Survivors have had a little grunt when slow vaulting for as long as I can remember, some of them louder than others. Also, it
doesn'twork, just like any other sound in dbd.Well it's SIGNIFICANTLY louder than it has ever been then

It's a perk that becomes useless after 90 seconds.
45 seconds**

Yeah, I'm sorry but I'm currently not up for reading 16 pages of comments, more than likely filled with flaming and arguing, since this subject is emotionally charged.
And yes, I literally said that they made a Twitter post during pride month. But the person who runs the account isn't necessarily a dev. They work at BHVR but they don't actually develop the game.
"Not_Queen confirmed that they working on it" Do you really think a dev team needs one year and beyond to add a gay Survivor? You must know that this is a weak response. Mentioning it in their backstory isn't that hard in the slightest.
No, it is far more likely that their shareholders are affecting their decisions because of who owns a portion of BHVR, and you and everyone else fell for a PR move to gain Internet points.
The devs work on chapters at least a year in advance. With that in mind along with the fact that the devs mentioned in their Twitter post that the influx of support towards their LGBT community during pride month was what finally pushed them to adding in LGBT rep, as well as the fact that the next chapter is going to be RE, the earliest possible chapter we could have received an LGBT character in would be the chapter after next.

What, you mean their official Twitter account confirmed it?
You do realize that was said during Pride Month in order to get points on Twitter, right? BHVR clearly honors China, they 100% will never add a LGBT character.
Look back in the thread, they made a Twitter post during pride month, and a while later, Not_Queen confirmed that they were working on it. Despite what you may think, not all businesses lie to gain popularity.

Your first chase matters a lot when it comes to the game. Being forced to bail it because of lucky break is dumb.
The issue with lucky break was that it effected the FIRST chase you had, making it very hard to start pressure in a match when everyone is vaporising into think air when you hit them. This version still has that problem.
Do you understand how important the first chase is?
Yes, but if I manage to hit a survivor and see that they have LB, I have a choice
A) Commit to the chase with the risk of losing them
B) Find someone else, spreading pressure and keeping people off gens
Now without LB either one of these choices would be viable, with LB I'm just more insentivised to go for option B. By the time I find the first survivor again, LB will have probably already expired ergo, it presents very little hindrance to my lethality as a killer.
-
You're really complaining about the live version of Lucky Break? It's essentially a one time use perk at this point.

They aren't actual characters with their own unique backstories though, they're skins for pre existing characters. I can see where you're coming from but it really isn't the same.
-
Survivors (for the most part) will not know whether or not a hex perk is in play at the start of the match. Before this change, killers would know whether or not someone had DS the second that they loaded in.
-
Should have made the duration something like 15 seconds at tier 3 but have it reset each time you heal.
-
Wish they had made it so that Lucky Break only lasted like 10/12/15 seconds but let it reset after you get healed.

I didn't call YOU cringe. I said these topics sometimes make me cringe.
But you want the truth? I find people get overly hostile in these convos. And that's the problem. If anyone pushes back, or God forbid, questions the Rainbow they get inundated with accusations and venom. And yeah, it makes me cringe because I feel people should be able to speak freely without a woke mob coming for them.
I know I'm a bad Gay who indulged in wrong think, so I'll just sit back and wait for the bombardment of outrage.
From this post alone, it seems like you might be the cringe one my guy.
-
Because being forced to sit there doing literally nothing for 2 minutes is pretty boring to say the least. Not only that but survivors get practically no points even after a good match where they escape, let alone one where they barely get a chance to even play the game.
Also, side note: The vast majority of players play both roles, don't imply that the community is divided into two sides. The us vs them mentality does nothing but cause unnecessary conflict in the community.

Ever play spirit against good survivors with iron will and no stridor?
as long as both perks exist, a killer that can't see and is all about sound IS forced to use it.
I look forward to your rebuttal that proves me wrong with facts.
The fact that I main Spirit without Stridor and that I have a headset. Just because I can't hear their grunts of pain doesn't mean I can't hear other things in the environment. If I can't hear anything at all, I stop phasing and relocate whoever I'm chasing. Not that difficult.

@Polishnope said:
How is Iron will unbalanced.By your logic NOED ,Pop ,rancor is also unbalanced. They are literally waste one perk slot for it .
They made a whole other thread about how "OP" Iron Will is and how they're "forced" to run Stridor in order to counter it, I wouldn't waste your time arguing with them.

MoM shouldn't have released in the first place. The fact the devs introduced that perk proves how little they play their own game.
You could say the exact same thing about the first iteration of Undying

"Survivors need another objective." "Let's destroy this perk that gives survivors another objective because it's 'op'."
That "other objective" also gave killers a visual cue when that objective was being worked on. Implying that all it did was slow the game down a little bit is silly, Undying could single handedly win games for bad killers because of how much pressure it put on survivors when combined with Ruin.

You don't get hit through the pallet if you wouldn't get hit pre bug. The only thing missing is the stun.
Not true, you can now get hit through pallets that have already been dropped.
-
Although it isn't to the same degree as undetectable, the lullaby gives Freddy some degree of stealth in that it's difficult to tell how far away he is seeing as the lullaby is pretty much consistent in intensity regardless of how far away he is, similar to Huntress's one.

