I do not. In fact, I loved playing against old Billy as long as he was not running double charge speed. The differences between Old Billy and Blight are 1) Blight takes far less skill to land hits 2) Is less punished for missing 3)Has even better mobility 4)Billy has reasonable counterplay and juke options, which Blight does not, especially if they run speed or recharge. I reckon many spirit mains have currently switched to Blight because they´re comparably easy to win with and steamroll soloq players.
Respectable.

Agreed. You propably will get mocked by Blight mains and fanboys who don´t want to lose their express card to ez 4ks though. His recharge per token should at least be doubled, that would be a neat start.
Do you think pre-nerf base-kit Billy was unbalanced? Mobility + instadown = OP?
-
You can't really voice your opinion in terms of game balance as a new player.
-
Wraith is overrated tbh. However, he's a very relaxing killer to play as, although is quite an easy killer to loop. Hit and run Wraith is obviously boring to go against, but you can still beat one.
Anyone who hates Wraith would definitely hate going against the old Wraith if he was more common back then.
-
Maybe a gamemode where the Entity helps the killer by blocking windows and pallets as well as emerging from the ground with its spider arms to create obstacles, but buffs survivors a bit, idk.
-
They disabled it to enhance the game's performance, or at the very least, attempt to. Doesn't seem like it did much though.
It's the same situation that happened with Fortnite on Switch, they disabled Switch video capturing on it to "enhance" the game's performance.

Sorry but reading you feels like the clown is an underrated killer, and I think you are wrong.
My main is Clown and the two bottles sharing the same charges is the worst thing they added to him.
The idea was great, but the result is bad.
The antidote is not good without addons and you have to reload too much times now.
I left my main killer (Clown) since the rework.
I mean, you don't have to use the antidote, so I don't see why you stopped playing him unless you just got bored of him. They buffed his reload speed, which is nice.
I almost always play the current Clown without add-ons, it feels a lot better than before. He's not the strongest killer, he's slightly below average, but he's still a lot stronger. Not saying he doesn't need buffs though.
My main is Clown and the two bottles sharing the same charges is the worst thing they added to him.
I agree with this though, I think the tonic and the antidote having separated inventories would be a nice buff.
-
The only nerf he got was the removal of his exhaustion add-on, which honestly needed to be removed (however I'd be down for a version that lasts for 5 seconds). His base-kit as a whole was buffed, and is WAY better than before. The antidote is hella underrated.
-
Eh, they're using up a perk slot to find survivors easily at the start of the match, then they're a 3 perk killer for the rest of the trial. I think it's fair.
-
I agree with 4 and 5, but I feel like your other ideas would make Nemesis too complex.
-
Nemesis above PH is an interesting choice.
I find Wraith to be overrated as hell in terms of power, but I don't think he's weaker than Pig, so I'd put him above Pig.
Clown is a lot stronger than people give credit for. His antidote can allow him to catch survivors in loops, and can close distances in, something that other chase killers cannot do. I'd put him below Wraith after putting him above Pig.
-
It's a bug, I'm p sure they confirmed Demo wasn't losing his chase music, but I can't find the source so uh... just trust me bro.
-
TF2 was the first ever Steam game I got addicted to. I don't play it anymore, but it's a game that will always be in my heart.
My favorite classes were Engineer and Pyro, they were really fun to play.
-
If I see one dead hard in the game, I begin tunneling hard and sometimes camping&slugging (if I can afford it), just to spite them. Dead hard is one of the most toxic and unfair perks which grants survivors several extra lives per trial for free. To me every dead hard is a spit in the killer's face, and every survivor picking it is doing so to bully the killer. Nothing more satisfying than seeing all those cocky dead hard users getting 4k'd and then wondering "why did you do it?????" in the end-game chat.
-
Eh, who cares what they think. I personally use Dead Hard because I play solo queue.
It doesn't make you a bad survivor either. Perks are meant to be used, so don't be afraid to equip it.
-
These ones slow the survivor down for a bit, since they're locked into animation when dropping the fake pallet.
-
I agree it's the survivor equivalent to giving hatch, but I usually let them go out of selflessness, if they attempt to let me kill them if I played horribly. However, I admire their choice of trying, and give them a nice "thanks" in the endgame chat if they're on PC.

Yes and no.

I like Myers and all, but nowadays his power is kinda outdated. Laurie is cool, but her perks were some of the worst designed in the game and only got balanced a little while ago. And Haddonfield is... Well, do I even need to go into it?
To this day, I still wonder what the hell the devs were thinking when they designed Decisive Strike in 2016.

