Omg never mind I read the requirements wrong 😳😳
-
Or, hear me out, we could rework it so that it has an effect that is appealing to more than 1/26 of the killer roster.
-
I think people get stress and difficulty mixed up, I'd say in terms of difficulty, both sides are pretty equal (excluding SWF which is rather easy due to communication) but stress wise, killer is worse off, however solo queue can definitely be stressful to say the least.

Occasional scuffed hits through pallets/dead hard were less of an issue than the false hits killers are dealing with now.
Occasional? It was like half of them
-
The only add-on nerf Spirit needs is the Dried Cherry Blossom, other than that, she's completely fine.

Ahhh yes, something that doesn't realistically happen basically ever. Let's use that as a reasonable counter point.
To imply that killers do not use busted map offerings in order to gain a competitive advantage but survivors do is silly. There are maps that are too strong for both sides and both sides use their offerings regardless of whether or not the match will be fun or fair for the other side.
-
@Blueberry said:
No. Maps are an interesting part of the game.
What we need though is a more balanced offering. IE if a survivor throws a Haddonfield but the killer throws a Glenvale, then Glenvale should always win. There should be more weight attached to the killers offering when the survivors have the ability to throw multiple. It's a 1v4 and the offering weight should be treated as such.
Ahhh yes, let's make sure that the Infectious Fright Nurse is guaranteed her Midwich offering, that sounds fair.

Nothing

For some reason, I feel as though this would have happened even without the existence of boon perks, you can't run 5 hexes and somehow expect them to miraculously stay up all game. The more hexes you run, the more survivors are going to try and find them.
-
They don't seem to be releasing revoloured pieces that aren't part of a full outfit.
-
I think Jonathan and Claire have the best screams
-
Okay, but only if we make it so that survivors don't need to bless the totem, it is done automatically, their effects are map-wide, and it takes the killer 14 seconds to break. Oh, and survivors should also be able to interrupt the killer from breaking it.
Boon effects are hardly comparable to those of hexes, their fundamentals are completely different, treating them the exact same as hexes would be silly.

One buff to the killer side in how many patches doesn't count as they love us all that much. I could read a list of the buffs and nerfs that both sides have and it will read very very one sided.
Trust me, it really won't. You obviously don't know how bad the game was for killer on release.

I don't think Head On needs to be changed in that way at all. It's not meant to be a free pallet stun for your teammates to use while they're being chased... it's simply a niche exhaustion perk for Solo Queue that is fun to use and strong when you pull it off.
The last thing we need is for Solo Queue to be buffed to the level of SWF in any way, shape or form. And I mostly play solo queue Survivor! We need SWF to be brought down close to the level of Solo Queue if that is possible.
(Posted twice, don't know why)

That would only be possible by buffing killers which we know BHVR sure as heck does their best not too.
Have you seen the upcoming patch? Please don't make out that the devs hate killers when the game's updates clearly prove that to be entirely false.

There is literally no feasible way to nerf SWF without having any knock on effects on solo queue players. The only way to balance this game would be to buff solo queue and then buff killers accordingly.

You do realise that it isn't called an asymmetrical game because one side is supposed to be stronger than the other, right? Both sides are supposed to be equal in strength despite being different in number.
Side note: To imply that you don't need to stress out in order to win as survivor is naive, it isn't exactly fun to be forced to rely on your teammates in order to win. Also, implying that the killer's skill should be the only thing that matters shows an astonishing amount of bias, everyone's input should matter in a match, unless you actually do just want easy 4Ks every match, in which case, be prepared for people to never play survivor.
-
I'm praying it gets reworked one day, items shouldn't be completely useless without add-ons

Some unlinked jeans for Cheryl

That would literally just make him a worse Hillbilly

That's just the tip of the icebeeg, there are many other things survivor are mentioning on fb on forums, twitter etc. But when god forbid killers say what they don't liek or what they want we get sent to the chopping block. Stakes and torches are brought out
So killers asking for buffs are "sent to the chopping block"? Is that why this next patch has a significant number of killer buffs in it? Stop pushing the narrative that either side is hard done by, because they aren't.

