They have said you can turn off crossplay.

It could also have to do with toxic messages but since the endgame chat is still on pc I highly doubt it.

The didn't make any official statement about the profile access from the scoreboard thing I'm guessing? Kinda weird to take out a feature and not explain why.

Odd, i started with 42 days left and now i am tier 61, rift 1+2 done, 3 are 3 challenges missing and 75% of the 4 are still there. Seems you played just not enough games, because the xp is almost the same.

That's probably it. A lot of challenges I got lucky enough to do in one match.

  • Maybe a little bit of both. They both sound like reasonable explanations to me.

  • @CashelP14 said:

I think they done this in preparation for crossplay. Since a console player shouldn't be able to access someone's steam profile.

Oh man. Don't remind me that crossplay is coming lol. I hate crossplay.

    So I've finished all challenges of all 4 levels of the Tome III today and it only got me to rift level 62. If we do a quick math here;

    800 exp for 1 fragment

10 fragments for 1 tier level of rift

    62 to 70 is 8 tier levels

    8 tier levels needs: 8 levels x 10 fragments each = 80 fragments

    80 fragments needs: 800 exp x 80 fragments = 64000 exp

64000 exp / 500 exp = 128 games total (I've explained how i get 500 exp per game below here)

So i still need to play 128 games in 17 days which is like 8 games per day and it's like playing 5 hours each day considering queues too.

How is this OK? I'm not an average player, i'd consider myself hardcore and a good player, i have 1900+ hours in the game aswell and i play since 2017. If this is like that for me, how can an average/casual player complete this rift? Shouldn't the rift be like 50 or 60 levels on total?

(So if we can see here, a good game as a solo queue survivor where you could live long enough without getting tunneled/camped to death quickly, you get like 597 exp. With killer if you get a good game with 4 kills, you get 598 exp. If we are being too optimistic about it we could say you get 500 exp on average.)

Man I did every challenge on all levels except for four (two Huntress and two Legion) and only made it to 52....so idk #########. I don't know how this stuff works out like that. I play around 6 hours a day,but I think I missed like a week or so when I was playing Star Wars. By my math I figured I'd have to do like 200 matches, but I'm not good at math lol. I was thinking of getting as close as I can then just buying the last ones. I don't buy cosmetics otherwise so might at well. I always seem to make it to 50 something every rift. Like regardless of if I do more or less challenges. It's starting to make me slightly angry.

They’ve disabled accessing player profiles from the end game results screen in a bid to reduce harassment.

Ah I see. Thanks for that. Kinda sad they have to resort to these sorta things. If someone really wants to harass you they probably still will, but I guess there's no point in making it easier. You'll see tons of people saying they disabled messages, just to get friend requests with harassing messages attached. There's always a work around. I appreciate the help. I couldn't find the info in the patch notes or anything. Just saw that part about a block feature. At least they are taking it seriously.

  • Only thing I see in the patch notes is "added block feature to tally screen as not to allow friend invites" so yeah,I dunno.

ESC -> Match Details, click on name, doesn't work for the killer as you can only see survivor names, it bugs out with this as well, but not that often. The Scoreboard clicking on names thingy hasn't worked since the new chapter came out.

You didn't see the title of the thread where I said "PS4"? Lol. We don't have an escape button. Is that like the pause screen maybe? I mean you answered part of my question at least. That it just doesn't work anymore after the patch. I'm still wondering if it's intentional or not though

  • @[Deleted User] said:

It's very common, happens on PC as well.

Try going to match details instaed at the end screen, then clicking on names. Doesn't work for the killer

I'm not sure what you mean by match details. I'm talking about the names on the scoreboard. You were always able to click them regardless of role. It hasn't worked for days now,not just an on and off thing.

I don't particularly like any of the choices,so I went with the least offensive. Ketchup is for children. Of course the only thing I can recall dipping in mustard is soft pretzels. Unless this category includes honey mustard. Ranch is okay for certain things I guess. I used to really like it,now I only use it for curly fries lol. I really like A1. Best sauce by far. Kinda the best of all world's. Like a BBQ, garlicky flavor with a hint of fruit. They have this Bronco Berry sauce from Arby's thats really good too.

