    Leatherface has no mobility,only instadown.

Hillybilly had mobility and lethality too,he was excellent in everything and braindead easy to play

So... was he was good in every loop in the game? Does he excel in every single map in the game?

The issue with Billy is that he is a very map-reliant killer. He'll struggle on maps like Lery's, Hawkins, The Game, and Raccoon City.

On certain maps his mobility can be inconsistent, you'll have to cancel your chainsaw at times. Blight's able to handle this better.

He's a lot harder than most of the killers in the game, believe it or not. You should've tried playing him with no add-ons before his nerf.

  • Honestly I don't really care about new killers at the moment, I just want them to make their game more enjoyable.

At the same time however, I am hoping that the next killers will be fun to play as and against. I'm tired of the generic 1v1 bad at 1v4 killers we've been getting for a year.

  • The rework wasn't bad, I'm personally fine with it, but I prefer his OG look. His face looked less long and he looked more manly.

  • I have it on Switch but won't bother playing DBD on it until we get cross progression. For now, I'll only play it if I'm on a trip or if I need to test things in custom games. If cross progression gets cancelled I will cry in the corner.

  • I don't think the RE DLC even came with any bonus cosmetics, which is a big shame. Also, heavily missed opportunity.

Blight barely has a one shot ability, has an ability cool down, and takes a lot more effort to play effectively. I don't see how he has the same problems as old Billy.

What about in high wall loops where Billy really struggles? Or certain short wall loops? Old Billy struggled in those as well.

Blight can down survivors a lot faster than Billy. What are your thoughts on Leatherface? Does he need a nerf?

  • @apathyinc said:

Because it was way too easy to be successful with minimal effort. Just thrown on Whispers, BBQ, Ruin, and whatever else. Zip over to where whispers is going off, 1 hit down someone with saw, hook, see other survivor with BBQ, zip to him, 1 hit down with saw, hook, BBQ, repeat until done. The saw needed a cooldown.

    Boy, you'll definitely hate Blight.

  • I've seen people do some really cool ambush plays in particular loops. Unfortunately she suffers from the inability to counter W meta. However, she has decent chase potential and the best slowdown ability in the game. I would put her higher than the lower tier killers in the game.

Useless, we say more can not change those who hate Feng Min, they just want to change the face of the character more and more ugly, look more and more disgusting, there are too many such people in the forum, so the official can not hear our suggestions, can not hear the advice of people who really like Feng Min.

Reading this made me feel uncomfortable.

F stands for failure and there in my opinion there are still F tier killers.

I mean it's your opinion but they're not that bad.

  • I'd probably rename the F tier to D tier.

The only killer I can truly consider F tier, is PTB Ghostface. He's gone tho.

  • I've only seen it once, but I will have to try it eventually. 60 seconds of no scratch marks and blood is pretty powerful.

  • Fire Up is more of a meme if anything. However it can def be fun with Brutal and/or Bamboozle combined w/ Legion or tier 3 Myers.

I actually like it, though I know I’m from among the few.

I genuinely like it but I can see where people are coming from when it gives Billy a disadvantage.

I am glad to hear it! Thankfully most of Old Freddy's add-ons were already fun, and I sure did my best keep them that way, even the ones I had to change (Black Box, Swing Chains).

You know, Freddy truly tells a sad tale. He started as a perfectly designed killer, only to get undeservedly nerfed a week later. Then he eventually gets a rework which destroys everything that made him fun and unique. This isn't right.

    Wish we could change it.

Yeah, poor Freddy needs to get some rest after his next rework, if he gets another, one day. BHVR has taken him on a rough journey.

  • Please please please extend it. 15 days doesn't cut it, and we need a minor apology for this trainwreck of an event anyway.

  • @Aneurysm said:

Are we forgetting that Feng is a gamer? Not only should she be unattractive, her appearance should reflect her questionable personal hygiene.

    Well uh... well said lmao.

And so it is. I guess that is what happens when you take the most unique killer in the game and makes him the most generic one.

But hey, I am glad to see you like my idea! I aimed for what I believe it would be a perfect power, and it warms my heart to see that I might have succeeded.

