They're saying that it wasn't a balanced video and it's based around this game. But apparently the games own forums in general discussions aren't a place for it?

If you want this type of thing to not be on the forums that's fine. Then remove it, don't just close it and leave it there.

    Although I agree with you and I think discussing + critiquing a video that compares the viability of two killers should be perfectly accepted in the general discussion forum, you’re probably going to get a warning for discussing forum moderation. Just a heads up.

    I'm not crying over mods doing their jobs, I'm voicing an opinion that's all. Nowhere am I saying They were wrong to make that choice, all I'm saying is, if they don't want content like that on the forums don't leave it for people to see. that's all.

    i agree with the mod. hell, i almost posted "the youtube comments are already a forum thread about this video, post in there" myself, before deciding to just ignore the thread entirely.

    i swear this forum gets a new thread every time otz farts. it's really not healthy to be this desperate to talk about someone's youtube content in literally every location you conceivably might be allowed to do so, and it's even less healthy to get upset and start complaining when you're told to take it elsewhere.

    if you wanna talk about otz's videos there is a whole comment section just for doing that, and there's probably a subreddit and discord devoted to that too. why does it have to be here?

    This is a Forum about the game, to discuss the game content, but not to criticize content creators really, mostly as this can easily escalate into bashing and insults - then suddenly this content creator gets mentioned and insulted, etc.

    It's not the right place. If it's to have a proper game-discussion (e.g. someone found a new way to play the game you wanna discuss, etc.), that is fine, but if you want to discuss what the content creator is doing and how they are presenting their content, then please use the channels related to them, e.g. YouTube, Twitch, etc. The Forum is not the right place for this. We've permitted threads in which it was about the game itself, but not when it's about the content of a content creator.

    The Forum is not here to critique a video someone made or in essence, to critique their content. Use their channels for it.