I had an idea for a Trickster rework concept not too long ago. Here's what it would be:
Trickster is reverted to his old self (aka pre-5.1.0), however the laceration decay system is removed and is replaced with the requirement of having to pull blades out of yourself. The blades will stay on your body after they hit you, and the survivor will attempt to remove them, giving the Trickster somewhat of a slowdown ability. However, this is completely up to the survivor.
Trickster will be able to switch between different blades, similar to the Clown's Afterpiece Antidote, using the Active Ability button. Here are my ideas for the blades:
- His default blades will be the Trick Blades. Trick Blades will ricochet after hitting anything solid. They look the same as the usual blades. (Trick Blades add-on base-kit in a way)
- His second blades are the Ghost Blades. They are grey-ish blades that are slightly see-through, and are a bit smaller than his other blades. Unlike the others, these blades go through walls, however, they only apply +0.25 laceration, 0.25/8 blade hits.
- His third blades include the Sharp Blades. These ones are very sharp and thin, and can cut through survivors (aka Cut Thru U Single as a base-kit feature), which will be useful against survivors that attempt protection hits, as well as useful at unhooks. Edge of Revival Album will not work for these blades.
- His fourth blades will be the Heavy Blades. These blades are a bit bigger than the others, compare them to the size of Clown's "butterfly" knife. These blades take a long time to rev up, and they move similarly to Huntress's hatchets when thrown. They can only be thrown one at a time, and cannot be used during Main Event. Hitting a survivor with this blade will apply the +1 laceration as usual, however it will give them a stackable 2.5% hindered effect for each blade. The hindered effect lasts for 10 seconds.
An idea I had for the blade switching is to make it so you have this loadout thing where you hold the Active Ability button and scroll to the knives you want.
Main Event will receive a few changes. Instead of 20 blades to charge it up like before, it will be 30, aka the way it is right now. It can be carried for as long as Trickster wants to. However, it will work similarly to the PTB Main Event, where Trickster can choose to throw his blades when he wants to. He moves at 4.4m/s when not throwing blades during Main Event, and moves at the normal knife-throwing speed when throwing them. He can switch between knives during Main Event while not throwing them, where he puts away the knife he's currently using, and switches to a different one. While not throwing knives, the timer in which Main Event depletes is tremendously slower.
So that's my rework concept for Tricky, making him an actual Trickster! Sort of, I guess.
-
Unbreakable is the most powerful survivor perk imo. Not saying it should be changed tho
-
NOED has been the hotness today, saw like three NOED-related threads this morning. I might try using NOED tonight just to take part of this.
-
He's definitely a lot stronger than most people give credit for, it's just the fact that he suffers from pre-4.7.1 Blight Syndrome, where he's difficult to enjoy on console.
He's definitely fun on PC though.

Play with your food: you only lose tokens when you damage a survivor
This is such an easy fix to PWYF and I would be more than happy to see this change.
-
Oof, I mean the maps are easy to mistake for each other...
-
It's large af and the building in the middle of the map is a powerful loop, I personally don't like the map. And don't even get me started on that gen spread...
Edit: Mistook the map for Groaning Storehouse, my bad. I think this map is fine.
Edit #2: Turns out both OP and I mistook Ironworks for Groaning Storehouse, #relatable moment. Uncrossed it out.

Wrong! People obviously have they're own opinions and i have mine but people are also "ignoring" some important factors (addons, map etc) and they are not bringing up valid points as to why he was not top tier. People tend to look at whats only on the surface and not factor in a number of things. For example i brought up good points but those points were ignored to favor their own counter claim/argument. I dont have time to respond to this type of mentality but i do respect them to a degree. I did not insult them and if i did thats my bad. Its a mentality thing
I explained why I didn't think he was top 3, seems like others have but some could have added more to their posts.
IMO Freddy wasn't top 3 because he couldn't counter W meta the way Blight could, thus he was outclassed by the latter. His chase was overrated in my opinion, being countered by simply predropping and holding W, something that Blight can counter.
Also you called people delusional for saying he wasn't top 3, but seeing as you didn't intend to insult then it's alright.
-
@Edilibs said:
I've read all the comments here and you guys are actually crazy or delusional to think that Freddy wasnt top 3 or 4 after his rework! Also some of you didnt even pay attention to what i posted. I never said he's top 4 "today" I said after the rework. He got nerfed TWICE since the rework and if that doesnt tell you something i dont know what to say. Most of you guys have a very one dimensional linear way of looking at things...You "choose" to ackknowledge some things and disregard or ignore the other important aspects. You will never get a bigger understanding this way which is why i cant even reply to 90% of these responses, its actually crazy
My mans really insulting people for disagreeing with them
Allodoxaphobia, fear of opinions
-
Freddy's nerf did absolutely nothing, unlike Billy where they destroyed his base-kit.
I think Billy has the potential to be top tier instead of low average, however he suffers from being mediocre in certain maps, but then again Blight suffers from that issue yet we consider him top 3 so meh.
To answer your question though, Huntress is likely the closest candidate to that.