    Did you like the add-ons?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2346084#Comment_2346084

"If you mean the full rework like Freddy had then none and it shouldn't have happened in the first place"

I think they're pretty cool. I like how you kept his dream pallets with an iridescent add-on. The add-ons look very fun to use, and I would love to use Paint Thinner!

  • Susie and Julie crowns would be nice. It'd require you to own them ofc, but it would still be cool as hell.

  • @GeneralV said:

Freddy definitely needs a change. Being stuck with a watered down version of his new and boring power is not a good thing.

As for how to rework him, here is my idea:

    Power: Dream Demon

Pull survivors into the Dream World

-Survivors who are awake do not see The Nightmare.

-Once targeted by The Nightmare’s power, survivors enter the Dream Transition for 7 seconds.

-The Nightmare’s Movement Speed Penalty for putting a survivor into the Dream Transition lasts for 1 second.

-During the Dream Transition Survivors can see The Nightmare intermittently and they suffer from the Incapacitated status effect.

-When the Dream Transition Lapse, the Survivor is pulled into the Dream World.

    Once in the Dream World:

-Survivor’s auras are revealed to The Nightmare when they are outside of his terror radius.

-Survivors suffer an action speed penalty of 40%.

-To exit the Dream World, Survivors can find non-sleeping Survivors to perform a wake up action.

-Failed Generator Skill Checks can also wake up.

    -Hooked Survivors wake up.

    Special Ability: Dream Projection

-Teleport to a Generator in view. Releasing the button early will cancel the action.

-Survivors cannot interact with the targeted Generator.

-For each Survivor in the Dream World, the cool-down of using Dream Projection is reduced by stack-able 20%.

“You have nothing to worry about. This won’t hurt one… little… bit.” -Freddy Krueger

I also have add-ons, if you wish to take a look:

    Wool Shirt:

-Slightly decreases Skill Check chances in the Dream World.

    Sheep Block:

    Slightly reduces Dream Transition time.

-Time to fall asleep is reduced by 0.5 seconds.

    Kid’s Drawing:

    Slightly increases Dream Demon range.

    Garden Rake:

Slightly increases Movement speed while casting Dream Demon.

    Prototype Claws:

Moderately increases Movement speed after successfully putting a Survivor into the Dream Transition.

    Outdoor Rope:

While Survivors are in the Dream World:

Applies a moderate (-6%) Action Speed penalty to Repair, Healing, and Sabotage actions.

    Nancy’s Sketch:

    Moderately increases Dream Demon range

    Green Dress:

Considerably decreases Skill Check chances in the Dream World.

Slightly decreases Dream Projection cool-down for each sleeping Survivor.

    Cat Block:

    Moderately reduces Dream Transition time.

-Time to fall asleep is reduced by 1 second.

    Unicorn Block:

    Considerably reduces Dream Transition time.

-Time to fall asleep is reduced by 1.5 seconds.

    Swing Chains:

Survivors suffer from an increased Action Speed penalty of 60% after 30 seconds in the Dream World

Survivors only see glimpses of The Nightmare during the Dream Transition.

    Nancy’s Masterpiece:

    Tremendously increases Dream Demon range.

    Jump Rope:

Tremendously decreases Survivors' Action speed when in the Dream World.

    Blue Dress:

Moderately decreases Skill Check chances in the Dream World.

Moderately decreases Dream Projection cool-down for each sleeping Survivor.

“I had to keep you awake long enough so when you finally slept… you would never wake up again” -Freddy Krueger

    Pill Bottle:

Survivors do not see The Nightmare during the Dream Transition.

    Paint Thinner:

Tremendously increases Movement speed after successfully pulling a Survivor into the Dream Transition.

    Class Photo:

-When a Survivor is pulled into the Dream Transition, all other Survivors' Auras are revealed to The Nightmare for the duration of the Dream Transition.

    -Tremendously increases Dream Transition time.

Time to fall asleep is increased by 2 seconds.

    “Z” Block:

    Tremendously reduces Dream Transition time.

-Time to fall asleep reduced by 2 seconds.

