I just came out of a game as killer where the survivors hid the entire match and never did a single gen, so obviously they all got sacrificed. However, to get the win, I had to play a game that was very boring and over an hour long with only a "brutal killer" ranking to show for it. If I wanted to leave the match and move on, I would have been given a DC penalty. How cruel. (although, without DC penalties, matches have a problem of being ruined every other game)

This is far from the only time this has happened to me, and it happens as survivor too. The killer first kills two or three people. Then, repeatedly downs the last survivor(s) and picks them up and drops them until they are no longer downed, then downs them again. This is so the three minute bleed-out time lasts much, MUCH longer than three minutes.

Matches in DbD are usually 10 to 15 minutes, with the rare lengthy match being about 20 minutes. Endgame Collapse was an amazing step in the right direction (and is what got me back into DbD after a multi-year hiatus due to matches being 2+ hours without it), but we need a timer before then to prevent matches from being 30 minutes long.

My suggestion is that after the 30 minutes are up, the match simply ends, and no players in the match get bloodpoints and everyone de-pips and is given a matchmaking penalty. There is no way to tell who is doing the hostage taking, so scorched earth makes sense (even though I am fully aware it is HIGHLY abusable). In addition, players should be banned for repeatedly drawing matches out to 30 minutes and can be unbanned via manual review. This way, if people that are often targeted by harassment, like Twitch streamers, are repeatedly held hostage, they can appeal to BHVR and get unbanned.

Although, a less foolish option would to remove any and all DC penalties after a certain length of time passes. For example, in addition to the match ending at 30 minutes, you can DC at 20 minutes and keep bloodpoints and items you earned that match. Again, highly abusable, but better than the nothing we have right now. I just want to play the game, not run in circles for literal hours waiting for the 4 Claudettes to do a single gen.

I'm not really up for anything that changes the whole dynamic of the game. Or that punishes everyone for the misdeeds of a few. Plus,if you know something can be abused,it's probably best not to implement it, because you know someone is going to find a way to use it to their advantage immediately, lol. That's just my opinion, though.

Personally the long matches are so rare for me,I can only think of two in my entire playtime. One was a long time ago. The last guy was just Urban Evading around the map with Claudette for an insane amount of time. Was getting so mad they weren't doing anything. I also couldn't find the hatch,so I gave them the benefit of the doubt (it was literally in the very corner of the swamp by the weird vaultable log). Figured they couldn't find it either because they gave up when I closed it.

The second and only other time I can think of...I was Freddy and the last two players were hiding on top of a small hill, lmao. I was going around opening lockers and everything else. Now is that my fault for not seeing them,or theirs for hiding up there? Should we all get punished because I wasn't looking up? Or because they thought it was funny I couldn't see them? What about the players that already died or whatever?

I just feel like it happens to rarely to implement something that changes everything. You know there's going to be people that don't care about the penalty. Now they can just find some place to hide (maybe even one that's an exploit),waste your time,AND make you lose everything. I don't like the timer even without a penalty. It's added stress, especially for new players (and some of the players with disabilities). I do get the fact it's frustrating to have your time wasted though. I wouldn't mind seeing a different idea for a solution.

I'll preface with this: this was a while ago and I didn't reply to them. Rolled my eyes, deleted the message, life goes on. I was also a bit wary of posting this since many people feel they need to defend themselves as if I am making an accusation or "woe is me" type post. I do not know life differently, it's not something I see a negative as much as just life. I am not posting this for sympathy, nor am I accusing anyone of doing these things. Some may also think I'm lying, since I deleted the message because I don't care what some random toxic survivor thinks of me. I have no reason to lie, but this is the internet, so you should be taking things with a grain of salt anyways.

Yes, I am. I was born with a disability that severely impacts my motor function. And it took me more than a decade of extremely nuanced OT to be able to even properly hold a PS4 controller.

