Don't cleanse, there is literally 0 reason to ever do so ever since her latest buff. If you do, you're just going to be broken again within the next 30 seconds.

What's the proof that shows nurse is holding strong perks back? because statistically nurse is NEVER been a strong killer, no way she can holds the perks back.
Omg you're right, statistics show that Nurse is the weakest killer in the game, so how would you suggest we buff the killer that can already go through walls?

You can buff other killers without nerfing Nurse.
But perks will still be stuck in their mediocre state. Nurse holds other killers back in regards to strong perks. Take Starstruck for example, they could buff the 30 second duration up to 60 seconds...if Nurse didn't exist. Her sheer strength prevents the devs from making strong perks because if they do, Nurse would literally be an unbeatable killer. She is holding the game back from being nearly as good as it has the potential to be in regards to killer gameplay.

Survivors have so many stealth perks for avoiding sight, making sound, and now even blood trails and scratch marks. A Nurse can’t chase or down what she can’t find. Even without perks, lockers are available every match (to avoid BBQ or other perks).
Mind games aren’t ever meant to be 100% against any killer, or are chases designed to be indefinite. Nurse changes how you evade, which other killers do as well.
Any exhaustion perk that gets you stealth against her is excellent. Only Smash Hit would be a bad exhaustion perk against her usually.
Yeah, lockers. Believe it or not, you can actually juke a Nurse attack by jumping in a locker. And (gasp) even have enough time to jump out while she is in fatigue! And of course, blocking aura reading perks.
Lightburn is an option, even if difficult to achieve. As are pallets.
Nurse is here to stay. Hopefully she doesn’t get any more base kit changes.
Regarding your comment regarding lockers, even if you time your exit millisecond perfect, you literally only get about 5 metres distance (not a lot)

Depends which killer is using it, low tier killer I personally don't mind it, killers like Nurse or Blight? I'd rather just play killer myself
-
1) You don't have to play as the other killers however you do need to level them up
2) The matchmaking system is pretty bad, the devs added it in despite most people saying they didn't like it
3) Unfortunately not
-
Pretty sure that it's because the forum pfps are square as opposed to rectangular, it's the same with Cheryl, you can't see her shoulders on her in-game icon.

Yes please. I don't love FNAF, but i think dbd should have representation of all influential horror throughout the years. It makes it an epic mashup of all horror that all niche fans can celebrate together.
And to spit on the toxic haters that hide behind lgbt+ as a reason to gatekeep a predominantly lgbt+ fanbase 😂
I think not wanting a title in dbd because the original creator supported homophobes isn't exactly an invalid reason though is it?

No. I find the franchise to be quite mediocre, akin to those mobile investigation games I have come to associate with big fish and other similar companies.
It has very little going for it.
Then again we have pinhead, from another mediocre production with little more than a cult fan base. So who knows?
I do love the hellraiser first couple movies, so it has that going for me.
Don't disrespect bigfishgames like that ever again
-
No, I don't want the annoying fnaf fans to get what they want.
-
I'd be happy for this to happen if they reworked Hawkins
-
Get better 4head, a B/C tier killer should be 4King consistently on a map like Badham 🙄🙄🙄

@N8dog said:
you could run empathy and cut them off. That sound good to you?
The trophy has super dumb requirements.
The survivor who gets injured has to get hit at leat 16m away from me, and when I heal them, I have to be within 16m of where I was when they were initially hit.
So in short, just cutting them off with empathy wouldn't work.

They are both better at different things, Sadako has better stealth, a game stall mechanic, and has an easier time teleporting. Demo is better in chase, and has the ability to choose where he puts his portals, however they can be temporarily removed. At the end of the day, they are both similar, but certainly have unique aspects to each them.
-
The only reason I don't like it is the fact that so many players can't be bothered to learn its layout, the map's only RNG is pallet spawns, and you learn the layout of the building after only an hour or 2 of playing RE2, and that version has countless pathways completely blocked off, dbd's version is much easier to traverse.
-
Because:
1) It offers next to no hindrance to the killer, she is still the same speed regardless of whether she is in stealth or not (unlike Pig for example)
2) Her stealth ability has no sort of cooldown on it, she can activate it at any time she wants (unlike Ghostface)
3) Her power also comes with a game stall mechanic (unlike Wraith)
4) The lullaby is barely audible, it only has a real effect when she's within 5 or 6 metres of a survivor (like Ghostface's rustling sound effects)
At the end of the day her power isn't the best in the game, however there are reasons that explain why the devs may not have wanted her to have complete stealth while demanifested, and her power still serves its purpose, sneaking up on survivors isn't all that challenging as Sadako.

If you think that the button toggle change had any sort of effect on balance, I don't know what to say.

