Nah. Even good teams struggle while playing against him. Because he can distract survivors so effectively and he has good synergy with Dead Man's Switch.
So he can actually do something to good teams in hands of the good player, what's the problem?

Pinhead is OP if you're new to the game 😅
I mean, literally every one of killer is.
Trapper who doesn't use any addon, perks or even trap itself is already too OP for newbies.
-
definitely clown, he is far less stressful in chase.

"He is a difficult killer to play" is an invalid argument because it doesnt disprove the fact that Pinhead is overpowered.
Overpowered compared to what though, survivors can deal with him just fine, they have enough tools to do so.

Dunno dead hard its an ok perk be mindfull of its presence and wait it out besides its one time use in a chase so it think its fair. The only issue its with dead hard ots that kinda beats almost all other exhaustion perks. Results in a stale meta.
The reason it beats all other exhaustion perks, is because this is pretty much one additional health state with literally no counterplay.

He's still a super difficult killer to play.
Anyone who can land the chains correctly and consistently could be just killing you with Nurse and skipping over the rest of the game too, honestly.
I can even say nurse is easier to land hit than landing a chain as pinhead.
-
@Aurelle said:
Because you literally can't do anything against Pinhead.
Can't solve the box because the chains will interrupt you or Pinhead will teleport right next to you. Can't loop him because he will send a chain after you and slow you down so he can get a free hit. Can't do gens because most Pinhead's bring the most busted gen slowdown/regression builds.
So yeah, I don't blame survivors for giving up against this ridiculous killer.
If pinhead teleported to you, it's pretty much same as solving box.
And just dodge the chain 4head, which is easier than any other projectile in the game.

Killer is soo much more stressless than playing non-4man-survivor, why its quite hilarious to see all those rants everyday.
I'm not sure, as a survivor you always have a chance to escape thanks to killer, not for the killers.
-
Is this situation where there is only two survivors?
-
It's more like "I CAN NOT PLAY THIS GAME" than "I WILL NOT PLAY THIS GAME" tbh.

All killers have counterplay? LOL. Good joke.
Good joke or bad player, choose wisely.
-
What's important in anti-loop is HOW they anti-loop anyway, this game doesn't have anything more than anti-loop or map pressure.
-
More like we should remove extremely stressful and pressuring aspect of killers, in other word, impossible.
-
Just as much as stretched res users, aka 99% of them.

Or if they remove perk tiers, this also will help so much.
Alternatively they can just reduce all the prices to 1/3.

Devour hope overpowered? this is 2022 bruh.

I’ll give that a try. Maybe my issue is I panic. I think “Oh, ######### he’s going to teleport to me.”
Well he WILL teleport to you unless he is in chase or something anyway, so most survivors will just go to good location (like shacks) or try to solve it right after a down (so he has to choose between hook or teleport).

I used to play Pinhead a lot back when I barely played survivor so I never faced him in game. Now I’m playing a fair bit of survivor I can see a little of the frustration the chains can cause. The only thing I would change is when it comes to solving the box. I wish chains couldn’t target you or they where slower during this. I’ve tried everything suggested such as dodging and using the environment but if I have the box and the chain hunt is active it’s usually over for me. I just can’t get it solved before a chain interrupts.
Just break the chain few times, chains will go for longer cooldown and it SHOULD allow you to solve the puzzle.
BHVR can broke something and it may not works as intended though.

I just want a killer that has a fair power. I think everyone can easily tell that anti loop killers make the game worse.
So basically, a killer even a worst survivors can loop for 3 minutes straight, right?

Yea that might work at low MMR.
It doesn't matter whether it works or not, this is literally the only way to play soloq.
-
@Marigoria said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2806962#Comment_2806962
Oh I know it doesn't work. But I also know people are not going against 4men swf every match,
Of course, but it doesn't matter.
-
@Marigoria said:
Because he is frustrating to play against in solo q.
Solo Q already has to expect and hope others are doing gens, totems and going for saves. Now we also have to hope someone is doing a box.
Do everything by yourself and escape with hatch, that's the way of soloq.
If you can't, try to find other players to play together.

@BoriskyTheFox said:

Sounds easy to me. Even High MMR SWFs might lose against good Blights.
Then do it.
-
@Marigoria said:
People who say killer is very difficult and they can barely get a kill on any match yet say they keep going against 4men SWF with only meta perks every match.
If they can barely get a kill in a match, their MMR will go down and they'll stop facing all these SWF comp teams.
People who say they have 80%+ escape rate in solo Q. No, no you don't.
MMR is proven to not meant to work, you are overestimating MMR.
-
@CashelP14 said:
"I can tell I was facing a swf". Some variation of this I see a bunch. 9/10 you have no real way of knowing your facing a swf or not, but people want to think they are to blame their loss on.
It's more like 3/10 times since 7/10 times there is at least one person with public profile and with friend list which contains all other players.

