butcher.

Looping is an intended feature or there wouldn’t be any at all and the devs have said before camping is legit, what I’m tired of is these ######### killer mains trying to invent new things to make them not suck when majority of us don’t have a problem, enough is enough guys we need to make a thread and tag the devs in it and find out when these poor guys are getting survivor bots they can set status effects on right from the start, we need to make a stand so they will quit crying on the forums though I believe it may be impossibleVietfox said:Camping might be annoying, but that's it.

Lol right? Again, people like Truetalent who's probably the best killer in the community will also not commit to these loops.
Well if you don’t want to do what it takes to win then suck it up and wait until they give you survivor bots and options for them to start injured or how many pallets you want to be gone from the start and you can play however you want safely without having to sacrifice an ounce of brain matter Typical survivor main fallacy. Ya ur way better than me since u love being mediocre and dependant on mistakes that others make, what great logic.
Here's a fact for you: Survivors should ALWAYS feel afraid of getting downed, there should not be places where they can AT LEAST loop you for 40+secs no matter how bad they are. I don't care if it's fun for them, this is a discussion about balance, fun should be secondary.
Again this comes back to you just being plain terrible at the game
I'm terrible at the game for not wanting safe-spaces in a game where a killer is supposed to kill people.
Where's your credibility? Again, people like truetalent who are way better than you or me also do not commit to these places, hence these places should not exist. They are mostly there because devs know it's bad for survivors to ALWAYS feel pressured and would make the game less popular since nobody enjoys being stressed out but why as a killer would I care about that?
Want your safespace where a killer cannot hurt you? Turn off the game

Working with the killer will get you banned and it should stay that wayBACKSTABBER said:there are thousands of new ideas but I doubt devs will look at them, although they took my perk name (probably) from one of the suggestions in the other steam forum "RANCOR"
My suggestion is perks that you befriend the killer getting exp from telling where your teammates, stealing their equiped items and cancelling unhooking.
A game mode I would like is one of the survs (only visible to the killer) is the betrayer that cannot receive damage until being the last surv. Meanwhile he is meant to help the killer.

If I were to DC from a map due to pallets then I'd have to DC every time. I never DC tho since that would mean losing 3 pips and getting no blood points. I'd rather lose one pip and get Bloodpoints
There's some maps that are basically unplayable, if I can't get 3+k then I won't bother with it. Haddonfield is way to hard for killers for example with multiple levels to hide from.
This is the problem right here “if I can’t get a 3+k then I won’t bother with it” , so you don’t want a challenge is basically what you’re saying? You immediately quit when any sign of failure might happen, this is why we need survivor bots and participation trophies for these people, this is proof you want to win everytime and have no opposition, killers can’t stand that there is a way to counter everything on both sides and the only ones having this problem are ones who never change their perk load outs and think they can do whatever and still win
The problem is gamers these days who have 0 sense of entitlement. "oh yes it's bad but I'm just still gonna put up with it". Let's just ignore that we paid for a faulty product. For some reason this line of thinking is only acceptable in the game-programming world. Imagine this type of nihilism with stuff like Spacetravel. "oh it's a big design flaw, we know it but yeah, we just occasionally lose a few people".
The fact that those are KNOWN issues for years makes me wonder what the heck is wrong with ppl these days who don't want to fix things.
And no, there's no counter to certain loops, the killershack yes, it can be countered with bamboozle or a mindgame but things like the storehouse are impossible to mess up as a survivor.
-
No I wouldn’t , I know it sucks but you still have a chance at escaping and some killers will just farm anyway when that happensEveline said:So am I? -

Non viable? I main as the spirit now and I have yet to get under a 2k , I think it’s dependent on how you play really, I used the trapper before but the spirit seems a lot more comfortable for me playing and yes I play at the high ranks and do just fine if not better with her than I did the trapper or MyersDeadByFlashlight said:@Rex_Huin said:

You see, with "Terror Shock" killers could just lunge to get one hit downs which when coupled with peer to peer lag is just awful. Meanwhile letting killers punish people who get too close is fine with me as a grab requires timing and finesse.
I hope you can see my perspective. By the way, Freddy, if you're so hungry for instant-downs might I suggest No One Escapes Death, Make Your Choice, or Devour Hope?

