I'm going to give you a clear, unbiased answer, she flat out ignores all defences that survivors have other than lockers. She has good map pressure and is practically immune to looping.

Survivors I want:
Brenda Meeks
Sue Snell
Wendy Torrance
Killers I want:
Carrie White
Jack Torrance

There are exactly 2 killers that don't require addons. Guess where they are in the food chain.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/567263#Comment_567263
You know, I would love to have a killer perk that gives me free addons. Just like plunderers and ace in the hole.
But such things only exist for survivors.
When I equip my farm build on my survivors I get items worth of 10-12k points.
Survivors have the tools. But complain when they don't use them.
-Spirit
-Nurse
-Hillbilly
-Hag
-Shape
Each one of these killers can be played effectively using only perks and without add-ons, however only one can be used effectively without perks. The only one I believe is still somewhat weak is shape seeing as he has very little map pressure but despite this, can still be used effectively due to his stealthy nature and one shot ability.

Survivors literally just want something for free, with no fuss or argument. It was already unfair before they got their first freebie in terms of bloodpoints and every request since has been for the gap to widen under the pretense of a killer-lead in points that doesn't exist.
If they cared one tiny bit for truth, they'd be talking about points-per-time-played, accounting for the post-match adjustments. They have to talk instead about points-per-match because on a level playing-field, the double-standards are nakedly obvious.
You're acting as though survivors earning more points means you get less. The grind in this game is ridiculous and currently we all know that survivors earn fewer points. So what you're saying is that only 20% of the people in a match should get enough points to make any significant progress in a bloodweb despite the fact that survivors have a longer grind than killers.
If they keep the survivors bloodpoint gain the same as it is now, within a few chapters there will be no survivors for you to earn bloodpoints from seeing as they only ever get a fraction of the points that killers get. Maybe instead of instantly jumping on the killer main bandwagon of "SuRvIvOrS eNtItLeD" maybe just realise that everyone in the game is really trying to get points and you aren't any more entitled to them than anyone else. Also FYI, add-ons aren't necessary to play the game, you can play effectively with most killers without them and if you think otherwise then you've become too reliant on them.
-
DS used to work like that and it was ridiculously strong, that's why they changed it and the majority of players like it so it isn't changing.

absolutely no
even i don't have these things
if they release this for nothing how to compensate originals?
You do realise they got it for free and we'll most likely have to pay upwards of $10

I bloody well hope so, I've always hated that her Phoenix rises polo goes with NONE of her other cosmetics and this would solve that problem.

No man, Sabo is a nurse-tier perk (or whatever the survivor equivalent for nurse is), hard to master and is a bith to learn, but if you take time and learn when and when not to use it, you can force drops without a pallet or flashlight just by outwaiting the wriggle timer by dropping hooks. Add to that if you can sabo a lot of hooks to 99% (trapper setup style) you can almost deny every hook a killer can do.
A "nurse-tier perk" couldn't be countered by slugging, an already very effective killer strategy without completely countering a game mechanic and perk.
-
I wish the devs would make lightweight reduce the noise made by walking, would be especially good in this situation seeing as there is nothing survivors can really do about it.
-
Literally every single time I see you post all you want is survivors to be nerfed in EVERY aspect of the game. The devs are going to balance what they see fit and aren't going to nerf/buff every little thing you complain about. Maybe instead of resorting to complaining to the devs straight away, try a different playstyle or switch up perks, just do ANYTHING but complain about every slight inconvenience.

New killers
Rank 3...
either you abuse the rank system to swf with rank 15 survivors or your statement makes cero to no sense.
It's pretty easy to rank up, and even then red ranks always get matched up with purple ranks which is obviously even easier to get to.
-
The person who gets there first gets the hatch, that's how it should be, if you don't like that you'll just have to deal with it.
-
They were talking about Patricia, a member of BHVR.
-
You literally have NO grounds to make this claim, he is nowhere near being ready to go onto live servers and changes are bound to be made, instead of instantly jumping to conclusions, why not actually try playing with it first?
-
I think it would be a great idea to make them interchangeable in the loadout menu, give him one power with snares and one with pallets.
-
@redsopine01 said:
I just hope the not being seen pills can still be used
That isn't how his power works anymore
-
I think most of them look the same
-
So what you want for is for Ghostface to be able to stalk a survivor fully before they can even break him out of stealth?

We keep asking to devs now the game runs at 45-60 fps on consoles. No success i guess nurse will never be playable like PC.
@Peanits hotfix when ?
She is playable though, just a short while ago I managed to get her adept at rank 6 when 2 of the survivors were using old MoM on Swamp. If you stick with her, she gets easier, so I'm just assuming you only played 1 or 2 matches with her and gave up.
-
I actually like This Is Not Happening, makes healing yourself and ruin easier to do more efficiently, especially if you 99 your healing progress bar and then do gens.
-
I think catatonic boy's treasure is a fair add-on, kind of annoying when you try to chain blink through something but can't.

Here you go ;)

Yeah just saw that, don't worry though I'll try and find a pic of it for you :)

(Late to the party I know but...)
I feel as though both Nea and Jeff would get along with killers such as Wraith or Nurse due to the fact that I think that all of them would have very reserved and quiet personalities.