Fingers crossed Judith stays. "oh no, I just died".
It's one of the most interesting things left from old dbd. It's such a shift of imagery. You are now facing a killer that gives you no second chance. It's really cool to face and I recommend you shift your attitude from "very competitive game" to "I'm playing a horror game" when facing tombstone Myers. It's a unique experience if you know how to immerse in it.
But the thing about Tombstobe is that it doesn't make me think "oh no, I'm playing a horror game", it makes me think "oh great, my teammates did something stupid, and now I'm being removed from the game before I even had the chance to play it"
-
@Bartlaus said:
How often do u play against tombstone myers?
Not super often seeing as Myers isn't a very popular killer, but when I do face a Myers, there seems to be about a 50% chance that he's running a Tombstone add-on
-
I'd definitely say it fits with the Eyrie much more than Mother's Dwelling, so I'd be happy with this.
-
Super annoying, I shouldn't be getting insta killed in my first chase just because my teammates were stupid enough to let him stalk them. I believe it to be fundamentally bad game design.
-
@Cetren said:
I mean not to be that guy, but it kind of sounds like a personal problem. You might just need to get better at being aware of your emblems and what you still need to do in the match. If you're getting literally zero altruism, (which isn't even possible in this scenario, since you start at bronze) that means he's not hitting or downing anyone, which gives you iridescent unbreakable.
You will only get Iri unbreakable if you escape

Yes, I personally think all the killers should be buffed. Also she's the best chaser but blight has better map pressure on most maps.
She can literally go through walls
-
@Alice_pbg said:
that isn't a rework. that's just changing it into another perk.
just remove the invincible frames.
But then there would be no reason to run it, literally every other exhaustion perk would be better
-
My current Huntress build is Iron Maiden, average about 3 kills per match.

You’ve gone up against the person?
Yes, many times
-
I just want to see the killer's name, as GBK said, there's a certain EU Pig main that literally plays like their life depends on it, and will complain about everything no matter how the match ended for them. I'd rather just not have to ever play against them again.
-
Shadowstep and Exponential are already situational enough as they are.

The whole healing got way too much.
They should reduce all healing in the game but i think this will never happen.
They already did that a while ago, I really don't think that self-care needs nerfed again, and I don't think solo queue needs to be even more boring.
-
I really don't think it needs nerfed. Just like Boon Totems, the exhaustion mechanic as a whole isn't a problem, only 1 or 2 perks are.

gotta love this argument against dead hard users as well
I'd generally say that getting a grab is significantly better for killer than a killer missing a hit is for survivor. Obviously this is not the case in all situations, but Dead Hard has the chance to only extend chase by a couple of seconds, getting a grab as killer is pretty huge in most situations.
-
Because that would literally reward killers with bad Internet? Like they would literally just get free downs by playing on McDonald's WiFi.
-
I'm so glad that you find joy in making things unnecessarily harder for people rather than letting people conplete their side objectives.
-
I don't know whether they're on the forums, but I quite often see a Laurie in my lobbies who always has a name along the lines of "Pig and Rancor terrify me" or "Pig and Rancor no" and I think it's hilarious. So if that Laurie is on the forums, I want them to know that I love their name(s).
-
Do you honestly expect them to make 30+ brand new challenges for every tome? This game has pretty limited mechanics you know.
-
It actually favours the person with better connection to the server, this is not a killer vs survivor issue
-
If we gave his knives hit validation sure, I'd go insane getting hit around corners AND through solid objects basekit
-

Apparently dead hard in infancy didn't according to Mandy.
"survivors were hit through Dead Hard and were exhausted on the ground,"
And if all survs run dead hard then yes it does prevent use of their power for a period of time.
Or, get this, you could just use your power again a few seconds later, and down the already injured survivor.
-
I think a lot of people here are forgetting that Haddonfield is THE #1 most complained about map balance-wise. I'm sure the devs will have made sure to take on all that feedback.
-
Idk what was going through your head when you thought it was a good idea to call Soul Guard unbalanced.

Bubba doesn't care about your skin color. He go after every colors of the rainbow. I swear it like Myers in the new Halloween movie cause apparently people think he homophobic due to killing a queer character.
Trust me, not a single gay person thought that about the new Halloween, people like to lie about things in order to make minorities seem entitled and overly sensitive, despite that rarely being the case.

Tell me you don't understand why Bubba's masks were removed without telling me you don't understand why Bubba's masks were removed.

so why would BHVR do that? seems like a waste of time.
Because it would make spending $15 on a skin a little bit more appealing? By your logic, the recent voice changes for Lisa and Cybil must have also been a waste of time, but people seemed pretty happy that they were added, so I don't see any reason to be against adding prestige options for legendary skins.
-
@Yatol said:
you can just buy the skin, how is a "prestige" going to change anything?
??? My post is literally just suggesting that if you buy a legendary skin, it would be nice to also have a prestige variant of the same skin. Don't see how else you could take it.
