"Just take windows" is the single worst advice since "Just face a wall to avoid a flashlight".
Sure, I'll just spawn a window next to this generator I am working on. No problem. What is the website you can buy hacks from again?
Just use sprint burst or something? like use your brain and try to deal with it, because if you do so you very well can.

It legitimately belongs to feedback section.

I don't think I said it was.
I was referencing Budhhas comment of how the game is survivor sided, which is not the case in every situation
how "sided" game is, will be usually considered by capability of those sides.
No one thinks "nurse is bad" just because her kill rates are low, because her capability is greatest of all killers.
Same should be applied to survivors, doesn't matter if there is plenty of bad players or not, survivors are capable of absolutely destroying pretty much every one of killers if they played properly, "situation" can not change how capable those characters are.

I agree, at higher ranks, and more so if swfing.
But as a solo q main, it all comes down to teammates, and at least half of them are clueless, and that makes for a lot of frustration.
It is so, you can feel the difference when you have good situationally aware mates or dolts, the game just flows differently.
I mean, that's survivor problem, nothing to do with killers.

Its a great strategy and it should be nerfed.

I guess I suck everytime I get tunneled and camped. Literally happens to everyone.
It doesn't happens to everyone, there is hide-y players and super good chaser player which doesn't get caught for like few minutes.
So, true in some way.

Over altruism is generally considered as greed by most killers, because that's what kills them.

Nah. You can play fine at every MMR level as killer without paid perks.
I'm 100% sure more than 80% of killer players are incapable of it.

I don't think DH is really as OP as people like to believe. Any killer with a reasonable amount of hours in the game knows how to bate it. Plus, it has to be timed right in order to make it to the next loop/pallet, otherwise, it buys you an extra couple of seconds at best. I mean, there are countless clips on YouTube of 'Dead Hard fails' where you can see it doesn't always work as intended. I get that it's annoying as someone who plays killer and survivor 50/50, but there are other exhaustion perks that are better in my opinion - Sprint Burst for example.
It's one of those perks that one side complains about as it makes their game harder and puts more pressure on them. It's the same as survivors who play an entire round efficiently while the killer gets little-to-no hooks but then gets a free 2K/3k because of NOED. It's an annoyance, but oh well. This is the thing with a competitive game that has 'sides': each side will complain about the advantages the other has. I agree, DH has become a 'clutch' perk, but so are perks like BBQ, Pop etc. It's just one of those things.
There is countless situation where it can't be baited at all, and in that circumstance you have no reason to use it in "right time".
You have different opinion than many other (and probably different from statistics), there is extremely few survivors who thinks SB is better, and there is a reason for that.

I mean, against a good Nurse or Blight, Dead Hard is practically necessary to have a chance. But yeah, it's overkill vs. other Killers.
You can very well deal with those killers without dead hard, they are meant to be dealt after all.

I feel ya. Most of my killer games result in a complete steamroll(at least 5 hooks before 2 gens are popped). I almost always let the last survivor get hatch. Hell, what is the point in me killing everyone when I know for a fact I'm double pipping? I've even let entire teams finish gens because not a single gen was done in 6-8 hooks and I know I've already double pipped. I'm mainly a survivor so maybe I just have empathy, but literally what can I do more than double pip? There's nothing for me to do at that point other than ######### around.
You literally can not double pip without killing everyone.

k so i got the math wrong but its still not possible to do because 3 survivors can only do 3 seperate gens and maybe part of a 4th in the full hook timer
Yeah, survivors only have 360seconds out of 400 seconds.
Only if first survivor didn't get hooked immediately and managed to chase for at least 15seconds.
-
There is chase and search time before one gets hooked, and after there you have 120 seconds to do gens.
If it take more than 15 seconds to hook a person, it should be fine as you have 360 seconds across all survivors.

