They have to make money and those characters make them money hopefully someone you play gets something cool soon fingers crossed
Here's hoping but I swear if feng or Kate gets another cosmetics I'm going to freak out
-
@ElleGreen said:
They sell well and people like playing them why wouldn't the devs give them a lot of cosmetics
What about people who don't play them? They get nothing?
-
@NerfedFreddy said:
Surely they should make more cosmetics for chars nobody is playing
People are definitely playing other characters then kate or feng. They should also get some cosmetics too.

It's good for healing builds

Its so dumb that boons totems aren't destroyed when stepped on. Shattered Hope should be base kit, even if it takes a little longer. Survivors should not be able to reboon the same totem over and over again. Honestly boon totems where the worst addition to this game outside of instant teleport pallets back in the day. They are just super easy mode self care and unbreakble. It heals just as well as old self-care but BHVR won't nerf it more? I call BS. Mostly this is a rant but I see boon totems in nearly every game and I am sick and tired of them. Or reduce them to a certain amount of uses a game, like 2.
Let's say we do limit the number of times you can bless a boon, Are you going to buff the other Boons to be good? Because out of all of them only circle of healing is s teir. Shadowstep is okay but a bit situational and Exponential and Dark Theory are just bad.
If you make changes but not buff the others then boons would not be worth taking at all which is bad.

@GeneralV said:
I disagree with a lot of your points here, but I do agree with the main argument.
If Hexes are gone forever once they are destroyed, so should Boons.
It is only fair.
I don't think so. Despite both being based on totem there are noticeable differences between the two that makes them not comparable.
In fact I would argue most hexes are more stronger then most of the boons outside circle of healing

That's a very good question, I'll gladly test it later when my friend gets on and get you the answer if someone doesn't already know the answer.
Could you also test if it works with open handed too please?

Maybe they had to do something mid game

Same. Definitely leveling her up, even before Wesker.
It's literally like a parent punishing their child
Oh you want to throw the game by killing yourself? Your going to stay in the game instead. You think about what you have done
-
I'm going to absolutely love this perk.
The anti camping and no quitting potential seems great

How do you remove it? Seriously.
Remove Tunnelling? Would you make a survivor unhookable until you hook another survivor? Or just flat out invulnerable? So that they can do whatever the hell they want right in front of the killer with no consequence?
How do you remove camping? Make a zone around the hook that the killer can't enter or is powerless? So a safe zone, where survivors are invulnerable? Or teleporting hooks? So the killer physically can't secure a kill even if they try? The killer, cant kill?
I think there are some ways to reduce it. What about making basekit mechanics that varies in effect based on different stages of the game? It can be based on the number of gens and maybe on the number of hooks.
Early game, middle game, and endgame.
-
It needs another effect because it just terrible
-
Fixing one problem won't fix all her problems. Some complaints are still valid
I still think her attacks should be special attacks instead of basic ones. In my opinion that's all she needs and she is balanced.

There's.... it's a lot more complicated than it sounds on a technical level. I'm willing to explain, but trust me when I say, the solution is so simple that it's been considered.
The simplest solution is sometimes the best? Could you explain whats wrong?
-
Idk I feel her blinks should still count as a special attacks instead of of a basic one

There's really no way to tell that though. People might see 4 gens up, and consider it the beggining. But what they don't see is 2 or 3 gens are almost done...All of the sudden it's mid or late game. Instead of a perceived early game. How can you reasonably define any of that.
It shouldn't be too difficult. We can probably dictate the speed of the game by the number of gens completed.
Beginning could be 5 gens left
Middle is from 4 to 2 gens left
Endgame is 1 and 0 gens left.
You can probably also factor in number of hooks but it could use more thinking. But this should be the gens should be the foundation.

You can't really change much. Without effecting valid situations. That's the problem
You can limit how effective they are at different stages of the game.
Have changes for the beginning, middle and end of the trial.
There should be no reason to camp and tunnel in the beginning.
-
@BrokenSouI said:
Maybe because they don't need to be ?
Yes it most certainly does. It's way to easy to do so with the increasing gen times and other slowdown perks

This is the exact issue I have with this. BHVR has been using perks as band-aid fixes to core gameplay issues for years and I'm just bored of it.
It just seems like a cheap and lazy way to force people to buy chapters if they don't want to be tunneled and camped every game.
Exactly. And what's more annoying is that they were supposed to do something about it with the killer buffs. But they were inadequate
-
@Seraphor said:
Reassurance is a better version of Kinship that could actually be meta. If the killer is hard camping you can extend a hook state by 3 minutes.
I'm sorta on the fence about this. Instead of coming up with basekit options like they were supposed to they are having perks fix the problem instead.
Every new change has made perks solve the issues instead.