Err, no. If you are visible in a chase for more than 1-2 seconds at a time, you are doing it wrong. Cardinal rule with Wraith: NEVER chase while visible, unless you are uncloaking in lunging range.
That's literally what I do, I almost always cloak after hitting a survivor during a chase as Wraith. You can't uncloak to hit a survivor after hitting them all the time, they'll be at a window or pallet that you can't take advantage of.
I never said that I don't cloak to catch up to survivors.
-
Something to do after unlocking every single perk, I guess. I personally do it to feel accomplished, I'm currently prestiging Plague (P2 37 rn)
-
Deez
-
A perk that rewards the killer for ACTUALLY hooking survivors? Hell yeah. The issue with NOED is that rn it takes zero effort to activate it, this would be a nice fix to it.
However I'm thinking, maybe increase the killer's movement speed by 2% for each token, up to a maximum of 12% for each token. The speed boost will only activate after the last gen is done.
-
Hex: Predator
A Hex that enhances your ability to track moving survivors.
After hitting a survivor by any means, a dull totem is lit up, and the scratch marks of the survivor are visible to the killer when walking or crouching. The effect applies to the other 2/3/4 survivors after hitting them.
The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.
Basically just The Third Seal, but for tracking. It'll encourage the survivors to avoid stealth until the totem is cleansed. Might be great for Wraith himself, and maybe Clown.
-
Justified tbh, and I don't usually justify suiciding on hook or DCing. The map is so ######### boring for both sides it's not even worth it.
-
I can't wait for them to add breakable walls next to the window that leads to the balcony in the Myers house, as well as breakable walls in the house of pain (similar to Badham) and call it a day.
-
Eh, I still think Blight is better, even before Freddy's nerf. Before Blight released though, I never considered Freddy top 3, I thought Hag was better.
Freddy can be countered by simply holding W, and you could still win against a Forever Freddy if your team is good. He's still a powerful killer though.
-
Wraith is fine, play Wraith against a competent team and you'll get destroyed. He's trash in certain tiles where you'll need to be a M1aith.
-
Honestly I don't see why not, it's worth a shot.

How to fix Billy: Take away the overheat mechanic. Boom fixed him, ez pz lemon squeezy. It was an awful decision that only made a fun Killer not fun. Dumbest decision the Devs have made to date, and that says a LOT.
But you'd have to fix his add-ons as well, it won't be that easy.
I made this thread because overheat will be staying in the game, and the devs want to keep it in. I feel like the mechanic has potential to be a better one, because rn all it does is punish Billies for trying to do cool plays.

I LOVE Claudette as a character, it's just a damn shame that the majority of her players tend to be... y'know...
There's still some good Claudies tho.

Next person to post must play:
Nurse with - bamboozle ; enduring ; spirit fury: play with your food
Super-duper OP meta build with zero counterplay
-
That sounds fun, I'll try to remember to join in tonight. I'll probably use Clown since I have every single perk on him.
-
I feel like they'll stop updating it on its 10th anniversary, in which that would be its final event. Ofc they'll still fix bugs, but I imagine them to remake the game on a different engine, or an updated Unreal version.
-
Reminds me of the bug that happens when a Switch player went against a Freddy before he was released on the latter, where Freddy power works against them, but his model is invisible.
Kinda ironic since Demo's license is going away.
-
I don't think she'll be getting a base-kit buff because sTaTiStIcS, god I hate her purple add-ons.
She will get her well-deserved add-on pass though, eventually...
-
Slowdown perks stacked with a side of NOED is annoying to go against, but I love going against endgame-dedicated builds.
-
I really like Billy's and Trickster's.
-
Eh, I think PH is a lot more unique because of his ability to hit through walls. If he cancels his power, you have time to vault the window and then hold W.
Nemesis yeah he's pretty lame in terms of design, but to compensate, his tentacle strike uses a 3rd health state.
There's not much you can do if you're at a window or a pallet, other than trying to fake it, but they're very beatable.