Survs cry because killers pick the only viable ones, yet they don't want the other killers to be buffed.
2 - i get pretty good results with the hag or the huntress on high ranks.
The other option should be you learning how to play with other killers.
Btw, in case you forgot you can have an "instadown" by grabbing a survivor when doing a gen.
Giving free exposed status would make pointless to run other killers, like Myers. So your reason of encouraging other people to use other killers is just wrong.
Indeed. If bots are able to stop this kind of threads then i'm gonna be the first one to support it. -

There are plenty of ways to combat looping already, why should you get a BS one shot down when there are already enough resources as killer to do that? It’s not like this is a epidemic I mean the game is balanced I was rank one on both sides last season people just need to learn to adjust to new circumstances and learn to switch up perk builds to your benefit instead of the same build everytime and then crying when someone counters it, there is a counter to everything in this game and some people can’t handle that, you can say “ we’ll try this “ and someone will pop up saying “ it’s op because you can counter it with this so it’s not effective” all bullshit .....and the drawback to looping is you risk being downed by the killer and being left on the hook by your team or exposing your team if they have BBQ, also you’re only gaining chase points and not the rest of the points you really need in game.MhhBurgers said:While Identity V is still a mess in terms of survivors being overpowered as hell there, the Terrorshock idea is quite good.
To people who don't know what Terrorshock does, when ur working on a gen or vaulting a window or healing another survivor you instantly go down if the killer hits you
I think looping should have it's drawbacks and this would finally introduce real ones.
Terrorshock could be exclusive to weaker killers to make it more balanced, make it part of their passive kit (freddy, pig, trapper, wraith, spirit, doc. This way you would give them a way to combat loops if survivors do them poorly.

Only noobs cry about camping on here along with the same bunch that cry about looping survivors, the game is balanced for the most part but people just don’t want to admit it or change their play style at all they think they should be able to do what they want and still always win. I’m gonna laugh my ass off when the new game modes getting released turn out to be bot survivors and killers for all the cry babiesDarkWo1f997 said:
I mean I’m referring to the escape phase, and where did I say I know more than everyone else? You assume the worst in my intentions. There’s a lot of crying on the forums about camping and all I’m trying to do is show that there are ways to combat it but it all comes down to wit.OXY said:
You've barely had this game a month and you're acting lile you're an expert. Just stop lmao. Tunneling does exist and doing your method wastes time for everybody.DarkWo1f997 said:Tunneling doesn’t exist. If you can’t lose the killer than that’s your fault. If your team doesn’t mosquito the killer, that’s on your team. It’s not hard at all. There’s four of you and you are ridiculously strong when together.
The best counter is for the Survivors to continue doing gens if someone is being camped. Sucks for the guy on the hook but it also sucks for the Killer, as it will be an easy win/pip for the three survivors
I dont know how this survivor empowerment started, I don’t understand the logic of it. I just want people to actually try new things before crying on here.
If killers get as much as one more nerf, it’s going to be really bad for the entire community.
I get that you have your reasons for disagreeing, but a lot of people flat out give up because a killer is close to the hook, and it’s like if you’re not even going to try anything then why come to the forums and declare it an issue?
Its happening too too often for it to be ignored. A good majority of the community truly believes that there isn’t a way around it. Playing survivor is a gamble on living, not a guarantee.

What you encountered here was the rank 20 tutorial glitch on PS4 which is now fixed so you shouldn’t see a lobby like that againHellDescent said:And people will keep doing this until devs will fix the matchmaking

-
I really think that’s a pc specific bug because on PS4 we tested that in KYF with three different purple flashlights just to see if a few separate builds would cause a instablind but it had the normal timing or what felt similar to blinding the hagTheDarkLycan said:@NextKillerSpongebob said:
The whole killer's weakness is intentional xDso spirit getting instablind by any flashlight was intentional?

I love how op tried to make it sound like it constantly happens but denies camping lol if you didn’t camp you might not even noticeblue4zion said:It's very unfair to be hit again before you can even move. Wonderful change. Adapt.

