Camaraderie should let other survivors aware that you have the perk
@Spirit_IsTheBest said:
Solidarity, Reactive Healing, and Resurgence should not have its progress denied from Hemorrhage. For an example if you have those perks and it gives you the 50% healing progress, the progress will not be taken away, but if you heal higher then 50% and then stop healing, it's progress only regresses down to 50%.
So, in summary. Perks that give you healing progress instantly cannot be regressed below 50%. A nice QOL change for those perks.
Solidarity should also show other survivors you have it

I do run Lithe so Lightweight would do well. Probably add that to the list of perks I want to get value from without forcing it so hard
Lightweight is really good. I enjoy it a lot

I'll try this but if I get another open map, I'm virtually throwing hands with the entity.
You should try lightweight and a exhaustion perk. You can get away fast and it would be hard to track you with your scratch marks being inconsistent

I would love to use perks like hyperfocus but I'm not exaggerating when I say this, I'll touch a gen for like half a second and then I hear the killer approach
May I suggest investing in being stealthy. If you hear a killer coming be as stealthy as possible and wait for them to leave then resume the gen. It makes the killer waste time and you can get progress on the gen

That fair but I'd rather use perks that give me an advantage to get distance in chases than gen based perks. (It's a bold assumption for me to believe I'll get to touch a gen atp)
Yeah I understand. I try and make builds that help in multiple aspects of the survivors game and not in just one but to each their own

If I actually wanted to use self care, I'm only using it with Botany. I'm not running a full healing build when I can just run 2 and have the other 2 perks ones I need. (OTR and Lithe)
Its not really a full healing build for self care its just two perk combos that also happen to work well together.
Stake Out and Hyperfocus
Self Care and Botany Knowledge
This build is good for both healing and gens. It's a double win
-
I love hyperfocus. I used a build thaf was hyperfocus, Self Care, Stake Out and Botany Knowledge with and it made Self care and gens a lot more bareable.
-
Adam's loss was the real tragedy
-
It's useful as you can use it for misdirection and to be more careful so the killer won't track you
-
So I take it it doesn't work while on the ground too?
-
Just make hyperfocus not work with toolboxes and prove thyself is fine
-
I would increase the duration to 4 seconds and lower the cooldown to 20 seconds

Interesting idea. Personally I've wanted skins more that go with that theme. When I was contemplating skins for Joey survivor, a 20s theme party was one of them.
Rather then a mob boss I'd rather it be someone who has had to choose from a bunch of awful options in life and to protect those they cared about they had no choice but to work in organized crime and have little faith in authority who are on the take and they have no idea who they can trust. They'll rapidly move up the ranks but then it'll go too far. This way we can get a mob boss killer to go with them ;). 'Get 'em boys'.
Yep this is my idea.
I want a high ranking and respected member of a mafia. They could be a complex character, like although they are in the mob they have standard and morals and values family. Something along these lines
-
This is really awkward
-
I think wiretap can have the meter increase to 18 instead of 14.
I also think blastmine should be reverted back to what it was before it was fine
-
I would really like another male survivor. I really want a mob boss as a survivor. That would be cool
-
Because the devs are ridiculous
-
@Reinami said:
I think they should change it to work similar to blast mine/wiretap. Something like.
- After working on a generator for X seconds, Red Herring activates for X seconds.
- While active, target a generator and press the active ability button. Doing so will trigger a loud noise notification for that generator.
This should make it more usable i think. Keeping solo queue in mind maybe something slightly different like:
- After working on a generator for X seconds, Red Herring activates for X seconds.
- While active, target a generator and press the active ability button. Doing so will highlight the generator in red for all survivors and trigger a loud noise notification for that generator after 10 seconds.
This way if a teammate is working the gen, they know it's about to pop and can go somewhere else. Or potentially use it to lure the killer over to them.
I like your idea better. I makes it good and doesn't hurt your teammates
-
@Crowman said:
Red Herring is one of those perks where it either does absolutely nothing, because the killer ignores the noise notification or you end up screwing a teammate who jumped on the gen you had red herring on.
I don't even think this buff would make it useful, because it's too highly dependent on the actions of others.
Yeah that possibility of screwing over my teammates seems like too big of a downside
-
I am happy that killers are happy and are enjoying the game
-
I think they should just not make it work with Toolboxes. No need to change the numbers. Any less number will probably make it useless
-
I say just increase vaulting speed by 8 or 10%
-
It's meh. I would not really recommend

I get that, but then why add the feature at all? If it's going to be that game breaking, then, why even make it a thing?
Half of the time the mechanic doesn't even work right either. Sometimes I have to use both charges to vault because he slides against the pallet as if it were butter. Just why add something so useless to a killer when they could've added some other mechanic that was actually useful.
I'm not sure. Probably for money.
I'm really never sure why the devs do what they do
-
The way i see it You really have to be careful when making a mechanic that allows killers to vault pallets. Theoretically speaking it would turn pallets completely useless if the killer could vault it and get a free hit.
This would be like original legion right? And we definitely don't want that again right? Also it would probably make him into an anti loop killer which isn't necessarily fun.
-
Imagine unironically complaining about Dead hard
-
This never should have been a thing for dredge if I'm being honest
-
I feel they should let it work with open handed but either reduced the time by a lot or reduced the original distance
-
I would prefer if they just delete the map from the roster but that's just me
-
I genuinely want to hear an explanation for the nerf. Like why???

i doubt they specify instance twice for no reason.
Maybe I didn't understand it correctly but does that mean that it can be used in every hook state? Meaning if your on your first hook and you active it, then the same survivor is on their second hook it can be activated again??
-
I think it should work per hook state. That way if the killer camps onto struggle the survivor can still activate reassurance and the killer can lose more time camping.
Unless it already works this way then it's fine
-
It was fine before. Why nerf it?? Ridiculous
-
I'm thinking more of a Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street vibr from a dbd musical
-
To bad I can't play untill the weekend :)
-
The people should rest!!

Yes. He needs to be more muscular, with a much higher pixel count and get a new g-string, shirtless cosmetic.
I'm for this
-
Maybe it will be fixed in the next update so they won't mind to keep her available for a bit longer?
-
Speaking of old dbd @GeneralV I saw a tutorial on how to play previous versions of dbd. Since I know you like that have you tried to do it yourself??
-
I'm currently experimenting for now but my build is currently. It definitely could change
Premonition, Lithe, Vigil, Lightweight
-
I'm not too sure about stake out but Diversion definitely

On the condition that they make survivors do 12 gens each
Ok but also killers move slower and take 4 hits to down deal??
-
I'm sorry but how do you know all this. Do you see people In his streams harassing him?
Do you have screenshots of people harassing him on twitch ot Twitter or anywhere else.
Where your you getting this information

I don't encourage my friends to play DBD, because I'm a good friend.
Am I a terrible friend
-
I don't think so. It's not just 10 seconds right? It's that plus an even better speed boost. I think that will be enough time for the survivor to find a window or a pallet to use if the killer decides to tunnel.
-
Are you serious??? I thought it was a meme people were going to start complaining about it next
-
I don't really see this as a problem. It seems fine. Every survivor won't get use out of it and it has pretty substantial downsides fo counter it. It probably also won't be good if the killer camps
-
They should have just increased the duration by a good amount and I think it would have been fine.
It's just bad now
-
I'm disappointed in the change. I thought I could use it in an Autodidact build