32m is a terror radius, that's pretty decent range for Reactive Healing.
I imagine pairing it with Resurgence could lead to some really useful, lucky breaks. Imagine getting unhooked with a hook trade, you immediately gain 85% of your health. You can either top that last bit up, or maybe someone else goes down and you're insta-healed, allowing you to go for the rescue right away and basically resetting the game state.
Reactive Healing doesn't have a cooldown do that could actually be good. I wonder if it works while slugged

Not likely, killer can't tell it's in play, so they likely won't notice it at all, the effect of it on the game would be identical to SWF call outs or a particularly attentive survivor. That's like saying Kindred is complained about.
Wiretap will be useful, like Kindred, but it won't be one that bothers killers.
Hyperfocus is much more likely to be the "problem" perk. It makes already strong survivors even stronger, while being useless for mid-low survivors.
Reassurance isn't too bad either. It's a Camaraderie/Kinship that actually useful, because it's triggered by the survivor attempting the rescue, not used by the hookee as an insurance policy that doesn't announce it's presence to other survivors.
Reactive Healing is also a decent perk, probably something that's on par with Resurgence or Inner Healing. Not one that's particularly problematic for killers, but it's yet another healing perk and stacking healing perks is always very effective for survivors. Healing is after all the survivors version of slowdown, it rolls back the killers partial progress to their main objective, killing.
The two survivors each have two decent, worthwhile perks. Pretty good survivor chapter tbh.
Actually I feel reassurance could be a bit troublesome In endgame where the killer has to camp
Hyperfocus probably won't become a problem because of how easily you can lose the stacks. There have been multiple times in which the gen always gives a skillcheck when you get off of it.
Reactive Healing I don't see being good at all thr range seems too small.
Wiretap could be a bit of a problem when paired with open handed but it's like Kindred like you said so probably nothing to worry about
Both have solid perks with the occasional one bad perk nearly no one will use.

Take a guess as to what perk people will say is op. I going to say wiretap

I'm excited. Too bad I can't try out the ptb for it since I play on console.
Like always I'm excited for the perks

infinite healing, infinite breakables, no scratch marks, the speed boost that i barely see and imagine an SWF
3 survivors with them and they have em in different places, yea good luck playing the game and oh yea a prove thyself on the top of it
the only way i managed to keep em in check is because i had a massive terror on doc, if not for him it was an insta ggs
Infinite unbreakable with no scratch marks are very situational and a 2% movement speed isn't going to help a lot. The only good boon is circle of healing which has been nerfed and is fine.
Your really exaggerating how good these boons are.
-
Having a full boon load out isn't even that good. It's a meme.
But this is weird complaint thread

I'm struggling to see how. I mean we have maps but other then that idk

I actually love it as well. I like to pair it with alert to see if the killer kicks a gen or a pallet

It doesn’t happen very often specifically because survivors immediately know when a Pentimento is created. On top of which even if the survivors aren’t paying attention to the debuff icon on their screen, there’s a good possibility they can just randomly stumble on one of the Pentimento tokens and cleanse it just like they would any other Hex totem.
Fortunately for Pentimento you don’t actually need to get five of them for the perk to be useful. All you need is to have one or two lit and you’re already getting a lot of slowdown for however long the totems stay up. Getting five feels amazing obviously because it’s so rare and has such a neat final effect of locking all the totems down, but it’s really just a cherry on top of the sundae.
It seems like the survivors really dropped the ball when the killers have all 5 stacks of pentimento.
Like what we're they doing
-
To be honest this shouldn't even be happening.
Don't survivors get the hex notification for pentimento
-
Well that's too bad because i love stealth. It's fun to juke and avoid a killer who is looking for you to waste their time.
Killers have a plethora of tracking perks and addons. Use them instead of complaining about a valid playstyle