Im pretty sure German version is "Zorn des Gespensts" which is basically that

Okay I figured it was some kind of translation thing.I feel like that actually makes more sense,in a way. I always felt like it should at least be Spirit's Fury or something. Wrath of the Spirit or Ghost sounds cooler to me.

  • Is that Spirit Fury in some other country? Wrath of the Ghost?

  • You lose points for every person that is hooked and isn't unhooked as well. So the teammates doing nothing might be better than outright dying on the first hook, but I don't know the math to back that up.

  • Yeah if it gives you the daily bonus it definitely goes over the cap. Has happened to me multiple times.

PH with nurses is actually pretty good. I have a lot of time people downed through a wall because i Saw Them selfcaring of healing near me.

Yup. That might be it too. I've seen a lot of Pyramid Heads the past few days. The others I saw using it were Pig,Ghostface,Spirit, and Michael Myers...most of which makes sense.

This kinda. I run inner strength and I see more people running it now so I don't even use nurse's calling. It seems like mangling is easily countered enough by simply bringing a medkit or healing each other up. It's really only effective vs people self caring w/out medkits- but against them it is brutally effective, especially as a stealth killer. Overall I'd rather punish gens than track healing players.

I can agree with that. It can be pretty good with PH as well,or really any of the killers that have a ranged attack. Tru3 runs it on Huntress for example and can get some pretty good hits. I'm wondering if PH could hit both people if one is healing the other. Usually they disperse before I get to try. You can definitely hit both people on an unhook, because someone has done that to me a few times. It's going to be more effective with no or a low terror radius,of course. I don't usually play at super high rank (I usually stay around purple) and in my experience,if people can heal, they will.

  • @Ghoste said:

I rarely see it nowadays. Usually I see BBQ + slowdown perks on most Killers.

That's usually what I'd see as well, but I'm seeing it so often it got nuts. Of course it's impossible to track any trends without stats. That's on top of the fact one players experience isn't going to be the same as the next, because of the randomness. Just after it was in the Shrine,I started seeing it on so many builds it's unbelievable. Wanted to see if anyone else was seeing this is all.

And please do not come in here talking about how ebony moris are rare to see. I've had times where I've gotten them 4 blood webs in a row. I currently have 7 of them, but average about 1 key every 5-10 blood webs.

I was strictly killer before, but now I prefer survivor. I get too frustrated playing killer with how matchmaking has been. There's such a thing as a game not being fun...happens all the time...but there's a difference between not fun and making you feel negative. I do switch back to killer on occasion to do challenges or try the new guys. I was a Huntress main for a long time.

That's why I think it would make a better "Survivor Only" DLC if they did it. The killer in LiS is just....boring. There's also the pretty questionable content of what exactly he does with his young college girl victims before murdering them (I don't believe the game ever outright says he sexually assaulted them but it seemed heavily implied to me).

Although I guess we do have Freddy "It is also heavily implied he sexually assaulted kids" Krueger so maybe that wouldn't be a big issue. I feel the biggest issue with him would just be from a gameplay perspective as they are just a pretty run of the mill murderer rather than having anything unique or interesting about them (I don't know why I'm still being coy about who the killer is considering multiple people have already said his name but whatevs...)

With the remake Freddy it seems to even go beyond heavily implied. That's why I never understood why people thought he was cool or something. He's interesting, but he's definitely a bad guy. Jason at least you can sorta have some sympathy for. Freddy is just sick. A child killer at best. Michael Myers was obviously mentally ill,and if you go by the remake,a victim of abuse.

That doesn't have much to do with the conversation,I just got to thinking lol. Im with you. He's just not interesting. I almost forgot all about it until someone brought it up. I like remembered the bathroom scene...and then had to think for a bit about the rest. There's no visual impact or anything. I guess maybe a survivor would be cool. I'm pretty sure it would have to be Max. I just personally think it's kind of dated, and it doesn't have the excuse of being from something iconic like Silent Hill. I'd rather see something from FNAF,and I hate that idea lol.

There is actually a killer in the game (Her powers are what drives the gameplay but the killer is the driver of the story).

