I can understand that, but I don’t have much of a problem with it.
Me neither, I personally don't mind killers that aren't fun to play against in general though, as long as they're balanced. I think Wraith is in a pretty balanced spot rn.

@GannTM said:
Ok. I find Wraith fun to play as and against so this sounds like an opinionated post.
I honestly love going against chase-oriented Wraiths. You can beat a hit & run Wraith but it's boring to play against those ones IMO.

It should give haste instead of undetectable, make it more viable on slower killers with less map pressure
I actually like that idea tbh, might make for some fun builds.

do survivors suddenly never hold w on every single other map? Holding W is just a plain boring strategy everywhere. I don't think the map changes that, it just makes it harder to cut off survivors, while RPD actually still has plenty of chances where you can cut off survivors. I think they should still maybe split the map in half and have it be two variations.
I'd be glad if they split the map in half.
The issue with RPD when it comes to W meta is that you can't loops as easily compared to other maps, so it's usually better to hold W until you find one of those BS hallway pallets.
In a map of hallways, you won't cut off survivors as often as others.
-
The map is unhealthy, at least in Lery's and Hawkins you could actually see where the survivors are. In RPD survivors would keep going out of LoS and it was just boring. It's also boring as survivor, all you do is hold W and easily get out of LoS.

I feel like people just want McMillan maps copy & pasted everywhere & don't want the devs to try anything new. The 2 near infinites on the map should definitely be looked into, but the entire layout shouldn't be scrapped.
Yes, I would love a map similar to Coal Tower and Ironworks of Misery. They are my favorite MacMillan maps, fun for both sides, and pretty balanced in general. RPD is W gamer luxury.

Underpowered and one of the least used Killer in game. If not the most. I mean do you play as the Twins? You're right about them being Unique. But honestly not that strong.
They're very strong if played correctly. Slugging is what you must do as Twins.
Doesn't mean I'm not down for changes to them though, particularly changes for their add-ons.

I like that idea too. You could also make so there is only one vaccine.

This also sounds really good but my idea was that survivors that have the vaccine in their hand have their aura revealed
Yep. One thing I love about iri add-ons is that there's a lot of possibilities when it comes to them. Unfortunately, BHVR got pretty lazy making this one.
-
A god Nurse can do well in just about any map, so she remains the top 1 for me. Spirit is good on every map, but unlike Nurse, she still plays DBD. She has to deal with windows and pallets, even if she does it way better than most of the roster.
-
Play as:
- Blight
- Clown
- Billy
Play against:
- Billy
- Oni
- Ghostface
-
Maybe make it so that the vaccines cure contamination, but injure the survivor after using the vaccine. Idk, that's just my idea.
-
Isn't that just Flip-Flop?
-
@Seraphor said:
That would be 100% better than, and completely invalidate, Flip-Flop.
I'd prefer: Gain a token each time you stun the killer up to a maximum of 5. Wiggle requirement to activate Power Struggle is reduced by 5% per token. All tokens are consumed upon activation of Power Struggle. (although the stun from Power Struggle itself would give you 1 token back)
You can then still run Flip Flop alongside it.
I like this idea, rewards the survivor for getting stuns.
-
I kinda liked the old Tinkerer. Not the old one, I mean the old old one, the one that made add-ons that affected charge speed faster.
Not sure if it was busted though. I'd just make it work without add-ons, but allow it to stack with them as well.

I saw a post about AI Wraiths the other day and have been playing as one in default appearance, default perks and purposely play like an AI that breaks in certain tiles.
Fun times, a lot of survivors give up.
Did you do hit & run? I really wanna try this lol
-
I think Obsidian Goblet should be an add-on that allows you to see the auras of the trails that appear from tormented survivors from a 16m radius. If that's too powerful, maybe have it show them from an unlimited range, but remove PH's ability to cage and kill survivors.
Seal of Metatron is fine as it is IMO.
-
Things to do while waiting in the queue in-game would be nice. (Browsing the internet doesn't count)

Wraith is cheap and everyone knows it. Killer mains just don't like Killers being nerfed for any reason ever. If a character has all the abilities in the world (invisibility, incredible speed, near-total silence, a fast power lunge) it will still always be the survivor's fault for not always carrying a flashlight, always running Spine Chill, and not having portable windows and proper loops in their pockets to use against him whenever he appears out of nowhere for his free hit.
In other words "he's fine". Just like Spirit. "He's fine". "He's fine". "He's fine". "He's fine". C-tier at best. Git bettur.
Many killer mains on this forum, including me, agree that Spirit needs a nerf in the form of counterplay. Even though hit & run Wraith is boring to go against, you can still win against them.
If most of the people here think Wraith is fine (excluding his All-Seeing Blood add-on), you should probably consider that it's a 'you' problem.

The only survivors that allow free hits are those that can't see the shimmering blob coming to them.
You have to sneak towards the survivor and uncloak before they see you. You'll likely get the free hit most of the time.
-
Considering that his power allows him to get free first hits and close in distances during chase, this would make Wraith WAY weaker. Just give him an add-on pass.
-
It's only ridiculous on Blight and Nurse, but I think it's fine on everyone else. If you can find those bones, your only obstacle is Tinkerer.
...unless they have Pop, then I honestly don't know.
-
STBFL on Demo is its bread & butter. M1 a survivor to gain a stack, shred a survivor in close range to damage your obsession without losing a stack.