Honestly, I have no problem with Borrow Time, UnbreakaBill and Decisive Strike.
I always go for the person who unhooked and if I have a player who likes to bodyblock with BT then it is tunneling time. I can bait a vault to grab them, I can stack my Safe the Best on them and so on. Also BT is a very good perk because it rewards you when rescuing your teammates and using other perks like Deliverance or We are gonna live forever. I want more perks that reward safe unhooks...
UnbreakaBill follows Murphys Law: When I have it I never get to use it and when I do not the Killers slugs. However when I play Killer this never becomes a problem because I rarely slug extensively and even with Oni I have no issue with this perk. It even allows some fun build like Flip-Flop and Powerstruggle and I love that.
Decisive Strike has its ups and down. However most times I can see when a survivor have it. They never try to hide it. The fun thing is that those survivors do nothing to progress the game for 60 seconds. That is more slowdown than Ruin ever got me. Most times I just pick up that survivor while loudly saying "This is Decisive Strike and I am going to eat it."...The only time this perk bother me is when the endgame starts. However this is the time of NoeD and survivor need DS to have a chance.
Now to the big one: Dead Hard.
Honestly, I do not hate that perk. It is mostly fun and there is nothing like a survivor deadharding into a wall or dcing when I down them as Pinhead because the can not dead hard. The only thing I hate about this perk is that survivors only use this one perk and little to no other exhaustion perks. I rarely see a Lithe, Smash Hit, Balanced Landing or Overcome and I hate that part about Dead Hard. I want more different builds from my survivor, strong builds that put up a challenge for me and reward smart play. Diversity in survivor perks is one of the top priorities when it comes to my fun as a killer. Dead Hard is so overused that it kills a part of this joy...
An NoeD...well...
Where is the fun with that unless the Killer run a full endgame build with Remember Me, No way out, NoeD, Bloodwarden? The Killer downs one guy with NoeD and my team leaves. Easy. No interaction, no fun, no gameplay. Just leave when the Killer has NoeD. It does not add anything to the game for me as a survivor to do this. I also expect my team to just leave when NoeD is on. Do not rescue me, take the win and make a three man escape. I will just struggle for points. Thanks and by.
I am not even salty about NoeD. It is just a bit boring.
I mean, if you just throw up and take the "loss" as nothing, of course it would be boring.

I've been using my totem cleansing build (which is basically just Small Game) in solo queue and the time it takes to cleanse all five totems can literally cause us to lose the game because now we don't have enough time to get the gens done.
I feel like a change like this, e.g. an uncleansable Ruin for two whole minutes, would plunge solo queue even deeper than it already is.
You are cleansing five totems solo and not using counterforce, I just think it's the problem.
And I think time it takes to cleanse all five totems have nothing to do with ruin staying up for 2 minutes.

If they can't be destroyed in for 120 seconds then they should be nerfed accordingly.
Not needed, none of hexes are strong enough to worth using for 20 seconds uptime.
120seconds is fine, it's not like hex perks kill you instantly.
-
They would be actually strong.
-
This is the TRUE reason of killer shortage I think, they need paid perks to even stand a chance when survivors tend to use everything possible nowadays.
And even the grind is extremely inefficient if they have no good perks.
-
Just play SWF, you have a choice, you chose it.
-
No, buff it.
Instead of bell sound being silenced, you should hear the sounds ALL THE TIME, no matter where you are, no matter what killers doing, literally entire match.

I use dh because it’s fun. It’s the only perk you can use to do something different as survs in this game
I don't think you know any of survivor perks at all.
-
I have to say, YES! they have to bring those perks!
Survivors are mostly sweatfest for them too, so meta perks and meta addons are super necessity to play this game, this is exactly the reason why blight is so common, after all!
You can't expect survivors to intentionally play worse or anything, in fact, you shouldn't expect to match with solo q and with actual MMR balance, you have to expect sweatiest SWF on highest MMR, all the time, not because they are common, but they DO appear and you have no way to see if they are sweaty or not.

you're wrong. maclean recently stated it's a bug.

I think trying to understand what it can do and what it can't do would greatly help your survivor life.

I wouldn't say Unbreakable is a problem, but that perk is the one that turns around games unlike the other 3 that just buy that particular survivor a bit of time. Especially if paired with soul guard as you can use it much more aggressively which is key end game.
It's definitely a strong perk, but I mean, what can you do against it, or what do you need to do against it.
And if you slugged everyone at once, the chances are you CAN'T lose from that point, even if they all healed up by one unbreakable or two.

I do not understand, is playing survivor supposed to magically change reality? I play tons of survivor and still believe the game is survivor sided at higher levels because I am not biased as hell.
I think people are supposed to get extremely frustrated by tunneling or camping or whatever killers do to you, even though playing survivor is mostly relaxed and something that can be doable with brain almost turned off.

anyone getting mad at camping or tunneling is just plain bad or taking this game too seriously.

