I suspect the same thing, with the devs constantly nerfing the best killers and doing very little to buff the weak killers. Hopefully SWF are excited to admire each other's fresh duds in lobby simulator.
after some time,i legit think people will completely stop playing killer,and survivor queue will take 15-20 minutes lmao

I can dead hard just fine,idk why does everyone else just fail at it :/

I switched from PS4 to PC in the summer. PS4 has always had long survivor queues. When I started with PC survivor queues were instant. Over the past few months they seem to get longer and longer and now killer queues are instant.
i'm pretty sure that killers are just leaving cause of how stressful it is,or cause most killer mains are switching to survivors.That's how i feel personally

Those killers are actually free depending on the edition they bought. Well everyone besides that oni guy lmao. But my fav is wraith. He was my first ever prestiged killer and my first ever p3. Such a fun killer to play as, especially when I'm sick of all the looping
i was 100% he changed to title to free killers,i thought it said favorite killer so i said oni xD

And people like you are part of the reason that there's a shortage of killers as of late. I've had a similar post a while ago, where I was a Rank 7 Survivor with Ranks 3, 19 and 20. Rank 20 had no perks, 19 only had Balanced and they both got me killed. We were versing a Rank 2 Oni.
I'm currently a Rank 12 killer, and I've also recently versed rank 7's and got wrecked on my main. I didn't have my preferred add-ons, but still. That build and game, it wouldn't have mattered much.
If you are eu,that oni was me cause i remember a match like that lmao
-
@Thatbrownmonster said:
I am currently rank 6, and plague is in my top 3 killers, I can easily get 3-4 sacrifices per match
When a dev said plague was the killer with the highest kills per match at high ranks I thought he was joking, now that I learned how to play as her I can guarantee she is indeed one of the strongest killers in the game
Since most survivors on high ranks won't cleanse you can detect easily when they work on gens, where they are when they try to stealth, and you can even tell where they are when slugged
She still needs some improvements regarding the hitboxes of her vomit but other then that she is really strong and I wish more people played with her
survivors staying injured,means they don't cleanse and don't have any other objective except unhooking their teammates so gens are the only thing they can do.Get to rank 1,play against all rank 1 survivors and then see what will you end up with.She is good,IF the survivors are bad but that works with every killer

i feel in green ranks and higher the gens get done way too quickly even with ruin they still manage to get gens done before you can get your first hook, I don’t know if it just me getting matched with SWF every game but I can’t even play killer anymore due to being genrushed every game I usually run pop and ruin but doesn’t seem to help out when you get looped around god windows and loops.
when you get to red ranks,you better be ready for it.Cause there you will need to really know how to juggle survivors efficiently and when to give up a chase or continue a chase.What generator to pop,what not to.How can you 3 gen them,etc.I can tell you when you will probably lose the game.Just cause they did 2,3 gens in ur first chase doesnt matter believe me.what matters imo is how many survivors are left at 1 gen left cause if you have 4 survivors alive then it's impossible to juggle them all.You can barely juggle 3 survivors and keep them from doing the gens IF YOU END chases quickly and switch targets constantly.Ofcourse map design and what killer you are playing is also another factor,you won't be able to pressure gens as well on temple of purgation as well on wreckers' yard cause of the map size

Based on the lore information we have, both the journals and the perk quotes, the entity and the mist favors the killers. They are the ones that satisfy their urges to kill, so it is logical that they are the favoring team. But in the latest situation the lore and the gameplay are opposite; the survivors in the lore are quoted to be scared, in pain and looking for a way out of the hell they are in. From gameplay perspective the survivors are more favored because of their ability to loop and because of certain key aspects of the game that make killers feel bullied (swf,flashlights,keys).
I'm not here to complain,but I ask both the devs and the readers; was the game intended to be survivor sided? Or the idea was more or less hide and seek, with one side having an advantage (killers). Let me know down below.
im pretty sure it was supposed to be a classic hide and seek game,but then people discovered looping and here we are now :3

I have been playing DBD for quite some time now, and I have always loved this game, until now.. I'm a main survivor (solo, red ranks) and I have to say it's a freaking nightmare..
First I have to wait 5-10 minutes to even get into a match, just to be camped, tunneled, slugged and moried, even before I get to earn enough points not to depip.. An average match takes about 3-5 minutes before all survivors are slugged or killed.. It's just not fun anymore. I am sad having to leave the game, because it's always been one of my favorites, but at this point it's just not worth it anymore. I can't see how this game is supposed to be balanced? In every single match, the killer gets 30-40 k points, while my co-players and I have to praise ourselves lucky just to keep our ranks?
I gave up escaping long time ago, usually I am just trying to keep my head above water, and earn the points needed to keep my rank or pip, but could We at least increase blood-points for doing gens, totems, healing ect. to at least make it worthwhile for survivors? Most of the time I find myself thinking "I might as well DC, because I haven't gotten to do sh**" when I am getting tunneled, slugged and moried for God knows which time.. I am not a fan of people dcing, but I can't say I don't understand why they do it.
Something needs to be done, we are not all SWF teams and though they might be OP, we struggle on the solo surv side -.-
you should try civ 5 maybe?Jokes aside,its like that for killer against swf groups.You just watch as they tear you apart and do gens,and as solo when i play i have 3 minute chases and people do 1 gen.They should just buff solo survivors to swf levels in terms of communication and that would be enough probably