I don't really see how any of it would work since her powers are primarily reversing time but sure, if BHVR could figure it out, why not.

I'm not gonna hold my breath for it though

It's not exactly that kind of killer though. Like the ones we have in the game.

  • I feel like it too but I wasn't sure because I got a new TV. It seems like it's more realistic darkness. Yamaoka felt really dark to me too. Not positive though.

  • Two matches today, two PHs. I'm at 8 out of 10. Seems like if you slam them pallets down as he's loading up his power,or you hide around the corner and suction slam the thing,it fakes him out and works pretty well lol.

I am on the exact same boat as you

I think I'm almost tier 51, fell behind between levels being released and even though I play every day I feel like I'm not going to be able to reach the end and I've done every challenge except for legion and kate because I don't have her (I even did huntresses and yeah as someone who never plays her they were as difficult as they sound :( )

I usually don't mind not being able to get all the tiers even though it is disappointing when you feel like you've put in the time but this rift I really wanted yui's skin and to get all the auric cells back at least so I can use them for wraiths/yuis own tome. I only have had so much time for this one because of covid but I might be going back to work in just over a week so I doubt I'll ever reach level 70 either

Congrats on getting the challenge done though!

I actually bought Kate because her challenges seemed easier lol. I have every character now. I played on PC near launch and then quit for a long time. Like well over a year. Mainly because my PC broke. Forgot I had the game on PS4. I just strated playing again January or so. Was like near the end of the first Rift. I bought every single chapter the past few months. I think I bought like 6 of them last month haha. I used to be a Huntress main. I have her to almost P3. I just looked at those challenges and went "nope". I was already getting frustrated playing killer because of the matchmaking. Didn't want to push myself over the edge lol. I play almost every day for like 6 ish hours. Think I missed a week or so tops when I was playing Star Wars:BFII non stop. So the fact I only made it this far on the Rift is starting to bug me. You'd almost have to do every single challenge and play for like 9 hours a day to get to 70.

In fairness they did mention they haven't been able to use DS yet which is very understandable with PH, head on is a fair suggestion though

I'd say the best thing you could do with that challenge is maybe see if you can leave it for a couple of days until PH quiets down? But that being said I'm not sure where it is on the tome so if it's blocking off other challenges I get the frustration

I just had a match against a guy that apparently didn't know how to use him and I was able to get 5 stuns in one chase, lol. So I'm halfway there. First match of the day. I was able to complete the Tome from the bottom right side. Was so easy it was ridiculous. Im just only on tier 52 of the Rift and want to get higher. I did almost every single challenge on the other levels and only made it that far. There's only 3 I didn't do. One Legion one and two Huntress ones. They just sounded too hard. I'm just kinda disappointed I only made it to Tier 50 again, and I feel like I did way more of the harder challenges. Don't think I have time to play the like 200 matches it would take to get the fragments from levelling up.

    Use Head On. Or DS.

I will if I ever get the chance lol.

  • I like it as killer and survivor to be honest. Definitely much more than killer on Haddonfield. Doctor and PH seem to work real well on it. You just kinda gotta learn where everything is. I mean part of what you are saying is contradictory. The pallets are unsafe, but you can do next to nothing and waste the killers time. That's the whole point. To waste his time. You don't need many pallets when there's huge loops. Ive actually seen some insane loops people can run. Watch some videos from the PTB. Tru3 had one that was pretty crazy. I just don't like how it's hard to find the stairs lol.

I'm not going to belittle your complaints though. I felt the exact way about research facility. It's big and confusing. That's on top of it meaning nothing to me because I never saw Stranger Things. I still kinda feel that way,but I got used to it. I think doing much to it would lose some of the charming and unique aspects. Making it smaller you lose some of the detail. I personally don't like the fact theres so many places the survivors can hide in plain sight,or these little nooks you can't even see into. I like having one big interesting map for once. I see where you are coming from though,so I'm not going to argue or anything.

Hillbilly is one of the least fun characters to go against for a lot of people, or so it would seem.

If you have a look at the characters that people hate going against, they all follow a similar trend: Freddy, Nurse, Spirit, Hillbilly, Doctor........