Never understood why people consider this to be a problem.
It seems to me that some people like to feel more special than others. I got cosmetics from rifts that I paid for before and I am more than happy that people who miss them can get them eventually.
Heck I wouldn't mind if they become completely free which would probably anger more people. Not me. I choose to pay for something, don't care what happens after.
I was the exact same when the event cosmetics were given to everyone. If other people get to enjoy Huntress's hound mask and I don't lose my mine, I'm more than happy for them to have it.
-
My advice would be: choose a different killer, Blight is one of the many killers that were developed without console in mind.
-
I'd say it's perfectly balanced as is

I just love RE, that's why

Try playing Billy on the game map
1 or 2 killers performing poorly on indoor maps does not change the fact that most indoor maps are bad for survivors as a whole. What about killers such as Wraith, Ghostface, Michael, and Pig on a map like Léry's?
-
Literally means the map has the min. number of pallets.
-
As others have said, this sounds like it's being caused by some form of anxiety, not the game itself.
-
Personally, I believe you should farm for at least a few minutes, no need to let everyone escape, just try and make it so that the match doesn't end up awarding the survivors less than 10k points each.
-
Indoor maps would be even worse than they already are for survivor.

Its called bleeding out, only takes a a few minutes.
It takes 4 minutes, that's a long time of doing literally nothing in a videogame, you know, the things that are meant to be interactive and fun?
-
Boldness points are weird, sometimes you get them, sometimes you don't. It doesn't have anything to do with Head On.

Pig nerf, Deathslinger nerf, Trapper buff and spirit nerf are not enough to fix them, Boon totems are op. Yeah im worried about this patch
At least Plague is strong now!
Pig nerf? Where did she get nerfed?

Sure, just let Spirit see survivors while she’s phasing too!
You mean like with scratchmarks and grass?
-
Literally, I've had the same map 3 times in a row many times recently, it's pretty annoying, even if it's a good map for the role that I'm playing.
-
Regarding your first issue, it isn't survivor sided at all, it's broken for both sides.
-
@Baby_Victor said:
Oh man these challenges seem challenging, I’m not even sure why people would challenge them. Certainly couldn’t be for the challenge though. Guess we can only think this over slowly, as challenging as that challenge seems.
When each rift is a time limited event, and challenges are the main method of earning fragments, challenges should not be as difficult as some of them are, especially with how rng reliant this game can be.
-
If we can add a boon version of Devour Hope where survivors can kill the killer with a pallet and end the game, then sure. See how the logic of "If they have X then I should have X too" doesn't work in a game like this?
-
Tbh I'm shocked that neither Rusty Shackles nor mint rag were changed, they're pretty poorly designed imo.
(Edit: added mint rag, because for some reason it got deleted from the post??)
-
Where did they say that they want to keep the boon totems the same? That's why they're in the PTB, so they can be tested, and if necessary, changed.
-
This just adds unnecessary complication, just make it so you can't bless hex totems, and either give boon perks a token system, or a cooldown once they have been snuffed out.

everyones adons got buffed and nerfed. Very minimal buffs on both killers. They butchered slinger. they butchered spirit. Shall I go on? The flow of the game still sucks. no matter who they buff
Spirit literally works the exact same, but survivors can hear what direction she is, and she still moves at nearly double the speed of survivors, if you think that her changes affect her to the point that she's been "butchered", maybe you just aren't very good with Spirit.
-
When will people realise that OP just means "too strong" and not "unbeatable"? I highly doubt one add-on nerf and a 1/4 second decrease on the duration of his speed boost is going to be that impactful.
-
They probably wanted to find a way to give survivors new, strong perks, without the perk just having some form of cooldown. However I believe the the current iteration of boon perks is too forgiving, I believe you should either have a cooldown on blessing, or boon perks should be like Appraisal, where the perks have tokens, and each time you bless a totem, a token is consumed. Once you have no tokens left, you cannot bless for the remainder of the match.
I also think that it's silly to allow survivors to bless a hex totem, you should only be able to cleanse hexes.
-
Her last name is Scottish, meaning "red" so she has Scottish heritage at least.
-
Well tbh the gear add-ons were nuts, if you unfortunate to get a large map, you'd be lucky to search 3 boxes, let alone all 4.
-
It is on any map that isn't indoors, phantasm traps are mear impossible to see on most maps. Not to mention the fact that a lot of Hag players use a macro to instantly teleport to their traps.
-
The fact that they didn't just rework his mori add-ons just baffles me. Completely destroying altruism for survivors is just stupid.
-
Honestly I don't think I could choose a favourite change, this patch is all good in my eyes (so far anyway, I wouldn't put it past BHVR to somehow break something again)