I just played against Sluzzy and they absolutely annihilated me.
Why is he acting like whiny survivor main when he is literally on leaderboard in both killers an survivors? I don't ######### get it.
-
I don't think you can have fun as GF/pig... they are literally a M1 killer who has no power to use during chase.
-
All hail sluzzy.
-
Is this feeling of hatches always spawning right below last survivors?
-
Would be fun, but feels more or less band-aid-y.
-
She could curse a person and hunt them down in their own dimension, and she could teleport around with wells too.

Why are we still responding in this literal bait pond?

It isn’t possible to play optimally every single time, people will make mistakes. So you’re saying that they should be left on the hook?
I mean, if you don't want to help them, you really shouldn't.
That's better for your own mental health.

Probably because he doesnt want to play killers that make the game boring for survivors. You dont even need to play Blight to realize that he is overpowered. Just play against a High MMR Blight who abuses the game mechanics and your opinion will change.
I think it's actually Low MMR blight because you sounds like Low MMR survivor.

When people describe how often they get salt in egc. Like it is litterally imposible to get salt from 50% of survivors on avarage beause no one platform (at least if polls are accurate) has 50% of the player base. The most populated platform is PC that has almost 50%
And in genral I feel like people are just popping off. We're playing the same game how can I never get salt or Toxicity yet you claim to have it every game or every other game? I play almost every killer, I switch up perks, I play a bit dirty from time to time so I can't think of any factors that would cause such a discrepancy except that you are over exaggerating.
I also think people over exagerate how often they go against 4 mans, just because they have a tiny amount of cordination doesn't mean they're on coms. It could just be hours in the game, intuition, ect. Someone was able to communicate to me 'Lets 99 the gen, heal, then finish it.' by just double crouching when the gen was at about 85.
And people VASTLY over exaggerate how strong a SWFing is. Just because a team has communication doesn't mean they have good communication. Nor every swf has communication like "Hex at the 4 o' clock LT wall, right on the corner of the long side!'
No its gonna be more like 'Oh he chased me past the hex!'
'Oh, where?'
'Um at a jungle gym loop.... its like across from main.'
'What side?'
'The side with the drop down window.'
I mean, having pop doesn't make killers gen guardian god, it's same thing for SWF.
The strength of things itself doesn't changed by how people use it.

Survivor que times are instant for me so i think that ''killers are leaving the game because surv que times are so long'' rumour is a lie.
what kind of worlds you are living.

If your teammate is bad, let them die.
Don't help them, it's that easy.

I actually come strapped with Lightborn. So I would roll those kids, regardless. No need to send them back to queue when I can send them back to an mmr where it might actually work.

But the game starts when you're all quede up, yes you're the AH, you're just wasting everyone's time, and there's always a chance that a rando got caught up in all of that for no reason
No worries, in this circumstance Killers time is much less valuable than survivor's, wasting it will not hurt them.
-
What, do you think survivors want to get better?
-
@Faulds said:
That would actually be a good thing. But then you'd need to determine the good timer. I feel that 10 minutes is too short, but 20 is too long. Maybe 15 minutes would be balanced.
There won't be "too long" if you think this is just a hostage countermeasure.

Killer is impossible to fix.
I have no idea what you could do to make Killer experience better that is going to apply fairly to all skill levels.
Currently anything you to buff Survivors turns Bully SWFs into even more unstoppable demons, and anything you do to buff Killers turns low MMR Killers into pubstomping monsters.
Most pubs are not that bad though...
-
Play good killer, trash killers not worth your time, unless you are playing it as meme.

You mean... RANCOR + NEMESIS + NEMESIS?

If anything, I'd say it gonna help newbie nurses to realized this is NOT the right way to blink if it was impossible.

If they nerfed his number of slams and have more cooldown after using it as well. He can make so many mistakes and not punished.
Actually getting afar as is is biggest punishment for him.

The devs have already stated they don't care about high MMR. Multiple times. They care about the average playbase and in the hands of average players blight is hot garbage and has one of the lowest kill rates.
Why do you think killers like Clown literally got add-ons nerfed when Blight add-ons were getting buffed? Cause Clown is literally better at their median skill level.
So we can look forward to more nurse buffs coming, nice.

No, Lot of other play him because he is the "Meta" and uses a generic build that makes gens almost impossible to pop with no other build.
He is quick, can get to gens before they pop, can use perks like Tinker, Undying, Ruin, to make gens impossible to pop because of how fast Blight can get to it so it can regress back to 0. Blight has a strong basekit so why just use perks to make it overkill and not some fun perks.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2805866#Comment_2805866
It can be meta depending on the build, I just use perks that would fit a Mr Hyde build but also which would be fun to use and not only focus on Gens. I use Tinker sometimes because it sorta fits well with the whole "Scientist" gimic. Also Infectious fright is also pretty fun perk.
A fun build I like to run is "No where to Hyde" with mostly Aura or location perks and only 1 gen perk.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2805857#Comment_2805857
Indeed......well except in the book lol.
I'd say meta perks are still meta perks because they are strong enough as is, not gonna be a meta build though.