I think he's second least fun to go against, next to Bubba. That's only because Bubba is probably going to camp. I just personally don't like any of the insta down killers from either role. I'd give Michael Myers and Spirit a pass on that though. Michael needs to load up his insta down, and Spirit has to be pretty precise. The one hit kills just always felt cheap. That's actually why I steered clear of the game after trying it for awhile,at first. But I play both roles,if people like him,I'd hate to see him get ruined.

  • @bingbongboi90 said:

Pyramid head is fine. I find it actually funny a lot of people get caged because it is general time consuming tonput down the trails during the chase. OR you are Just lucky as a killer that the survivor walks over Them. I dont really care a lot about the trails i Just place them when i am patrolling and if the survivor steps on Them i am also fine with it but i only use the cage on good circumstances.

Hell i run bbq and pop on my pyramid head it is obvious i dont use the cage often😂

Or you could know the loops and put them down in logical places. Stairs, the shack, between pallets etc. Depending on the map, deciding to cage or not needs to be pretty strategic. More often than not it's a waste of time, especially on some of the outdoor maps. I've seen people get saved in seconds. At least the hook is near you and you might catch someone running past. I mean,if you don't play scummy and camp one or the other lol.

  • @Witas said:

In the latest Q&A stream, Orion asked a question, as to why Trail of Torment shows survivors the kicked gen's aura, the response was that the devs wanted to let survivors know that something even happened, in order to avoid frustration and confusion.

That's a solid point, but it makes the way you designed the perk fundamentally flawed.

While that's a valid way of designing perks in general, in this case the perk's effect isn't enough to justify it, this perk currently reads "Show survivors your location.", 90% of the time that's it. Not only is it straight up not strong enough, Trail of Torment's very effect directly contradicts the design philosophy you entailed with it.

Since undetectable is the only status effect that depends on being unnoticed, that depends on not letting survivors know something is happening, that depends on surprising survivors, giving away your location while getting the status is just stupid, stupid and unsatisfying from the user's perspective, it's also the reason why simply extending the status' duration is not the way to go

    I see 2 solutions:

    • Simply delete the aura reveal. The design philosophy itself isn't wrong, it's the way you misinterpreted how it'll affect a stealth perk that made it the mess it is.
    • Rework the perk with the idea of "letting survivors know" for a higher payoff in mind. I suggest 16 seconds of haste, since it's simple and effective, but Im sure other things could work too.

I love the current Trail of Torment's idea, in general I think more killers should get access to Undetectability, so I'd much rather see the 1st proposed change implemented, but Im curious to hear what you guys think, both the devs and the community. Cheers :)

Maybe they could extend the duration of the undetectable,if nothing else. Then he has the chance to make some ground. I will say,in the right situation,it can scare the crap out of a person. I feel like maybe some people thought it was highlighted for a different reason. I have seen it work out,but I agree, some kind of change does seem in order.

Seriously, it's like every other game now, I don't get it. Can people really not take a down to a good killer?

I've seen more people playing "immersed" than I've seen in my entire play time this week. So many people trying to blend into the scenery. I don't know if it correlates, but a lot of times there seems to be trends in the matches.

Well, it's been a few months I didn't post on the forum, but now I feel like I have to talk about it : The rift is completely destroying my enjoyment of the game, and possibly, deteriorating my mental condition.

See, I love the game, it's been more than a year that I play it, and I just love it, and it's very painful for me to admit it, but since the rift was implemented, I started to get more and more anxious. I always was the type who's really obsessed on collecting stuff (collectathons are my nightmare, hello Mario Odyssey) and DbD doesn't make exception. I'm okay with buying only a few and select skins for my characters, it doesn't matter so much too me because I know my financial limits. But with the rift that changed, in an unhealthy way. Since the rift contains a lot of cosmetics, and for a low price, of course I bought it, and I did the first rift without a problem. Then the second one came, and I struggled more to finish it. And then this one came, and this is where it became a lot more messier.

