Its actually very well thought out, because its one of the only perks in the game that acknowledges 2+ survivors could be on 2+ gens at the same time.
But it unfortunately makes camping easier as it buys the killer time since the survivors can't split up on gens as efficiently
-
Deadlock is a really terrible and not a well thought out perk

I do play Killer still, just not as much as I once did.
My Kills do outnumber my escapes by 10x, so there's that. I'm a way better Killer than I am Survivor (good thing too, my Survivor is awful) but I decided that I should at least try to play Survivor more.
It's really helped expand my opinions on the game and it's current state.
That's great. It's good to get new perspectives.
Do you only play solo or do you play in a swf
-
I only have fun in swf. I refuse to play solo.
I have had so much fun playing with my friend and we do some fun plays to enjoy ourselves

That's my secret, I don't have fun.
Can i just say I didn't know you were a survivor main. I thought you were a killer main or at least 50/50

Why is "this or that dosnt take skill" so important??
i play to have fun, i dont care if you think that my fun takes skill or not
Why are you replying to me about this? I never brought up the topic or mentioned anything about fun
-
You have committed a grave sin
Your sins will be forgiven if you play your next game as adam with premonition
Join the club of premonition users and repent :)
-
Dead Hard is fine and does take skill
I can't believe people are still complaining about Dead Hard

The thing is it doesn’t. Doing gens take more skill because at least they have skill checks, knowing what gens to do first, and having to check surroundings. Camping is just waiting, that’s literally it.
Oh I know. I think they are being ridiculous

Then read the last paragraph of my main post and understand my main point. Camping and tunnelling are not the most skilful activities, but it's massively more skilful than generators.
I did read the last paragraph.
It takes no skill to camp a survivor just like it takes no skill to do generators :)

It's funny you say that considering doing a gen is literally sitting in one spot and checking your screen every 10 seconds.
Idk where you saw I said that considering I never claimed that doing gens took skill
-
I really don't see how standing in one place by a hooked survivor takes skill
-
I want an adam skin
-
It's tribalism.
It's human nature to act this way but unfortunately we don't check ourselves enough so that it won't blind us to the other side.
-
- Which ds nerf are you talking about?
- Killers act the same way. To make this only about survivors is a bit bias. ( I'm not sure if that was your intention or not though)
-
I have a few criticisms of the survivor perks
Adrenaline: doesn't need a change it is fine as is.
Aftercare: fine as it. I think it would be overpowered if it was change this way and overshadow other survivor perks
Blood Pact: should have A lingering effect
Boon: Circle of Healing: fine as is now and doesn't need too much of a change except it can't work with Healing items
Boon: Dark Theory: is still bad. It needs s secondary effect. I say just increase vault speeds by a good amount
Boon: Exponential: the linger effect should be longer. Like 5 or 6 seconds.
Breakdown: would be too overpowered if it was permanent just increase the total time to 200 or more seconds.
Dance With Me: Should lower the cooldown to 20 seconds along with thr suggestion.
Diversion: the time in the terror radius should increase in chase to see more use.
Mettle of man: should just remove the aura reading in general it makes it so weak
Open Handed doesn't need any changes
Premonition: cooldown is still way too long for a lack luster effect. The cooldown should be 10 or 8 seconds
Residual Manifest: increase blindness effect to 45 seconds
Resilience. Is fine and doesn't need changes
Situational awareness: doesn't need any changes. Just make the aura red instead of yellow to prevent other survivors from confusing it with killer perks.
Renewal and Camaraderie should be reworked too.
Imo these are the only survivor perk changes I disagree with but overall good
-
I actually didn't think about that. It might be ok. Still niche but better
-
Idk. I don't teabag or click my flashlight at the killer.
-
I feel like this would be too strong. I say just increase wiggle speed by 100%
-
I don't think that would be good. It seems situational.
I say just make it into a exhaustion perk or give the survivors the haste status effect to get away faster
-
At first glance it sounds bad but I'm not sure until I see it in action.
-
Get well soon

How many pallets are you talking about? A good chase you can burn thru 2-3 pallets depending on how well you loop and mind game.
Id say Windows only because my resource is somewhat infinite where as a pallet is limited resource and it’s just a matter of time before none are left on the map.
Like literally no pallets. Just windows or vice versa
-
I mean using flashlights take skill that most players suck at. Most of the time they hurt the team then help
But if your really frustrated with it may I suggest lightborn. It makes you immune to flashlight and blinds of all kinds.
This maybe a weak suggestion but there is overwhelming presence. It reduces item item charges when used in the terror radius.

Who fell for that anyway?
I did unfortunately
-
I think to buff it you could make it so that other survivors see the aura of the regressing generator.

Sometimes I do the same thing. I think the killer is far away, but really they're behind the wall next to me. Then I run into them. 😅
Spine Chill can help a little with this though, despite it's nerf.
Premonition solve the problem better imo
-
I have this problem too sometimes. I suggest using premonition

Just had a game on The Game where Shadow Step got me out of like 3 different chases without being hit. Was able to run around a corner, break LOS, and then no scratch marks or aura reading (Wraith with "All Seeing" purple) carried me to victory. Was great fun
I remember me and my friend brought Shadowstep to the game with a Myers with scratch mirror. He could not find us because of the aura reading block.
-
I actually love shadow step. Definitely one of my favorite stealth perks.
I sometimes use it by itself for a stealth build
-
No need to do too much just revert the nerf to 50% again
-
I say buff the numbers even more. It should be like a reverse thanataphobia
-
No you don't. It absolutely does not work with Autodidact
-
Thank you you have made me hate him even more
-
Ghostface is the most annoying one for me
-
I'm really surprised off the record isn't the top one

I hope This thread will get out of hand

Idk killers camping also seems cheap.
Cheap tactics begets cheap mechanics
-
Thats ridiculous. skill had nothing to do with the perk and even still now. it was all luck based
-
I miss it too. :(
-
I can't believe we're still complaining about Dead Hard
-
It would sorta be broken. Kindred with open handed is pretty far.
It would just be another 30 meter range with little setup.
-
A part of me still don't want more of her but idk
-
@RaSavage42 said:
It would've been fine as is... But the Devs saw that it wasn't used a lot and decided to change it
I guess they thought the usage rate was too high and wanted to make less survivors use it
-
Nurses attacks should absolutely be a special attack. She can blink through walls and obstacles having an insta down on top of that is not fair in the slightest.
A killer that can phase through walls should not have an instant down

Those perks are meta because they make my games less miserable lmfao
That was the original point of the meta change right? Was to make it so that people wouldn't need those perks to enjoy the game