I am very disabled when it comes to manual dexterity and motor function. Always have been, I was born with it. I am 19 years old and it takes me 2 minutes to tie one of my shoes. I couldn't play anything more difficult than Pokemon as a child. It took about a decade of specialised therapy to be able to do what can now. Taunt me all you want, I'm just happy I can actually play the game from a physical standpoint.

But I'm not the only bad killer who gets taunted for being bad. And I'm not the only disabled person playing the game. It doesn't bother me on a personal level because I am just happy that I can play, but it very much bothers me that people feel like they can go around saying these things.

I'm not accusing anybody of anything, of course, I will always give the benefit of the doubt.

I just think it's important to know that there are people who are fully okay with saying these things over a VIDEO GAME. If this person met me irl they wouldn't know I had a disability because I've learned to live with it in a way that lessens the burden on me, and makes me look more normal.

In the end though what does it matter? This person has the audacity to say these things, my life goes on and I'm the one using government funds to buy more DLC.

    (But also...please don't do this)

As someone who is a disabled gamer as well, hats off to you for being able to overcome it. I know it's not easy. I'm not able to sit or lay down for more than a few moments at a time without severe pain. So usually I play a few matches and get up and walk around. After awhile I found that the games where actually helping me. I was able to play for longer periods of time than I could at first, especially during a tense match.

I also have some other issues, but I've found ways around them as well. Some games are way more accommodating to the disabled than others, but if a person loves something,it seems like they try to find a way...whether that be certain mods or special controllers or gear. I really don't see as many of the disabled/mentally challenged slurs as I used to. I have a pretty thick skin personally, but that would still bother me. You don't know the other person's circumstances. I have a friend that plays and has cancer...I'm sure it would hurt if someone used that in a remark just because they didn't like the way they played. If you're going to be mean, just call someone a scrub or say they don't play well,or whatever. At least that's not picking on something people have no control over, like race, gender, disability, etc.

Now that I DO remember, albeit vaguely. I think it was the same formula we have now: number of Survivors +1 for gens if you played in a game that was less than optimal (and they were not uncommon). I mean can you imagine 2 Survivors having to repair 3 gens nowadays? These days, I feel like most of the time when it gets down to 2 Survivors it's the same question: "should I attempt a rescue and (most likely) give the Killer a 4k? Or should I play 'selfishly' and get the Hell outta Dodge?" I

It is mpressive that this game is still going strong after 4 years. Other than maybe StarCraft back in the day, it's the longest I've ever been hooked on a single game. :P

Only other game I've played that long is Final Fantasy XIV Online. Think it's been about 4 years (I didn't start at launch) and have over 3500 hours on it. I probably have close to 1000 on all the Souls series combined. I don't think I have that much on DBD. I can't remember how far I got on PC. Right now on PS4 I'm like 10 levels from Devotion 2. It was the same back then. Really without all the players is barely even worth playing. That's why people get mad when people D/C or suicy first hook. Having to do 3 is better than 5 though. I remember it being pretty common to not have a full team.

    Oh, I wonder.

This would have been something neat for the celebration. An option to join a lobby with the old skool rules and original perk designs. I wonder what % of people would have preferred the original? Also, weren't maps a lot darker? And Claudette could have her darker clothes back, lol. I would have tried the old skool lobby if it had been a thing. 😊

That's a very good question about the maps being darker. I remember it that way,but I've never been sure and never think to ask anyone. I played on PC real close to launch, and then like half the parts on my rig went and I switched to PS4. Then I took a long break and came back to PS4 like January or February. I feel like a few of the maps just got super dark after the last patch. Yamaoka being the main one. But I haven't seen anyone talking about it. The Game also seems like I can't even see sometimes. But I did get a better TV so idk. I did see one other post mention it. The game has been kinda bizarre at different points. Used to be able to start without a full team and only have to do a certain amount of generators for example. Like if you only had 2 or 3 people you didn't have to do all 5 gens. No end game collapse obviously. I dunno which I prefer. There wasn't many characters to choose from. At launch I believe there was only 7 total including all killers and survivors. Think 4 survivors and 3 killer. It would definitely be interesting though.

