Agreed, killers shouldn't be able to render a pallet, window, or objective unusable during chases. Trapper is a crutch killer.
-
Good killers don't need NOED.
The issue with NOED is that it's a genuinely unfair perk. It's not broken, it's just braindead. Doing bones is a waste of time when I could be holding M1 on gens instead. Plus, they might not even have it.
-
From most to least in terms of priority:
- Daddy Myers got STBFL in his kit, extremely fun and very powerful perk. I'd get his STBFL first. Kinda fun to play as but gets boring after a while.
- Tricky has Starstruck, a good instadown perk, and No Way Out, a decent endgame slowdown perk. Very fun killer IMO but it's based on preference only, from what I've seen there's more people that don't enjoy him than those who enjoy him.
- If you want you can finish Billy to get his Tinkerer.
- Blight is a hard killer to pick up and tbh his only good perk is Undying which requires another hex perk to make use out of it. He is very fun once you learn him, however.
- And finally, all of Freddy's perks are pretty garbo, Blood Warden is okay though. Only level him if you wanna play him, he can be kinda fun.
-
Unfortunately, they don't have plans on doing that.

How in any way would that get them into legal trouble? It's still Leon and Jill, nothing about their image changes, we're not talking Chris on Leon's body or Jill with Claire's jacket. Even then, OTHER games that Capcom has partnered with were allowed FREE customization with the clothes of DIFFERENT characters (not even just the same ones). So tell me, how is it in any way logical or fair that they forcefully stole a jacket and tube top that I bought with my own money that does NOTHING to break the "integrity of the character". Answer? It isn't, it's clear that they are full of #########, there's no way that this is skirting the lines of copyright at all, it's just removing something that didn't need to be removed.
Dude... I can't come up with the reasoning here, you're just overreacting. This tweet literally explains it: https://twitter.com/DeadByBHVR/status/1407427510359502848

I don't care about the cells, I want my jacket and skirt back.
Well as I said I'm afraid you aren't getting your stuff back. They would face legal consequences, and there's nothing they can do about it.
They weren't even meant to be sets, so accept that and be grateful that they cared enough about giving your cells refunded.
I don't agree with them reselling the default head for an extra 360 aurics, but you should get the point.

What an absolute gamer Hag.
-
They were meant to be sets. I'm afraid you weren't supposed to get them individually. And they can't give the pieces back to you anyway, it would result in legal issues on BHVR's end.
Just chillax man, they made a mistake for not making it a set. If it started as a set, none of this would have had to happen (other than the heavy complaints about the cosmetic glitch being patched). Be grateful you got the cells back.
-
Could just be a rumor. If it's true then I don't know what the hell to say, other than please no.

My favorite add-on overall is Compound Thirty-Three, for the Blight. It's so damn fun and works well with other add-ons. Combine it with Compound Twenty-One and you're able to see the auras of close-by survivors affected by the hindered status effect. Combine it with the meme add-on Shredded Notes, destroy a pallet with a bump, and you get your power back quickly.
My second favorite is LoPro Chains, for the Hillbilly. Extremely creative and fun add-on.
-
Body is 1 character too short.
-
Wait, so you're playing smart?
Based.
-
DBD: Demi, Monto, No0b3, OhTofu, Scott Jund, and obviously the infamous Otzdarva.
Non-DBD: Dunkey, Twomad, and jschlatt.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around bitter murmur it just seems so trash to me.
Trust me, it's average on other killers but Huntress does really well with it. It allows you to do long-range shots more consistently, and it's less predictable than BBQ. (You can use both BBQ and Bitter Murmur tho)

What's funny is I am a killer rank 4 using this build.
- BBQ
- Beast of Prey
- Thrill of the Hunt
- Distressing
xD And I know this build is horrible.
Super mega ultra meta bloodpoint farming build.

Legion is just an m1 killer with a free first hit. And he has a normal terror radius. All you need to do to counter clown is drop the pallet early and 90% of the time he can't do anything about it. Trickster at the very least will eventually down you with his power. Usually faster than legion or clown.
You can use predrop to your advantage. It wastes pallets pretty well. Also, Clown can play around predropped pallets if you know how to do so.

I disagree with OP, but who cares about the grammar of some random dude you don't even know? It's still very readable. Also, this ain't English class.

I don't play Huntress, but from what I've heard, Bitter Murmur is an excellent perk on her. It's not a teachable perk so you should find it quite easily, or you might already have it.
Don't use Beast of Prey oh god that perk is horrible.
-
The issue is that they promised us more effort in their events, yet they literally recycled everything from last year and expected us to be happy.
-
Recycled from last year.
Depression...
-
If you struggle as Nemesis then I'm sorry but... you're not good at him. Anti-loop, zoning, auto map pressure, etc... He's a decent killer, no way in hell the worst.
He's not for everyone, so if you don't like playing him then you aren't forced to.

But yeah, people should not DC. But they will do that, so I dont bother that much anymore.
Do you really think they intend to do that on purpose?
People can play who they want, whether they enjoy it or not.
-
Oh my lawd that's awesome.
Can't wait for Jonathan, Lisa, and Cybil!
And maybe someday if possible, we'll see the killer legendary skins as portraits and profile pictures. I hope.

Myers and Wraith are pretty underpowered my guy...
Ofc both can be busted with purple add-ons, but they're pretty weak. Myers needs a rework, and Wraith needs an add-on pass.
If you truly think about it, no killer takes zero skill. Every killer takes skill in my heart.