This is not about the music of DBD but rather the sounds in general. What are you favourite sounds in this game?
For example, my favourite sound is the when the trapper is picking up traps or vaulting through windows. The noise of the leather is really nice somehow.
Also i love the scream of Dwight when he gets hit, the "ahaiijaa" gets me very time. :D
Kind regards

nah it really isn't,i legit get out of the stun zone completely and it still stuns me(talking about the same thing as the OP,like you cant avoid the stun range unless you really respect the pallet alot.For the pallet saves it is probably latency like you said but its still a bit scuffed.

Playing Ghostface on Haddenfield vs a full 4 man swf.
Got 2 kills and I was chasing an Injured Yui to an Exit Gate, she was running to the exit gate and she turns off to the pallet behind a house so I decided to keep straight to cut her off from the exit.
Somehow... Someway and I mean straight up BS, The Yui drops the pallet..... She drops the plucking pallet that I'm nowhere near...... the game registers it and gives her a stun......... REALLY??? I'm running straight to go around and cut her off and somehow that bs stunned me???
So she makes it to the exit gate and starts to teabag....... Don't teabag when you're in a full swf on Haddenfield and the game literally saves your butt.
That genuinely pissed me off. This game has a huge hitbox problem or should I say, "Latency."
Ridiculous.
i know what you mean.Someone pallet saved against me yesterday,i walked AWAY and wasnt even close to the pallet and got stun.Sometimes when i just try to avoid the stun range it hits me regardless its messed up

For example the good old window juke were you phase through the killer after they vault a window, or phase through a hooked survivor after starting and stopping the unhook animation. Are these not possible anymore or are these just extremely difficult to pull off? I play mainly on ps4 and have seen people in recent videos pull them off, so they couldn't have been patched out. Am i missing something?
maybe you are doing them wrong?Cause window tech you need to time correctly,and same with the hook tech pretty sure i can do em both

Medium vault instead of a fast vault meaning she hung at the window longer than she should've. What's your excuse for not showing it from your perspective? It's almost as if there's a bit of latency between survivor/killer perspectives where the killer gets a hit that should be a hit yet to survivors it shows their reach going further than it should
i don't record games.That shouldn't have hit regardless due to the fact how far he was from the window even though its a medium vault,you don't have to believe me but he was that far through the window i lunged knowing how dedicated servers work xD

...That was actually the claudette's fault there honestly. She stopped the momentum from the fast vault to start moving right leaving her close to the window there
believe me it shouldn't have hit cause he just DID NOT HAVE enough distance it should have hit the window,people should stop trying to find excuses for dumb hits,what would be your excuse for this one?(I was the freddy and the hit didn't look even a bit legit,https://www.twitch.tv/videos/526286246 at 52:16-52:20)

Why you made that you could hit the player on hook and then remove it? More over why the rescue bug its not already fixed. I don't think is normal that two survivors can be on same place at same time. I know it's a game but entity can't change physics laws right?
I wont give any hint about that bug but if you are main killer you will sure found it
its a tech,and if they do it just camp the hooked person,they are hurting their own team by doing it.

Because its the only way to make the game run at playable FPS for people with average computers. Even after meddling with the Dbd configs, it still runs worse than Fallout 4, the newest Tomb Raider, GTA5, and similar ressource demanding games.
I am sorry if I need to take things into my own hands to mitigrate the Developers incomptence.
If the remove the ability to edit the configs, I am gone for sure. I am not playing a Powerpoint presentation.
you know that gives you a bigger advantage over other players right?You legit completely denied mist aka an ingame offering,and you can see killers red stain twice as big in radius.Doesn't that sound kind of like cheating to you?

I'd have to say the worst maps (without talking about size which is a big issue with certain maps like Thompsons) I've seen for killers tend to be the the swamp map with the large house. Haddonfield if people are running balance, if they aren't it's not that bad. I personally despise Gas heaven but that might be just be I just don't see how a map with a very safe building (if you leave as soon as you're in TR), unmindgameable pallets everywhere, and two massive walls that make gen patrolling take forever. I know a good chunk of people hate Ironworks for obvious reasons. Yeah that's about all the maps I can say I see people or myself don't like, I can personally deal with the rest of them and have a good game.
I don't like gas heaven either.Especially if the backdoor is blocked and the other window is open the one on the left.And most pallets are unmindgameable especially if alot of pallets spawn in the middle

@Yamaoka said:

It's not an issue with the dedicated servers. I too notice that "rubberband effect" just after a vault (on console with peer to peer and green stable ping connection). In fact I watched a clip of mine yesterday and checked a vault frame by frame. I think it has something to do with the vault momentum the devs added to the game. With them vault changes they also added a rubberband effect which is particularly noticeable after medium vaults.
i think thats why medium vaults are that unsafe now tbh cause of that effect
-
@twistedmonkey said:
It's probably to do with where the killer sees you on screen with the lag.
When a killer goes for a hit and the hit boxes collide the game calculates it and due to animations probably pulls you back so it looks like it should have hit rather than it be too far away (this can still happen also)
It doesn't matter your personal ping as the killers one dictates when a hit will happen as they have the priority.
you gotta admit tho,its still dumb that it looks and works like that.You should make it but no,game decides to suck you back and there goes a hit :3
-
@AhoyWolf said:

Nope that's just a regular lunge that barely connected. Sometimes those will hit sometimes they won't, its not dependent on your skill as the killer or on looking upwards.
so just luck?
-
Jeff,and Nurse.Not cause im bad against the nurse or think she is a good killer to play(i myself just torture myself with playing her)but just to get rid of her dumbass map.Its got that ######### middle building at which you just have to leave survivors
-
@PolarBear said:
One tip I can give is to end the lunge earlier. From my experience, if you end the lunge early, you can hit survivors more often than if you'd just lunge and wait for the game to lunge for you.
sometimes you can squeeze in cheeky hits like that at pallets if someone camps it,you just tap m1 instead of lunging and boom,ez hit :D
-
@Cetren said:
You should definitely try to hide the red drain if you're trying to go for pallet hits. Other than that, the benefit of swinging usually isn't going to be injuring the survivor, but getting the pallet dropped earlier instead.
Keep in mind you need to be unpredictable. If you swing through every pallet, survivors are going to expect it and either drop the pallet to stop the swing or run through so you miss. Most lunge hits that successfully land are going to happen after you've already eaten two or three, and you should never lunge through the first pallet if your goal is to mindgame lunge hits later on in the match.
@supersonic853 said:
I used to use the wraiths speed boost (now is bugged) after uncloaking to catch survivors off guard id go around a corner or something uncloak get the speed boost and turn the corner after hitting r2 it gives wraith like a superlunge that survivors normally arent fast enough to stop.
not in that way,in a way that would maybe give you a slight "on the tip" hit.Sometimes you can get some really bare minimum hits.Not always tho.Im asking is there a way that you should aim specifically while lunging(looking more up for example) to make the hit connect better?(example of the bare minimum hit somehow connecting,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmFfO2puRQo at 6:54 to 6:59 at the t wall)

No not nescessarily i mean the ability to switch tiles around but like blocking off an op window vault by moving it in a lesser position or something along those lines
that sounds really interesting :3
-
@Fitzo said:
ive always thought about a killer who can change map tiles or map altogether. I know this seems extremely stupid and unfair but make the changes random so the killer might end up just as confused as the survivor. Give the killer a 3second swing cooldown so a survivor can have a short period of time to adapt to their surroundings before getting hit. The ability should have at least a one minute cooldown before being able to reuse it. This is nowhere near the full thing im just providing the bones if someone could one day start adding the flesh (balances tweaks etc) it doesnt have to be exactly like this but adding a killer of some sorts who can make environmental changes to the game would be quite interesting to se how he/she would play
U mean like illusionary tiles that are there but for example it would display a jungle gym but would in reality be a t l wall?If i get u right.If its that,that would seem like a really cool power
-
Then you don't face good survivors,plain and simple.Cause if you can play leatherface and beat a 4man swf that is actually decent then idk in what world are you in

Yep and thanks, I've been playing in ps4 for over 2 years now. Signed up just to post this. I knew that killers lost bp, but I think they need to lose more. It kind of forces survivors to use BT and/or DS. I'm not saying this happens in most games, I've just been seeing it more in red ranks lately.
Do you mean endgame or during the game?Cause if its endgame then they just want to secure atleast 1 kill.Otherwise i don't see the reason to camp but i don't do it in endgame either

The loops and countless safe pallets can make this map so strong for survivors. I always see people saying this map is killer sided, but I just don’t see it? I love when I get this map as survivor, as I know I can take advantage of so many strong loops and waste the killers time.
Great Loops I can think of include: 2 pallets above the bathroom, 2 pallets beside the bathroom (the closer one gets incredibly weaker once the gen gets done, so it’s better to use that sooner rather than later. Although you can choose not to do that gen which can be very unsafe depending on the killer), Jungle gym (usually/always just one), Enlarged T/L wall (reusable!), Pallet outside of red room (completely safe), Those two complete safe pallets in which one spawns on the top corner floor and the other spawns directly below it on the bottom floor, meat grinder drop (even better with BL) into a decent pallet.
That’s just the great ones! That’s 10! amazing spots on this maps. There’s also a lot of decent loops where you have a good chance at winning. I’d say around another 10-15 of those quite honestly.
As killer, (it depends what killer I am) I usually feel neutral about it. LOS is a big asset as it’s hard for a survivor in discern where you are in a certain location. Can be great for totems spots too if you like running those.
I honestly find this map quite balanced, if not a little survivor sided (high ranks).
Those are my thoughts about this map. What are yours?
Agreed,i always said its survivor sided cause there is legit like 1 unsafe pallet on the whole map