  • @Orion said:

At launch (version 1.0.0), it took 15 seconds to sabotage a hook using a toolbox. With Saboteur it was 18,75 seconds.

I thought it was 20,so glad to see someone answer with exact stats. Felt like forever that's for sure lol.

  • @DwightOP said:

This event is so damn lackluster. Especially when you compared it with previous events like luna or bbq. And lets not even compare dbd with other games cuz that's going to be embarrassing.

I have ZERO event vibe. Nothing. No atmosphere, noone motivated in my friendlist to grind the event, lackluster minimum effort event cosmetics (I call it the Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v crown) which are looking more silly than good. Like duh, make it St least usable on any custom head piece, it's floating anyway so no issue with different cosmetic...

Idk, maybe I'm just burned out and sick of dbd with all its issues. But I had more fun and vibes with the BBQ event than with this.

Imagine you spent years of your life making a game and nothing you could ever do can please anyone, lol. I dunno. In a way I agree...but I try to cut them some slack with everything that's been going on. At least it was an attempt to get people playing a variety of characters. And you don't have to grind as hard. And you get cosmetics just for turning the game on. The loading screens are kinda neat. BBQ and Blight are the only events I even remember. Cant say if that's good or bad. Its an anniversary. Maybe see it as a way to give some fun little things to the community that got them here, without having to make people play 50 hours to get a t-shirt.

After so many hours nothing is going to seem all that great. Ive played FFXIV for 3500 hours. People said the last expac was the best ever. A pinnacle for Final Fantasy story telling. I was bored to tears the entire time and was skipping cutscenes towards the end lol. You're entitled to your opinion though. I don't even necessarily think you're wrong. The atmosphere could be spruced up for sure. The hooks and gens for BBQ were way cooler. I do like the noise when you hook someone though.

  • @TheOhioHutcH said:

Yeah I've noticed a lot of people take it way too serious

I've got so mad it was unbelievable at times. Mainly when I first got back to playing and kept getting matched against red ranks starting at rank 18. Then I get ones that want to be bullies. I just shut the game off. When I got really frustrated,I switched to survivor for awhile. I never once thought to message someone and say something ignorant. I'm pretty dedicated to the game. I play every day. I try to play as far as possible. Just kinda crazy that sometimes it doesn't even matter. You can stay at the hook for an extra 10 seconds, and all of a sudden you're "camping trash" lol. I don't think I've ever seen a game where people get so mad. Maybe old school Halo online. They used to toss around slurs and everything.

:Edited because my phone autocorrected "shut" to a bad word, lol

Same~ I started in July 2016 (PC only)

If you've been playing for that long you should know the answer by now then. It is what it is.

I mean,I'll never truly know the answer until someone wants to admit they act like this and then tell me why themselves, you know? I'm not particularly good at anything. But I don't go around swearing at people, calling them names and stuff because I lost. Dude had to go to the trouble to try and send a message, realize he couldn't,and then decide he was going to send a friend request with a message attached to get around it. Sometimes these people accuse you of things you didn't even do. Like I got one that said "GG loser, but if you didn't camp me you could've got a 3 or 4k" I didn't camp anyone. I never do. And all 4 people escaped that match. So they must've just got confused or something.

That's actually a really good point. I didn't even think about that. He's got a pretty meta build and couldn't best someone that was playing fair, running a low level killer basically adept with brown add ons, lol.

  • @NinjaDette1 said:

There are just some people out there who get bullied so they play games like DBD.And start bullying others themselves it’s their way to release stress and anger.Don’t sweat it though there are plenty of other people that are nice killers and survivors.

I actually started playing again after a long break because of people on the forums. So I definitely know there's good people here.

  • @Orion said:

You guys think there's people that just go around being mean every match regardless of what you do?

Yes, absolutely. Don't pay attention to them and don't accept friend requests from them either.

Trust me I wasn't intending to. I just always wondered about that specifically.

  • Ruin doesn't work so great anymore. I guess you gotta do whatever you gotta do to slow the game down. As long as you aren't breaking a real rule,I say whatever. I see good players run 4 perks that slow or regress gens. So I don't necessarily think someone is bad just because the game goes fast as you have to do something to compensate. It's not like you have an unlimited supply either.

