I'd actually love to see a change to skillchecks for console, nothing big, I just don't think you should have to press and let go of the button within the skillcheck to hit it. Makes hitting greats harder.
(I could be completely wrong but I'm pretty sure you just have to press the button on PC, doesn't matter when you let go, if I am wrong please feel free to correct me)

The fewer Tricksters, Hags, Trappers, and Twins I have to go against, the better

Solo is how the game is meant to be played. If you don't like it, play swf and face nurse all day
So....there'd be literally no difference other than I'd be able to talk to the people I'm playing with? Okay

Stop tryna get perks nerfed and just get better
Okay, I'll work on telepathically knowing when my solo queue teammates are about to go down.
-
I've had pretty much the opposite experience, I'm using an okay build (trying to get new vaulting in chase achievement and using a build to help) and aside from matches where I get a really bad map, I'm having a pretty good time, but as I said, he's pretty map dependent.
-
What killer has been nerfed within the past 4 days??
-
This is Leon we're talking about, he's not exactly known for his medical prowess.
-
I can say for a fact that on console it isn't, pretty sure it is literally impossible to hit great skillchecks with multiple tokens without Stakeout. Don't see why it's still coded that on console you have to press and let go of the button within the great skillcheck in order to get it.
-
When killers can quite often walk past 2 to 3 other hooks just to reach their scourge hook without Agitation, I don't think it'll provide much defence.
-
What? You actually expected BHVR to give survivors a tool to punish camping?
-
I agree under the pretence that my teammates actually have 2 brain cells to rub together, which isn't all too common.

Pretty positive Reassurance will still be a fairly strong perk, even when only 1 survivor runs it. 60 extra seconds on a hook is definitely impactful. It's just a shame it even got nerfed, because it really didn't need a nerf at all.
But for each time you use it, you'll probably waste about 30 seconds just going over to the hook and back to wherever you came from. It would literally be more efficient to just not even go over and use it. At least with the first iteration, someone standing by the hook and using it would actually buy their teammates time, rather than just stalling progress for killer AND survivor.
-
Agreed, perks that are only good when multiple survivors use them will never see use outside of SWF.

You missed my edit, but here is the math behind it.
The cooldown on a successful attack is 2.7 seconds and nurse fatigue is 3 if she uses both blinks. It also takes 1.5 seconds to pick up a survivor. So you have a total of 2.7 + 3 + 1.5 = 7.2 seconds to get away from her. In that time you can travel 4.0 m/s meaning you can get 28.8 meters away before starstruck kicks in.
You have to basically be standing next to her (remember lunge range is 6 meters) in order for you to not be able to escape the starstruck, when she downs someone.
Ah yes because Nurse is notorious for having an attack cooldown AND fatigue, it isn't like its only fatigue or anything. Survivors only get 4.5 seconds to run away that's 18 metres of distance. Less distance than a single base kit blink covers.

You do realize if you actually left the surface properly (break LOS and then separate immediately), he literally cannot reach you in time when he realizes?
Most Blights aren't going to hug tech around an obstacle where they can't see the survivor though are they?
-
Yeah he'll slide past you...if he doesn't attack...which he'll have no reason not to????
-
As a massive RE fan, I am under legal obligation to buy it
-
You usually just get a charm for buying the chapter and nothing else, I doubt it'll be like the AoT skins.
-
Can't wait for a match where its only me and some moron teammate left with 3 gens still to do, I try to kill myself so they can get hatch and then they use reassurance to stop me because their ego is so fragile.
-
Do I like to what now?? 😳😳
-
Hot take but I absolutely hate trap killers, having to just make a guess whether or not an area is safe to go to is not fun at all. I prefer reactionary gameplay rather than just hope the killer hasn't been somewhere yet.
-
Don't think this would be reportable seeing as RPD pretty much has 5 different paths to get from any point A to any point B
-
I mean, you could just use the TV, that way she's forced to hit/down you?
-
Birkin appeared in one game and isn't as well known as a character than Wesker though.
-
Still feel as though overhauling it and making a Raccoon City map would have been the better choice. Just cutting the map in half feels kind of eh.
-
Had an Oni miss 3 attacks in a row while I was injured, and running to the exit gate last night, no pallets or windows used, no haste on my part, he somehow just managed to completely miss 3 easy attacks in a row. Heart was racing.

That's not real dialogue, right?
...right?
Nah that's just been a running joke in the community for a while, stems from the fact that Resident Evil is actually a super random, nonsensical title if you think about it.