    Red Paint Brush:

-Tremendously decreases The Nightmare's Terror Radius.

    -Tremendously reduces Dream Transition time.

Time to fall asleep is reduced by 2 seconds.

-Survivors suffer from a Hindered penalty during the Dream Transition

“Don’t be afraid. I can make it the way it was... Just the way you liked it” -Freddy Krueger

    Black Box:

-Broken pallets are replaced by Dream Pallets

-Non-sleeping survivors cannot see or interact with Dream Pallets

“I can sleep… I just don’t want to” -Dean Russell

Man I forgot about Freddy, really goes to show how forgettable his current power is. I've probably said this before, but we can't forget that he needs this rework!

  • Myers needs a rework, he's too outdated at his current state. My idea was to give him a secondary stalk that allows him to generate evil on survivors.

  • I think the new Feng is fine. You'll just have to get used to it.

The change you proposed in the second one just makes her look too much of a doll. I'd rather her look like the average person, which the rework did pretty well.

  • "Can you bodyblock for me dude? Holy ######### we're literally near the exit gate and the Hag is eating my ass while I'm injured, help me out and stop using your flashlight! 360s the Hag Oh goddammit I am so lucky, you know what I don't need you! Escapes"

  • For my old settings:

I didn't really care about the hair so I just turned anti-aliasing off. It looks a lot cleaner, if you don't mind the pixels that is.

  • A blast to play as and against. His rework was phenomenal, and in my opinion, one of the best killer reworks BHVR has ever done. He has very consistent counterplay (windows and pallets), and excels in terms of chase.

His add-ons are also very well-designed, and extremely fun to use. Even the great Speed Limiter is fun as heck! You have a large variety. An add-on that turns Bubba into his old self, with a longer duration but longer early slowdown (Carburetor Tuning Guide), add-ons that increase the duration of the chainsaw (Chili add-ons), add-ons that increase the speed of the chainsaw sprint (Beast Marks idk what the yellow one is called), and an add-on that recharges your chainsaw immediately after hitting a survivor with your chainsaw! (Iridescent Flesh)

  • Fixated. It has better synergy with Sprint Burst and either way it's a solid perk to run alone. Plus you move a lot faster when you walk with Fixated, and you can press LCTRL to crouch anyways.

  • Spirit wasn't a bad person at all to be honest. Yun-Jin on the other hand, isn't a bad person either, but she isn't completely innocent due to her aggressiveness and selfishness. Plus you can sorta sympathize with her anyway, she's been through enough to the point where you couldn't even blame her for being the way she is. Worked extremely hard from being a poor person to become the celebrity she is, having to deal with rivalry in her life.

Even if she's selfish as hell and unwilling to save her... friends...? (Well, I honestly don't understand why she's willing to unhook or heal teammates. But then again, they can be from alternate universes, and the original Yun-Jin would probably just do gens and leave.) Despite her selfishness, I'm not even sure if she'd be okay with killing someone, unless it's on her life, probably.

Obviously the Entity can turn anyone into a killer, but I think it prefers her as a survivor. Gives it more entertainment, seeing a survivor being selfish to her teammates.

P3 Billy main here. I would argue that Billy is still one of the best killers on the roster. He still has decent map pressure after the changes and his kit is good. But, like Nurse, he has a learning curve which some people are not ready for. In my opinion, no killer should be super easy to learn. You should have to really know how to use a killer in order to bring out their full potential and Billy, Nurse, Spirit are great examples of that. Do I like his overheat feature/cooldown they added? No. I hate it for the simple fact it messes with my cross maps. However I understand why they did it. Only thing I would change about Billy is make it so his overheat does not start while revving his chainsaw. Only when sprinting

I think Billy is 100% viable, without a doubt. The thing is though, he suffers from being WAY too map reliant, which pretty much hinders his mobility and turns him into a worse Leatherface. Blight can at least play around most indoor maps, including Lery's, Hawkins, and The Game.

He's definitely fun to play as though, and no way in hell trash tier, but sometimes he can be miserable to play as.