And my point is that you lose practically nothing. All it takes to counter BT and DS is just to swap targets, which takes legitimately zero seconds. All it takes to counter UB is to pick the target up, which doesn't cost you any time either, since that's already part of your objective progression.
Compared to NOED, which requires you to slow objective progression by around 20%, if not more.
The only thing I'll give you, and which I've been advocating for, is that BT should strip unit collision for the duration of the Endurance effect so they can't bodyblock you when you're trying to go for the unhooker.
"just swapping target" is extremely wasteful because, otherwise, those perks didn't need to exist from the beginning.
Without existence of DS and BT, killers would be able to kill a survivor one or two minutes faster, which is certainly more impactful than 20% progression loss of NOED (if you decide to do bones before gate is powered, anyway).
UB is not a problem though, I don't think anyone actually playing around that perk after all.

Billy on lery, such sound.

And nobody offering toxic responses gets the irony in doing so. This community baffles me honestly. You're frustrated and I totally get it. This game is very bad for mental health and even worse when people in the community just berate you. If you like the game, you'll probably be back, but taking a break is a good idea. BHVR has announced they have something coming to change camping mechanics. Everyone says "just do gens" but forget that you have a 10 minute que time and can easily be the unlucky bastard that gets facecamped 3/4/5/6/7 times in a row. Next thing you know you've wasted an hour and a half and only got 8 minutes of gameplay, most of which was on a hook while your team crouch walks across the map. It's frustrating and your feelings are valid, mate. Don't let these asshats make you feel like YOU are doing something wrong.
If game has 10 minutes que on ONE SIDE, it just shows how broken balancing is or how bad that side of attitudes are.
-
I'm happy as I can play with shorter survivor que now.
-
Camping is riskier as is, if you are fine with one person dying, so is camping.
Punishing killers DOES NOT work because other side of players abuse everything they have to take advantage.
-
It's a waste of time trying do so as it is literally impossible, this is not a game with actual depth or anything.
-
Doesn't seems to be fun way to go, make every numbers bigger as baseline and problem solved.

“OP medkit” why don’t we just get rid of every single survivor item?? Are survivors not allowed to have items??
Yes.
btw do you even know what "op" means in this sentence?
Basically, it's a way to describe full stacked best rarity medkit for self healing, it doesn't really matter whether it's actually OP or not.
Also I think "OP" is not a word which used for something that should be removed.
-
I wonder, if you dropped, could killer hear your voice?
-
A streamer just performed 4k with ultra rare addons on strong killers in pub match, wow op so broken

No, this would make killers way too strong. Two is good because it allowes you to combo add-ons together that work well or shar the same effect while the effect not being too oppressive.
Examples: infitate T3 tombstone and after stalking adding.
Blight with alchemist ring and double speed add-ons
Pyramid head with triple range add-ons
There's a lot more but my main point is that three would be far too opresove.
Your example literally showed how good and balanced this change would be.

Pair it with enduring and you pretty much ignore every pallet in the game.
I think most survivors are forced to drop palette earlier against blight.

And still ######### up by good teams of surv, lol
biggest enemy of blight is literally a rock.

It's probably not 90%. If it was that much, surely the devs would have nerfed it a long time ago.
That's how they've chosen to nerf over-used killer perks in the past.
It's survivor perks, it's allowed to be overused.

I dunno, even in this video it looks like it's not a full SWF (there is a full sabo SWF in the video though) and yet it'd be a hassle for a killer to deal with:
If a killer match up against good soloq players it'd be a problem, but there is not much of them after all.
-
Killers without slowdown perks are literally nothing lol
It doesn't matter whether they are good or not, the role "killer" itself become nothing once they stops using slowdown perks.
It's not even a "training wheel" or "get out of jail free" or anything, it's literal necessity to actually play the game.

So fixing it so you don't see those all the time would make the game more RNG based, and less broken then?
Kind of? better make it 50/50 for either sided though, I'm not sure if one LT walls are killer sided.

How isn't that broken then?
Because it's pretty much baseline mechanics, not something you will meet once or twice every day.
