I mean... survivors actually demanded that for stridor so, yeah.
Because it made Spirit literally uncounterable?? She didn't always have directional phasing sounds remember??

Absolutely

Not. At. All.

still not really good to justify being stun for 5 seconds because game is poorly optimized to have fluent animations without constant freezes. Legion already have the most downsides in the game for no reason. Actually buffing him instead of adding a lame gimmick is what he need
He is objectively stronger than he was before, how is that not a buff?

Yeah because it's actually balanced now and not BROKEN in favor of survivors.
I would hardly say it's balanced, maps like Coal tower are balanced, decent strength loops that can be played well by both roles spread evenly throughout the map, exactly what new Haddonfield doesn't have.
-
To be fair, pallet loops are few and far between, and most of them aren't all that safe. It isn't as bad as a map like Shelter Woods but I highly doubt you'll ever see a survivor bring a Strode Realty Key anymore.

Dinah is getting sick (both literally and figuratively) of homophobes

The only problem was recovery regression which already got removed. It seems fine now and I don’t see why it would be nerfed further.
They might do something to try and improve its interaction with perks like Resurgence or Solidarity but other than that I highly doubt it'll ever get nerfed.

I only have eyes for Jeff so I don't really get the opportunity to comment that kind of stuff all too often

It's the worst macmillan map imo. For some reason my friends don't really mind it that much but I absolutely can't stand it. I already dislike that kind of map structure in general (where there's two sides that kinda naturally split the map in half) but the amount of tiles that can be chained together in the center is ridiculous. I don't have fun on that map on either side.
Shelter Woods is typing...

Imagine a perk that made grunts of pain omnidirectional, that would be crazy.
-
A lot of people not mentioning that his projectile hitboxes are somehow even worse than Huntress's hitboxes were before dedicated servers. I cannot count the amount of times the final knife has hit me through a wall or around a corner, it's so dumb.

Remove SWF or give them their own mode, and only then the game can be balanced.
Or...we buff solo and then buff killer. Removing SWF would make killers like Nurse or Blight practically unbeatable.
-
From what I can tell, this usually happens if you are too close to something that has collision, don't know why that's the case, the devs could probably quite easily make it so dropping the survivor just moves you away from the collision zone.

(chuckling to myself knowing that she can be Lightburned while charging her blink), sigh... no.
1) You need a flashlight to do that, one of the weakest items in the game.
2) It stuns her for about 1/4 of a second, this is hardly a reasonable counterpoint to OP's complaint.

I hope the same applies to survs that cry about bleeding to then right
What exactly can a survivor do? Just sit there for 4 minutes? As opposed to the killer's 2 minutes, which can be further shortened by just pushing survivors out?

I don't miss it one bit

Maybe now people will stop needlessly complaining about getting matched against 4 iri grade survivors as a silver grade killer.
-
People using survivors doing gens fast as an excuse for slugging...at 5 gens. OP isn't complaining about slugging at mid/late game, they're complaining about killers that seem to be aiming for a 4 hook 4k when not a single gen has been completed.

A killer manually going to a totem across the map to re-light their hex is not the same as it happening automatically the moment their hex is cleansed. Do you see a problem with this?
I have a problem with people comparing hexes to boons at all. Take Ruin for instance, a generator regressing at 200% the normal regresdion rate automatically whenever a gen isn't being worked on cannot be compared to a perk that makes your recovery rate 200% or gives you a 2% haste bonus. CoH is an outlier, every other boon perk is too situational to really be considered any use in an average match, boons dint need nerfed, CoH does.

So just make old Undying base kit? Great idea! /s

I’ve been seeing this request a lot recently, and just yesterday remembered that Deathslinger’s gun isn’t considered a special attack. Spirit coming out of phase isn’t either. So what is this unjust call for Nurse’s blink attacks to not be compatible with a host of perks? Also, you realize it’s next to impossible for her to get a basic attack if you do this, right? She can’t just walk up and hit a survivor like any other killer can. So we can stop this ‘special attack’ nonsense already.
Are we also going to remove Blight’s rush tokens if stunned, or pause their recharge? Not let Spirit phase?
Edit: Hag’s phantasm attacks are also basic attacks.
I also think that Deathslinger's attack should be a special attack. I don't think Hag or Spirit's attacks warrant being special attacks. You also cannot compare rush tokens to blink tokens, rushes do not allow the killer to phase through pallets or walls though do they?
At the end of the day, a lot of Nurse players seem to want to end the game as quickly as possible using game stall and exposure perks, a killer that has the ability to completely ignore looping, a game mechanic that the game is being balanced around, should not be able to one hit survivors as easily as the Nurse currently can, her design is completely outdated and I'm fed up of the rhetoric that if a player has sunken enough time into one killer that they should be able to just stomp any team that they they matched against.
-
Add-on rework
Make her blink attacks special attacks
Stunning the Nurse in any way should remove her blink charges, and they should only start recharging after the stun has completely finished.
-
People have been saying this about her since release though
-
Seeing as new characters just add on to an already monumental grind, I'd be happy with more maps in the future.