Calm Spirit removes an entire killer tracking method for the entire game. It absolutely deserves to have a downside added to it.
I know you aren't claiming that Calm Spirit would be too strong without the debuff
-
Can we have 1 match without 3/4 stacked slowdown perks?
-
Honestly I feel as though the base attack cooldown should be reverted, the reduced speed boost was probably enough on its own.

"so people just embrace the Go Next mentality if the odds are not in your favor."
This is what I don't understand. Do these same people throw the chessboard across the room if the "odds are not in their favor"?
Maybe compare it to hockey next time.

@TheArbiter said:
you only have a .5 second window on it now, so you have to be good at timing and parrying
I'm aware that it only last .5 seconds, but I'll press the button just as the killer starts swinging and it won't activate, I just end up going down as you would before DH validation was implemented, in that there's no animation of you falling, you just slam to the floor.
-
I'm so sorry that I play games to have fun rather than win, if I want to mess about and have a fun time with survivors, I will. You can't tell anyone what they should/shouldn't do in a game like this.
-
I'll do whatever I want thank you very much
-
Probably a bug, don't see why they'd purposefully get rid of it
-
@Ryuhi said:
10 extra seconds doesnt automatically mean an extra 50 seconds, sometimes it just means a group of up to 3 pop 10 seconds later. They also nerfed the perks people were using to find new targets away from the hook quickly, so it was bound to happen.
That is still an accumulative 50 seconds is it not?
-
4 stack slowdown for killer
No idea for survivor seeing as most matches seem to end in a 4k now
-
Give me the grapple gun so I can leave the trial at 5 gens
-
@InvadeGames said:
gens arent getting done because survs dont know how to play without DH. I dont run slowdown usually on killers and when i do its normally something basic like jolt. Im winning many games at 4 gens left to go because survs have no idea how to do chases without DH to save them.
Or...gens aren't getting done because the devs made gens take longer? And also buffed quite a few regression perks. Shockingly enough, Dead Hard had pretty much nothing to do with gen speed.

Never said that. I play solo q and I'm doing just fine, thank you. What's childish is uninstalling your game because you're unhappy with the game changes.
How so? If people don't like the game anymore, it's their choice, the most recent update has SIGNIFICANTLY altered the game's dynamic. People are allowed to no longer like the game and therefore are allowed to leave, they don't HAVE to play it just because you're happy with the changes.

Prestige rework, nothing else

For the people who think Legion is somehow different now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_OuX6738kM
And for people who need help because they've never played against a Legion before.
Nobody thinks Legion is different, the basekit of every killer is. A gen with 4 stacks of Thana before the update would have taken 100 seconds to complete, now it takes over 115 seconds, an additional 15 seconds on a gen is pretty big for killers, would you not think? And don't forget that adds up 4 additional times, so an extra 75 seconds in total. An extra 125 seconds if the killer wasn't running Thana.
Attack cooldowns, injury speed boosts, and pallet breaking speeds have also been reduced meaning shorter chases, and therefore less downtime for the other survivors to do gens, subsequently meaning that the killer gets back to pressuring gens sooner.
Combine all this with Legion's mind numbingly boring mend mechanic and lo and behold, gens become nearly impossible to do for Solo Queue players!!
Stop acting as though this update didn't change anything regarding slowdown or that people are overreacting when builds like this were already complained about before this update dropped.

I dunno, how many “survivors are ruined forever” threads am I going to see posted?
And how many of them have been made by 1 person??
-
@MilManson said:
But if you down someone on the other side of the map with honing stone they'll be picked up and healed before you even get over there.
That's 2 people not doing gens

How many of these "um actually this update was good 🤓🤓" threads are you going to make? We get it, you don't play solo survivor, no need to keep telling us.

now you know how killer felt before this update
Killer was nowhere near as bad as solo queue is now. Solo queue , on average, was worse than killer BEFORE this update, let alone after it.

I have to disagree, for me gen speeds are barley visible, OTR is really strong. It's far from unplayable
Someone evidently hasn't had the misfortune of having to play against a stacked slowdown Legion 4 matches in a row

I think most players would be understanding
-
Nothing anymore really, slap on Thanataphobia, Dying Light, and any other 2 slowdown perks, along with mural sketch and never sleep pills and enjoy your 20 minute match that you pretty much cannot lose.
-
Yeah, it's useless on the killers that don't need it