It’s more than likely editing as you say, why would a survivor have a splinter in the first place? They can’t convince me it’s true with all my hours I’ve never once seen that happenVietfox said:

You got salty because i couldn't trust an edited video? You could have replied nicely and try to provide more information but instead u got mad. Looks like u are the one who needs to get a life.
Oh sorry I didn't mean to offend. Meant it dismissively like who would actually take the time todo that. I just cut out a 30sec loadscreen. It's a known bug on console since forever. Would be alot of editting to get the same survivors in lobby/in game/post game with a splinter. Just seems ridiculous to me is all.
Could be easily staged with KYF
Rofl ok you're a loser
If u had shown the last 7 or 6 seconds of the lobby we would know for sure it wasn't KYF, but it's not there... -

I think you got reported or soft banned for dc and then poorly put together this videoNo bans on console mate
There are if you breach sony's code of conduct
Sony doesnt take action for stuff happening ingame, thats BVHR responsibility
They do if you breach a code of conduct you will be banned(harassment, hate of speech etc.)
Excuse me, did ANYONE ever got banned in DBD?
Harassment and hate speech is literally part of the game. I am quite sure that some fellow killer mains on console can literally deliver you books of harassment via the psn messenger

Clicking dc with that strategy when you can’t even find them already apparently ? Bhahahaha yea right more like the killer dc back to a rank where that’s gonna workBoss said:@DeadByFlashlight said:

@lyric Is right. Just run deer stalker if that is what you need to keep track of survivors. It does not sound like a game issue that sound like a player who chose the wrong perk for their playstyle issue.I dont want to hear any survivors to complain about bleeding out then.
Fine, thread can be closed

They probably won't complain, they're too busy clicking the DC button.

Or you could just run deerstalker and not have the problemDeadByFlashlight said:It is no fun at all if you cant find the survivors on the floor anymore and have to let them bleed out.
Usually survivors agree with me that bleeding out is really boring. So can we just built in deerstalker?

Yea, prepare to dodgeOrion said:@Vietfox said:
I dont care because i set my loadout (as a survivor and as a killer) before creating the lobby and press ready as soon as i get there. Stop being afraid of survivors loadouts and enjoy the game. It's not about fear, it's about preparation. That time is supposed to be for the Killer to prepare for any items and perks the Survivors might bring. Instead, it's being exploited by Survivors to disadvantage the Killer.

The pallets are a little bugged but the flashlights definitely still work on PS4HuN7r3sS said:I play on Ps4 and I don't know if anyone else encounters this but once a survivor is downed by a pallet and the killer picks them up. I'm in perfect position to pallet slam and I do just that, turns out I only shifted the killer back a bit as he continues his/her walk to the hook. Now same exact scenario but this time I use a flashlight on the killer and get points for stunning, but regardless of that he's still got the survivor over his shoulder and goes over to hook. Explain to me what in the new chapter patch made stuns non existent? -
Noed gets cancelled if you cleanse the totems that’s the way to counter itChesterTheMolester said:Hmm thats interesting. As for my my opinion not trying to get a bunch of hate after this but I feel as if the killers are not as powerful as some may hope because they have to balance survivors around the strongest killer with the strongest add ons in order to have a chance to survive even in that situation, now that being said if they would nerf the strongest killer slightly and nerf survivors along with that , you could find a solid balance that works and allows all killers to be viable instead of constant Billy and nurse or having to rework every killer to buff them to this level , nobody will ever be satisfied with the results though , even if they have killers every buff you could specifically hand pick you would have a group still complaining and the same with survivors, just an opinion though.I don't disagree with you here. For some reason Billy is the only killer the Devs care about. He's the only one that seems to be immune to the ban hammer and I don't get it. He's the fastest killer in the game with an instant-down mechanic. Him and The Nurse are, honestly, too much. At least The Nurse has a high learning curve though. I've said since I started playing this game that Billy needs to be brought down a peg or two. He's why certain salty and toxic survivors hate BBQ and Chili. In any other killer's hands the perk is moderately useful at best. In his hands you can get a down before the survivor even knows you're coming for them. Which is insane. But BHVR is just fine with it.
Can the Spirit see blood stains while she's phased though? Oh no, that'd be OP.