I really, really started to struggle, even if I never had this much free time because of the quarantine, I started to really feel how slow it was going, and how terribly long some of the challenges were to do because of diverse reasons (character I'm not used to, terrible perks to use, very grindy stuff). And this started to really hurt me, like, for real, I started feeling bad playing the game like usual, because I felt like I should be more efficient, grind more, do that stuff, gain that experience, and it started having repercussions on my personal life too, as I would start to feel bad randomly because I would not be playing the game, and in a vicious cycle, if I feel bad, I can't play games, so I feel even worse because I'm wasting time not doing anything when I could be grinding the rift. It's messing with me so much I started feeling awful for days, and couldn't play for days, and then when I came back and tried to catch up on my late, playing 6 to 7 hours a day, I would feel even worse, and my matches were feeling even more unsatisfying, and I couldn't complete any challenges, and here we go, with 19 days left, and yet I'm only tier 35.

You could say to me "Well, in that case, don't buy the rift" but as I said before, it's, like, a lot of stuff you get in it, and it almost feels like an obligation to me, because I got my money back during the previouses rifts, and stopping to grind makes me feel terrible because that would basically mean I just thrown my money away, even if it's to support one of my favorite games, admit it doesnt sound really good. Even taking a break from the game makes me feel bad, and if I try to return to the game while I feel bad, it makes it just worse. I know I'm the obsessive type so I'm used to being focused on something, but this truly makes it terrible for me, having to farm for my collection, and knowing that if I can't get to the end of it, it will be gone forever. Plus, I don't have any friend who enjoys the game, so I could at least spend that time with them and feel a little less lonely while playing it (and less frustrating to run in solo-queues as survivor).

So yeah, I love this game, like, I got 2k hours on it, but since the rift is there, it's been awful to play for me, and it's having consequences on my health, and I fear I'll have to just stop playing it because of it. And I'm thinking about the future too, what about when I'll have a job again ? How will I be able to complete that rift if even now, with 6h per day on the game, I'm still struggling so much ? And I won't have the financial capacities to throw my money for tiers neither. If any dev happens to read it, please, I'm not asking you to give me unlimited free rifts and tiers or whatever, I just ask you please, make it less long, or less grindy, because it's really hurting my experience and I think (even if I hope the contrary) that I'm probably not the only one, to feel like they HAVE to grind it and spend their whole day on it. It's just hurting people who enjoy the game, and want to support you, but the length, the hard and long challenges, and the grinding changes the game in a pure anxious and stressful experience for me.

I have straight up OCD so I feel you. I've made it to around tier 50 everytime with about 6 hours a day,and I completed most of the challenges. I don't know if theres even enough time to get to the end. I just say 'oh well'. I got what I could, you know? There's some challenges I wouldn't even attempt. Do the ones that you can do or think might be fun. I don't care about cosmetics at all. For any game. It's not really going to enhance my experience. I just use the rift to have an extra set of goals.

I'd take a little break. I was getting so frustrated playing killer. Going against bullies that were already better than me to begin with. I switched to survivor for awhile. I can see a game not being "fun". I don't have fun a lot of the time...but feeling negative is way different than not having fun. I'm a trophy/achievement Hunter type guy. A completionist... probably because of my OCD. I know some stuff is beyond my skill level, and I know the difference between something being a chore, and something negativity effecting my mental health. You gotta try and learn that, with help if necessary. I applaud you for talking about it though. I know the feeling but never put it into words.

I have played against PH around 15-20 times and every single time i was far from PH when he caged someone (if he even got the chanse to cage someone since avoiding the trail is pretty easy) the cage spawned somewhat close to me or another survivor making it impossible to the killer to tunnel the survivor effectively,

Yeah that's been my experience playing as him. Depending on the map I really have to think about if I want to cage them or not. A lot of the time they are only in it for two seconds.

Let me preface this by saying I am a killer main. I don't often play survivor, so maybe my view on things for survivors isn't great. However, there's a blatant issue with Pyramid Head. Why don't BT, DS, Pop, etc. work with cages, but moris do? The logic behind being unable to use DS and BT with cages is that they are HOOK perks. Okay, whatever. It's really yikes that this killer literally encourages tunneling, but that's just the game for you. If you can't use your hook perks out of the cage, you shouldn't be able to mori out of the cage.

