I just hope her to be as strong as pinhead.

Survivors WILL abuse this, period.

She's been disabled for a fix. This happens in other games all the time and nobody's clamouring for compensation there, it's just a normal thing that happens.
Also, you didn't pay for Nurse. She's a base game killer.
Most of us paid for base game, which includes nurse.
Not me though.

@jesterkind said:
...Why would they give out compensation for killswitching something?
Cuz more or less they broke her.
Not serious but I'll take BP if they gonna give us one.

I just like how the queue time argument means nothing when it's all dependent on the time of day
I'm jealous of how bad survivors are at your region, in my region que time doesn't fluctuate at all thanks to all survivors being tryhard sweatfest.

please don't be anti loop.

It only removes fun.

It shouldn't be a hex perk, too weak to be one.

Im glad they disabled her for a while. Playing against a killer that can teleport through walls and hit you no matter what you do isnt fun. This is our chance to go against killers that have more interactive mechanics.
7 peoples unironically upvoting this guy.

I feel like 3 gen situations are more the survivors fault. It's there job to do gens, so it's also their job to make sure they do gens in a way that the last few a separate enough so the Killer can't easily apply pressure on all of them. As Killer I notice survivors who will rush gens by sticking in groups of 3 or 4 just to do gens as quickly as possible instead of splitting up and doing gens all across the map. So you can't blame me for taking advantage of a situation they put themselves in.
I play SWF on occasion, my friends aren't terrible, but they're not the best. They'll come and work on a gen I'm working on, I'll leave that gen to them and tell them not to do all of the gens on one side because it'll screw us over. Sometimes they listen, sometimes they don't. So if we 3 gen ourselves, we can't get mad that the Killer taking advantage of since we put ourselves in that situation.
It's kinda like sandbagging, it's clearly their fault but it doesn't justify behavior.
-
You can even take adapt because MMR doesn't work.

I can't count how many times I've hit through palette though...

?? Boons dont have little counterplay. Killers can easily detect it coz it makes a weird noise and snuff it in less than 2-3 seconds.
And what snuffing accomplish? wasting their own time and nothing else.
Only counterplay killers have against boons are tunneling one who brought it quickly.
-
It's not needed, because nurse can't hit realistically with those "adjustment"... the seconds it takes to blink is still same.

Looks like you are blind or playing different game. Boil over never speeded up the progress of the wiggle, it only increases its power which doesnt mean ######### to killer. Looks like you are one of the killers who got rekt with that perk many times and now you are happy that it was nerfed
It means everything for both killers and survivors, it's a game changer!

It was making it harder to reach hooks, now it doesnt matter. Boil over doesnt increase the speed of wigle, now for jumping is no punishment so all that perk has is stronger wiggle but it doesnt rly matter, killers easy can go for any hook like it was before
It shouldn't matter, no perks should be able to just undo a chase killer has done.
Boil over basically does increase distance between hooks, thus reducing the location killers can hook you... and which is extremely important.
And do note it hides auras of hooks within 16meter too, so killers can easily miss out closest one and let you wiggle free.

Honestly, would it be a bad thing if letting go of a generator during a regular skillcheck simply cancelled that skillcheck?
Gut instinct may be to say that's abusable, but I don't really think it would be. Good skillchecks are not hard to hit, and if you're not doing any skillchecks at all you're missing out on the BP gain and potential extra progression from hitting the Great.
Obviously special/harder skillchecks shouldn't have that quality, even the one in the game that currently does, but just regular ones it seems a bit unnecessary.
Yes it does, bad players gonna do extremely strange action like repeatedly spamming M1 to cancel all the skill checks.

Yeah, Corrupt gets countered by hiding
It doesn't mean survivors are hiding around the blocked gens though?
Why would you patrol blocked gens risking both not finding survivors because they are hiding well/somewhere else AND giving them the opportunity to work on the other gens at the same time?
They will usually spawn on blocked gens.

What?
I was referring to the video, he got 2 downs when the first gen popped, that's why I was saying that it wasn't bad at all
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2803144#Comment_2803144
Sure, but if you patrol blocked gens, survivors are free to work on the unblocked ones, I was under the assumption that Corrupt was useful to help the killer by giving them less gens to check, and that finding survivors fast is usually the most important thing in a killer match regardless of your perks, right?
Right but thing is, corrupt is waste of a perk slot if survivor decide to hide for 2 minutes, so you have to pressure them within 2 minutes.