It's a regular part of life here in the DBD community. Tensions are high both in and out of the game, you learn to get used to it after awhile

I've been playing a good while. Maybe like a year on PC and over a year on PS4. Just don't usually see hate on PS4. I've only had messages like that maybe 3 times on PS4. All on DBD,lol. On PC I would see stuff all the time. I was playing like a month or two after launch.

  • @AsheruSwiftwind said:

I have been playing it... If you have a crown already your free game. If you dont and have the buff I let you go.

I tried to do the same but people started acting like jerks. They wanted to bully because apparently they thought I sucked, and not that I was intentionally trying to be nice. Anyways after early afternoon yesterday I haven't even seen anyone trying to get a crown. Seems like everyone went back to their licensed mains.

  • @Izo_Quartz said:

Why do killers get to keep their crown regardless of the trials outcome but survivors have to escape or they'll lose the crown? How is this fair? You'd have to be blind to not see the obvious bias in this...

At least have it so survivors get to keep their crown even if they're sacrificed or killed.

I mean the killers have a harder time with a lot of other aspects of the game,so in a way it seems fair to me. If the matchmaking is going to pair a yellow rank with a team of reds, why shouldn't they at least be able to get the crown and keep it? They probably aren't going to get a 4k. I main both. That's just my reasoning.

It's way easier for me to click a thing and escape with a good team than it is for a killer to get a 4k,imo,also. I'm just using that as an equivalent (the 4k) because no one is purposing what would've been fair. Even if they had to get one sacrifice with the glow active, would that be fair? Or have to keep refreshing it until the end?

Who knows why they did it. Maybe they read the forums and see the posts almost every single day from a low rank complaining they can't get a single kill because it puts them against reds. Or all the complaints the sound bugs making people want to stop playing killer. I can't speak for them though. Maybe they either thought this was the fairest way, or couldn't think of something that wouldn't cause even more complaints.

Yeah it's not intended. It also probably ends up differently depending on killer size

That's a possibility. Different hitboxes maybe. I thought they were all the same size, but I can't remember.

So for the past two days. I have had leatherfaces camp someone on a hook with his chainsaw all up in our faces. I mean is this an actual strat? This makes the game so unenjoyable. I just want to know what you guys think. Is it a strat? What do you guys think of it? Because for me it happends a lot

Btw if there are grammar mistakes, its like 3 am for me and I cant see lol

I rarely see one that doesn't camp. They do exist though. He needs some kind of rework or something to make him more viable. It's boring either way. You either sit on a hook and wait for your teammates to finish gens (if they are smart),or sit there and hold a single button doing a gen knowing there's no threat until the person on the hook dies.

Isn't that the pipe drop one? Pretty sure the killer just knocks them down as they fall. I saw it on a Monto video recently where he did it by accident and a PH just dropped down on top and he fell with him. Though it could be because of PH's size maybe.

Um maybe. But they are able to get stuck really close to the railing. So like you could possibly go over while they stay there. So they are pretty much safe if you don't know they are going to do it, because now you are at the bottom and they are still at the top. I haven't tested if you are able to hit them from the top with them in that position. But since it's a little below you,I'd assume not. Every time I've went over right behind them, they've stayed there. Not sure what killer I was. Maybe Legion. Two of the people were using it to their advantage. Didn't expect them to do it more than once, which was my mistake. I'm not sure if they would get knocked down. The one time I tried to land on them, they hurried up and dropped. Either way it's still kinda screwey. You lose a few seconds regardless.

  • I tried being nice for about two matches. Then everyone wanted to act like jerks. Some people have a really crap attitude. Like "the killer isn't killing me so he either sucks or it's my godlike skill!" The others it's either they can't take a hint,or can't believe it's possible someone could try to be nice. Anyways after the first few matches all I saw was people using their mains that aren't even able to get a crown. Still managed to have fun playing with killers I would absolutely never use and getting my crown while slaughtering Everyone lol. I tried Billy once and thought he was impossible, never tried again. Was able to get a 4k with him. Worst match was Nurse. I can't use her for anything. But they insisted trying to do one specific gen when there were safer options, pretty much bringing the kills to me lol.

