It's actually pretty fun to use this skin and have something like Tinkerer go off, and the survivors mistake you for one of their own.
I need to try that, that sounds fun lol.
-
I'd reduce its cooldown to 60 seconds and increase the gen kick duration to 45 seconds.
-
I believe it should come out as soon as the next mid-chapter comes out. A day after the mid-chapter releases. Probably going to release in 2-3 weeks.
-
He needs multi-stalk back, an alternative stalk that allows you to recharge evil on survivors, and an enhanced base-kit (faster stalk maybe?)

Late game I can sometimes see some arguments, but if you do it early you're just a miserable person.
How do you justify literally ruining the experience for that one player? I'd argue it also does for the others since they have no killer interaction, but there's no argument against the target player.
I don't understand how the devs can see such a common thing that literally completely ruins the game experience for one person and be completely OK with that. "You played our game and someone else purposely made it an awful experience and it was 100% out of your control? Great, that's intended! Please keep playing our game for more chances to not get to play the game."
In the end, it's really just a game, and there's nothing wrong with playing the game the way you want.
Is it unfun? Yeah, definitely. But as long as the tunneler enjoys it, I guess.
I don't know how we would stop tunneling without making anything worse.
-
No thanks. Tunneling is a necessary evil of this game. There are scenarios where killers absolutely need to tunnel to secure a kill. It needs to stay, I'm afraid.
And let's not make DS base-kit, we'll be playing with fire for the balance of this game. I'm down with making DS usable twice in one trial but making it unusable during the endgame when the last gen is done, but you get the point.
-
This chapter seems more of a health chapter if anything. They're focusing on fixing things, making older characters look newer, and other than the Trickster changes that's really about it. I'm glad they're not releasing a map rework yet, they need time to fix bugs.
Haha who am I kidding, they're gonna make performance worse and add even more bugs!
Oh and I forgot to mention: Queue will be less boring with the bot practice thing they're adding, which is awesome! Definitely my favorite part.
-
Can't wait for the mid-chapter update to bring worse performance and even more bugs!
-
A high-mobility killer.
######### it, make a killer that can actually fly! I want to fly above survivors and then instadown them from there by landing on them, and M1ing survivors after jumping off the shack. Would be fun as hell.
There's a lotta things they can go from there.
-
Dead by Daylight was built to run on last gen consoles. There's no reason to not optimize the game for the Xbox One and PS4.
-
Reduce its duration to 30 or 60 or something, then have Corrupt increase that duration.
-
Even though I find him fun as hell, Trickster ain't for everyone from what I've seen, so I'd go for Oni. He's a basic M1 killer at the start of the game, and then a few seconds to a few minutes later, turning into the second coming of Christ.
Twins is abysmally boring in my opinion, but lots of people enjoy her more than Trickster so you might enjoy her. Also you would LOVE Blight but his sliding will probably be too painful for you to enjoy.
TL;DR: Buy Oni!
-
Technically, he was already nerfed because he was given an uncloak movement speed nerf to compensate (in which I disagree with the nerf). Old Wraith with Windstorm is stronger than Wraith's current base-kit because you're able to hit the survivor more consistently since you could move slightly faster while uncloaking.
Other than that, All-Seeing Blood needs a rework and that's about it. He's a very balanced killer with decent chase, solid mobility, and counterplay.
His lunge is exactly the same btw.
-
There's something about Trickster that genuinely terrifies me. The fact that literally anyone could be a sadistic serial killer on the inside.
-
Working as intended. Skin was ported from DBD mobile which had the default jeans.
-
Felt like I was going through a tunnel while playing that map, trying to find my way out.
-
Hag is just so damn miserable to play against, there's nothing fun about playing against her.
Also I'm surprised no one mentioned Twins.

