Power Struggle doesn't need a buff, it's a pretty decent perk atm.
Off the Record can remove scratch marks to work as an anti-tunnel perk, I'd be down for that tbh.
-
All he needs is All-Seeing add-ons nerfed and that's about it.
His megalunge is exactly the same as it used to be, you just have 0.25 more seconds to do it, that's all.

I’m happy trickster is getting buffed I was right the whole time I knew he would be buffed. I’m kinda upset that trapper or Myers didn’t get a change
Yeah... I was expecting this update to be around Myers because of the Halloween relicense, but I suppose we'll get 'em next time.
At least they're focusing on game health at the moment. I think.
-
Kinda seems like they're focusing on health and model reworks for this mid-chapter. I really hope they'll focus on bugs as well.
I'm extremely happy Trickster got buffed but I was hoping for not just his buffs but some non-major balance changes to other killers.
Let's hope they don't disappoint us!
-
Extremely happy with these changes. They also buffed No Way Out so that's ######### awesome.
I don't understand the decay nerf but it's fine.

Pig is on my wishlist for killer reworks ^^ Her and Hag.
I still love her but you are right she needs those buffs.
I still find her fun to play regardless. I have a soft spot for her.
Yeah I feel bad for her, she deserves more love. Buff or even a rework, I'm fine with anything, as long as she doesn't get neglected.
She'll always have a place in my heart tho.

I consider Legion Z-Tier, honestly; he loses 50% of his charge if he does a normal attack, but normal attacks are the only way he can incap people.
His Deep Wounds is so quick to mend, that, 99% of the time, you DW 1 person, and they've mended before you hit person #2.
Deep wounds also pauses if a Survivor sprints. Sure; I have a wound that will make me bleed to death; it just somehow gets better if I sprint at top speed, instead of bleeding out faster.
It also pauses when being mended.
It basically pauses if Survivors do anything except stand in place. I'm surprised it does not pause while they work on gens.
He's just so terrible, and his power is the most backwards, useless power in the game. Even The Pig stalls games better than Legion, and she has limited beartraps!
Yeah I guess so, I mean Pig is definitely better than Legion, no doubt.
-
Surprised more people aren't saying Oni. He's a blast to play.
Nemesis is also really fun IMO.
As a former Pig main she's kinda boring tbh, ambush is only good in a few loops and her RBTs are her only redeeming quality. She's in desperate need of buffs and add-on reworks.
I'd go for Oni if you want plenty of fun, Nemesis if you want fun and perks, and Pig if you want a basic killer with decent perks.

I believe that character's name is 'Legion'? 😁
I mean Legion is bad but they're not that bad. I don't think any killer is lower than D-tier at the moment.
The only killer closest to F-tier last year was pre-rework Clown.
-
Trickster I think is getting buffed, and with the add-on description errors for Twins I'm gonna assume they're getting reworked.
Can't wait for the dev update!

Hey, welcome back!
I find the new Doc a lot more fun. With Status Blast you can track survivors in your terror radius. Oh and a menu theme and terror radius/chase theme!
Other than that he's kind of the same. Madness builds up for a survivor via shocking them, and from what it seems he's a lot more fun to play as IMO.
-
"Spirit is fine, just run Iron Will, No Mither, and Urban Evasion, then walk or crouch when she's phasing!"
The nerve of these people, I swear.
I'm with you on making solo queue fun.
-
Vanilla.
gets shot
-
Tbh we need a joke character, I don't mean a character who was meant to be serious, I mean a character who is abysmally weak to the point of being G-tier.
The lore and character design can be serious but ya get what I mean.
And I mean a character who is meant to be ironic.
-
Lovely. A recycled event with a slightly updated crown. Peak BHVR right there.
"We'll be prioritizing on our anniversary and blight events," Lies, just lies.
-
Poor Bubba =(
-
Welp, now I'm just disappointed.
It wasn't even that hard to do.
-
This is more of a nerf for Gunman and Knifeman. Tentacle Man is already pretty good in shack, so it's not a big deal. Thankfully, the patch was unintended for those two.
-
Yeah I remember that lol, it's a really good touch that they added to the map, genuinely scary to look at.

LUL. And I see your fan club is in here attacking me also....and it seems that my statement was impactful because you responded back. Anyway I won't be responding any further as you have a Holier than thou attitude that make me utterly want to vomit.
I read this in a British villain accent.
-
Yep, called it. We'll see how it goes.
Plus, we'll most likely see the dev update by next week.
-
Only issue I've had so far is the tonics not giving slowdown when hitting a survivor. It's kind of hard to remember not to hit survivors with the bottles, so although he's playable it's quite annoying to deal with it.
-
Reminder that they had to shrink Ridley in order for him to fit in with the other characters in SSBU.
-
I thought your intentions were to be as unagreeable as possible, not agreeable at times.
-
They had good intentions when doing so, but they were certainly worrying too much.
At least they cared about the players' experiences, hoping that it'd reduce tunneling.

Again, focusing on my personal experience rather than the actual argument itself, which I guess is apparently indefensible since you're not willing to defend it. Your passive aggressive insults are nothing more than an ad hominem.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2326332#Comment_2326332
You act as if I'm the only one that holds this opinion, I can most certainly tell you that you are the minority when it comes to opinions on the strength of the yellow bottles. They aren't good. They're uninspired, they don't add a significant nuance to how Clown is played (especially since you can play him and never use the yellow bottles at all unlike many killers who rely just as much or nearly as much on their secondary ability as their primary, like Doctor's Static Blast, Pig's RBT's, Demogorgon's Portals) and I will reaffirm they barely have an impact on chases. Again, I refer you to the math I've already posted.
Scott's words about the ability when it was first introduced on the PTB are no less true today than they were then.
Jeez alright dude I'm just stating my thoughts about how I find the antidote fun, didn't intend to upset you. Just thought I could convince you to try out my strategy, but oh well, it's fine. I'll just drop this if you don't like it.