  • You guys think it's possible the survivors could load into the map before the killer? I was wondering that. Sometimes I load in as survivor, and see a survivor or two that aren't moving yet. I mean they could easily just be doing something else when the match starts and it takes them a few seconds to realize. It just happens pretty often. So I was wondering if the survivor could possibly load in first and already have a few seconds on the gen before you gain control of your killer.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

I never had a problem to hit a Survivor at this Spot. Did it change recently?

I'm not positive. That's why I was asking. Even when he was near the edge it wouldn't connect. I didn't try a thousand times or anything, lol. Maybe like 5 or 6. He definitely went to that spot on purpose.

  • @Kolonite said:

I wouldn't call the spot on The Game much of an exploit. Just hold S and you'll land right there with them for smacks.

Well,I guess once you know. But in the moment you don't know if they are going to go the whole way over or not. So I suppose it's safer to assume they wont. I'm just saying if it's not intentionally put there,I label it as exploit. You can't hit em there, and if you go the whole way over and they don't,you got a long walk back.

  • I saw some in the next level for almost all my characters. But the level after that sometimes had some and sometimes didn't.

No source or anything, just by what multiple people have said on here in the forums.

Yeah I just asked the other day and got those as answers but no source either. The one said the disabled it for when the crossplay comes, which made the most sense. Like someone on PS4 can't access a Steam profile anyway, etc.

  • @Marcavecunc said:

    All non-licensed.. There's 14 survivors and 13 killers.

I'm beat anyway. It keeps putting me against rank 1 killers. Every match I've tried so far. Doesn't usually do that. I'm low purple. Some of them I can see how they got to rank one. By being cheap lol. I appreciate that though, thank you very much. I wasn't sure if they literally meant original characters, like the first 7 or whatever we had at launch lol.

  • @Mikeasaurus said:

The not being able to access player profiles is 'a bug' on all platforms. The same as the bug with peoples loadouts not appearing. The pip bar I can't be sure since I just skip right past all that and check my BP scores.

I heard they intentionally disabled it. Either to limit harassment messages,or because of crossplay coming up. Can you confirm it's a bug?

  • Can someone tell me what characters count? I tried Kate and apparently every single person in the match found the thing but me. As far as original, does it just mean all the ones that aren't from licensed chapters?

Yeah I'm not sure what that means exactly. Like the original ones when the game launched? Or original as in ones they created? Can anyone confirm a list?

  • @Strangerwithbigiron said:

Soo how does one earn said crown? because there is 0 info same goes for deathslinger and claudette event skins

I don't know if anyone answered but just in case. They have a thing on their site. I just googled "DBD 4th anniversary event". The items are log in bonuses. Looks like you get one every two or three days,8 in total. The first is a Deathslinger head. To get the crown you have to interact with a totem thing with the crown on top. It makes you glow? I guess. Then it says you have to finish the trial as killer,or escape with survivor while the glow is active.

  • @MTK said:

"Interrupt and grab 6 survivors" yeah good luck doing that ever in red ranks, the only feasible way of doing this mission is to get in a bp farm game and spam it on survivors on gens.

"15 hatchet hits in a single game" This has been the most cancerous so far since 15 hatchets pretty much means I won't be using m1 ever even when the situation calls for it.

"Hide within 10 meters of killer as dwight for 30 seconds and then escape" Yeah let me just crouch near the killer and contribute nothing to the team and escape the trial..

Who even comes up with these missions?

