I like the idea , I feel like there aren’t enough stealth options as a survivor and when in a chase you’re almost forced to do all the things people complain about if you want to get out of the chase not ending up on a hook, with all the aura reading perks and some of the smaller maps you’re almost guaranteed to see the killer and be chased down at some point , if they want to truly cut down on what some would call toxic gameplay (for the most part, some will always be toxic) they would implement some of these ideas and change things up a bitNickenzie said:Title and no, I'm not talk about pallets in this thread. I’m definitely getting that one as well , black ops 4 actually surprised me with some of the changes made, I just know I’m not spending another dime on this game because all the opinions are biased and they really don’t care at all about us as a player base or community they only answer common sense questions or stupid questions that everyone already knows the answer to and anytime they say they’re gonna do something they flip it around and do something else and then say SOON on what they originally said to us, This is my favorite game of all time I’ve invested thousands of hours and around 140 dollars in it but I think before I invest another 140 more dollars into a game that just listens to all the cry babies and ignores the veteran players, I’ll buy a new game that actually works properly and doesn’t change for new players to immediately feel like they’ve got skill even though they’ve never played itMc_Harty said:@lyric said:

The devs poured a lot of work into this and they are trying to improve the game with each patch and this doesn’t come for free, you all should appreciate a company that’s in touch with the community and puts up hard work to try and please everyone, they’ve spent a lot of money making these things and I have no issue giving some money back to further develop this game and possibly end up with dedicated servers one day.

Skill checks while struggling on the hook won’t become a thing for the very reason I’m saying just watch and see for yourself and just because you want it doesn’t make it the development of the game unless they say it. There are too many times where the frame rates drop even with optimization they’re wanting to input it’s still not as good as pc and they can’t prevent it from happening , I would much rather see skill checks while disarming traps or searching through chests and hitting greater skill checks gives you a chance at a better item or missing checks while disarming injures , I feel those are more appropriate changes until everything works as intendedDeadByFlashlight said:@lyric said:

No I have to disagree with the skill check on phase 2 , we have enough lag problems on console as it is and just tapping the button doesn’t work sometimes if the lag is bad you just die anyway even if you didn’t mess up
You will get more optimization this year, stop preventing development of the game just because of "lag problems"
Skillchecks are clientside and are only affect by bad framerate, not by latency

Can’t believe I’m saying this but @Orion is right , there are plenty of other ways to get points and sabo got a pretty significant buff along with it all, if you feel like healing yourself takes too long run bond instead of self care, remember they can heal you faster than you can heal yourself and if you have time to heal up after a chase then you have time to find a teammateOrion said:@Fishcat said:

It may not be your intention but it turns out being that way and it proves it in the post that got closed where you claimed to feel bad when you stomp the noobs being at rank 10 when you get them instead of competent killers and sure that still happens at 1 every once in a while but it happens a whole lot more below the 4-5 range they just aren’t as serious or don’t really care anyway so the skill will be different than someone who actually wants to win along with less hours in usually, on PS4 the ques are fine even though the frame rate isn’t I can instantly get matches at rank 1 unless it’s late in the evening time with swf, I just don’t agree with supporting a streamer who would derank on their stream and condone it to their viewers when it’s a manipulation that keeps you at a rank you don’t belong for “FUN” , if you can’t see how this could hurt more than help this game I just don’t know what else to say.ScottJund said:@lyric said:

Gen prolonging is a stupid idea that’s not going to get implemented because even the devs have stated staring at a gen that long will drive more players away, more objectives is the right way to go so you are actually doing something other than sitting there, and killers are on even ground for the most part, the only real changes needed are QOL changes for the game at this point to balance itKeene_Kills said:DS nerf, REAL gen prolonging, SWF separation, etc. There's a laundry list of things that need to be dealt with to put killers on even ground.
