Moris shouldnt of been nerfed
They were iredecent for a reason. And it's not like there were used that often. Now there usless.

shouldn't have*
They should be deleted. Games already killer sided and gives them option to take entire game hostage.
They were iridescent so they didn't need a nerf? What a ridiculous argument.
Just because something is of a high rarity, doesn't justify said thing being absolutely game-breaking. Besides, the Devs said in the anniversary stream that Moris are going to be reworked again to incorporate them into regular gameplay instead of being an offering.
B8
Ultra rare= Ultra fair
Right next to old BNP
They absolutely deserved the nerf they got.
I don't keep up with a lot of stuff.... what was the mori nerf?
Iredecent things are supposed to be good. Addons are iredecent and there good, the skeleton key is iri and it's good. Iredecent things are supposed to be good in the game. Moris are no longer good.
Don't be that guy
Oh yeah I heard about that
The... guy that... spells correctly?
You do realize your odds of getting an ebony mori are greater than getting an ivory one, right?
Also, they promoted ######### gameplay and needed to get nerfed.
More like the guy that corrects a minor error that didn't cause any confusion what so ever and that's it... nothing else to add to the conversation but that.
It's a forum, not a dissertation.
No, they definitely should have been nerfed.
I agree that moris in their current state are pretty worthless and not worth their price tag, but old moris were broken as hell. They let you remove a survivor from the game by catching them once and camping their hook. As soon as anyone unhooked them, you knocked them straight back down, bypassed DS/flashlights/any team attempt to save them besides Borrowed Time (which you could just wait out, or catch up to them and hit them again), and killed them. You now have a 3-man game at 4-5 gens.
Let's not pretend this wasn't how basically every game with an ebony mori went. It was extremely unfair and the game was not balanced around each survivor having just 2 hook states instead of 3. It'd be like if the survivors could bring an offering that lowered the number of gens that needed to be completed in a match. (So basically old BNP... or keys, but honestly, old moris were worse than keys for truncating a game. Point is, though, all of this stuff is/was broken and needs to go.)
No, the dude that is the grammar police on a dbd forum.
Did you know what OP meant? No need to correct them if you did.
You want to write your threads in perfect English, feel free. But why reply to a thread only to correct grammar? That contributes nothing to the discussion and , really, only insults someone. Someone who is probably posting in haste or using the forums for fun discussions and not an English exam.
I’m sorry but I have to kind of disagree with you on that the game is killer sided. The game can yes be killer sided at lower ranks and maybe solo but it’s not killer sided at higher rank swf.
Its close to impossible for the killer to hold the game hostage unless the survivor help the killer. Survivor on the other can hold the game hostage easy
People like you are the reason the word "literally" doesn't mean anything anymore.
Also, if you are insulted by a correction in grammar, that's your deal. Take responsibility for your own emotions.
Something being "rare" does not mean it cannot be nerfed.
You notice that I wrote "rare" - because the Iridescent Mori was actually the most common Mori since there were only 3 Iridescent Items for Killers to get in the Bloodwebs. And for those, who did not even have Iridescent Add Ons (or only one of them), a Ebony Mori was even more common.
I bet uve won millions of spelling competitions in your life
You could mori survivors after being hooked once, which was toxic and made the game a breeze for the killer
I'm not talking about rarity tho. I'm just saying how all iri things are supposed to make your chances at winning much much better.
Be that guy
I disagree with OP, but who cares about the grammar of some random dude you don't even know? It's still very readable. Also, this ain't English class.
They should have done it at the same time as keys though. Meanwhile keys stay the same 8 months later, and last patch they nerfed the one remaining counter to them so it doesn't counter them anymore. Somewhere in between that they added offerings that let you know exactly where the hatch will spawn.
Why does BNP do 50% of a gen with three people on it?
I don't agree. There's no reason to wait on a balance change, just because another balance issue exist in the game. It's okay to nerf one before another.
Ultra rare hardly means that it is rare. They deserved the nerf they got because they could end games at the very start, unlike keys. Keys should also be nerfed but unfortunately BHVR hasn't brought it out yet.
It doesn't matter if they were "ultra rare", the fact that it took the fun out of games for a lot of people was enough for its nerf in the first place. That is like saying old insta heal syringes were balanced because they were also ultra rare.
Lol no its not
It would seem you are the one insulted and emotional. I was just pointing out not to anoint yourself the grammar police of the forums.
You must be so fun at partys.
I'm sorry, parties.
I enjoyed breaking out the red moris when a team of P3 survivors showed up. But yeah, they should have been nerfed. Same with brand new parts. I'm almost surprised they let Huntress' one shot run roughshod for so long
Are you really comparing 50% of a Gen (which is 10% of the Objective of the Survivor Side) with removing 25% of the Survivors early?
???
But it wasnt present in everygame???
50% is the normal rate with a single person it's 45% more with 3 people on a gen maybe even two.I just played a game that lasted 8 minutes. That's probably 45 seconds of chase much longer because, I never could get my full power and I, only got three hooks
So yeah I'm comparing the percentages of that.4 minutes total is the actual outcome if you cut the chases.
Yep, just looked it up. Have to hook a surv 2x now. I didn't even notice the change. So basically if a killer has a mori just let the survivor struggle then they cant be moried
Moris are fine now. Its a free third hook without having to worry about ds or flashlights, etc.
Now they need to just nerf keys so that they only work if one person is left in the trial.
They deserved it. Now for keys to be nerfed.
I dont even understand what you are talking about. You cannot compare Moris with BNPs, like, BNPs are so much weaker.
OLD BNPs which completed a full Gen - those were compareable to Moris. Should show you how long it took the Devs to nerf them.
I'm a survivor main through and through and I think they Nerfed mori's in the wrong way
Honestly I just think rarity should actully apply in bloodweb. So like keys are actully hard to get etc
SAMMME IM ALSO A SURCICOR MAIN THAY THINKS THAT TWINSIIIIEEES
Dang what did I just say
NOOOOOO.
They absolutely needed a nerf. Not the nerf they got, but a nerf nonetheless.
You're right, I absolutely loved being taken off my first hook and immediately being mori'd 2 seconds later.
Have you ever actually played killer? You have next to no chance of winning against a good team unless you play Nurse.
And yet before their change they were played all the time (killers that dump all their points into killers will have a lot of them) so they weren't that uncommon because of their rarity. The worst part though was working on a gen then looking up and seeing half your team dead already from the mori. I can't tell you how many matches this happened to me where the match felt like it just started and then suddenly everyone is dead from the red mori. They were too much. Their change was needed. They were basically another power for any killer to help end the match a lot sooner before the change. No offering should give them that much of an advantage.
You know how Moris require you to hook a survivor twice, then down them again?
Yeah, it didn't have the 'survivor must be on death hook' requirement.
I think it initially didn't require -any- hooks. You could just instakill your first down. It was nerfed once to require one hook, then nerfed again to require two.
It used to be free instawin, then it became a really ungodly powerful perk, now it is almost entirely cosmetic.