What do you mean try it out?? You act like I've never played Clown before???
Sure, I'll admit to not being a main, but it's certainly a great leap in logic to say that you can't understand the fundamental principles of a killer or even the deep nuances of a killer unless you main them. I've played a considerable number of hours with Clown so to demean my experience is nothing short of degrading.
That is- it would be degrading if I was for certain that you really are a proficient Clown main. Although based off the conversation, I'm still on the fence about that.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2323577#Comment_2323577
Except Play With Your Food is very much an infrequently used perk, because frankly it's not all that great and much like the banana flavored bottles are extremely limited in terms of the movement speed boost you're provided. PWYF stacks force you to go out of your way to chase the obsession and then let them go, conceding pressure and wasting time that would be better spent applying pressure elsewhere, in exchange for a stack that provides an extremely small speed boosts and goes away as soon as you perform any aggressive action. Rarely will you have all 3 tokens of play with your food at the same time and if you do, it's because you're deliberately giving ground and conceding pressure in the hopes that it will pay off later in the match.
So yeah, your analogy sort of fits- especially in the context that both PWYF and the pee bottles both suck as chase tools and I'd much rather pick something else over both. And much like the Clown, PWYF is a rarely used perk at its worst and infrequently used at its best for the reasons previously stated. Not what I would call compelling evidence.
Look, if you're too hesitant on actually using the antidotes effectively, that's fine. I don't think Clown's antidote playstyle is for you, and that's also completely fine.
-
You're not the only one, all of us were torn apart at Billy's funeral. And I don't mean literally torn apart, I mean ######### depressed.
-
Probably the most unfun map I've played on in this game. I swear, Lery's and Hawkins are bounce houses compared to that map.

he's not viable at all.
people tell me he's viable and yet I'm getting bullied by every SWF in existence.
but when I play spirit the SWF don't bully me and are actually scared.
You can't tell me a killer is viable when not even green ranks are afraid of him
Trickster requires a ton more skill than most of the killers, including Spirit.
Once MMR hits then Trickster probably won't be viable, but who knows.
-
Legion:
Rework them entirely, from the ground up. If not, reduce cooldown after ending FF to 3 seconds, and remove the cooldown timer increase after hitting a survivor (Why does that even exist?)
Trickster:
- Main Event can now be held onto
- Injuring a survivor with Main Event will recharge Main Event by 50%, allowing more time to down the survivor
- Melodious Murder now base-kit (8 > 7 knives to bring health state down), that add-on reworked
- Laceration will only go down after the chase ends. Takes 15 seconds to go down as usual, after a chase ends from escaping a chase or ending it.
And those are my proposed changes to these killers! Not sure if the buffs will make Trickster overkill, but I feel like it'll be balanced.
-
If you don't care about winning as much as you can with other killers, go for Trickster. Very fun killer tbh.

Well I red he was completely dominated the game, and only the best of SWF had any chance against Hillbilly, after the nerf players just jumped the easiest killer to do well. So I didnt exp him,but looking back he was insanely overpowered and complained so much about, youtube videos where he destroys everything, good thing he is gutted.
Well you're reading a source from those who don't know much of the game.
People played Billy because he was fun to play as, and not stressful either. The nerf still keeps his fun factor, but makes him miserable as hell to enjoy.
Billy is hard-countered by many loops in the game.
You sure they weren't referring to his instasaw add-ons? Those add-ons were OP and I can't argue with that.
-
@Piruluk said:
Well before the nerf he was completely braindead easy to play, and was easiest killer to do well compared to nurse.
Now he is still good, but the problem is that for so much effort, you have easier killers to pick up which takes no skill or very easy to learn so you have no reason to choose Hillbilly because he very hard to play well, yet he wont be stronger than a Leatherface anyway.
Easiest killer?
The only things that were braindead were his add-ons.
The nerf literally decreased his skill cap. Discourages him from doing cool stuff like flicking and backrevs. Usually takes multiple attempts to do so before, and took skill. Attempting to do bold things like these will punish you now.
Now he's just chainsaw to another area, chase a survivor, then eat their ass to down them. Plus he was already map reliant.
-
I'd love to see this turn into a series.
Anyways I agree, I expected overheat to be a mechanic never to be activated. I liked the idea of discouraging facecamping, turns out overheat wasn't even executed the way I hoped it to be.

They wrote in their patch tho, that they "corrected" this bug allowing for huntress, nemesis, trickster and Slinger to shoot through the shack wall
So yeah devs just made the game some more bland, made it some more boring to play, and made shack some safe to play against 3 killers (huntress shouldnt be able toshoot through lol)
Well... that's just great.
Huntress seems fair but the rest should be able to squeeze through with their hitbox sizes.
There goes one of the most fun parts of 3/4 of the ranged killers.

@MrBuffalo said:
I don't think they intended for Slinger and Trickster to be affected by this by which i mean I don't think they planned that far ahead when making this patch/bugfix (what ever it was meant to be) I've come to the conclusion that the devs dont talk to one another and they make changes with out discussing it cause I swear some of the things they change come out of nowhere.
It was most likely unintended for the other two but it's still kind of annoying that they don't plan ahead.
I just hope it ain't permanent.
-
Look, if I had the cake I would bring it. But I ain't bothering to level up me other killers. Yet.