Clip it or it didn't happen.
RIP I assumed you just meant like general tunnelling, there's no way you could do THAT at high ranks even with PC Nurse. It's easy to do it without tunnelling as in going after someone that just got unhooked but going for survivors in a specific order? No way in hell that ANYONE could do that.
-
Kinda geeky but I've always had a soft spot for the Nancy Drew games. Been playing them ever since I was little and they're surprisingly still making them.
-
Pretty easy to do so IMO, I understand tunnelling at red ranks when using a weaker killer but I've never been able to figure out why people don't just play a different killer at red ranks. I understand that people will want to play their favourite character but you don't HAVE to play that character. To get back on topic with stronger killers this challenge isn't all too difficult.
-
On the wiki it should be on his character profile in the customization section, keep in mind Jeff only has an alternate torso, no legs or head.
-
I don't really remember it in any detail but when I was younger my family had a REALLY creepy neighbour who I found terrifying and my 6 year old brain decided the best course of action was to have a nightmare where his decapitated body was just standing in my parents' bedroom and began walking towards me. Not my most fun experience.

And for especially long wait times, a dead by daylight cluedo (or clue)
Who killed Claudette? In which realm? And with what weapon?

Exhaustion was a mechanic literally added to the strongest perks, so that you couldn't just run them all together at once. A perk with exhaustion, therefore, does not need any buffs whatsoever.
The sole exception to this is Head On, however. That perk has the distinct honor of not only being unreliable due to its wonky hitbox, but it's just overall not that great.
I know, that's why I suggested it. Ever since they changed exhaustion I have realised that running more than one exhaustion perk (with the exception of BL and Adrenaline) is completely useless and I personally don't think it should be.
-
Just so everyone knows, this IS NOT a bug. Peanits has confirmed that this occurs when the map being used has the minimum amount of pallets on it. I'm pretty sure that it's done in order to compensate for there being fewer pallets.
Edit: (here is his explanation)
To keep it simple, the game tries to even spread out the pallets as much as it can. It'll keep placing pallets in "valid" pallet spots (where there's no other pallets nearby) until the minimum pallet count is reached. If the minimum pallet count has not been reached and there are no valid spots, it will break the rules and place the remaining pallet(s) wherever it can.
The silver lining here is that when two pallets spawn next to each other like this, you have the absolute minimum number of pallets for that map.
-
I kind of wanted some sort of beach resort map (similar to mt. Ormond) but I don't know how they could make a map like that seem creepy.
-
Pretty sure that's just regular lag, lag switches usually cause the entire game to freeze rather than just 1 character.
-
Ngl I've played this game for over 2 years and just being in the terror radius stresses me out so getting jumpscared basically causes me to go into convulsions.
-
Game said "💩"
-
Yeah the physics might be gone but at least it actually looks like hair now.
-
Since you updated/changed legion (in my opinion gutted them), can Doctor "snap out of it" be considered as a healing action again?
So because other killers got nerfs, you want to buff the most annoying killer in the game by letting him see survivors' auras while snapping out despite the fact that in reality, calming yourself down is in no way shape or form linked to a change of physical well-being.

I was waiting for my chick to get ready one night, so for a laugh i booted up her dbd account (killer rank 20).
Ya i forgot she gets public messages (ps4).
Holy hell the very 1st person i sacrifice (some ash try hard) immediately sends me rage messages. Told me I was bad at dbd because i proximity camped and his friends couldn't save him (like ya.. you're playing ash and it's rank 20..). I told him he shouldn't have got hooked. I was playing Clown for christ sake.
I ignore him after that, but he was soooo mad that he kept messaging! Then he got mad that I wasn't messaging! I couldn't stop laughing. Again, this was AT RANK 20! Fun times.
You say that as though clown is the worst killer in the game when he isn't, he may not be as strong as other killers but he certainly isn't bad. You also say that him playing Ash is a justification for camping, if there's 1 or 2 generators left, camping is understandable but why do you base it on the character they're playing?
-
They could always create another cloak similar to this one and pair it with the previously mentioned skele-face mask as a grim reaper outfit.
-
I'm just happy he can't keep filling the exposed meter by just ducking in and out of cover anymore.
-
Brenda Meeks, 'nuff said
-
The mega mega safe pallets that a killer has to break in order to stop a loop (shack, game basement, Haddonfield and Badham basement, etc.)
-
Carrie along with Sue Snell as a survivor or Jack Torrance with Wendy Torrance as a survivor.

Blame the survivors gen rushing like mad. Also blame BHVR for releasing another bad killer.
Okay no need to get mad, it's just a joke
-
I think that they should change it to the timing it had before, 4 seconds but the survivor regains control instantly.

Well could you post a clip of it? All I hear on the menu is ghostface's music.
Nvm, just found it, I thought that the music would be a completely different style to the ghostface music and assumed that they were just the same thing, sorry.
Edit: managed to quote my own post bc I'm an idiot so I'll just tag you, @PyroDude

Wrong.
OP is talking about the music you hear in the main menu.
Ghost face's music plays when you select him at the campfire, which is a different song.
Well could you post a clip of it? All I hear on the menu is ghostface's music.

All of what you just said is not crutch since neither of those effects inherently make a perk a crutch perk.
For example, Devour Hope and PWYF are both definitely not crutch perks.
In fact Devour Hope is a perk that has both of the effects you listed at once AND lets you Mori people. But no one in their right mind would call it a crutch perk.
The reason that DH and PWYF aren't crutch is that you have to do something to earn them, NOED is just handed to you if you play badly.