DS took 4 years.
Undying+ruin took 3 months.
.......?
Mettle of man took 2 months...
Surprise! Perks that make the game unbalanced get nerfed, regardless of which role they're for!

Right now you absolutely ######### can.
Key spawn rates are bugged to be the same at base as when you're running Plunderers.
If you're searching chests, you will find keys at absurd rates right now.
They really aren't as high as people are making them out to be. I'm not sure whether or not the recent hotfix affected the spawn rate in some way without actually stating as such but ever since said hotfix I don't think I've found a single key myself. Obviously this is just anecdotal so I could be completely wrong, but going off my first hand experiences, the spawn rates are nowhere near as high as they were upon All-Kill's release.
-
Please, I don't like to have to keep saying this over and over. Making the survivor META even smaller than it already is, is NOT a good idea.
-
They should honestly just move the window onto the wall that the window is on, might reduce the size of the loop enough so that the window cannot be used so many times before the killer catches up.
-
Tbh at that point I'd rather just have a concede option so I can get out of that match
-
With how awful GF's reveal mechanic is, I feel as though this would be too difficult for BHVR to code. I hope they do eventually give him some good changes though.
-
What?
-
The least they could do is buff the aura reading aspect of the perk, they only disappear when you're a couple of seconds away from whatever hook they're taking you to.
-
Seeing as it's the map that arguably causes the most complaints, I'd actually be surprised if they didn't make it more balanced when they update it. Although the devs do quite often make questionable decisions, the map updates so far (with the exceptions of the game and possibly fractured cowshed) have seemingly been rather good. I'd expect Haddonfield to become similar to Badham (not to say that Badham is perfectly balanced, but it's certainly more balanced than Haddonfield currently is).

Because it's a bug that favors survivors, it's not bannable. Because survivor fun>killer fun. Historically true as well. Remember the wake-up bug?
If it was a killer bug, as has been seen in the past, the devs would put a warning in game and ban killers for it. Remember double blades Legion?
Are you forgetting about infinite undetectable with tier 2 Tinkerer?

Let's not forget the grab bug!
Almost 2 years going strong on that bug. Survivors have been enjoying that one for awhile.
Grabs are pretty rare as is. I know that getting a hit instead of a grab is certainly annoying but even getting the hit off gives you pressure. Not only that but it may not even necessarily be a bug but a latency issue instead, same goes for when a survivor is grabbed despite letting go before the grab occurs.
-
Everyone before the Stranger Things chapter (maybe Nancy as well though)
-
Did you just imply that Midwich and Ormond are survivor sided?
-
He just mistimed the blind, you have to complete it after the killer regains control of their movement.
-
Tbh I just wish there was a way to disarm traps by default, I don't think being able to just rub the ground where her trap is would make her weak.
-
Tbh there needs to be some sort of BP rework, killers are required to 4k to get max. points (which leads to people using boring or unfun tactics in order to guarantee this happening), and survivors don't get max. points without farming.

@Jane_Is_Mega_Thicc said:
I thought the old undying was perfectly fine the way it was, Hexes got cleansed in the first five seconds of the match and the perk made totems viable. The only thing I would have done is give the aura ability to Thrill of the Hunt. But nope, the cry baby survivors got what they want.
Dude, it literally made solo queue unplayable. Solos cannot communicate what they are doing/where something is to their teammates. So basically if a survivor found a totem, they would start cleansing, get chased away because of aura reading, and then nobody else would cleanse it. This would continue for the entirety of the match until it ended with 3 to 4 dead.
-
- Twins (make them stronger but also add more counter play instead of just the pray that the player misses their pounce tech)
- Spirit (actually give survivors some form of feedback)
- Reduce grind in some way

Easy.
Renewed Agony:
After hooking a survivor, Renewed Agony activates for 10/15/20 seconds or when the hooked survivor escapes. Any survivor that is within 8 meters radius of the hooked survivor is exposed, this effect lingers for 30 seconds when the afflicted survivor either leaves the hook radius or Renewed Agony deactivates.
So...Make Your Choice...but remove the distance requirement for the killer...and it can be applied to multiple survivors? I'm sure that'll be fun.
-
I generally seem to manage just fine as killer, even when playing "fair"
-
You say that as using DS is at all relevant to the post? Also basement Trapper is a pretty oppressive build, I don't really blame them for suiciding.

I need them now

Actually if you look at the X closely with the image of the Dead By Daylight X Resident Evil 25th, it's actually Mr.X that is coming to dead by daylight. like the similar 4th Anniversary for dead by daylight for silent hill that the fully represents pyramid head. Mr.X is actually the killer coming out.
That's just speculation, there has been no official confirmation

So playing well to you is running in a circle and only dropping it after you use dead hard I’m on about making it that people don’t abuse a single pallet anymore by them being locked out of the pass but if your that god you can use the distance after the last time though to move along
Learn how to loop tiles properly then, if you don't respect pallets, they're usually dropped in no time.
-
Possibly, but generally licensed chapters are kept under wraps. I'm surprised we even got an announcement about it at all.
-
Could also be
-
You can't seriously be suggesting that survivors should be punished for playing well.

She's fine. Without her, all you'd get is Nurse at red ranks.
Just don't be predictable.
AS a Spirit main, you really don't have to predict survivors, just follow them.

They honestly need to make Stridor do something that:
A) Doesn't have an effect that strong on Spirit
B) Does something even remotely useful for other killers