You don't. You cannot humanly react in time if the skill check spawns right as you let go.
Something like just leave AFTER a skill check ends.

Actually it isnt, and it was exploitable like on the rpd library. The point is to make it easier to wiggle out, not garuntee it every time.
I don't think the point is to make it easier to wiggle out, but make it harder to reach farther hooks.
Thus, It somewhat counters scourge hook.

@H1GHLVND3R said:

On rpd they added 3 hooks in library, it was maps exploit, not the perk. So why nerf it? Whole poin of the perk was to prevent killer from jumping and make him go straight, now he can jump from stairs like there is no tomorrow and wont get punished for that. Perk is almost useless now
Whole point of wiggling as is is forcing killers to hook in close position, and boil over WILL buff it tremendously.
It is still useful and strong, just not instawin for survivors.
-
Wiggle out shouldn't be messed around, it is extremely dangerous mechanics which can break game easily, and boil over was breaking the game.
Still strong enough thanks to struggle effect.
-
@Lycidas said:
I just came back and checked the video again
You are using Corrupt Intervention wrong. You start the match and go DIRECTLY towards the blocked gens.
I get it, your Ruin was there and you wanted to check on it, but that way you are pressuring the gens on which the survivors are NOT able to work on, and that's the wrong use of Corrupt Intervention, because you leave the survivors free to work on the 4 other unblocked gens
Still, you downed 2 survivors in 50 seconds there, so it wasn't a loss
But if you patrol unblocked gens, survivors gonna hide around.
Finding survivor fast is most important thing of corrupt I think.
-
killers do feel underpowered even with teachables
huh.
-
@BirdSpirit said:
I don't get why some people are arguing that survivors should get punished for something they have no control over. This seems like a common thing in the game. Getting farmed off hook. Getting face camped.
They DO have control though, just hard.

It depends. Sometimes its best to do gens instead.
It doesn't depends, always net positive for survivor's time.

Unless you are bubba, if you hard face camp at 5 gens, you essentially guarantee a loss if the survivors don’t just throw themselves at the hook.
But you can guarantee that one person's death too.
-
@IronKnight55 said:
It's pretty balanced now. I don't feel like any nerfs are needed. It takes so much time finding totems, then blessing them and healing. Killer can snuff them super quickly as well. Boons are supposed to be strong.
None of those matters in SWF, solo q in general is ######### all days anyway.
-
Hook and boil over is very different thing, it's a fix and a nerf.
-
@SOULWARRIOR71K said:

Imagine a world where one survivor has to accept being on second phase 1 minute in no matter how they play. Would be dumb right? So why should killers just accept that they will immediately be on the defensive less than 1 minute into the game no matter how well they do? Lol.
That's literally facecamping lol
-
@GoshJosh said:
Absolutely not. A breakable wall is not a pallet, they have two completely different functions. Plus some maps are loaded with breakable walls, and the synergy with Enduring is already questionable.
Most breakable walls are pseudo infinite, so yes, it's pretty much same as palette.
-
The perk is meant to be hit or miss, you shouldn't get wiggle out consistently.
And, it's still strong in that term thanks to struggle effect, esp in indoor maps.
-
You are not meant to defend every gen, first three gens are almost always pop no matter how you play.
As long as you are defending "important" generators, it'd be fine.

No what I mean is overwatch has more players like way more millions more
Are we sure about it.

People who do tunneling/camping is not affected by this, and people who don't will not care if they get unhooked or not, what's the point.
-
It's not bad, just literally does not exists.

I am an Iri 1 survivor. Youre not running good Bubbas for 3 gens dude.
So you played a lot but still can't counter bubba, I see.
-
Survivors shouldn't be able to turn quickly or hug objects, nerf them.
I'm tired of chasing them for 3 minutes straight.
-
You can at least dodge survivors.
-
It's a joke.
Now just give all killers BNP equivalent!
-
Problem is HOW, no one knows what can fix this broken strong perk.
-
This could be finally the time to rework SKILL CHECK!
-
Yeah, survivors can have BT/DH as baseline, nowhere near with killer.
-
everyone does.