Old Freddy is just so damn boring and there's nothing satisfying about playing him except for a survivor running around a loop several times and trying to "mindgame" the survivor into making a mistake. Playing against him is just as much of a snorefest as well, you can do gens in front of him and easily get to a loop because of the dream transition, it's just waking up quickly with his poor 4v1 and then rushing gens with another person.
All you do is follow a survivor around until they throw you some scraps via a injure while the others rush gens. That's his entire gameplay.
I hope old Freddy sympathizers wake up and remember how painful it was to play him.
Putting survivors to sleep as old Freddy was heavily rewarding. He was the only killer with simplistic slowdown (Pig not counted) and I believe he was and would still remain the only killer with a perfectly consistent tracking ability (Nemesis has tracking, not as consistent as old Freddy though). There is absolutely nothing rewarding about putting survivors to sleep as current Freddy, other than being able to use his snares.
Woooo placing ######### on the floor how fun.
Dream Projection is the only good thing about Freddy's rework.
-
Current Freddy is just so damn boring and there's nothing satisfying about playing him except for a survivor throwing down a dream pallet and dream projection plays during chases. Playing against him is just as much of a snorefest as well, it's just holding W to prevent him from using his snares.
All you do is place ######### on the floor. That's his entire gameplay.
I hope we get old Freddy back someday.
-
Would make Franklin's the killer's Plunderers/Ace in the Hole. Plus it give survivors more of a reason to thank killers by giving them their item.
-
Eh, it's still not very appealing to me. There are perks I prefer running instead of Spine Chill.
-
Corrupt but nerfed maybe, NOED heck no.
-
Hoarder is trash. Never gonna use that perk unless I'm memeing. However I'm fine with having meme perks in the game, gives variety.
-
Hello, my lord.
I suppose the best they could do is lock characters, items, and add-ons while in the lobby. It's only fair.
-
It really ######### annoys me, and I hate it SO much, I hate it.
-
Licensed. It's just so satisfying to see well-known horror characters in one game!
At the same time however, original characters have more freedom to their perks and powers.
-
I really, REALLY want to see an SCP chapter concept.
(Although these don't count, my second picks would be Persona and Metroid.)
-
My personal build on Clown is BBQ (for bloodpoints, if not going for them I'd use Thrilling), STBFL (my personal favorite perk for Clown), No Way Out (Clown has no map pressure so if all the gens pop then he has a bit more time to hook survivors), and Shadowborn (planning to switch this out with another perk, he doesn't really need Shadowborn).
-
Dead Hard cause I'm trash at chases, and Hunch cause Ruin is my biggest enemy.
-
Not stronger, no way in hell. Fun? Hell yeah!
-
Bone Clapper should be green IMO.
I think Coxcombed Clapper is poowerful but at the same time it's iri. Plus you can do some cool plays with it, so believe it or not I've changed my thoughts on it.
All-Seeing Blood needs a rework. A nerf won't fix it, UNLESS it gives Wraith a downside. For example, what if it turns Wraith into his old self? Make his movement speed 126% while cloaked and slightly increase his speed while uncloaking. Would be pretty cool to play old Wraith again with wallhacks, yeah I'm weird don't question me.
-
Agreed, I mean I'm very happy with the Trickster perk changes (No Way Out has always been a staple on my Clown, I can't wait to run the new version! In fact, it's very similar to the rework idea I had for NWO). But we could have used some more changes to underpowered perks.
-
I mean I don't see why not.
I rarely ever get DS activated against me, meaning it'll only work against tunnelers most of the time.
-
That looks so awesome, I love it! Victor looks scary.
-
Would make Trickster a lot weaker in my opinion, probably not the best idea.
It's a fun add-on but extremely hard to manage.
-
I mean I kind of agree with you on this one, just for the fact that the Wraith was using OP add-ons, and not for anything else. Other than that, generic post from you.
-
Fun: Billy, Oni, Blight, Bubba
Least fun: Twins, Hag
-
LT walls are my favorite. It's brain vs. brain, and really fun to play in, as surv and killer.
-
Almost 5 months later and still no one that plays on Stadia.
I hope one day we'll see a Stadia gamer on these forums.
-
The renders are always better.
-
I mean, if there's no point in playing Trickster because Huntress and Slinger exist, then why do we play any of the killers other than Spirit or Nurse at all? They're better at destroying solos and SWFs than the other killers.
I personally find Trickster more fun to play as than Huntress and Slinger, and one of my favorite killers to play as.

I never like wraith enough to look at his add-ons, what was the windstorm add on?
It makes him faster while cloaked. That's it. Just makes him faster. That's the only major thing Wraith was given when he was buffed. In fact I can probably argue that old Wraith w/ windstorm was stronger because his movement speed while uncloaking was nerfed to compensate with windstorm being base-kit, and his super lunge is exactly the same as it used to be.
-
@WormMilk said:
He shouldn't get a speed boost after uncloaking and I stand by that. It basically takes away the fact that he slows down alot when uncloaking because he gains all the distance back when getting the speed boost. I liked the old wraith, he was a bad killer but not every killer needs to be good. He was basically invincible to new players who didn't pay attention and thats what I liked abt him.
Before his buffs, you could play as new Wraith with the yellow/green/purple windstorm add-on.
-
It's fixed! Here's what it looks like now:
Thank you BHVR!
-
That's a really nice edit, me likey.
I think if you already have P3 for the latter you should have all of the bloody options. If you have P1 or P2 only then you get the bloody shirt and pants only. If you unlock P3 later you can unlock the bloody head as well.
-
Is the S tier part just an exaggeration? Like is this series just about making killers truly viable, or absolutely OP?
-
Nah, we get those as standalone threads every day. I wish we got wholesome ones every day instead of the same negative ones over and over again.
-
Intentional, and I like it. It helps against survivors that abuse a window, and it also helps Clown stop loops more easily (since tonics guarantee a medium vault).
-
They're fun if you go against average survivors, but against a team that splits up and knows what they're doing I'd wish I was playing Blight.

Have you ever seen Power Struggle work before? I haven't.
Off the Record removing scratch marks would be nice, but it risks overlap with Babysitter, and I don't think 80 seconds of no scratch marks would be balanced either. Maybe with greatly reduced duration it could work. Or alternatively, giving it a once-per-unhook Quick and Quiet effect.
What might also be weirdly effective is having Off the Record remove the loud noise notification upon unhook. Probably not very effective, but who knows, it might bamboozle a killer or two.
We don't see Power Struggle work that much because people don't really use it.
I suppose it could use a buff to like 15%, but that's about as much as it can go.