I actually like Midwich as a killer, it’s one of my favorite maps. 🙂
Probably because it's arguably the best map for killer, it's the smallest map in the game and has the highest kill rate.
-
I completely agree that map offerings need changed. However, I do not agree that it is only a problem for killers. It is by no means uncommon for killers to also bring completely busted maps in order to try and get an easy win.

i don't get why this is not a thing tbh, i know how killers perks have a give and a take.
bloons should give killer something in return giving survs buffs,
marks should give killer no terror radios and the healing should yes give movement speed buff for killer like clowns yellow gas.
survs just have a massive advantage with no downsides.
Do survivors get a buff when killers run hexes?
-
Why on earth would you ever want to play against good survivors as a killer you aren't used to?

Made the spirit can pass through pallet and wall , when she phase and show all survivors aura.

Christ survivors love to complain about everything.
Yeah because God forbid the community finds a problem with the only killer that can clip through walls being able to have easy access to insta down perks as well.

I'd rather him just get a rework, I don't know why the devs thought AI would be a good idea for a killer power.

For the love of God. Can we please stop with this misconception that nurse ignores EVERY survivor defense ? Because she does not
What defences do survivors have then? Windows and pallets are useless, lockers only delay a hit by a couple of seconds, and using LOS blockers is a complete coin flip.
-
When there's so much difference in strength between specific killers and perks? Probably not.

I mean a SWF who know how to use maps are no where near as deadly as a SWF who know how to use flashlights. Flashlights are only easy to counter if the team isn't coordinated
A team doesn't need to be uncoordinated for the killer to either bait the flashlight save or look at a wall.
-
Maps don't encourage survivors to waste time trying to get map saves do they? Flashlights have the POTENTIAL to be good items, but they're so easy to counter that they rarely ever live up to that potential.
-
Nurse just ignores every survivor defence. Blight just has busted add-ons and has countless "techs" which bypass the limitations that his power has.
-
@Tsulan said:
To be fair, most hex perks are mediocre at best and don´t really deserve to be hex perks. Especially with how bad totem spawns are. But the devs seem to be ok with how weak hex perks are in comparison to boons. So...
Do you mean how weak hexes are in comparison to CoH? Because every other boon is highly situational at best.
-
I cannot believe that there are still people who thought the Ruin change was a nerf.
-
@DeadBySunlight said:
I swear there were two hooks up there for a while! Then they disappeared once Sadako came out. Bring them back :(
They're probably be best not to, unless they added a second way up there. Adding hooks to the upper floor created a situation similar to basement, but the killer could camp the staircase and survivors could do nothing to rescue them.
-
@Bladeisbest said:
They can easily circumvent that. The SCREAM movies didn't PATENT the "killer calls them on the phone" scheme. xD
Why should they give him a power like that? Just because they CAN give him a power surrounding phones doesn't mean they want to.

Dbd players stop suggesting to nerf boons when the only strong one is CoH challenge (difficulty: IMPOSSIBLE)
-
DS doesn't give boldness points

Diversion, Sprint Burst, Iron Will, and Vigil. One if my favourites, amazing when it pays off

to be honest, it's strange that these people are still discussing balance
north america doesn't have a unified community, so there are a lot of strange opinions
this thread proved lots of survivors don't play killers and skilled killers quit playing killer
its funny to look at the numbers you suggested, very low mmr or survivor only played user could think
if you have an idea in the first place, it's normal to consider that survivor and killer time don't even have the same value
even if it's 10/10 seconds i think it would be fun to camp with a hook as survivor, whether my plan caught by killer or not
yes im solo player and think nurse or blight op, and other killers all underpowered when maps not favor them
if killer wants to kill faster than the entity phase, it usually can be done by op killers like nurse or blight, or survivors are monkeys
i hope this perk was real i don't use ub anymore and pick this perk instead
it will be essential for one survivor to camp near the hook to prevent every snowballs if killer "miscalculated" like ds,
just like most perks are better with nurses or blight, this perk is another scam tool for swf, not solos
playing killer is so uncharm, now only new players who do not have the talent to play other games or new users do the killer
and most of these novice killers not match the same rank as themselves, match with people who waited for 5-10 minutes with higher mmr
What are you talking about? We're literally just discussing a buff to Kinship.

Que the woke brigade.
He'd be an excellent addition but think there are other licences they'll go to over the creeper for various reasons. He hunts on fear, so he'd probably have a bunch of obsession perks and perhaps would get a bonus for hunting the obsession and tormenting them. Others have said that he could probably be able to fly directly upwards in order to get a birds eye view of the map, but obviously the flaw of that would be indoor maps.
Not wanting to give a child predator money = woke