Dwight one is easy. Just stay near when he picks up someone to hook them. Then get the save,if they don't camp. If they do stay there for a bit and then go do some work lol. The grab one is BS though. I don't know about on PC,but on PS4 it doesn't work half the time. Sometimes it starts the animation and does nothing, sometimes it starts and you get a hit instead. I dunno. Servers don't seem up to it a lot of times. If they let go of the gen at any time,it seems like it cancels it. I didn't even attempt to try. Would probably be best to go as Myers or GF,so a person would at least have a chance. I don't mind a lot of them, but some of them are ridiculous. I aslo don't like how they put super easy ones next to hard ones. Like you might go from disturb 50 crows to having to hook 3 people in the basement in a single match or something. I don't disagree on some of these though. I'm a P3 Huntress main and didn't even bother with most of hers.

  • You had to grind to get some of these things? I already had a few of them and I don't even remember how I got them. Except for the Hallowed Blight ones.

  • I think Bubba needs a complete rework. He's really not much fun to play normal, then you see most people just camp with him. Maybe some kind of speed increase for the chainsaw,or for him period. Or maybe just think up a different kind of power,I dunno.

Highly doubt it. And even if it does,it sure lasted longer than most of the competition. Plus survived in a way better state. Most of the other games are pretty much dead,or sure should be. At best we'll see a new game when the new consoles are out. At worst an upgraded port. None of the reasons given really make any sense. Ive played almost every major AAA release since I can't even remember. I never stopped playing DBD or FFXIV,my other addiction. People seem to complain about everything, and it never seems to stop a majority from playing. Some people don't care about the issues, some look past it because they love the game. Plus there's always going to be new people that don't know any better. There would have to either be some really stiff competition that people can't stay away from,or the game would have to be in an unplayable state, not just have a myriad of smaller issues.

Pro tip: to do it fast, blind killers at pallets. You have enough time for 2 blinds if you stun -> flashlight during stun animation -> wait till they start breaking -> flashlight during break animation.

K thanks. Those ones on that side are the last ones I have besides the one to get a 4k. Sucks you can't do two at once lol. I think that all the time. Like I got a 4k while doing the Legion one,and I was chased for 45 seconds and escaped doing the Kate one. Would save the trouble of having to do it again. I appreciate the tip though. I used to be able to get blinds all the time back in the day. Now I don't even bother with the flashlight because I never pull it off.

  • I can't get to the Dwight one because I'm not good at the flashlight blinds. I think that's the one right before it.

Same goes for Legion's, Huntress' and Dwight's perk related challenges. You just have to have these 3+ 1 other. Or you can do adept while you're at it. Your choice.

Thank you. I was able to get it first try. Just took self care. I don't think I ever got hit though. This helped to know. I just did Legions and got a perfect game while doing it. Off to a good start today, lol. Ran Legion Adept+Ruin.

Is it underpowered, overpowered, meh, deserving of a buff, deserving of a nerf, etc?

I'd rather have adrenaline just personally. I've never used Hope in any of my builds.

So...you won't get anything if you have both characters? Or just cosmetics? (I didn't understand the part of cosmetics)

Okay so if you have both characters from a DLC chapter and then bought that DLC chapter,in a few instances you would get absolutely nothing. But some of the characters come with an alternate outfit you get for buying the DLC. As far as I know they are all commons. Nancy comes with a Wafer Sweatshirt and Torn Sweatshirt for example. Laurie has alternates for all three slots, hair, shirt, pants. Zarina has a jacket with a different color scarf. The DLC usually says if it includes an outfit,I'm pretty sure. But like I said, they are all commons to my knowledge, none of them are all that great either. So if you have the characters it's pretty much a waste of money, unless you want to pay $8 for a common outfit, which is about what it would cost to get a rare outfit from the shop.

Pyramid Head shouldn't be able to see the auras of cages. It encourages tunneling too much. The cage spawns are already pretty predictable, so if someone REALLY wanted to tunnel they could probably do it. But it'd be harder and take more time because they didn't know exactly where just the general area.