Moris specifically say (we'll go with an ivory for simplicity) "Grants the ability to kill one Survivor who has been hooked by your hand during the next Trial."

Well, if the cages don't count as hooks for the perks, why should they count as hooks for moris? For that matter, if cages don't count as hooks, why can you hook someone and cage them, for the same 3 states?

For real, man. Pyramid Head is so bad for the game right now. The pure, unadulterated tunneling right now is absurd. Sure, sending a survivor to the cage puts them on the other side of the map, but you can still see the cage, so what's stopping you from going after the survivor again, when they're injured, pretty much completely defenseless and fresh out of the cage? You can't really avoid the trails of torment in chases without nearly guaranteeing giving the killer a hit or a down. You may be able to urban evade through it but in my opinion, there should not be a single killer that makes you put on a perk on the off chance you get them.

BHVR, you say you want the game to be fun for everyone, and from a killers perspective, this absolutely does not seem fun for survivors at all. The tunneling is absolutely rampant right now, and its making half your playerbase want to quit. God knows first 3 games as survivor I played, I got tunneled all 3, and don't want to play survivor at all right now.

Seriously man, I don't understand why BHVR added a killer who literally does something the community has been bothered by for literal years and it needs to be changed. If tunneling has irked the community for years, why make it so easy for PH? He can pick survivors up, just like every other killer. He shouldn't be any sort of special about it. I understand it's supposed to be a cool new mechanic, but in reality, it's making people genuinely not want to play. There is no sort of fun in being tunneled, and it should not be encouraged like this.

Feel free to tell me I'm just whining if you must, but after seeing it from the killers perspective and the survivors, I really do not see where this is good for the game at all.

I don't tunnel with him at all. Sometimes I destroy with him, sometimes I lose pretty bad. Maybe they thought people were better than that. I dunno. The killer can see the hook though, right? I don't see how it's really all that different. I don't disagree that the perks should work though. I think that makes more sense than the killer not being able to see where the person is. Then people would probably just step in the stuff on purpose and hope you cage them. Then they are as far away from you as possible and go right back to blending in with the scenery lmao. (I've seen a lot more people trying to get away with that lately) I also don't think people are always trying to be malicious. You can be rank 1 and go against a low rank killer that just might not know ant better. Plus, there are people that do have a legitimate hard time finding the survivors when they aren't on gens. I saw someone running 3 "this is where the survivors are" perks yesterday. Well, now they know where you are lol.

  • I don't know if I'd trust the reviews. I heard there's an embargo on the later half. I really don't care tbh,but I'm going to grab it. I like to be a part of the conversation. I didn't care much for the first one,but everyone played it. Don't like feeling left out as a huge PlayStation fan lol.

Only 5 levels to go for Bond, then. You're close!

For what it's worth, these are the approximate costs of leveling a character, if you do it efficiently:

    • Level 1-15: About 282,000 BP
    • Level 15-40: About 780,000 BP (to go from 1-40 and unlock all teachables, it is roughly 1.1 million BP)
    • Level 40-50: About 500,000 BP
    • At Level 50, bloodwebs recycle infinitely, with BP values of ~110,000.

Don't bother prestiging, unless you love the blood-soaked cosmetics or really want the achievements. It's REALLY wasteful, especially before you have everything unlocked. I would pick 1-2 survivors as your mains, and put all of your BP into them for full perk libraries and whatnot, plus whatever killers you are most interested in.

Yeah I had already prestiged Claudette and Huntress before I knew anything about the game, and before there were that many characters to choose from, lol. I'll probably take one of them to P3 just for the achievement, but after I finish this stuff, and use Claudette as my main.

  • I actually was able to snag a few perks from the Shrine too. Adrenaline and Head on being the most useful. Forgot about those. They usually don't give good ones out like that lol.