I’m specifically talking about 2010 Freddy here since that’s who it is based on
IMO old Freddy's power fits 2010 Freddy more, since he was shown to be weak outside of the dream world, and the dream world itself was threatening and was something to be afraid of. Original Freddy would fit the current Freddy's power with the snares or whatever.

I've decided to change it up like this:
- Tier 1 is now 15 seconds frequency, 1 second to cough, 15% slowdown.
- Tier 2 is now 14 seconds frequency, 2 seconds to cough, 20% slowdown.
- Tier 3 is now 13 seconds frequency, 3 seconds to cough, 25% slowdown.
This way the frequency isn't too overbearing, but at the same time, letting Nemesis progress Contamination further will lead to your detriment and it will still be on you to avoid his Tentacle Strike attack.
I think that's a lot better than before, since it actively slows down survivors when holding W, allowing for being able to close in distances.
-
Yep, new Freddy is basically just a weaker Clown with mobility. Old Freddy was a unique and interesting killer.
I miss the old Freddy because he was essentially an M1 killer with an amazing tracking ability and one of the best slowdown abilities. The dream world was actually threatening back then.
-
They're a nice concept but ridiculously implemented. For example, Father Campbell's Chapel, the main building. This map was regarded as the single most balanced map in the game, and now it's survivor-sided simply because of those damn windows in the main building.

i dont think a killer can really be pulled from it. but brenda meeks with a legendary of cindy would be lovely
In all seriousness I would love to see survivors from Scary Movie as well.

@IlliterateGenocide said:
Slenderman. Scary movie (tho i wish), xenomorph i think has allmost no chance.
Shame, because I'd love to see a vacuum cleaner as a power for a Scary Movie chapter.
-
Jaws, as a killer, sadly.
-
I like the idea of making Nemesis more reminiscent to his Resident Evil self power-wise, and I do think you did a good job on this one, however I think the hindered effect is a bit too much.
Maybe 1 second every 12 seconds for tier 2, and 2 seconds every 10 seconds for tier 3. To compensate, maybe add a mini action speed slowdown effect for each of those, like 25% slower for 1 second for tier 2, and 50% slower for 2 seconds for tier 3, I dunno.
-
Oh god I hate it
-
I agree with you, Slenderman as well as FNAF def impacted modern horror. However, as much as I like Slenderman and would love to see him in the game, I don't think it'll be happening anytime soon.
-
The only time I'd do it is with Legion and Trickster, simply because it's satisfying being able to constantly hit someone with Frenzy, and for some reason it's satisfying to hit a hooked survivor with blades. I don't do either of those simply because I don't want survivors to misinterpret me as being toxic.

I think the first version looks better.
Also, I'd love to see a real life version of Old Quentin.
We're about to unleash a goblin.
-
Huh, the second one actually feels more like Dwight. Maybe Meg next?
-
Me rn
-
Most of the survivor (and some of the killers') portraits/renders in general are pretty much in need of updates.
-
It's literally a meme, just accept your death if it's you, and if he has NOED, accept that you'll likely lose another person.
It's usually the survivors' faults for getting themselves killed against a camping Bubba unless they were the first to get on the hook. I will admit, it's boring to go against, but nothing else you can do.
-
Will probably switch out Bond for it.

Oh yeah, I remember this now that I see the picture. It’s an interesting idea, but I’m not sure how it would be implemented. It would also be a ######### to navigate because all the rooms look the same.
Agreed.
-
As cool as it would be to just have the map, I don't think we need another indoor map. I love the creepypasta though.
-
@VioletCrimes said:
What are the back rooms?
A classic, short & sweet creepypasta. Tells a story about what happens if you noclip out of reality, bringing you to the backrooms. The creepypasta rose in popularity after the memes around it in 2019.
Read it if you haven't, it's short but worth the read IMO.
-
No matter how rude someone can be, death threats are never the option, it's better not to stoop down to their level.
-
Sounds like that was the survivor's fault for sandbagging you, even if it was an accident.
I think Myers with infinite tier 3 is weaker than base-kit Myers, simply because it takes 10 years to charge it up even with J. Myers which brings it down to 5 years, and the fact that he always has a 32m radius, giving survivors time to hold W. If you 99 tier 3 without infinite tier 3, you can sneak up on survivors with the lower terror radius from tier 2 so that they have less time to get distance from you. Couple that with Rabbit's Foot and Monitor & Abuse, and he's a lot more threatening than infinite tier 3.

I would rather his buffs be reverted.
He needs slowed way down.
Wouldn't he still have access to his megalunge in his base-kit and super speed with windstorm though? Don't you want him to be 4.4m/s as well as have his buffs reverted?
-
@Sluzzy said:
His buffs broke him. Literally broken.
Wraith is OP and needs a nerf, right? Do you think he should be 4.4m/s?
-
Not a bad idea actually.
-
While the internet tends to get a little... y'know, yeah...
One thing I love about the internet is how comfortable people are on here, being able to express themselves. Warms my heart to see all of this.
And yes, I wear it because I support the LGBT fellas, and I'm bisexual myself.
-
Testicular torsion
-
The map is gigantic, has a bunch of safe windows and pallets, the infamous house of pain, and the Myers house. Bring a Strode Key and Balanced Landing, loop the killer in the Myers house, and it'll be a living hell for them.
The only killers that can actually handle Haddonfield well is Trapper (sometimes), Wraith (surprisingly), Nurse, and Hag (maybe). Maybe a few more, but meh.
Also... off-topic but... nevermind.