Cages are meant to be time savers not free passes to tunnel. At least I hope that's what the Devs intended

I think it would be more reasonable just to make the second chance perks work with the cage. It's no different from a hook in every other way but that. I think that's the easiest solution. Not being able to see the cage seems more unfair to me. It already spawns as far away from the killer as possible sometimes, and usually very close to survivors. Then by the time you find them again, they could be fully healed and/or have a gen done. If you could even find them again, and they don't just go back to Urban evading across the map lol. People that play a certain way are going to play a certain way. These are the same guys that are probably going to camp the hook or tunnel you off, whatever. I'm not sure anything is going to change that. If you don't step in the stuff he can't use the cage anyway.

  • I've never heard of this guy in my entire life. Not trying to be mean or anything. There's a post like this everyday. It doesn't really sway me one way or the other. Even if the best well known players quit, whatever. As far as actual art,it's the best map they've ever designed, hands down. There's really no comparison, especially for a just released map.

It seems to go really well for some killers. Doctor seems to do pretty good. Pyramid Head,a good few of the stealth ones. So if you main a certain guy,it might not go so well, because of the distance you might have to travel. As survivor, there's tons of places to hide,if that's your thing, plus you can see the killer from a mile away sometimes. I really don't think it's bad. Not too many maps got overwhelming praise when they were released anyway.

The sound bugs however,I really don't blame someone for taking a break over. You either modify your strategy,or chill until it gets fixed. Everyone needs a break sometimes anyways. If you love the game and dedicated yourself to it,you can look past some of the flaws on occasion. I was furious with the matchmaking when I was low rank killer just returning to the game. I just switched to survivor for awhile.

  • If you have one character but not the other, you're probably better off to just buy the other with shards or something. Especially if you don't care about cosmetics. None of the ones you get are all that amazing anyways. It's definitely cheaper to buy the whole DLC then to buy the characters separately. I ran into a similar situation. I didn't have any of the DLCs until recently. I bought two characters with shards, bought the rest of the packs, then just bought the other two missing characters with cells, which wasn't the best way to do it.

Not right away, but usually at some point. Either after hitting them with Punishment of the Damned or to give another survivor the hatch. Makes it really hard to pip. I'm really enjoying him, but I wish survivors would stop DCing.

I feel the exact same. Especially if it's not going their way. Sometimes they don't even wait to see how you are going to play though.

I only play one character, Jake, and I was lucky enough to be able to get teachables I wanted from the Shrine. Recently, however, I've wanted to get some teachables that were not in the shrine, and good god, it's a pain in the ass to level up those characters.

At least with killers, they have different play styles, so you can play them directly to get BP and it's fun because it's a different playstyle. If I want to level up Nancy, I can either play her directly and essentially throw away the perks I have on Jake, or I can play Jake and not get anything for him because all the BP is going to Nancy.

How do you guys find the patience to do it?

I mean there's no real point to even level them all to 50. Maybe once you have everything you want or need. I actually just asked for some suggestions on who to level first. Like you get all the teachables for a character by 40 so not much point going past that if you aren't going to use them.

Toxic survivors are usually more vocal I think or do the teabagging and flashlighting bit...

or maybe you mean they kill themselves off first hook or let themselves get caught...

Toxic killers is a bit different because it's understood but not "defined" (I.E. camping, tunneling, slugging, etc etc) However I have also had killers go off on me in chat after the game lol..

So which do you see more? Why?

I want to say it's even, but upon further reflection, yeah,it's probably just going to be survivors. They have a lot more things at their disposal. Since you can get killers that are low rank, there can sometimes be the excuse of "they just didn't know any better" that people frown on camping or whatever. As far as messages,it's still going to be survivors. Don't really see a lot of salty messages from killers, personally.

I'm terribad at this game (die as survivor and can't kill as killer) and it feels bad to go against people a lot higher rank than me since I know my skills are subar already :(

Everyone gets better. I was really really bad too. Now I can make it to purple as both roles. It is frustrating though. Especially when they have to be bullies on top.

    Mines definetly david and zarina

In terms of what? Everyone that asks these questions leaves it too vague. In terms of actual design, lore, gameplay? I personally don't really like any of the male characters. If I absolutely had to pick one it'd be Tapp. Female,Kate or Feng Min.