Laurie for DS is good. I’d recommend David King for Dead Hard. DH is kinda unreliable lately cause dedicated servers but I still run it in all my builds. I like Dwight for Prove Thyself and Bond. Meg for sprint burst. Trapper for brutal strength. :)

I'm kinda wishing I had bond for the healing challenge lol. My Dwight is only 25 and appears to have no items :/

Hey you build around your weaknesses right. I sometimes struggle to spot people on darker maps and will switch out a slow down or chaser perk for a tracking perk. When I play doc who I play a lot because his abilities directly make up for my lack of good dark vision, I switch out to slowdown perks and chaser perks as I don't really need the tracking.

As hag I don't need to chase really as you'll step in a trap eventually and then I'll zap you so I kit out for slowdown etc.

It seems a lil overkill to me too but hey I guess there's a build for everyone out there. Looks like someones head went pop so it must have worked on some level. I'm curious though did you find yourself getting chased a lot?

Actually just saw a survivor run Kindred,Deja Vu,Dark Sense and Urban Evasion. Been a weird day lol.

  • @Rydog said:

My advice is this, vaguely in this priority order (Cannibal first, then prioritize killer/survivor as you like). This gets you all the big "meta" perks.

    Killers:

    • Cannibal to 35 for Barbecue & Chili.
    • Clown to 40 for Pop Goes the Weasel.
    • Legion to 30 for Discordance.
    • Shape to 30 for Save the Best for Last.

    Survivors:

    • Dwight to 30 for Bond.
    • Jake to 30 for Iron Will.
    • Meg to 40 for Sprint Burst and Adrenaline.
    • Laurie to 40 for Decisive Strike.
    • David to 35 for Dead Hard.
    • Nancy to 40 for Inner Strength.

That's very helpful,I appreciate it. It's always kinda hard to decide. I got everyone to 15 in case I wanted to use them, and then after that I thought I was on the right track but wasn't sure. There's also a few times I wanted to put some points into new guys.

  • @TAG said:

Not gonna lie, the perk has not been too shabby for me from what I've dabbled with. Inflict broken on someone, chase the person they were protecting, and after you down them and hook them, chances are the person affected by Forced Penance is still broken. 60 seconds of no-heal is longer than you'd think.

How do others who have used it feel about it?

I feel like it really depends on the team. Goes from pretty good to worthless in that sense. I don't even think I've been able to use it once. But I don't play red ranks.

  • I saw one post where someone proposed a protest by going after the Lisa's. Not too many people went along with it,at all. I mean,it's a $15 skin. I can see why people aren't happy. I'm a big fan of the character, but can't justify the purchase. That doesn't mean I have some sorta hatred towards someone than does buy it. That's kind of silly. Just be easier to start a thread and complain. If it gets enough traction the devs usually see it. There's plenty of digital stuff that's been sold for way more money, and you always see people take issue with it.

Not really. I definitely had a trap on when the last gen went off. The other guy did too. They are all huddled by the exit gate. I got lucky there was a box right near it. The guy tried to leave and pretty much killed himself. The pig was standing in the gate looking so I just booked it around the corner as soon as the trap popped off. He found people really quick. Never seemed to come near the gens much which was off.

I don't get the hate for the new map, I think it's amazing. Pallets are decently mindgameable with a few exceptions but there are also 2 if not more god pallets so that balances that out. Maybe just run Window of opportunity if you are unable to find pallets/windows until you memorise them.

People can loop like crazy on the new map from what I've seen. Frustratingly so. There's also times they've got gens on just because I couldn't find the stairs lol. There's a massive loop Tru3 showed on the PTB that's pretty huge. And if PH is OP,I sure can't tell. Yesterday I was wiping the floor with people, now I'm lucky to get one kill a match. People learn how to deal with a lot of things quick. Depends on the map and a lot of other things too. Deathslinger was pretty good at first as well. Really depends on which side you are on,I suppose. I will say the skill checks for the cage can be pretty difficult. I've failed at least twice. Otherwise it's not much different from a hook. Now the actual punishment really depends. It doesn't have the range of a hatchet or spear. And requires you to be pretty precise.

  • Kinda depends if we are talking style or perks. I like Claudette because she was the first I ever used. Also really like Kate and Feng. I personally don't really like any of the male ones very much..but if I had to pick...from a design perspective I'd pick Tapp,I suppose.