  • I'd resume using it on Billy and Blight, but use Thrilling instead for most killers.

  • People are gonna hate me for this...

  • Yun-Jin is pretty cute tbh.

  • While changing DH would lead to Sprint Burst becoming meta, I'd be fine with that because Mindbreaker exists.

  • To be fair it was kinda OP. Infecting breakable walls did absolutely nothing to survivors, but give 25 bloodpoints. Unfair that survivors don't get easy bloodpoints like that. Glad they nerfed her.

    /s

  • At least they immediately fixed Franklin's in 5.1.0 with the whole key situation.

  • There's nothing wrong with playing a killer that others don't like.

Killers are there to be played.

  • The M1own.

  • @Lord_Tony said:

######### I knew something was off about my gameplay

why didn't they ######### mention this?

    lol

  • I've had it actually work against tunneling killers many times. And by tunneling I mean literally going for me instead of the other survs.

It's worked against tunnelers a lot, people underestimate the hell outta it. Very healthy perk.

  • The bot matches were supposed to be used for waiting in queue. I don't think they're out yet. I do hope they add them to custom games, after all DBD mobile added custom bots.

  • I'd be surprised if they don't change it. I'm sure they'll change them eventually.

  • Haddonfield is my obvious answer.

IMO Swamp isn't that bad, it has problems such as the hatch spawn and it's def in need of a rework, but it's still kinda enjoyable to me.

  • Unfortunately no. Best you could do is gift him a digital Steam card (you can do a 5 dollar one which is the price for 500 auric cells, which should also be enough for Ashy Slashy) so that he can buy it himself.

  • Wake Up

I think Wake Up is the one that is heavily in need of a buff. It's extremely situational and sometimes doesn't even work. It's not a bad perk, it's just not that great. I'd buff it to 25%.

    No One Left Behind

No One Left Behind I feel needs a rework. Unlike Wake Up this perk is completely useless, even during the EGC. Here's my concept of a NOLB rework I had on another thread!.

Oh and also, edits are in bold.

It is inconceivable to leave someone behind.

    • Gain a 30/40/50 % Action Speed bonus to Unhooking and Healing other survivors, including yourself.
    • After unhooking a Survivor, the Auras of all other survivors that are not performing actions are revealed to you for 4 seconds.

No One Left Behind grants 50/75/100 % bonus Bloodpoints for actions in the Altruism Category.

The bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-Trial.

This pretty much makes it the same as ever without needing to open any exit gates or powering them, but removes the action speed bonus to healing others. It also shows the auras of other survivors not doing generators after unhooking someone, just to make it a teeny bit useful for seeing how well the others are doing. Oh, and it makes the bonus bloodpoints work similarly to BBQ's, as shown in the last sentence. Plus we need more bloodpoint farming perks anyways.

The healing bonus was kinda pointless and really made it much more packed than Botany Knowledge, so instead of nerfing the action speed bonus I decided to remove the healing speed bonus so that it only benefits the unhook action, but still allows you to unhook survivors quickly.

    Hope

Hope... this one is interesting. I'm not sure how we'd change it, but we can definitely be creative here. Here's my idea:

The growing odds of a successful escape fill you with hope and give you wings.

As soon as the Exit Gates are powered, you gain a 4/5/6% Haste Status Effect for 120 seconds.

Each time you manually complete a generator, gain a stackable 0.8% bonus to the Haste status effect when the Exit Gates are powered.

I tried not to go too overboard on this one, but to be fair it's only temporary, plus it's already situational.

  • Yeah, uh, about that...

  • None of the above, it needs a rework. It may be a weak perk, but it's pretty unhealthy in its current state.

  • ######### dude I'm so sorry. I hope you get better, your mental health matters more than this game.

  • I had the idea of giving him an alternative stalk that allows you to generate more evil on survivors, then stalk them with the default stalk to get the evil out of them.

Oh and I would make Myers 110% in tier 1, and make it wayyy easier to get out of tier 1.

Don't forget multistack. Why on Earth did they remove it, we'll never know.

And finally, give him base-line Memorial Flower. That way, his base-kit would be more enjoyable.