It doesn't really matter what killer it would be, but the survivor would HAVE to be Shaggy--
and one of his perks has to be hopping into a locker and randomly popping out of another locker.
That's... clever as hell.
And also, a survivor with mobility power!

Let's just say... it was for the right reason. I'm gonna try and improve myself because the next time I get warned I'll get banned for a month, and the final warning will be my perma ban.
Thanks though.

It's a license rights issue.
DBD is beholden to portray licensed characters in a way that's dictated by the owner of those characters. If the party that owns a licensed character says "they have to look like this", DBD is legally obligated to respect those terms. As part of that obligation they're likely required to do what they can to discourage people from circumventing this.
As such, BHVR probably has a single all-inclusive restriction on the ability to mix and match pieces from different character models to prevent such a thing from happening, rather than programming separate, individual restrictions for every character in the game (licensed or not). The answer, if they want to, is to individualize the ability to swap the character model pieces for unlicensed characters while keeping the restriction in place for the licensed ones. It's probably easier for them to just have the single all-inclusive restriction, and they probably figure that there's no benefit to them (BHVR) for changing that anyway.
I know that no one likes this, but it's a serious legal obligation that they have agreed to and are bound to enforce, not just a fun little thing that they wanted to take away because they're jerks with mixed-up priorities.
Exactly. People are acting like BHVR did this because they're evilllll but they're just trying to avoid conflict.

Oh boi.
I'd probably add Bamboozle somehow since it makes vaulting faster, lol.
-
MEGA BRAIN COUNTERPLAY!
Oh sorry, I ruined the Spirit chain. Whoopsies.
-
It's disappointing but it was probably necessary due to legal issues that could have resulted with Capcom.
The solution to this? Make weapons from sets unlinked, unlink non-licensed sets that CLEARLY work fine with other cosmetics (Why is Yun-Jin's outfit linked????), as proven in the Reddit post, and that's about it.
-
less goooooo

The idea with fire up is its supposed to make the game harder on the survivors as the game ends, which isnt an awful concept at all imo. Really fire up needs a buff
Yeah... I changed my mind, I was really overthinking it, sorry.
You're right, I think Fire Up is a nice concept and deserves a buff.

In general I agree, but I do kinda want BT's endurance to remove collision so there's no bodyblocking. If I catch a survivor going for a rescue and target them, it feels really bad that I get punished for -not- tunnelling.
The only change I want to BT, and it'll be perfect.

I have seen a streamer that tries to use it as Twins to make people think they switched character. Or as was mentioned already with Dragons Grip. Or as Nurse paired with Noed behind an Exit Gate.
in the end, it is an stays a Meme perk and nothing more though.
Biggest brain Twins of all time tbh.
-
Insidious and fun in the same sentence?
Jk jk, Insidious is unironically a fun perk if you can get it to work, it's mainly just a meme tho.
-
Yeah, it took me an hour to get 4 games done. I got the daily done tho.
-
Head On is a decent and REALLY fun perk and takes skill to use, and Rancor allows you to instadown and kill your obsession in the endgame, which is very situational but it's an okay perk. Also, I'm All Ears ain't useless, it's a decent chase perk, and Blood Pact is an okay perk.
-
It should either:
Block windows 24/32m of the killer's terror radius
OR
Block all the windows in the map.
Honestly, perks shouldn't even reward you for having a gen getting done, including Fire Up. Coup de Grace and Bitter Murmur are different scenarios though.
-
Okay? So do you want pity, or...?

Prepare for the hate train.
"FNAF is a kids game guys it shouldn't be added!" It really isn't.

Gonna have to say Macmillan.
Shelter Woods is overall his best map, lots of areas to bump in, an open area with trees, and loops that are easy to control as Blight.
Coal Tower is a solid map for him due to its size and lack of structures other than the coal tower itself and the shack, in which both can be controlled by Blight. Same applies to Ironworks.
Groaning Storehouse's super loop in the storehouse, the most powerful loop in that map, can be stopped by Blight.
And finally, Suffo Pit, probably his worst in Macmillan. Not a bad map for him though.
Autohaven is also a really solid realm for Blight.
Worst map for Blight? Rotten Fields. My god, Rotten Fields might be one of the best maps for Billy, but it's one of the worst for Blight. It's hard to see, the open area doesn't have much to bump around in other than generators and hooks, which is the sole opposite of Shelter Woods. At least in Lery's you can kinda handle things, even if that map is abysmal for Blight. The other Coldwind maps are pretty good for him though.
However, the worst realm goes to Backwater Swamp.
He kinda struggles in the Grim Pantry's main building and loops in general, and Pale Rose would be a decent map if it weren't for Swamp's awful collision in general.

Well, that's unfortunate, but at least Blight is solid enough that a 4th perk isn't necessary to do decent with him.
Also, yes. I was saying out the gate how crazy Blight was gonna be, but NOBODY believed me.
Look where we're at now, huh?
Yep. Although PTB Blight was terrible (not really terrible, just weaker than most killers), Blight post-PTB is really powerful.
After my hiatus I went back to DBD and practiced Blight in October. I got hooked into playing him and realized he's really fun to play as and actually a solid killer.

BBQ is highly potent on Blight, as I've already said, as is Pop paired with Oppression.
I'd get rid of Shadowborn, myself, but I don't like using it so I don't get addicted to it to begin with.
Unfortunately Shadowborn is a necessity on my Blight, I'm a high FOV gamer and Blight is pretty damn good with high FOV in the same way Nurse and Huntress are.
But yeah I think Blight is the best user of BBQ honestly. Blight is already a solid bloodpoint farmer and his synergy with that perk is INSANE.
